大阪日本橋からそのまま滋賀に向かうと書かれていたのに、もうひとつの乗り場までいくからとのことで京都まで行き、全体で見ると50~60分のロス。
最初に行ったツアーのメインである美術館での時間は大変短くなってしまい、かなり残念でした。展示品はほぼ見ることが出来ず、昼食も取らなければならなかったのでかなり忙しかったです。
またツアー代はしっかりかかっているにも関わらず、入場代や食事代は全て実費。
普通は含まれていることが多いと思うので、残念でした。
良かったところは普段行けないところに行けたという一点のみ。

After reading past experiences, I decided to book this tour, wanting to request Tsugimachi-san for the Yakushima trekking!
Since this tour covers Jomon Sugi and Shiratani Unsuikyo in one day, it requires a fairly fast pace.
After finishing the relatively flat trolley path, I thought we could make it since we had completed a quarter of the overall journey, but the climb after seeing the Wilson stump was tough. Following Tsugimachi-san's advice to narrow down our destination for better pace management, we gave up on Jomon Sugi and changed our course to head back to Kusukawa and aim for Taiko Rock, heading towards the Shiratani Unsuikyo route.
Tsugimachi-san is a veteran guide with 2,500 tours under his belt, so his calm and thoughtful judgment was greatly appreciated. Since I had booked a private guide, it was also great that we could make such flexible plan changes.
The weather was clear that day, and I was advised that the view from Taiko Rock would be absolutely beautiful. Personally, I wanted to see Taiko Rock, so I prioritized this, and it turned out to be a fantastic decision!
It seems that on some days, visibility can be so poor that you can't see even a meter ahead, but I was truly able to witness an unforgettable breathtaking view.
Additionally, I enjoyed Tsugimachi-san's talks along the way. It seems that the brain for walking and the brain for thinking or conversing require different movements, creating a multitasking state that is good for brain training, which was quite amusing!
By the way, there were many fun moments thanks to Tsugimachi-san's surprises and playful spirit, making it not just tough but enjoyable as well! Tsugimachi-san is a pro at creating wonderful Yakushima trekking memories.
This tour itself is quite challenging, so it might be tough for those who are not used to climbing up and down mountain paths or lack confidence in their physical fitness. However, the trekking guided by Tsugimachi-san was excellent, and I’m truly glad I chose this option!

1日で縄文杉・白谷雲水峡を回り切るツアーのため、かなりハイペースで足を進める必要があります。
比較的平坦なトロッコ道が終わったところで全体行程の1/4終了ということで、これは行けそうと思ったものの…ウィルソン株を見た後の登りがキツく、ペース配分的にも目的地を絞った方が良いという津曲さんのアドバイスもあり、縄文杉は諦め、楠川分かれまで戻って太鼓岩を目指し、白谷雲水峡ルートに向かうコースに変更いただきました。
2,500回ガイドをされてきているベテランガイドさんなので、冷静でありがたい判断でしたし、貸切ガイドで予約していたため、このような臨機応変なプラン変更ができたのも良かったです。
この日は快晴で、太鼓岩からの景色は絶対綺麗だよというアドバイスもあり、個人的にも太鼓岩は見てみたいと思っていたのでこちらを優先したのですが、結果大正解でした！
日によっては1m先も見えないくらいの天候なことも多いようですが、本当に一生忘れられない絶景を拝むことができました。
また、道中の津曲さんのトークにも楽しませていただきました。
歩くための脳みそと、何か考えたり会話するための脳みそは別の動きが必要なので、マルチタスク状態となり、脳トレに良いそうです笑
ちなみに、所々のサプライズや津曲さんの遊び心で、キツいだけではなく楽しい瞬間もたくさんありました！

このツアー自体はかなりきついのでアップダウンの山道も登り慣れているor体力に相当自信がある人でないと厳しいかもしれませんが、津曲さんガイドのトレッキングは最高だったので、本当にこちらを選んで良かったです！

１日で縄文杉と白谷雲水峡を歩くコースはペース上げて歩かないと帰りの白谷雲水峡は真っ暗になりますので、ある程度の体力がないと厳しいですね。
体験談でも書いてありますように、ウィルソン株以降の通称「地獄の階段」で大幅にペースダウンし、このままだと帰りの白谷雲水峡は真っ暗になると思い
縄文杉のみにするか、ウィルソン株で折り返し白谷雲水峡に行くか提案しましたが、結果白谷雲水峡を選んで正解だったと思います。
当日は１年で数日あるかないかの晴天でしたので、太鼓岩からの景色が最高に良かったのでお二人よりも私の方が喜んでしまいました（笑）
縄文杉には行けませんでしたが、少しでも屋久島のトレッキングの楽しさ、キツさ素晴らしさを体験出来たのは良かったのではないでしょうか。
もし機械がありましたら体力をつけて縄文杉トレッキングをリベンジして欲しいですね。
