I was able to sightsee efficiently in a short amount of time. The Kariyushi Aquarium was very nice, and I was also able to visit other popular tourist spots, which was great. The bus was comfortable as well. I could board the bus with my suitcase from the airport and head out to sightsee right away. The drop-off location was convenient for transportation and also a great spot for shopping.

The following afternoon also had some waves, and I felt a bit seasick right after we set sail, which was tough.

However, after about an hour, we were able to reach the area where the whales were, and we got to see them. The number of whales increased from two to three, and they stayed with us until just before the boat returned. It was very moving.

However, it was disappointing that there seemed to be regulations preventing us from getting too close. Also, capturing them on camera was quite difficult.

当初予定した日の午前中が出港なしになり、翌日の午後になりました。中止の日は風が強く波も出ていたので、無理かなとわかりました。翌日の午後も少し波があり、出港してすぐは船酔いしそうでつらかったです。
しかし、1時間ほどしてクジラのいる場所に行くことができ、見ることができました。2頭、3頭、とクジラが増え、船が戻る直前まで、クジラたちはいてくれました。とても感動しました。
ただ、規則があるらしくあまりそばまで近づけないのが残念でした。
また、カメラにおさめるのはなかなか難しいですね。

The day before, I had gone trekking to Jomon Sugi and was worried about my stamina, but while chatting with the guide, I quickly arrived at the destination. Since the guide is from Yakushima, it was really enjoyable to hear stories about Yakushima.

After the tour, I went to lunch at a recommended restaurant with the other participants and the guide. There, I was able to try the famous "kubore saba" (saba fish).

前日に縄文杉までトレッキングをしていて体力的に不安でしたが、ガイドさんと喋っていたらあっという間に目的地についていました。屋久島出身のガイドさんなので屋久島についてのお話が聞けてとても楽しかったです。
また、ツアー後に参加者さん、ガイドさんとオススメのお店に昼食に行きました。そこで、首折れサバも食べることができました。

There were about 20 to 30 people on the boat, but it was nice that it wasn't so crowded that we couldn't see the ocean. Perhaps because it was the day after a high wave warning, the boat was really rocking, and quite a few people were feeling seasick and vomiting.

We spotted a whale less than an hour after setting sail, and we were able to see it from a decent distance. It didn't jump, but it did show us its fluke and tail fin several times.

I also appreciated the shuttle service.

一つの船に2〜30人ほど？で、人が多くて海が見えないことはなくて良かったです。高波注意報が出た次の日だからか、揺れがすごく酔って吐いてる人がかなりいました。
くじらは出航して1時間経たないうちに見つかり、そこそこの近さで見れました。ジャンプまではしてくれませんでしたが、ブラーや尾ビレは何度か見せてくれました。

It was my first time riding the Sky Bus. It was a cold day. Since I came from Aomori for the trip, I thought it would feel warm, but the Sky Bus was quite chilly.

However, even while shivering from the cold, I appreciated the words of the guide that reached my ears. I was very grateful for the cheerful words meant to entertain the tourists. While listening to the stories, I felt it was a good choice to take the Sky Bus today. The wind was extremely cold, but thank you for the heartwarming experience.

I participated in a course that started early in the morning at Shiratani Unsuikyo and ended around noon. It was raining in the morning, but thanks to that, the moss was vibrant and sparkling, which was very beautiful. The guide valued communication and was enjoyable to talk to, making the 5 and a half hours fly by! Although it was windy, we were able to go to Taiko Rock as well. I'm glad I participated! I love moss, so I would like to come back again!

I planned a trip with the purpose of attending the Sapporo Snow Festival, but after receiving advice from my son’s wife, who has experience living in Hokkaido, I quickly booked a tour.

The scale was smaller compared to the Snow Festival, but it's hard to express in words, so please check the photos. The journey included encounters with deer and sights like Lake Shikotsu, making the trip to the venue full of highlights.

It seems you can also get there using public transportation, but considering the cold and the thought of waiting in line, it was a great success to follow the advice and go with the tour. The guide was very friendly and introduced us to various attractions, making for a truly enjoyable time.

札幌雪まつりを目的に旅行を計画しましたが、

Both Saijō Gushikawa and the Valley of Gangala were great, but I was particularly satisfied with the Valley of Gangala. The scenery of the limestone caves and the banyan trees was unlike anything I usually see, allowing me to fully enjoy an extraordinary experience. Additionally, I didn't know that archaeological excavations from prehistoric times were taking place there, so it was very interesting to hear a lot from the guide and to see the excavation sites. The guide's explanations were clear and easy to listen to. I'm really glad I participated. I was able to spend a fulfilling half-day before leaving Okinawa.

斎場御嶽もガンガラーの谷もどちらも良かったが、特にガンガラーの谷はほんとうに満足だった。鍾乳洞とガジュマルなどの木の景色も普段見られないものばかりで、非日常を満喫できた。それだけじゃなくて、原始時代の発掘調査が行われているのは知らなかったので、ガイドさんからたっぷり話を聴いて、発掘跡も見せてもらえてとても興味深かった。ガイドさんの話はわかりやすく、聴きやすかった。本当に参加してよかった。沖縄を発つ前に充実した半日を過ごすことができた。

I have participated in whale watching several times, but this time, I was able to see part of a whale for the first time! The tail fin, dorsal fin, and the blow. While it may be expected to see these during whale watching, the excitement and impact of finally witnessing them after so many attempts is beyond words for me. The staff's guidance on where to look for the whales was also precise, and I believe everyone in the group was able to see them without missing out. I'm really glad I continued to participate without giving up.

ホエールウォッチングに何度か参加させてもらってますが、今回は何と、なんと、ナント…初めてクジラの一部を拝むことができました(^^♪
尾びれに背びれ、そしてブロー。ホエールウォッチングなので見れて当たり前なのかもしれませんが、何度も参加して拝むことができなかった自分にとって、その感動・迫力は言葉に言い表せません。
スタッフの皆様方のクジラの見える方角の案内も的確で、参加者みんなが見逃すことなく拝めたと思います。諦めずに参加し続けてよかったです。

I heard that there is a sunshade on the ceiling in summer, and the transparent ceiling is only for now. We were able to take pictures of the Tokyo Skytree all the way to the top.

The guide kept the energy up throughout, and my child was especially delighted with the diving, which they were looking forward to the most. We passed by several people practicing canoeing on the river, and it was heartwarming that everyone waved at us.

The explanation mentioned that the river ride lasts about 20 minutes. After getting off the river, there was a 10-15 minute disembarkation time, and we could take a break at the café or use the restroom.

My elementary school child seemed to enjoy it too, and said they want to go again on a sunny day.

川ではカヌー？を練習中の方と何度もすれ違いましたが皆さん手を振ってくれたのも微笑ましかったです。
川は20分くらいとの説明がありました。川から出た後は10-15分くらいの降車タイムがあり、カフェで休憩やトイレも可能でした。

今度は晴れた日にも行きたいね、と小学生の子どもも楽しめたようです。

I was worried about seasickness, so I joined this whale watching tour on a large boat. It was a nice bonus that they provided transportation close to the hotel.

After about 40 minutes out of the port, we spotted a whale and stopped the boat, allowing passengers to go to the front deck. During the hour of observation, we were able to see whales about 5 to 6 times.

■ Good points
- While the whales were diving, they provided explanations about them, which kept us engaged.
- When a whale was spotted, they quickly changed the boat's direction and got closer, making it easy to see.
- Although there was some rocking on the large boat, I was hardly worried about seasickness.

■ Bad points
- The boat was nearly full with about 60 passengers, and the observation deck at the front was extremely crowded. For safety reasons, we had to stay seated, which made it quite uncomfortable as there was no space to stretch our legs. Additionally, since the deck was flat, shorter people had their view obstructed by those in front of them, making it quite difficult to see.

港を出て40分ほどでクジラを見つけたとのことで停船し、乗客は船の前のデッキへ。1時間ほどの観察で5〜6回クジラを見つけることができました。

・クジラが見つかるとすぐに船の向きを変えたり近づいてくれたりするので、見やすかったです。
・大型船でも揺れないことはないですが、船酔いは殆ど心配ないくらいでした。
■悪かった点
・ほぼ満席の60名ほど乗っており、船の前の見学デッキは超満員。安全のため座っている必要があるので、足を伸ばしたりできるスペースがなくかなり辛かったです。またデッキは平らなので背が低い人は前の人に視界を遮られてかなり見ずらい状況でした。

I had a hard time finding the reception, as it was on the opposite side of the station, but I finally located it with some help. It's near the Daimaru side corridor, at the opposite entrance of the JR Tower Hotel. At the reception, I exchanged my voucher for a ticket. After checking in, I waited near the entrance of the building on the right side as you exit the station. When the time came, a staff member came to pick us up. There was a heavy snow warning, which made me worried, but by the time the tour started, the snow had stopped and the sun was out. There were 15 participants. First, we headed to the ski jump, but unfortunately, we couldn't use the lift for practice as they were preparing for the competition the next day, and we missed seeing it by the time we gathered. Next, we went to the Shiroi Koibito Park, and I was surprised by the building, which was beyond my expectations. We only had 30 minutes there, and it felt rushed; I wished we had another 30 minutes. After that, we went to the outer market, where I enjoyed a seafood bowl and had plenty of time to choose souvenirs. I've visited Sapporo many times, but this was my first time participating in a city bus tour, and I'm glad I did as it allowed us to efficiently see the highlights.

Honestly, I was disappointed that we couldn't make it to Takoi Rock, but I appreciate that the guide considered our safety, and because of that, we were able to visit various places, which was great! I wish someone had informed us that the bus was not open. The Ice Festival itself was good, but I think half the time would have been sufficient. However, it was strange that photos taken from a certain spot at the Ice Shrine turned out striped. No matter how many times I took the picture, it always came out with stripes.

規模の割に、90分の見学時間は長すぎた。

However, the Gyokusendo Cave was longer than I expected, and after watching the Haisai Show, I was worried that my elderly mother wouldn't make it back to the bus on time, so I had to hold her hand and run for the latter half of the tour. I think it would have been better if there had been a bit more detailed information about how long it would take to walk.

I participated in a morning tour for my afternoon flight. Since I had previously visited Okinawa World, this time I went to the Gyokusendo Cave. This tour was better than I expected, and it was nice to walk slowly through the valley with a guide. Although there were some ups and downs, the path was paved and easy to walk on, so I didn't get tired. The guide was also good at speaking, and the tempo was slow, making it easy to listen. We were picked up on time in front of the ANA Hotel lobby. There were 46 people on the tour, but on the day I participated, half of them were from overseas. The guide explained everything in both English and Japanese, which I found very impressive. The explanations were thorough and kind. The Shikotsuko Ice Festival was also magical and fun. The weather was nice, and the light displays were beautiful. The roasted marshmallows cooked over the bonfire at the venue were delicious. It was cold, but if you dress warmly, you'll be fine! I'm glad I brought crampons. An hour and a half of sightseeing at the venue felt just right. The bus arrived smoothly, which was great. Maybe it was because it was a weekday. The guide mentioned that on weekends, you have to line up to park. I'm glad I participated.

Thanks to that, I was able to enjoy the journey and complete the walk safely! We moved through each spot while learning about Yakushima, and the time flew by as we chatted and had fun. And above all, the photos! They took so many wonderful pictures for us. If we had gone on our own, we wouldn't have been able to create such beautiful memories, so I'm really glad we asked for their help. I've looked back at the photos many times. Thank you very much! I will come back to Yakushima again.

レンタル、送迎付きなので楽ちんで大満足なツアーでした。運動経験とトレッキング経験もなく不安でしたが、ペースを見ながら進んでくれて心温まる気遣いもたくさんして頂きました。そのお陰で楽しく進めて、無事歩き切ることが出来ました！それぞれのスポット、屋久島の説明や楽しくお話しながら進めたので、あっという間に時間が過ぎました。そして何と言っても写真！めちゃめちゃ素敵な写真をたくさん撮って貰いました(^.^)自分達だけで行ったらこんな素敵な思い出は残せていないので、お願いして本当に良かったです。写真何度も見返してます(^.^)ありがとうございました！また屋久島に遊びに来ます。

I understand you were worried about the weather forecast predicting heavy rain the day before, but it turned out to be a pleasant day as time went on, allowing for a comfortable walk.

At Taiko Rock, the strong winds limited our time there, so I hope you can visit again on a calmer day.

If you come back to the island, I encourage you to train your body and take on the Jomon Sugi trekking challenge.

I know you were anxious about the return ferry and flight cancellations, but I’m relieved to hear you have safely left the island.

この度は、白谷雲水峡トレッキングにお申し込み頂きそして体験談に投稿頂きありがとうございました。

前日の天気予報で当日は大雨で中止になるかもしれず不安だったと思いますが、当日になったら時間が経つにつれて
晴れて快適に歩けましたね。

太鼓岩では強風で滞在時間が少なかったので次回は穏やかな時に来て欲しいです。

そして次回来島する事があったら体を鍛えて縄文杉トレッキングに挑戦して下さい。

帰りの高速船や飛行機が欠航になり延泊して不安だったと思いますが、先ほど無事島を離れたと報告を頂きホッとしております。
