We participated as a family of four.
It took about 40 minutes to reach our destination from the meeting point.
We were lent flashlights and rubber boots, and we explored the jungle. Perhaps because it had just rained, we saw many creatures, including coconut crabs.
We reached the coast, where we could see the starry sky and even spotted shooting stars.
家族4人で参加。
集合場所から40分ほどで、目的地に到着。
懐中電灯と長靴を貸していただき、ジャングルを散策ました。雨上がりのためか生き物が出てきており、ヤシガニも多くみられました。
海岸に出て、星空も観ることができ、流れ星も見られました。
蚊は思ったほどおらず、虫除けスプレーをつけていきましたが、蚊に刺されませんでした。
星空を携帯におさめたい方は携帯でナイトモードの撮影の仕方を予習しておくとスムーズかもしれません。

It was really great. I felt at ease participating thanks to the guide's careful instructions. Walking through the jungle was a bit thrilling, but it was exciting as well. The night sky from the beach was filled with countless stars, and I was truly moved. Along the way, I encountered various creatures and had an extraordinary experience. This is definitely a tour you should experience when you go to Iriomote!

A clear and calm night before the typhoon approached.
We were picked up by the hotel, and there were two other groups, making a total of six people including our guide, Naoto.
As soon as we entered the jungle after getting out of the car, we saw a coconut crab! This was a fantastic start. We saw so many coconut crabs, and I was very satisfied to see various creatures like the habu snake, crabs, and scorpions.
When we reached the coast, the starry sky was breathtaking! This was truly moving!
Naoto's guidance was enjoyable, and we had a wonderful experience.
台風が近づく前で晴れて静かな夜。
ホテルに迎えに来てもらえて他に二組４人ガイドのなおとさんもいれて６人でした。
車を降りてジャングルに入ってすぐにヤシガニ！！これは素晴らしいスタートでした。ヤシガニはこんなに居るの？って程沢山見れたし、ハブ、カニ、サソリ色々観れて大満足。
海岸に出ると満天の星空！！これは感動！！

On the day, I was worried because there were clouds, but they took that into consideration and conducted the shoot accordingly. While waiting for the clouds to clear, they provided explanations about the stars, so I never felt bored. The photos turned out great, capturing the Milky Way beautifully, and I am very satisfied.

I was worried since it was my first night tour, but our guide, Yuri, was kind and explained everything, making it easy for us seniors to participate with peace of mind. It was thrilling to walk through the pitch-black forest, and we even encountered two coconut crabs. The weather was perfect, and we could see a sky full of stars without a single cloud. There were so many stars that I couldn't even recognize the constellations. Participating in the tour created wonderful memories for me. I was also grateful for the photos that were taken and sent to us. Thank you for your hospitality.

I had visited Ishigaki Island several times, but participating in this tour made this trip the most enjoyable memory. I was able to see a coconut crab, the weather was great, and I got to see the Milky Way, creating wonderful family memories. The guide was particularly skilled at storytelling, starting with information about the population of Ishigaki Island and providing detailed information about the surrounding islands. My fifth-grade daughter loves living creatures, and since we could also enjoy stargazing together, we decided to participate. We were fortunate with the weather and were able to see a night sky filled with stars that we can't see in the city. We also got to see a coconut crab properly. It became a wonderful memory of Ishigaki Island!

During the tour, there was a coconut crab deep in the rocks, but it quickly ran away, so I gave up on taking a photo. However, later on, the guide managed to catch one, allowing me to observe it closely!
ツアー中、岩場の奥にヤシガニが居たのですが、すぐに逃げてしまい、写真は諦めていました。ですがその後、ガイドの人が捕まえてくれたためじっくり観察することができました!
If the number of people on the tour is large, there may not be enough flashlights provided, so it might be a good idea to bring your own.
ツアーの人数が多いと配布される懐中電灯の数が足りなくなる事があるので持参していくと良いかもしれません。

I participated with my wife. The large full moon was very beautiful, and the sea and jungle illuminated by the moonlight were stunning. Thanks to the bright moon, the forest paths and the shoreline were softly lit, allowing us to walk in nature without feeling a sense of unease, which was impressive.
As I listened closely, I could hear the sounds of insects and the calls of owls, and spending time enveloped in a silence that can't be experienced in the city was truly luxurious.
The guide carefully explained about the creatures and plants, and being able to observe hermit crabs and nocturnal animals up close was a great memory. It was heartwarming to see small children eagerly searching for creatures and asking questions.
Although I couldn't fully enjoy the starry sky, I think experiencing the unique nighttime atmosphere created by the full moon was a one-of-a-kind experience of this tour. Next time, I want to aim for the new moon to see a sky full of stars.

大きな満月がとても美しく、月明かりに照らされた海とジャングルがとても美しかったです。
明るい月のおかげで懐中電灯を使わなくても森の小道や波打ち際がほんのり照らされ、大自然の中を歩いているのに不思議と心細さを感じないのも印象的でした。
耳を澄ませると、虫の声やフクロウの鳴き声が聞こえ、都会では味わえない静寂に包まれながら過ごす時間は本当に贅沢でした。
ガイドさんが生き物や植物のことを丁寧に説明してくださり、ヤドカリや夜行性の生き物を間近で観察できたのも良い思い出です。
小さい子も熱心に生き物を探したり質問していて微笑ましかったです。
星空を思う存分楽しむことはできませんでしたが、代わりに満月が作り出す独特な夜の雰囲気を味わえたのは、このツアーならではの体験だったと思います。
次は新月のタイミングを狙って満天の星を見に来たいです。

I was recommended by a friend who moved to Ishigaki Island, and my husband and I participated together. I was a bit scared because I'm not good with bugs, but I was able to enjoy it while feeling excited with the guide and everyone else. Watching the guide bravely trying to catch a coconut crab gave me a lot of courage. I kept saying "gross, gross!!!" but then I reflected that I must seem grosser to the bugs. (laughs)
The full moon seen in a place away from the city lights was incredibly beautiful, and looking at the calm sea and the full moon felt like it purified my heart, making it a particularly memorable moment during the trip.
Although we had to drive far from the city, the guide shared many stories about Ishigaki Island and the surrounding islands, so the time flew by. I also became interested in visiting Kuroshima and Iriomote Island. It was great to observe many small creatures that are active at night while listening to the sounds of frogs and birds, allowing me to discover a side of Ishigaki Island that I couldn't experience during the daytime sightseeing. 私は虫が苦手なので怖いなーと思っていましたが、ガイドさんや参加している皆さんと一緒だとドキドキしながらも楽しめました。
体を張ってヤシガニを捕まえようとしてくれているガイドさんを見てかなり勇気をもらいました。
キモいキモい！！！ばっかり言ってましたが、虫たちからしたら私の方がキモいよなと反省したりしました。笑
そして街の明かりが届かない場所で見る満月はとても綺麗で、穏やかな海と満月を見ていると心が浄化されたような気がして 旅の中でも特に印象に残るひとときになりました。
市街地から離れた場所までの車移動でしたが、ガイドさんが石垣島や離島の話をたくさんしてくれたのであっという間でした。
黒島や西表島にも行ってみたくなりました。
カエルや鳥の鳴き声を聴きながら夜に活動する小さな生き物たちをたくさん観察できて、昼間の観光では味わえない石垣島の一面を知ることができて良かったです。本当にありがとうございました！

The factory lights are filled with a fantastical feeling. Dining while traveling by bus creates a charming atmosphere as the vibrations make the glasses jingle and clink together. The scenery viewed from the bus offers a different perspective, filled with a sense of the extraordinary. Manually opening and closing the roof of the bus adds to the experience. People walking on the road are also overwhelmed by the sight of the bus. It was truly memorable. Restaurant buses are being introduced in cities outside of Tokyo as well, so I would like to try them in other cities too.

I visited Ishigaki Island for the first time and made a reservation to experience this activity.
I participated with my wife and our lively boys aged 4, 6, and 8. I had been interested in the activities for a while, but I wasn't sure about the typhoon situation. However, since the kids were eager to explore and the weather looked good, we decided to join on the same day!
This time, we were lucky to see various things, and our guides, Yuuki and Ryu, were fantastic!
We could see quite a few stars, but since the full moon was approaching, it wasn't at its peak. However, we were able to see a level of stars that we usually don't get to see.

妻と4.6.8歳のヤンチャクソボウズと参加しました。
以前よりアクティビティは気にはなっていたものの、台風の加減が分からなかったので、子供が探検に行きたいとうるさいのと、天気もいい感じだったので当日予約で参加しました！
今回は運もよく色々なものが見れましたし、ガイドのユウキ君もリュウ君のコンビも最高でした！

It was completely dark without lights, and I walked along a rugged path filled with limestone-like rocks, sweating. I found a large coconut crab and had experiences I had never encountered before. I never expected to see flying flying squirrels four times! I participated hoping to see at least once, and the result exceeded my expectations.
On the round trip from the cable car station to the flying squirrel observation point, I encountered various insects, including the light green giant silk moth, stag beetles, stick insects, and horse cicadas. I even came across the rare thorn stick insect.
On the way back, I also heard the calls of the flying squirrels. It was a tour filled with very enjoyable nature experiences. The night view from Yakoin was beautiful as well.
After the experience, they also sent me photos and videos taken with a night vision scope. There were cute stickers and a can badge as gifts, making for great memories.

ムササビが飛ぶところを4回も見ることが出来るとは、思ってませんでした。1回でも見ることが出来ればと思って参加。結果は、期待以上の回数を見ることが出来ました。
ケーブルカーの下車駅からムササビ観察ポイントの往復の道すがらでは、さまざまな昆虫にも出会いました。薄いミドリのオオミズアオ、コクワガタ、ナナフシ、ウマオイ、などなど。珍しいトゲナナフシにも出会いました。
帰り道では、ムササビの鳴き声も聞きました。
とても楽しい自然体験が満載ツアーでした。
薬王院から見た夜景もキレイでした。
体験後、暗視スコープで撮影した写真と動画も送ってくださいました。
かわいいステッカーと缶バッジのプレゼントもあり、いい思い出になりました。
