I received a call the day before regarding the meeting time, and the service was very attentive from the pick-up to the tour on the day itself. The tour guide was warm and made it enjoyable to search for living creatures together. They also shared a lot of interesting facts. Iriomote Island is amazing! I was able to encounter many unique species that can only be found on Iriomote Island. During the participation, I felt that the walking pace was a bit fast, perhaps because I was so engrossed in the creatures and plants. It became such a wonderful memory that time flew by. I wished I had more time. I would love to participate again!
前日に集合時間の電話がきて、送迎、当日のツアーまでとても丁寧な対応でした。ツアーのガイドさんも温かみのあるガイドさんで一緒に楽しく生物を探すことができました。豆知識もたくさん教えてくれました。西表島はすごいですね！！西表島ならではの生物にたくさん出会うことができました。参加時、少し歩くペースが早いように感じました。生き物や植物に夢中になっていたからですかね。それくらい時間が早く過ぎる素敵な思い出になりました。もっと時間が欲しかったです。また参加したいです！
チクチクする植物が生えているので長袖長ズボンが必須だと思います。また、カメラがあるとたくさん思い出に残せるので良いと思います！虫除けスプレーや靴は貸してくれました。

Romantic stargazing. The starry sky we looked up at together in the quiet forest with my loved one became an unforgettable memory. The sight of the Milky Way spreading above us was so beautiful that words cannot express it, and my heart fluttered every time a shooting star passed by. I made a last-minute reservation since I had no plans for the evening, and they kindly accepted me even at the last minute. I saw various creatures, and the guide taught me so many things that I would never have known on my own, which was really fun. I participated with the goal of seeing coconut crabs, and I was constantly impressed by our guide Yuri's knowledge of biology, hospitality, and English skills. Fortunately, the weather was clear, and we were able to enjoy a perfect starry sky, so he took photos of each group. During the night tour, he provided explanations about various plants and creatures along the way, which was very enjoyable. I couldn't find a coconut crab myself, but another group spotted one, and we were lucky enough to see two! I had a wonderful time, thank you!

After gathering, I felt a thrill just heading north on the pitch-black road. Our guide, Ryoma, confidently said, "I can't guarantee you'll see the stars since it's up to nature, but I will definitely show you the coconut crabs!" He was quite impressive. The search for coconut crabs turned into an exciting exploration of the dark forest for the kids. Of course, the adults were excited too. Surprisingly, we couldn't find the coconut crabs for a while, and while we were looking at the stars, Ryoma got hurt while searching for them. My sons seemed to be inspired by Ryoma's adventurous spirit and charming stories, and they said it was incredibly fun when we got back. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

Jiro, our guide, took us on a night tour. We were able to see coconut crabs and a beautiful starry sky. Seeing the coconut crabs in person was impressive; they were very large, and I was shocked when he told us that there are even bigger ones. The starry sky was also stunning. It was beautiful even with the moonlight, but I heard that it would be even better during a new moon or when the moon hasn't risen, so I thought I would like to try it again somewhere else.

Entering the pitch-black jungle can be daunting since you never know what might come out, but I'm glad I had the opportunity to experience this tour. Since it's wildlife we're dealing with, it depends on luck, but it seems we were fortunate to see an owl and a turtle this time. The guide was able to spot and introduce creatures that I likely wouldn't have found on my own. The moon was out, and perhaps due to its position, we could see quite a few stars. However, it seemed a bit challenging to capture the beautiful starry sky in photos. The two guide brothers were friendly, and it seemed like they were enjoying themselves as well, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
真っ暗なジャングルの中に入っていくのは何が出てくるかわからないし、躊躇してしまいますが、このようなツアーで体験できてよかったです。
野生生物が相手なので運によりますが、今回はフクロウ、カメなどが見れて当たりだったようです。自分では見つけられないであろう生き物をガイドさんが見つけて紹介してくれました。
月が出ていましたが、位置が良かったのかまぁまぁ星は見れました。
星空はきれいに写真に残すのは少し難しそうでした。
ガイドのお兄さん二人がフレンドリーな方で、ガイドさん自身も楽しんでいるようで、楽しめました。

We participated as a family of four.
It took about 40 minutes to reach our destination from the meeting point.
We were lent flashlights and rubber boots, and we explored the jungle. Perhaps because it had just rained, we saw many creatures, including coconut crabs.
We reached the coast, where we could see the starry sky and even spotted shooting stars.

A clear and calm night before the typhoon approached.
We were picked up by the hotel, and there were two other groups, making a total of six people including our guide, Naoto.
As soon as we entered the jungle after getting out of the car, we saw a coconut crab! This was a fantastic start. We saw so many coconut crabs, and I was very satisfied to see various creatures like the habu snake, crabs, and scorpions.
When we reached the coast, the starry sky was breathtaking! This was truly moving!
Naoto's guidance was enjoyable, and we had a wonderful experience.
台風が近づく前で晴れて静かな夜。
ホテルに迎えに来てもらえて他に二組４人ガイドのなおとさんもいれて６人でした。
車を降りてジャングルに入ってすぐにヤシガニ！！これは素晴らしいスタートでした。ヤシガニはこんなに居るの？って程沢山見れたし、ハブ、カニ、サソリ色々観れて大満足。

I was worried since it was my first night tour, but our guide, Yuri, was kind and explained everything, making it easy for us seniors to participate with peace of mind. It was thrilling to walk through the pitch-black forest, and we even encountered two coconut crabs. The weather was perfect, and we could see a sky full of stars without a single cloud. There were so many stars that I couldn't even recognize the constellations. Participating in the tour created wonderful memories for me. I had visited Ishigaki Island several times, but participating in this tour made this trip the most enjoyable memory. I was able to see a coconut crab, the weather was great, and I got to see the Milky Way, creating wonderful family memories. We were fortunate with the weather and were able to see a night sky filled with stars that we can't see in the city. We also got to see a coconut crab properly. During the tour, there was a coconut crab deep in the rocks, but it quickly ran away, so I gave up on taking a photo. However, later on, the guide managed to catch one, allowing me to observe it closely!
ツアー中、岩場の奥にヤシガニが居たのですが、すぐに逃げてしまい、写真は諦めていました。ですがその後、ガイドの人が捕まえてくれたためじっくり観察することができました!

I participated with my wife. The large full moon was very beautiful, and the sea and jungle illuminated by the moonlight were stunning. Thanks to the bright moon, the forest paths and the shoreline were softly lit, allowing us to walk in nature without feeling a sense of unease, which was impressive.
As I listened closely, I could hear the sounds of insects and the calls of owls, and spending time enveloped in a silence that can't be experienced in the city was truly luxurious.
The guide carefully explained about the creatures and plants, and being able to observe hermit crabs and nocturnal animals up close was a great memory. It was heartwarming to see small children eagerly searching for creatures and asking questions.
Although I couldn't fully enjoy the starry sky, I think experiencing the unique nighttime atmosphere created by the full moon was a one-of-a-kind experience of this tour. Next time, I want to aim for the new moon to see a sky full of stars.

耳を澄ませると、虫の声やフクロウの鳴き声が聞こえ、都会では味わえない静寂に包まれながら過ごす時間は本当に贅沢でした。
ガイドさんが生き物や植物のことを丁寧に説明してくださり、ヤドカリや夜行性の生き物を間近で観察できたのも良い思い出です。
小さい子も熱心に生き物を探したり質問していて微笑ましかったです。
星空を思う存分楽しむことはできませんでしたが、代わりに満月が作り出す独特な夜の雰囲気を味わえたのは、このツアーならではの体験だったと思います。
次は新月のタイミングを狙って満天の星を見に来たいです。
