I participated in stargazing and a night safari on Ishigaki Island. I was impressed by the polite guidance and explanations. Since it was winter, they worked hard to find the coconut crab, which is quite rare. In the end, we didn't see it, but we were able to see many large hermit crabs that you can't find on the mainland, as well as some incredibly small ones. Although it was only about two hours, it felt like no time at all.

The most impressive moment was when we were in the area where the owls (specifically the ear owl) that only inhabit the island are found. While I was driving normally, the guide suddenly pointed and said, "Look, an owl!" When I looked in the direction he was pointing, I was amazed to see an owl sitting on a power line. I thought it was incredible that he spotted it, especially since it was completely dark with no streetlights around. Thank you very much! If I have the chance to go to Ishigaki Island again, I would definitely like to participate once more.

丁寧な案内と説明には感動しました。
冬場なのでなかなか見つからないヤシガニを一生懸命にさがしてくれました。
結局は見れませんでしたが　本土では見られない大きなやどかりや逆に物凄く
小さなヤドカリやらいっぱいみられて二時間ほどでしたが　あっという間でした。一番感動したのは、島にしか生息しないふくろう（みみずく）がいる辺り
普通に車を運転していたのに　あっふくろうと言って　ガイドさんの指刺す方向を見たら　びっくり！電線の上にふくろうが　普通に車うんてしていてしかも辺りは外灯もなく真っ暗の中で良く見つけたのものだと思いました。有難うございました。また　石垣島に行くことがあれば　是非もう一度参加したいと思います。

It was possible to cancel even at the meeting time on the night of the event. The weather was not great, but since the date was limited, I decided to go ahead with it! The guide was friendly and kind. However, I think those who really want to see the stars or various plants should consider the timing before participating.

I had to change the pickup location suddenly around 4:30 PM on the day of the tour, but they kindly accommodated my request. During the drive to and from the location, the guide found owls and snakes, making the journey enjoyable. We were blessed with good weather and got to see a beautiful starry sky and coconut crabs, making it a very satisfying tour. Thank you!

The starry sky and night view at Banna Park were absolutely wonderful, and I could have watched them forever. During my stroll along Ohama Beach, I was lucky enough to see bats, frogs, hermit crabs, and even coconut crabs. The guide was very personable, sharing various information and even making light jokes, which made the experience even better.

バンナ公園で見る星空も夜景もとっても素敵で、いつまでも見ていられそうでした。大浜海岸の散策ではコウモリ、カエル、ヤドカリにヤシガニまで見ることができて幸運でした。ガイドのお兄さんもいろんな情報を話してくれたり、軽く冗談を交えてくれたりと大変好感の持てる方で良かったです。

Unfortunately, the weather was cloudy, and we couldn't see the starry sky at the observation deck, which was disappointing. Next time, I want to see a sky full of stars on a clear day.

In the end, I felt uneasy about the thickness of the clouds and requested to change the date, but they kindly accepted my request. For those who definitely want to see the stars, you can apply without hesitation and feel assured. Unfortunately, I couldn't see the Southern Cross, but walking in the pitch dark nature, relying on a flashlight, is an experience that you can't easily have alone. I participated with a focus on the stars, but I also enjoyed the wildlife, and I highly recommend it.

I couldn't see anything in the reviews! However, I participated in various tours in Hokkaido, so I understand that the chances of encountering wildlife are low. Still, the experience of walking through the jungle on Iriomote Island was indeed difficult without a guide, but I was able to catch glimpses of various ecosystems. I was able to see the starry sky during the tour, so I recommend participating during the new moon.

We were picked up at the hotel and arrived at the stargazing spot in the dark. It was a cloudy day during the rainy season, but we were able to observe Orion and surrounding stars through the gaps in the clouds. The guide shared the names of the stars and stories from Greek mythology. After that, we moved to the starting point of the night jungle tour, progressing along a narrow path overgrown with vegetation that is rarely seen in the mainland. While searching for wildlife and insects, we only managed to find a hermit crab, a spider, a gecko, and a sand crab, as it was winter. The knowledgeable guide provided information about the names and characteristics of the plants we encountered, and we could also ask about different plants and phenomena that can be seen in other seasons, making me want to visit again in a different season. The day's temperatures were a high of 18°C and a low of 13°C, but it was cold with the north wind when we went out to sea. However, in the jungle, walking around made it feel just right even with a light jacket. They provided us with rubber boots, so we felt secure walking through puddles in the jungle and along the beach.

その後はナイトジャングルツアーの出発地点まで移動、
「内地」ではなかなか目にすることの無い草木の茂った細道を進みます。
野生動物や昆虫を探しながら進みますが、さすがに冬の時期で発見できたのは「ヤドカリ」「蜘蛛」「ヤモリ」「スナガニ」、あとは潮だまりの魚たちだけでした。
博識なガイドさんがその場その場で植物の名前や知識を教えて下さることはもちろん、違う季節に見られる動植物や現象についても伺うことができ、また是非違う季節にも訪れたいと思いました。
服装としては最高気温18℃、最低気温13℃の一日でしたが海に出ると北風が冷たく寒かったですが、ジャングルの中では歩いていることもあり羽織があっても丁度よく感じる程度で、足元は長靴をお貸し頂けるのでジャングルないの水溜まりや海辺も安心でした。

The stars viewed from a completely dark place without any streetlights were just like a planetarium. I participated with my elderly parents. The young guide was enthusiastic and made it enjoyable. Since it was a shared tour, there were two male solo travelers and one female foreign guest, but thanks to the guide, we all bonded well. The transportation service was also a deciding factor for me. The team we joined originally had a reservation for seven people, but due to the weather not being suitable for stargazing, everyone canceled, and it was just me and my two sons who participated. However, the guide was incredibly knowledgeable and even found and caught a coconut crab to show us. He was very agile and caught many creatures to show us.

The guide was lively and caught a lot of creatures, which made my first-grade son very happy! Although we couldn't see the stars, I was glad we didn't cancel.

The guide was truly great, and I heard that the tour company has other plans, so when I looked it up, I was surprised to see that all the ratings on Veltra were high. I would like to join other tours here the next time I come to Ishigaki Island!

On the day, I was happy that the weather was perfect, but when the staff who came to pick us up arrived, they first mentioned that due to the full moon, it would be difficult to see the stars, and that cancellation was possible. I wanted to explore at night, so of course, I decided to participate. It was a place I wouldn't have gone to on my own, as I thought it might be a bit scary, but the staff worked hard to show us various creatures, and we were able to enjoy seeing the night wildlife. Thank you very much.

My long-held wish came true, and I was able to go!

I participated in early November, and it was a warm night, but it's better to take precautions against the cold. I was captivated by the captain's wonderful narration, and he stopped the boat at the highlights, allowing us to hear stories from previous passengers. I had a great time.

The boat does sway, so taking photos was quite difficult... With my skills, I could only manage to take a few.

I was grateful that they came to pick me up at the hotel. After driving for a while from the city, we took a dark road with no people. Once we passed through a narrow jungle path, we arrived at the local exploration site! We searched for wildlife along the rocky coastline. Unlike during the day, the tranquility and the sound of the waves were pleasant. Then, we discovered a coconut crab! Its purple shell was mysterious! After exploring the coast, we moved to a spot for stargazing. Although the moonlight was a bit bright, the sky was filled with stars welcoming us. Fortunately, we even saw a shooting star. I was able to spend a happy time.

I thoroughly enjoyed the night in Ishigaki Island. We set off at 8 PM and ran through the darkness, which felt mysterious. The atmosphere along the coastline at night was different from during the day, and we encountered a coconut crab and a hermit crab that can only be seen at night. After that, we went to an observatory with a great view, where the moonlight was a bit bright, but the starry sky was magnificent. My husband and daughter were thrilled to see shooting stars. Listening to the sound of owls, the night view was beautiful as well.

Unfortunately, the weather was rainy on the first day, so we started with the expectation of not seeing the stars. The guide also mentioned that it might not be good because of the clouds, but when we arrived at the stargazing point, we were able to see a magnificent starry sky spread out before us. I thought to myself, "This is what a perfect starry sky looks like." We were also able to see several shooting stars, which was moving. あいにく1日雨が降ったりやんだりの天気だったので、星は諦めてのスタートでした。ガイドさんも雲が出てるからダメかなぁと言っていましたが、星空ポイントまで来るとなんと見事な星空が空一面に見る事が出来ました。満点の星空ってこーゆう事を言うんだなって思ったほどです。流れ星も何個も見る事ができ感動しました。他にフクロウやコウモリ、ヤシガニ、ヤドカリも見る事が出来とても楽しくツアーに参加することが出来ました。ありがとうございました。

Exploring the subtropical region at night was exciting. The plants and creatures I saw were unlike anything I had ever encountered, and the starry sky was so vast that it was almost overwhelming. It was all a first-time experience for me. I also appreciated the daytime activities, and the guide's stories were fascinating, especially about life on Ishigaki Island. All the guides were very kind, thank you. Additionally, I heard that a new location will be opening in Miyako Island, so I would definitely like to visit that as well.

夜の亜熱帯地方を探検するというだけでもワクワクしました。見たこともない植物や生物、何が何だかわからないぐらい辺り一面の星空。
