The tour guides kept us entertained with many fun stories during both the outbound and return trips, and I learned a lot of things I didn't know, making it an enjoyable experience from start to finish. Unfortunately, the weather was cloudy this time, so we couldn't see the starry sky, but I hope to see many stars next time I participate. The other highlight, the coconut crab, was diligently found by the tour guides, and we were able to take pictures together. Before going, I couldn't imagine what it would be like and was somewhat skeptical, but once I was taken to the site and went on the adventure, it was even more enjoyable than I had imagined, and I had a truly valuable experience. Thank you to all the staff.
ツアーの担当者の方々は、行きも帰りも車内の中で楽しい話をたくさんしてくださり、知らなかったこともたくさん聞けて最初から最後まで盛りだくさんに楽しませていただきました。
今回は、天気が曇りだったので残念ながら星空は観ることが出来ませんでしたが、次回参加した時には星空がたくさん観れたら嬉しいなと思っています。
もう一つの目玉のヤシガニはツアーの担当者の方々が一生懸命見つけてくださり一緒に写真を撮ることも出来ました。
行く前はどんな感じか想像もつかず半信半疑でしたが、実際に現地に連れて行ってもらい冒険をしてみたら想像以上に楽しく大変貴重な体験をさせていただきました。
スタッフの皆様、ありがとうございました。
スタッフの皆さんとても親切で楽しませてくださるので何も心配せずに参加して大丈夫ですよ。本当にぜひぜひオススメしたいツアーです。

It was a fun three hours! During the drive, the guide shared a lot of interesting facts about Ishigaki Island, so I was never bored until the end. The tour itself can be affected by the weather and luck on the day, but this time we were fortunate to have clear skies and see a beautiful starry night.
楽しい3時間でした！車での移動時間もガイドさんが石垣島豆知識をたくさんお話してくれたので最後まで飽きることなくすごせました。ツアー自体は当日の天気と運に左右されますが、今回は運良く晴れて綺麗な星空をみることができました。
I think it would be good to have something woven if the wind blows and it feels chilly in winter.
冬場は風が吹くと肌寒く感じると思うので、何か織るものがあったら良いと思います

I was a bit anxious about traveling alone as a university student, but the guide was very kind, and I was fortunate to have great fellow tour participants, which made the tour enjoyable from start to finish.
In winter, the chance of seeing a coconut crab is said to be 30%, so I wasn't able to see one, but I was satisfied with the beautiful starry sky!

I had a truly valuable experience kayaking in the real darkness and quiet after sunset. The darkness made the bioluminescent plankton look beautiful, as I could barely see a few meters ahead. In that peaceful space, the only sounds were the water splashing from the kayak and the calls of owls, allowing me to fully enjoy nature in a way that is not possible in the city.
They provided detailed explanations about constellations, mangroves, and paddling techniques, and the pace allowed us to really appreciate nature, which was great. Thank you very much.
It was cloudy, so I couldn't see the stars, giving it a star rating of -1, but I would like to try again next time.

I joined the tour after my dad, who is around retirement age, decided to quit. Although we couldn't see the coconut crabs or the starry sky on this tour, it was surprisingly fun and a bit wild, and I was very satisfied. We explored the bushes and rocky areas, searching for animals.
At the beach, when we turned off the lights, experiencing the darkness that we usually can't feel was also a fun memory. Above all, the guide was great, explaining various things and even taking photos for us, making it a fun and quick tour.

今回のツアーでは、ヤシガニや星空を観ることは出来なかったのですが、思った以上に楽しくちょっとワイルドなツアーで大変満足しました。茂みや岩場を探索し動物達を探しました。

Since it was winter, I was worried about whether we would see any wildlife, but I was glad to see various creatures like crabs, hermit crabs, and spiders. Personally, I love plants, so I was excited to see the leaves that I usually see as houseplants on Honshu thriving in their natural habitat. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great this time, so I want to have a chance to see the starry sky again!

Unfortunately, the weather on the day of our visit was bad, and we couldn't see the stars at all. However, we were able to find many creatures, and the kids were very excited. We were lucky to find two snakes that are said to be very rare. We also saw four coconut crabs. But what excited me the most was the taro plant; I was moved and thought, "It's Totoro!" The journey was more challenging than I expected, and I got tired, but it became a wonderful memory. During our travels, the guide taught us various things, which was very educational.

I was looking forward to the night tour. However, it rained, which made me a bit anxious. Fortunately, it wasn't cold, and there were some creatures that came out because of the rain, so I was able to enjoy it. Next time, I would like to experience a sunny tour as well!

The day before was really cold, and I was wondering how it would turn out, but on the day of the tour, the cold eased a bit, and I was able to participate in the night tour!
The tour truly gives you the thrill of moving through the jungle and reaching the sea. We searched for the coconut crab with everyone in the group, but... we ended up not finding any. However, it was fun to meet the coconut crab that another group found.
In winter, it's cold, and the chances of seeing coconut crabs are low, but I think the joy of searching with just one flashlight is something you can't experience often.
The stories from the tour guides were enjoyable, and I learned about the lives of the residents of Ishigaki Island and their recommended places. I rated it four stars because I want to participate again in the summer when there are lots of coconut crabs out! I'll get my revenge!!!

First of all, thank you to the three guides for your assistance! I was able to enjoy the excitement of being in nature! You picked me up at the hotel on time, and the return transfer was smooth as well. The content of the tour was honestly a bit underwhelming compared to my expectations! While we were shown some interesting places, it was relatively cold, and I didn't encounter many living creatures. Additionally, it was cloudy, so there were no stars at all. I participated because I wanted to see the starry sky. On the day of the event, it was cloudy, and I thought there might be only a 10% chance of seeing the stars, but luckily, the clouds cleared, and I was able to see shooting stars!
As we moved through nature (almost a jungle) with just one flashlight, there was a nice thrill, and I felt like an explorer. It seems that in summer, there are more active creatures to see, but even in winter, I was able to discover about five different types.
It was fun to line up with all the participants and search for creatures while shining our lights around.

It was a cold day, so I couldn't meet the coconut crab, but when I looked up at the sky, countless stars were shining. I was overwhelmed by the number of stars that can't be seen in the city; it was an amazing experience. The sheer number of stars made me feel like I was on a jungle adventure, creating memories that I had never experienced before.
This time I came with friends, but I want my family to enjoy this experience when we visit Ishigaki Island again.

I participated with my 3-year-old and 5-year-old children. It was nighttime and drizzling lightly. The kids wore thin long sleeves and raincoats, while the adults wore thin long sleeves with ultra-light down jackets and a thicker long-sleeve sweatshirt. Since we were in Okinawa, I thought it would be fine to dress a bit lighter as we would warm up while walking. By the way, the guide's shorts had an incredibly cute pattern.
Although the weather was bad and we couldn't see the stars, we were still able to discover many animals and plants, which made for a high overall satisfaction. There are limited activities available for a 3-year-old, but I recommend this tour. However, I think it would be tough to carry them, so it's best if they can walk on their own or have a baby carrier.

It was drizzling, and we couldn't see the stars, but that allowed us to thoroughly explore the jungle for creatures during the tour. On the shuttle bus heading to the jungle, the guide provided a lot of explanations, making the time spent very exciting.

When I moved from Ishigaki City to the western tip of the island, I was able to see the starry sky on a cloudy day with light rain at the beach! It's indeed difficult to see coconut crabs in winter, but I had no regrets as I could observe them up close at the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium. I was struggling to find winter activities, but since I was staying on Iriomote Island, I decided to sign up for a night tour. This was a great decision!
It was a night after a light rain during the day, but the weather cleared up, and we were able to see a starry sky with shooting stars. At the viewing spot recommended by our guide, there was nothing obstructing our view, and it was a very soothing experience.
Then, we went on a night jungle tour. We were able to enjoy seeing coconut crabs, crayfish, and tropical plants, with our guide searching for and explaining them to us. I was also amazed by the guide's extensive knowledge! It was a valuable experience to feel connected to nature.
During the car ride, we were able to learn about life on Iriomote Island, making it a meaningful and enjoyable tour. I highly recommend it to anyone staying on Iriomote Island!
冬の季節のアクティビティに悩んでいたところ、せっかく西表島に泊まるということで、夜のツアーに申し込みました。これが大正解！
日中に小雨が降った夜でしたが、お天気が回復して満天の星空、流れ星も見ることができました。ガイドさんご自身がおすすめされている鑑賞スポットで、視界を遮るものがなく、とても癒される時間、場でした。
そして、夜のジャングルツアー。ヤシガニやザリガニ、南国ならではの植物など、ガイドさんが探して説明してくれて、楽しむことができました。ガイドさんの知識の多さにも驚きました！自然を感じる貴重な経験です。
車の中では西表島の生活のことなども伺うことができ、有意義で楽しいツアーで、西表島で宿泊される方には大変おすすめです！

When I participated, there was only the Jungle Night Tour. The guide shared stories about Ishigaki Island and taught us a lot about the local wildlife, which was very educational. It was fun to search for coconut crabs while shining a light up on the cliffs, as they were said to be located higher up. The tour lasted about an hour, and I was able to observe many creatures that I can't see in Honshu, which was really enjoyable. There was also a foreign couple participating, and the guide explained things in simple English, so it seemed like they were having a good time as well.
参加した時はジャングルナイトツアーのみだった。ガイドさんが石垣島についての話や、生き物の知識を教えてくれて大変勉強になった。ヤシガニが岩壁の上の方にいるとのことで、ライトで上の方を照らしながら探すのが楽しかった。1時間ほどのツアーだったが、本州では見られない生き物をたくさん観察できてとても楽しかった。外国人カップルも参加していたが、ガイドさんが簡単な英語で説明しており、本人たちも楽しめていたように感じた。
Since there are areas with a lot of grass, it's recommended to participate in long sleeves and long pants. They can lend you rubber boots, so having socks would also be a good idea.

It was pitch dark and hard to see my feet, and I had some worries about strange creatures suddenly appearing, but our guide Yuya was calm and reassuring, which made me feel incredibly safe. We found the eggs of the Japanese tree frog and peeked into the burrows of the land crabs, spending time like elementary school kids coming home from school, which was fun! I love night trekking, so I enjoyed wandering through the forest. It was great when everyone turned off their lights to gaze at the starry sky together. Next time, I want to find the Southern Cross. Thank you for a wonderful time!
真っ暗で足元が見えずらい、変な生き物が急に出てこないかなどの不安要素はありましたが、ガイドのユウヤさんが落ち着いた様子で案内してくれたので安心感が半端なかったです。モリアオガエルの卵を見つけたり、オカガニの巣穴を覗いてみたり、まるで学校帰りの小学生のような時間を過ごせました笑。夜のトレッキングが好きなので楽しく森を散策できました。星空を見る時、皆んなでライトを消して眺める時間があったのが良かったです。今度は南十字星を見つけたいです。素晴らしい時間をありがとうございました。
If you like trying out your courage, I recommend this! Also, be careful if you're not fond of bugs, as there are quite a few large ones around.

Since it's winter, I thought there might not be any coconut crabs around and that the stars might not be visible due to the clouds. However, we discovered a sky full of stars and found coconut crabs, while learning about other crabs, rare plants, and various things. It turned out to be a really enjoyable time! The kids were already having fun the moment we entered the jungle, and it became a wonderful memory.
冬なので、ヤシガニもいないかも？曇りが多くて星みえないかも？と思っていましたが、満天の星空にヤシガニも発見してもらって、ほかのカニや珍しい植物やいろいろな事を教えてもらいながらとっても楽しい時間になりました！
