The weather was nice, and it was really great.
It's important to confirm the bus schedule to the port on-site.
It's a good idea to prepare rain gear in case of sudden downpours.

天気も良く、すごくよかったです。
帰りの港までのバス便は現地でしっかり確認が必要です。
突然のスコールに備えて雨具は準備しておいた方がいいです。

I made a reservation and participated a week ago. Since it was a weekday, there weren't many other participants, and I was able to enjoy it at a leisurely pace.

The walking time on Yufu Island was about an hour, with no elevation changes, which was just right. I participated with my husband, who is not good at group activities, but the guides on the boat, the bus, and the water buffalo were all very skilled at storytelling, so we were never bored and had a great time.

On the day we participated, the ferry from Ishigaki to Iriomote Island offered an upgrade for 500 yen, allowing us to enjoy the view from the second floor and see the crew operating the vessel, which was very satisfying.

Next time I come, I would like to participate in other tours as well.

一週間前に予約して参加しました。平日でしたので他の参加者の方も多くなくゆったり楽しめました。
歩くのは由布島の自由時間1時間程度で、高低差もなくちょうど良かったです。
集団での行動が苦手な旦那と参加していましたが、船のガイドさんやバスのガイドさん、水牛のガイドさん皆さんお話が上手で全く飽きることなく楽しめました。

私たちの参加した日は、石垣〜西表島の船が500円で席をグレードアップできるタイプで、2階からの景色や操縦しているクルーの方を見ることもできとても満足です。

次回来た際は他のツアーにも参加してみたいと思います。

The bus tour of Iriomote Island and the mangrove cruise allow you to see plants that you wouldn't normally encounter, and the guides provide a lot of explanations about the plants and the animals that inhabit the area, making it very educational.

On Yufu Island, I was able to see water buffalo in the pond and there were places to take photos with them, which was a lot of fun.

Traveling by water buffalo cart is soothing with its leisurely pace.

Due to the schedule, lunch is a bit early, but the bento is delicious, making this a highly recommended tour.

バスでの西表島観光、マングローブ遊覧は普段見ることが出来ない植物を見ることができ、植物のことや生息している動物のことをいろいろ説明してくださるのでとても勉強になります。
由布島では池に入っている水牛を見れたり、水牛と一緒に写真撮影が出来る場所があり楽しむことが出来ました。
水牛車での移動はゆったりとしたペースに癒されます。
スケジュールの関係でお昼が少しだけ早めですがお弁当も美味しくてとてもおすすめのツアーです。

This was the best experience of my trip!!

We participated in a luxurious SUP and snorkeling tour with five people because we wanted to fully enjoy marine activities in Miyako Island.

I hadn't been in the ocean for several years and was anxious about marine activities, but the staff were very supportive, and everyone ended up loving the sea.

<SUP>
We received thorough instructions in the beautiful sea, and everyone was able to enjoy it without falling in. We also took a lot of stunning photos.

<Snorkeling>
Some members had difficulty breathing through their mouths, but with appropriate breaks and careful instructions, we were able to enjoy it. The staff worked hard to find sea turtles, and we were able to encounter them that day!!

<Overall>
The staff treated us kindly with just the right level of warmth, making it a very good tour. When I asked for recommendations for lunch, they told us about a really delicious place. I would like to participate in another tour next time.

今回の旅で一番最高な経験でした！！

宮古島でマリンアクティビティを思いっきり楽しみたいということで、豪華なSUP+シュノーケリングツアーに5名で参加しました。

数年海に入っておらず、マリンアクティビティが不安でしたが、スタッフの皆さんの対応が手厚くみんな海が大好きになりました。

<シュノーケリング>
口呼吸が苦手なメンバーもいたのですが、適度な休憩時間や丁寧なレクチャーで楽しめました。
スタッフさんが一生懸命ウミガメを探していただき、当日出会えることができました！！

<全体を通して>
スタッフさんが、適度な温度感で優しく接してくれて非常に良いツアーでした。おすすめのお昼ご飯を聞いたらすごく美味しいところを教えてくださいました。今度また別のツアーに参加したいと思います。

In the morning, we had a snorkeling experience at Balas Island where we encountered a sea turtle swimming close to us—a truly precious experience! In the afternoon, we canoed through the mangroves and tropical plants, culminating in canyoning at the waterfall. Every moment was extraordinary and unforgettable. Additionally, Kengo's guide about Iriomote Island was very interesting, making the travel time enjoyable. Thanks to this, our long-awaited Iriomote Island tour turned out to be amazing.

午前のバラス島でのシュノーケリングでは、浅瀬でウミガメに遭遇、自分達の近くをウミガメが泳ぐ‼️といった貴重な体験を。午後はマングローブ、南国の植物たちの間をカヌーで進み、ゴールの滝までキャニオニング。どこを切り取っても非日常で忘れられない体験ができました。そのうえケンゴさんの西表島に関するガイドがとても興味深く…移動時間も楽しく過ごせました。おかげさまで念願の西表島ツアーが最高なものとなりました。

I participated in a mangrove kayaking and snorkeling tour at Barasu Island. The day before the tour, I received a confirmation call, and on the day of the tour, they picked me up from my hotel and took me to the port. I met the other participants and our guide, Yoshi, and we started with the mangrove tour. During the bus ride, Yoshi shared a lot of information about Iriomote Island, which made the travel time exciting.

Before the mangrove tour, we received a thorough briefing on how to paddle the kayak, allowing us to enjoy the experience very safely! We were able to feel the negative ions while being surrounded by waterfalls and forests. After a lunch break, we headed to Barasu Island for snorkeling in the afternoon. Here too, Yoshi and the staff provided great support, allowing us to explore the beautiful sea safely and create wonderful summer memories. Additionally, throughout the tour, Yoshi took photos for us, so we could keep tangible memories (he sends them via LINE after the tour). The tour provided value beyond the price, and I was very satisfied with the experience.

マングローブカヤックとバラス島のシュノーケリングツアーに参加しました。
ツアー参加前日に事前の確認電話があり、当日は宿泊ホテルまで迎えに来ていただき港に移動。
一緒にツアーに参加するメンバーと担当のヨシさんと合流し、まずはマングローブツアーへ。
バスの移動中はヨシさんが西表島の情報などを沢山教えていただき、移動時間からワクワクでした。
マングローブツアーに参加前は丁寧にカヤックの漕ぎ方をレクチャーいただき、非常に安全に楽しめました！滝と森林に触れ、マイナスイオンを沢山感じることができました。その後、昼食休憩を取り、午後はバラス島シュノーケリングへ。ここでもヨシさん等スタッフの方々がサポートしてくださったのでとても安全に綺麗な海を散策することができ、良い夏の思い出ができました。また、どのツアー中もヨシさんが写真を撮ってくださるので、形としても思い出に残すことができました。(ツアー後、LINEで送ってくださります)値段以上の価値を提供いただきとても満足のツアーでした。

The weather was favorable, and I didn't have to wear rain gear even once. There were wooden bridges and stairs without handrails, so it's best to have proper equipment like hiking boots. Also, since you need to grab onto things while climbing, gloves are necessary.

There are many guides available, but I think they group participants based on their age and climbing experience. Since there were many older participants, we were able to climb at a slow pace, and everyone was able to make the round trip to Jomon Sugi without dropping out. Along the way, we took a lot of photos, and we got some great family pictures. Thank you very much.

お天気にも恵まれて､一度もレインウェアを着ることなかったです。手すりのない木の橋や階段があり､登山靴など装備はしっかりした方がいいです。また､掴めるものは掴んで登るのでグローブは必要です。
ガイドさんはたくさんおられますが、そのグループの参加者の年齢や登山経験など考えて､グループ分けされてガイドさんがつかれるのだと思います。年齢高めの人が多かったので、ゆっくりペースで登ってもらえたので、脱落することなく全員縄文杉まで往復できました。途中､たくさん写真も撮ってもらいました。良い家族写真が撮れました。ありがとうございました。

I had no mountain climbing experience and was anxious about participating alone, but the guide managed the pace and breaks appropriately, sharing stories about the plants and history along the way, which made the trekking enjoyable! Even as a solo participant, I bonded with others in the group while walking and chatting, and by the end, we became close enough to take a commemorative photo together! When I finally faced Jomon Sugi after walking for nearly five hours, I was moved as I reflected on its long history! The scenery along the way was beautiful, with the clear flow of the river, moss-covered trees, dripping droplets, and the miraculous sight of Yakushima deer; everything was captivating and energized me despite my fatigue. There were parts of the suspension bridge without handrails, which made me a bit anxious as someone with a fear of heights, but overcoming that made me feel a little stronger! At first, I thought the walking pace might be a bit fast, but thanks to that, I was able to take my time for photos with Jomon Sugi, and we had proper breaks, making for a well-paced itinerary! I participated in late August, and the trees were lush, providing plenty of shade, so I didn't have to worry much about sunburn. We could refill our water bottles with natural water from Yakushima several times along the way, which was helpful for wetting towels and staying hydrated. However, since some participants did retire along the way, I think it's best to join in good physical condition. I would like to challenge myself again!

登山経験が無く、1人参加だったため辿り着けるか不安でしたが、ガイドさんが適切にペース配分や休憩をとってくれて、道中で草木や歴史の話もしてもらいつつ、楽しんでトレッキングに参加できました！
1人参加でも同じグループの皆さんと歩きながら話しつつ絆が生まれ、最後には一緒に記念撮影する位仲良くなりました！5時間近く歩いて縄文杉と対面できた時は、長い歴史に思いを馳せて感動しました！！途中に見える景色はどれも美しく、清らかな川の流れ、苔むす木々や滴る雫、奇跡的に会えたヤクシカ、木陰から差す光まで、どれも魅力的で歩き疲れた私を元気づけてくれました。途中の吊り橋は手すりが無い場所もあって、高所恐怖症の私は少しうろたえましたが、それも乗り越えて少し強くなれた気がします！
最初は少し歩くペースが早いかも…と思いましたがおかげで縄文杉とゆっくり写真が撮れましたし、休憩もしっかりとって、メリハリある工程でした！8月下旬の参加でしたが、木々が生い茂り日陰が多く日焼けの心配もあまり無く、途中屋久島の天然水を何度か汲めるので、タオルを濡らしたり水補給が出来た事も助かりました。ただ途中リタイアされた方もいた為、やはり健脚で健康な状態での参加が望ましいかと思います。私ももう一回位チャレンジしたいです！

The sea was beautiful, and I was able to see turtles up close; it was truly amazing! It was my first time snorkeling, and I didn't know anything, but the explanations were very thorough, so I had a great time! They took many beautiful photos, which became wonderful memories. I also appreciated learning about the sea turtles and coral. Thank you! I would like to request this again when I come back to Miyako Island.

I was impressed by the beauty of the ocean and the first sea turtle I saw! A cool guy kindly taught me snorkeling from scratch, making it enjoyable even for beginners. He gave me poses for photos and recommended spots after the experience. He was very kind, and I definitely want to ask for his help again when I come back to Miyako Island!

I persuaded my daughter to participate. I wasn't confident in my physical strength, so I was considering retiring if necessary, but I still really wanted to see Jomon Sugi. The guide told us that once we reached the end of the trolley path and started climbing, if we couldn't go together, we should retire and head back. I was informed that there wouldn't be a bus after 5 PM. I couldn't keep up with everyone and dropped out at Wilson Stump, but my daughter suggested that since we were already there, we should go to Jomon Sugi together. We took photos at Jomon Sugi and then returned to the entrance of the trolley path where the guide was, and we walked back to the trailhead together, but it wasn't even 4:30 yet. I felt rushed and had a very unpleasant experience.

体力に自信がないのでリタイヤもありで
それでもやっぱり縄文杉を見てみたいと言う思いでした。
ガイドの方からちゃんトロッコ道が、終わり登りになると
一緒に行けないならリタイヤして帰るよう言われました。
帰りのバスが、５時過ぎるとないとの事、
皆さんの足についていけずウィルソン株で外れましたが、娘が、せっかくだから縄文杉に行こうと二人であとから行き
縄文杉で写真を撮ってまたトロッコ道の入り口にガイドさんがいて一緒に登山口まで帰りましたが、まだ４時３０分にもなっていませんでした。
急かされて、大変不快な思いになりました。

I found a tour that goes to Shiratani Unsuikyo for just half a day, starting in the afternoon, since my flight arrived in Yakushima before noon! Most tours start early in the morning, but this one began at noon and the trekking itself took just a little over three hours. I was able to return in the evening. I had a Jomon Sugi tour scheduled for the next day, so it was a great way to warm up my legs.

昼前に屋久島に着く飛行機だったので、午後開始で半日だけで白谷雲水峡に行けるツアーを探していて見つけました！
朝早いツアーが多いですが、昼スタートでトレッキング自体は3時間ちょっと。夕方には帰ってこれました。
翌日に縄文杉ツアーを入れていたので、いい足慣らしができました。

I was able to see 7 sea turtles!
Since there were fewer participants on a weekday, I felt like I got a good deal!
I was also good at taking photos!

Valuables can be kept in the guide's car.
Shinjō Beach has changing rooms with showers.
I recommend going by car!

It was a long 10-hour journey, and I had to be mindful of things like early morning starts and restroom breaks along the way. However, for those who regularly hike or trek, the path was mostly gentle with wooden planks laid out, and the pace of the trek itself was slow. As a result, there was almost no damage during or after the hike, making it an enjoyable trekking experience. Thank you very much.

10時間という長丁場で、早朝からの始動と道中のトイレなどは気をつかいますが、それ以外は日頃、登山やトレッキングをしている人であれば木を敷き詰めた優しい道中がほとんどであり、またトレッキング自体のペースもゆっくりなので、登山中や登山後もダメージがほぼない楽しいトレッキングでした。

Unfortunately, I participated in the tour in the rain. The itinerary included a mangrove tour in Iriomote Island, a bus tour around Iriomote Island, crossing to Yubu Island by water buffalo cart, and free time and lunch on Yubu Island. Although we couldn't see the beautiful ocean due to the rain, I was still able to enjoy the extraordinary scenery and environment. Personally, the water buffalo cart was the most impressive and charming part. Additionally, on Yubu Island, I was able to touch the water buffalo and take pictures. Overall, even though it was rainy, I felt that it was good to participate in this tour because, in Ishigaki, activities are limited when it rains.

あいにくの雨の中でのツアー参加となりました。コースとしては、西表島でのマングローブツアー→西表島のバス観光→由布島に水牛車で渡る→由布島でフリータイム&昼食というコースでした。雨だったので、綺麗な海などは残念ながら見れなかったのですが、非日常の景色や環境はそれなりに楽しめました。個人的には水牛車が一番印象的で風情があります。また、由布島では水牛に触れたり、写真を撮ったりすることができました。総じて、雨ではあったものの、逆に石垣では雨でやることは限られるので、雨だったからこそこのツアーに参加してよかったなと思いました。

You don't need to bring anything in particular; you can participate wearing a swimsuit or a swimsuit with a T-shirt on top. The staff will kindly teach you how to use the fins and snorkel, so even beginners can join the sea turtle tour with peace of mind. On the day of the tour, we were able to see three sea turtles! They also provide a lot of data, so I highly recommend it!!!

I heard that the stars in Miyako Island are beautiful, so I was looking for a place that could take photos of the night sky and found this one! They were very kind to provide details during the preliminary reservation! When I arrived on the day, the night sky was unlike anything I had ever seen, and it was so beautiful!!! The person in charge came and took photos with the stars, and they also taught me about the stars and chatted with me in a friendly manner, which made me very happy! The data arrived two days later, and I really appreciated the quick response! The stars were captured beautifully, and I am very satisfied! I was so happy to see the Milky Way for the first time!!

Despite not knowing if the tour would take place due to the typhoon the day before, I was able to safely go to Mishima and had a wonderful time! The water buffalo tour to Yufu Island was especially impressive, as the water level had risen due to high tide and the typhoon, but the strong water buffalo moved forward with determination.

前日の台風で催行されるか分からないなか、無事三島に行くことができ楽しい時間を過ごすことができました！特に由布島への水牛ツアーは満潮かつ台風で水かさが増しているなか、力強く進む水牛さんに感動しました。

The guide was kind and attentive, and I was able to spend a truly meaningful time as they shared various stories. The tour was also mystical, and I was very satisfied. Thank you very much.

I was worried because it was cloudy, but the stars were beautifully visible. The photographer provided great background music and gave precise instructions, which made for a good shoot.

曇りだったので大丈夫かと心配でしたが、星が綺麗に見えてました。

Thanks to our guide's attentiveness, we were able to take a lot of photos and enjoy a pleasant climb. However, while the group members were nice, the age differences led to a rather leisurely pace, which was a bit disappointing. (Since I don't usually hike, this might be due to the pre-trip categorization.) There were fewer detours compared to other groups, and sometimes those with more stamina were placed at the back, making it hard to hear the explanations. I think it would have been better to be with others in their 20s. That said, it was definitely better than struggling and feeling rushed while climbing, and I believe we were able to conserve our energy for sightseeing.

ガイドさんが色々と気にかけてくださったおかげで、写真もたくさん撮れ、気持ちよく登ることができました。
ただ、グループのメンバーが人柄は良かったのですが、年齢層が異なりかなりゆったり目の登山となってしまったのが少し残念でした。
(普段登山をしないので、事前申告での振り分けかもしれません。)
他のグループよりも寄り道が少なかったり、体力がある人が後ろに回されるので解説が聞こえないこともあったため、同じ20代同士が良かったなと思いました。
辛い思いをして焦りながら登るよりはずっといいですし、観光に体力を回せたと考えます。

I made a reservation for my mother, and she participated in the tour. Although she has visited the area several times, she said it was great to explore efficiently with the tour. The water buffalo cart ride to Yufujima seemed particularly special. She also mentioned that it was nice to relax on the island. There were various customers, from young people to regulars.

母のために予約し母がツアー参加しました。
母自体は何度か訪れたことがある地ですが、ツアーで効率的に回れてよかったと申しておりました。水牛車で渡る由布島は格別のようです。島でゆっくりできたのもよかったといっていました。お客さんは若い人から恒例の人まで様々だったということです。

The glass-bottom boat had murky water due to the typhoon, so I couldn't see the beautiful sea as I had imagined. However, I was able to see various fish because they fed them.

On the water buffalo cart, I was able to hear various explanations about Taketomi Island. There was an introduction to a charming ice cream shop on the street, but I didn't have time to go, and there were also introductions to various shisa statues, but we moved quickly on the water buffalo cart, so I couldn't take my time to enjoy them. If you have the energy, I think it would have been nice to choose a free plan and enjoy searching for shisa on a bicycle, eating ice cream, or watching the running water buffalo cart.

ガラスボートは台風後だったため水中に濁りがあり、イメージしてたほどキレイな海を観ることは出来ませんでした。でも、魚に餌をあげてくれることでいろいろな魚を観ることができました。
水牛車では竹富島のいろいろな説明を聞くことができました。ただ、通りの魅力的なアイス屋さんの紹介がありましたが行く時間がなく、また、いろいろなシーサーの紹介などもありましたが、水牛車でどんどん進むためゆっくり観ることができませんでした。体力があるならフリープランにして自転車でシーサー探しをしたり、アイスを食べたり、走ってる水牛車を観るなどして楽しむのもアリだったかなと思いました。

The staff were very friendly and we had a great atmosphere for snorkeling as a group. Although the sea was a bit murky that day, we were able to see sea turtles, which made for a wonderful experience. I also appreciated how they took many creative photos for us. On our way back, they recommended some great spots and restaurants in Miyako Island, which was very helpful. ✨

スタッフの方も凄く気さくに話してくれて、グループで雰囲気良くシュノーケリングを体験出来ました。
その日は海が少し濁っていましたが、ウミガメにも会えて素敵な経験になりました

I went on a commemorative trip with my friends.
On the first day, the weather was bad, so we postponed it to the next day, and the weather was nice then, with a beautiful Milky Way.
I quickly showed the photos to the kids who were curious about them, and I even learned some tips on how to take beautiful pictures of the starry sky with my own phone.

1日目は天候が悪く次の日にずらしてもらい次の日は天気も良く天の川が綺麗でした。
撮れた写真が気になる子供達にすぐ見せて頂いたり、自分の携帯で星空を綺麗に撮るコツまで教えて頂きました。

The day started with a mangrove tour, followed by a leisurely ride on an ox cart to Yubu Island, and then exploring Taketomi Island by bicycle. It turned out to be a day filled with beautiful scenery and enjoyable experiences.

マングローブの遊覧から始まり、のんびり牛車で由布島へ、その後竹富島では自転車で島内散策。素敵な景色と楽しい体験ができた1日になりました。

I received two confirmation calls beforehand, which made me feel at ease for the day of participation.

It rained a little, but it wasn't enough to put on rain gear, which made me realize how the weather is in Yakushima.

I took the shuttle bus near the airport around 4:30, stopped by a bento shop along the way, and arrived at the trailhead around 5:20.

After eating my breakfast bento, I started the hike at 5:50. The bento was prepared individually from the hotel, the bento shop, or the supermarket.

There were three groups participating, and we had a total of seven people, including the guide, for the trekking.

I have a fear of heights, and the bridge without handrails was a challenge, but I was able to cross it easily by holding onto the guide's backpack. I didn't have to retire, and I'm grateful to the guide.

The guide's explanations were easy to understand, and the conversation was enjoyable. We also got to take many wonderful photos.

When we reached Jomon Sugi, all my fatigue disappeared, and I was moved. Everyone had such wonderful smiles.

I highly recommend doing the Jomon Sugi trekking with a guide for first-timers. I think it will be many times more enjoyable and moving.

事前確認の電話が2回あり、安心して当日参加を迎えられました。

少し雨に振られましたが、レインウエアを着る程ではなく、これが屋久島の天気事情なんだなあと。

４時30位頃に空港近く送迎バスに乗り、途中お弁当屋さんに立ち寄り、5時20分頃に登山口に到着。

朝食のお弁当を食べて5時50分に登山開始。
お弁当は、ホテルのお弁当やお弁当屋さん、スーパー等て各自で準備。

3グルーブの参加で、ガイドさん含め７名でのトレッキング。

高所恐怖症で手すりなしの橋が難関でしたが、
ガイドさんのザックを掴ませてもらい、なんなく渡れました。リタイアにならず、ガイドさんには感謝です。

ガイドさんの説明もわかりやすく、お喋りも楽しく、素敵な写真も沢山撮影していただけました。

縄文杉に到達した時は、疲れも吹き飛び、感動しました。
みんなとても素敵な笑顔でした。

初縄文杉トレッキングは、ガイドさん付きがオススメです。何倍も楽しく感動できると思います。
