I took a bus tour departing from Nagoya Station, visiting Takayama and Shirakawa-go. The tour started on time, and during the trip, there were announcements in Japanese, Chinese, and English, providing explanations tailored to the participants. Most of the participants were travelers from China, with a small number of Japanese. The bus was very comfortable, with appropriate temperature control and a quiet environment. We had a two-hour stay at both Takayama and Shirakawa-go, allowing us to enjoy sightseeing thoroughly. It was a very good tour that was worth the price. The tour guide provided sufficient information about the destinations and explanations during the fast-paced travel, which was helpful. There were many participants from overseas, but the English interpreter translated accurately, which I appreciated. I was happy to be able to have a friendly conversation with the person next to me, even though I attended alone. It was also great that the tour was conducted almost exactly as scheduled.
価格に見合う、大変良いツアーでした。添乗員さんも必要十分な訪問先の情報、高速で移動中のご説明を下さり為になりました。海外からの方も多く乗っておられましたが、英語の通訳さんも的確に訳されており良かったと思います。
ひとりでの参加でしたが、お隣の方と親しくお話出来たのも嬉しかったです。ツアーの前に示されていた日程とほぼ違わずに実施されたのも良かったです。

A photo taken at a recommended photo spot by our guide. It looks just like a calendar or a postcard. It's rare to find a place where you can take this photo without any obstacles. Our guide was cheerful, and we had a lot of fun. On the way back, the highway was congested, but our driver was quick-witted and took the back roads, so we arrived quickly. Thanks to that, we made it in time for our reservation at the restaurant. Thank you very much.

A fulfilling tour. 充実したツアー

I was initially worried that there wouldn't be many Japanese people on the tour, but since it was a three-day weekend, I was relieved to see more Japanese participants than I expected.
We arrived at our first destination, Takayama, just before lunchtime, so we were able to enjoy food sampling without much waiting. However, by the time we were leaving, there were long lines at the popular restaurants. I had heard that there aren't many places to eat in Shirakawa-go, so I made sure to have my meal in Takayama.
Before we reached our destinations, the bus guide explained various points using a map in Japanese, Chinese, and Korean for each group. Although we had free time at the locations, everyone was able to stick to the meeting times, allowing us to efficiently explore Takayama and Shirakawa-go for two hours each, which was just perfect! It was a fantastic tour, and I was very satisfied! I definitely want to use this service again.
日本人はほとんどいないツアーなのかなと思っていたのですが、3連休だったので思ったより日本人がいて安心しました。
最初の目的地、高山にはお昼前の時間についたので比較的並ばずに食べ歩きできましたが、帰る頃には人気店はすごい列になっていました。白川郷にはあまりご飯を食べる場所がないと聞いたので高山でご飯を済ませておきました。
また、目的地に着く前に、バスガイドさんがそれぞれポイントなどを日本語、中国語、韓国語で地図を使って一組ごとに説明してくれました。また、現地で自由行動ではあるのですが、みんなが集合時間を守ることができ、高山と白川郷を2時間ずつでちょうど良く効率よく回れてすごくいいツアーでした！！大満足です！！また是非利用したいと思いました。

A bus tour from Kanazawa to Shirakawa-go with lunch included. There were many foreign visitors, and everyone was very satisfied with the content. The time for exploration and the lunch were both great. The rice was incredibly delicious. This was my first time participating, but I would like to join this tour again when I go to Kanazawa. The return time to Kanazawa was around 3:30, which was also very nice for shopping for souvenirs and enjoying some tea time.

I participated in a tour that took us to Takayama and Shirakawa-go for two hours each. It was quite far from Nagoya, and it would have been difficult to get there by car, but using the bus tour made it easy to go. The two hours were just right for a leisurely walk. In Takayama, the old streets were beautiful, and the Hida beef sushi was very delicious. There were about three groups of Japanese participants, with mostly international attendees. First of all, everyone was punctual, and there were hardly any delays; I believe everything proceeded on schedule. The guide provided explanations in Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and English, so there was nothing difficult to understand, and I felt no anxiety.
First, we visited Takayama. The autumn leaves were beautiful, and the two-hour stroll went by in no time! We could also enjoy food sampling and visit the Takayama Jinya, which was very satisfying! これもまた紅葉が綺麗で…。こちらでも食べ歩きをして、展望台にも行きました。シャトルバスがあるとの事でしたが、遊歩道を歩いて登りました。わりと急勾配でこんばんはキツかったですが、絶景が見れたので満足です!お土産屋さんもたくさんあり、混雑している感じもなく、スムーズに買い物もできました!
散策時間が計4時間でしたが、長すぎず短すぎず、たくさん詰め込んだ楽しい時間でした!!

Since the start was early, we used a hotel near Kanazawa Station to participate. Even a couple aged 70 and 68 were able to enjoy it comfortably. We were also pleased with the consideration for other couples returning home to distant places by Shinkansen after 5 PM. We were surprised by the large number of participants from around the world (about 70%).

We were the only Japanese participants. The guide was fluent in Japanese and Chinese, providing thorough explanations, and the passengers were well-mannered, making the bus ride very comfortable.
First, we had two hours of free time in Takayama, where we enjoyed sightseeing at Takayama Jinya, sampling local foods, and shopping for souvenirs.
After that, we traveled by bus for about an hour and had another two hours of free time in Shirakawa-go. We were able to go to the observation deck, where the autumn leaves were at their peak, offering truly breathtaking views.
It was a fantastic day trip, allowing us to fully enjoy both Takayama and Shirakawa-go!

I had wanted to visit Shirakawa-go for a long time, so I found this tour and participated. First, in Takayama, we had a 2-hour walking time. I was able to enjoy food sampling in the old town. I finally visited Shirakawa-go, a place I had always wanted to go. During the bus ride, we received various explanations, and since there were many foreign participants, I thought it was a great system that the interpreter spoke in English right away.

I had a great time. In Hida Takayama, we did a sake tasting and enjoyed sukiyaki made with Hidaka beef for exactly two hours. In Shirakawa-go, we admired the colorful autumn leaves and the gassho-zukuri houses while sampling local foods. It was a bit chilly, but I think it had a different charm compared to winter in Shirakawa-go.
The guide was kind and seemed to be trilingual, speaking English, Japanese, and Chinese. We traveled with people from various countries, and the announcements on the bus were made in Japanese, Chinese, Korean, English, and Thai, which was reassuring.
Even if you rent a car from Nagoya, the round-trip highway fees can be quite high, so taking the bus was satisfying as it allowed us to enjoy sake tasting without worrying about driving.

I participated with my mother and brother. Even when we arrived at the departure point at Nagoya Station, it was difficult to tell which tour was which because many tour companies were using the same meeting place. However, while waiting, it was fun to talk with people from various countries about which tour they were joining and to discover others who were on the same tour. There was an 83-year-old mother and her daughter who came from Hawaii, and a student from the Philippines who was interested in Japanese history.
Most participants were from China or Southeast Asia, and there were only about one other group of Japanese besides us. I love different cultures, so I had no resistance and actually enjoyed the experience. The bus guide started in Chinese, but the guide distributed maps and explained to each group before arrival, so I didn't have any particular difficulties.
In Hida Takayama, we first explored the morning market. It was held along the river, and just walking there with the sound of the flowing water and the clear river was soothing. Afterwards, we enjoyed Gohei-mochi, small taiyaki from Kissa Cha no Me, and the Hida beef three-roll set from Kotte-gyu. Kotte-gyu and Cha no Me are connected, and when we went, it was relatively quiet, allowing us to eat leisurely. The sushi and small taiyaki were also very delicious, so I recommend them.
After that, we went to Shirakawa-go. Upon arrival, we took a shuttle bus to the observation deck to see the whole area, and then we slowly explored the village. It was a pleasant autumn day, and walking along the boardwalk by the rice fields and small streams felt the best. This tour is recommended for those who enjoy food walks, cultural exchanges, and nature.

飛騨高山では、まず朝市を散策。川沿いで開かれており、川のせせらぎと澄んだ川の水にただ歩いているだけで癒されました。その後、五平餅、喫茶茶の芽の小鯛焼き、こって牛の飛騨牛三巻セットをいただしました。こって牛と茶の芽は中で繋がっていて、私達がいった時は比較的すいていて、ゆったりと食べることがでにました。お寿司を小鯛焼きもとっても美味しかったのでおすすめです。
その後白川郷へ。到着後、シャトルバスで展望台へいきまず全体をみて、その後村をゆっくり散策しました。秋の朗らかな1日で、田んぼの脇の小川沿いの板道を歩いたのが一番気持ちよかったです。食べ歩き、異文化交流、自然が好きな人にはおすすめのツアーです。

The weather was nice on the day of our visit, and there was no traffic, so we arrived smoothly in Takayama. With only two hours of free time, we had lunch as well, which made our sightseeing a bit rushed, but I was moved by the charm of the old town that I hadn't felt in my younger days. There are many restaurants where you can enjoy Hida beef, which is tender and highly recommended. It was my first time visiting Shirakawa-go, and the gassho-zukuri houses lined up there were truly impressive. There are also points where you can overlook the town, which takes about 20 minutes on foot, but there are also microbuses available. The autumn leaves had started to change, and they were very beautiful.

白川郷は初めて行きましたが、合掌造りの家が立ち並び圧巻の迫力もあります。
街並みを見下ろすポイントもあり、歩いて20分程度ですが、マイクロバスも出ています。

The weather was very nice, and it was great to have a well-organized schedule. I would like to participate in another interesting tour if there is one. Shirakawa-go had beautiful scenery, and I was disappointed that I couldn't attend the light-up event. Hida also had beautiful streets, but there were many tourists, so I would like to visit during a quieter time. I was a bit surprised by the number of foreign tourists. It was wonderful to experience the charm of Japan. I'm looking forward to another interesting project.

We departed at 8:30 and arrived at Shirakawa-go around 11:00. After getting off the bus, we walked through Deai Bridge and the streets of Shirakawa-go, visiting the interior of the Wada House, which features traditional gassho-zukuri architecture.
After visiting the Wada House, we enjoyed A5-ranked Hida beef skewers and pork skewers from Shirakawa at a small shop called "Yui no Sato" located just before Deai Bridge. Both were incredibly flavorful and juicy, thanks to being grilled over charcoal.
Our two hours in Shirakawa-go flew by in no time.
Next, we arrived in Takayama a little after 14:00 and had 5th-grade rare cuts of Hida beef sushi served on hand-baked seaweed rice crackers at a shop called "Kotte Gyuu," located in the old town. I think it was the best beef dish I've ever had.
After that, we visited Takayama Jinya, which is the only remaining government office of its kind in the country.
Again, two hours passed quickly, and we left Takayama around 16:15.
This tour had mostly foreign participants, but everyone was well-mannered, and the bus was quiet. The staff were also foreign but spoke Japanese and were very pleasant.
Originally, the plan was to visit Shirakawa-go after Takayama, but due to anticipated crowds, we went to Shirakawa-go first, considering the time constraints there.
Since Shirakawa-go and Takayama have poor access, the bus tour was a great choice.
8時半に出発して、11時頃白川郷に着きました。バスを降りて、出合橋を通って、白川郷の通りを抜けて、合掌造りの和田家の建物内部を見学しました。
和田家の見学の後、であい橋の手前の「結の郷」という小さなお店でA5ランクの飛騨牛の串焼きと白川産の豚の串焼きをいただきました。いずれも炭火焼の風味が大変よくジューシーです。
白川郷での2時間はあっという間に過ぎていきました。
続いて向かった高山に14時過ぎに着き、古い街並みの中にある、「こって牛」というお店で、お皿の代わりのあおさ入り手焼き煎餅の上に、三貫の寿司がのった5等級の希少部位の飛騨牛握り寿司をいただきました。今まで食べた牛料理の中で一番おいしいと思いました。
その後、通りを抜けた少し先にある高山陣屋を見学しました。ここは全国に唯一現存する郡代・代官所だそうです。
ここでも２時間はあっという間で、16時15分頃高山を後にしました。
このツアーは大半が外国人でしたが、皆さんマナーが良く、バスの中も静かでした。係員の方も外国人でしたが、日本語もお話になり、感じの良い方でした。
予定では、高山の後に白川郷でしたが、混雑が予想されるということで、時間制限のある白川郷に先に向かう配慮もありました。
白川郷や高山はアクセスが悪いので、バスのツアーはとても良かったです。

I participated in a three-day weekend tour. The participants were from various countries, including Japan, China, South Korea, and Taiwan. The tour guide, Mr. Zhu, provided very detailed explanations and was very kind. He made multilingual announcements to ensure everyone could understand and provided individual guidance for sightseeing during the walks. Departed from the group bus boarding area at the west exit of Kanazawa Station. On the day, there was a medium-sized bus with a total of 16 participants, including 12 international tourists. The veteran guide's explanations in both Japanese and English were excellent. In Shirakawa-go, we had a leisurely stroll for about three hours, including lunchtime. The lunch menu featured a course meal of Japanese cuisine, including Hida beef. In the latter part of the tour, we enjoyed a quiet walk for about an hour in the Gokayama Ainokura that was different from the morning's activities, making it a fulfilling tour.

This was my third time in Takayama, but going to Shirakawa-go on my own was quite challenging, so I was drawn to the half-price campaign and decided to participate.
On the morning of the trip, the light rain had stopped, and when I arrived at the meeting place, there was a huge crowd. The Chinese tour guide holding the EASYGO flag was reading out names in Chinese, Korean, English, and Japanese, making it very international. There were only three Japanese groups.
We departed at the scheduled time of 8:30, cruising along the highway while enjoying the view of the autumn-colored mountains, with a break along the way. We arrived in Takayama at 11:30 as planned, and had two hours to explore the town. We went out in small groups. The Miyagawa morning market was still open, so we walked around listening to the sound of the river. For lunch, I searched for a shop that served Hoba-yaki, but all I found were places serving Hida beef and sushi, so in the end, I had sukiyaki at "Yosuke."
The Jinya is a serene building surrounded by pine trees. It is spacious inside, and I was told that the tour would take about 20 minutes, so I gave up and hurried back to the parking lot after buying some pickled red turnips, as we were about to depart. Everyone was punctual and we proceeded as scheduled.
We arrived at Shirakawa-go in an hour, and from the wide parking lot by the riverbank, we crossed a suspension bridge into the village. The somewhat autumn-colored mountains and the flowing river made for a beautiful Japanese satoyama, and many foreigners were busy taking photos, creating quite a crowd. Gohei-mochi and ice cream were also popular.
Walking along the paved path surrounded by autumn flowers and pampas grass, we reached an open observation deck after about 20 minutes of walking up a steep slope. The view of the gassho-zukuri houses spread out below was magnificent. After descending the mountain, I visited the Wada House (400 yen). It was a splendid three-story structure, and climbing the steep stairs led me to the second floor. The blackened pillars, smoked by the irori, and the impressive way the ropes tied the pillars together were remarkable. The autumn scenery visible from the window was something I could have gazed at forever.
As the sun set, we safely arrived in Nagoya before 7 PM. The explanations over the microphone were in Chinese, then English, and then Korean, but the tour guide personally provided detailed explanations to the Japanese participants, which was very helpful. We were on time and caught the return Shinkansen, enjoying a comfortable autumn day. Thank you very much.

当日の朝は、小雨も上がり、集合場所にいくと、大変な人混み。
EASYGOの旗を持つ中国人の添乗員さんが名簿の番号
を読み上げるのは、中国語、韓国語、英語、日本語と国際的。
日本人は三組だけでした。
予定の8時半に出発し、紅葉した山なみを眺めながら
高速道路を快走し、途中休憩。
高山にも予定通り11時半に着き、2時間の散策。
三々五々町へ出かけました。
宮川の朝市がまだやっていたので、川の音を聞きながら
見て歩き、お昼は、朴葉焼きのお店を探したのですが、
どこも飛騨牛焼きとか握りとかのお店ばかりで、結局「与助」で、
すき焼きを食べました。
陣屋は松に囲まれた静謐な建物。
中は広いので見学は20分はかかるとの事、諦めて途中赤カブの漬物を
買って駐車場に急いで戻ると直ぐに出発。
皆さん時間厳守で予定どおりに進みます。
白川郷には1時間で着き、川端の広い駐車場から、つり橋を渡って集落
の中へ。幾分紅葉した山と滔々と流れる川、
日本の美しい里山に、外国の方たちも写真を撮るのに夢中で、大変な人混み、
五平餅やアイスも人気です。
秋の草花やススキに囲まれた合掌造りの家を眺めながら舗装された小道、
途中からは急峻な坂道を20分ほど歩くと開けた展望台へ到着。
合掌造りの家々が眼下に広がり素晴らしい風景でした。
山から下りて和田家の中を見学(400円)。三階建ての見事なつくりで、
急な階段を上ると二階。囲炉裏から上る煙でいぶされた
黒光りする柱、柱と柱を結わえる縄の縛り方の見事なこと。
そして窓から見える秋の風景はいつまでもみていたい風景でした。
日も暮れ名古屋には7時前に無事到着しました。
マイクでの説明は中国語→英語→韓国語の順でしたが、添乗員さんが。
日本人には個人的に丁寧に説明してくれたので助かりました。
時間通り、帰りの新幹線にも間に合い、快適な秋の一日を過ごせました。

Overall, it was good. I appreciate the tour guide who handled Chinese, English, and Japanese well and provided sightseeing information. About seven years ago, I visited Shirakawa-go, but it feels like the traditional scenery is gradually disappearing. Also, regarding Gujo Hachiman, it was disappointing that there was no guidance about this symbolic place (where they dance all night).
全体的には、良かったのです。ツアーガイドも、中国語、英語、日本語と良くこなし、観光案内していただき、感謝しています。
７年ほど前に、白川郷に行ったのですが、段々、昔ながらの風景が無くなっているような感じがします。
また、郡上八幡ですが、ここが、郡上八幡と言う、象徴的な場所（ここが夜どうし踊りをしている場所とか）の案内が無かったのが、寂しいかった。

I visited Shirakawa-go and Takayama for the first time.
In Shirakawa-go, the traditional gassho-zukuri houses create a beautiful landscape, and I was moved by their harmony with nature. Today, I participated in a day trip to Shirakawa-go and Takayama. At the meeting point in front of the police box, the tour guide was speaking in Chinese, which made me a bit anxious about whether they would understand Japanese, but I was relieved to find that they communicated well in Japanese. There were more participants from overseas, but the announcements in Japanese were clear, which was reassuring. The weather was nice, and the autumn leaves had started to change, providing beautiful scenery. I enjoyed various foods like Takayama ramen, dumplings, and beef skewers. I was able to enjoy the beautiful views and indulge in some delicious food along the way.

日本語通じなかったらどうしようと一瞬不安になりましたが、日本語もしっかり通じるので安心しました。

天気もよく紅葉もはじまっており綺麗な景色がみらました。髙山ラ―メンやお団子、牛串など色々食べました。
綺麗な景色を見て、食べ歩きもできとても楽しめました。

I had a fulfilling day visiting two tourist spots! On the day I participated, we went to Shirakawa-go first, so the itinerary might change depending on the weather. The two locations only allowed for two hours of free time each, which went by in a flash, so I think it's best to plan ahead for what you want to see. However, I was able to enjoy a fun time feeling the nature away from daily life♪ There were many participants who were not Japanese, but I didn't feel any particular inconvenience! The tour guide was very kind and explained everything individually using a map.
観光地2ヶ所を巡れて充実した1日となりました！私の参加した日は白川郷に先に行ったので、天候等で行程が変わることがあるのかもです。2ヶ所とも2時間の自由行動はあっという間なので、行きたいところは前もって考えておいた方が良いと思います。ですが、日常から離れた自然を感じることができ楽しい時間を過ごせました♪日本人以外の方も多く参加していましたが特に不便は感じなかったです！添乗員さんが個別に地図で説明してくださりとても親切でした。
