During my stay in Miyako Island, the weather was bad the whole time, and I had given up on seeing the Miyako Blue and the starry sky. However, I received a very kind message, and they changed the date to a day when it wasn't raining.
Although there were many clouds making it difficult to take photos, I made a special request, and they patiently waited for a break in the clouds to capture some wonderful pictures. They maintained social distancing, which made me feel safe during the shoot.
I am grateful for their kindness, as I was able to preserve the beautiful starry sky of Miyako Island as a memory. I definitely want to try again on a day with good weather.
宮古島滞在中ずっと悪天候で、宮古ブルーも星空も諦めていましたが、とても親切に連絡をいただき、雨が降らない日に変更していただきました。
雲が多く撮影が難しい状況でしたが、無理を言ってお願いし、雲の切れ間を待ち素敵な写真を撮影していただきました。
ソーシャルディスタンスも保たれ安心して撮影していただけました。

We gathered at Emerald Coast Golf Links at 10:30 PM. It seemed that there was a long period of cloud cover, and the earlier groups were delayed, so the shooting started around 11 PM. Since it was a full moon, the moon was bright, and unfortunately, we could hardly see any stars. The photographers seemed to have a tough time in the uneven, sloped areas of the golf course, but they took a lot of great photos. The finished pictures were wonderful, and I thought they truly reflected the professionalism of the photographers. This time we focused on the moon, so I would like to plan for a star shoot next time.
当日は22:30にエメラルドコーストゴルフリンクスに集合でした。
雲がかかっている時間が長かったようで前の方、またその前の方の撮影もおしていて23時頃に撮影が始まりました。満月の時期であったため、月が明るくて星は残念ながらほとんど見えませんでした。ゴルフ場の足場の悪い傾斜のある場所などでカメラマンさんも大変そうでしたが、たくさん写真を撮ってくださいました。
できあがった写真は素敵でさすがプロだなと思いました。
今回は月の写真だったので、時期をずらして次回は星の撮影にリベンジしたいです。

Since it was close to a full moon, as I had been informed earlier, we couldn't see a sky full of stars, but I was still glad to have the opportunity to take photos with the stars. I was pleasantly surprised to see more stars in the photos than I had expected.
When we met at the golf course, it was dark, and I felt a bit nervous in the car, but the staff were easy to talk to, which helped me relax.
I was completely captivated by the starry sky and the blue sea of Miyako Island, so I would like to choose a time without moonlight and participate again next time.
満月に近い時期でしたので、先に連絡をいただいていた通り、満天の星空とはいきませんでしたが、それでも星と共に写真に収まる機会はなかなかないので撮っていただいて良かったなと思います。思っていたよりも星も写っていて嬉しかったです。
ゴルフ場での待ち合わせの際、あたりが暗くて車の中でドキドキしてしまったのですが、お話のしやすいスタッフさんで、緊張せずにすみました。
すっかり宮古島の星空と海の青さに魅了されて取り憑かれてしまったので、次は月明かりのない時期を選んでまた参加したいと思います。

Before the tour started, the sky was overcast with heavy clouds that looked like it might rain, and I was a bit disappointed to hear that stargazing would be unlikely and that we would mainly be searching for creatures instead...
However, many creatures like large frogs, crabs, hermit crabs, and owls welcomed us, making me forget that disappointment!
Among them, we were told that seeing one coconut crab would be lucky, but that day we saw four! It was my first time seeing wild coconut crabs, and they were huge and impressive, which got both the participants and the guide very excited!
While enjoying the search for creatures, we headed out to the sandy beach, and when I looked up... the weather before the tour seemed like a lie as the sky cleared up, revealing a stunning starry sky! Personally, it was the most beautiful starry sky I've ever seen! It truly felt like a miracle after the rain✨ I think we were lucky, but I had more fun than I expected!
The guide was very friendly, and we had such great conversations that I wished we could talk even more!
If you visit Ishigaki Island, I highly recommend joining this tour!
*Please note that while walking through the jungle-like path, there are sharp leaves and branches, so it's necessary to wear long sleeves and long pants to avoid skin injuries!
ツアー開始前は雨が降りそうなどんよりと重たい雲で、星空鑑賞は望めず星物探しがメインになると伝えられ、少々残念な気持ちでした…
しかし、その気持ちを忘れさせてくれるような大きなカエル・カニ・ヤドカリ・フクロウなど他にも沢山の生物がお出迎えしてくれました！
中でも1匹見れたらラッキーと言われるヤシガニがその日はなんと4匹も！野生のヤシガニは初めてでとても大きく迫力があり、参加者そしてガイドの方も一緒に大興奮！笑
生物探しを楽しみながら砂浜に出て、ふと上を見上げると…
ツアー開始前のお天気が嘘のように晴れ渡り、満天の星空が広がっていました！
個人的に1番綺麗な星空でした！
まさに雨上がりの奇跡✨
その時の運もあったと思いますが、予想以上に楽しむ事が出来ました！
ガイドの方も気さくな方で終始話が弾みもっとお話をしていたいくらいでした！
石垣島にお越しになったらツアーに参加することをオススメします！
※道中ジャングルのような中を進む際に葉先が尖ったものや枝が突き出ているところがあるため、肌を怪我しないように長袖、長ズボンの着用がいります！

Unfortunately, we couldn't enjoy stargazing due to the cloudy weather, but the night walk was pleasant, and we had a great time excitedly observing various creatures and plants. The coconut crabs we saw at night were mystical! I think this tour is enjoyable for small children as well.

I participated with three friends. We were taken to places that we wouldn't have been able to visit without the tour, and we encountered animals, insects, and birds that we had never seen before. We even got to see a coconut crab! It was a bit scary, so I couldn't touch it, haha. The guides were also very polite and worked hard to show us around, making it a thoroughly satisfying tour!

We gathered at the golf course around 9:30 PM and met up with the local photographer. Just entering the golf course at night felt mysterious and fun. From there, we climbed a small mountain to take photos at the top. The moon and stars were beautiful in a way that you don't see on Honshu. We struck various poses, and the shoot began. When I saw the finished photos, they exceeded my expectations; the moon and stars were stunning. The photos will be sent via email. It was a lot of fun.
夜の9時半頃にゴルフ場で集合し、現地のカメラマンと合流します。夜のゴルフ場に入るのだけでも不思議な気分になって楽しいです笑。そこから小さな山に登ってその上で写真を撮る流れでした。月も星も本州にはない綺麗さでとても良かったです。いろんなポーズをとって、撮影が始まります。できあがった写真を見ると期待以上のできばえで月も星も綺麗でした。写真はメールで送られます。とても楽しかったです。

I participated with my mother☆
We gathered at 9:30 PM and took a taxi from the hotel to the entrance of the golf course.
A young man came to greet us, and we walked up the hill to start the photo shoot!
Since the moon was out, it was bright, but we could also see the stars with the naked eye, and we were able to take beautiful pictures (^^)
On the way back, the taxi driver was waiting for us, so we were able to return smoothly.
I made wonderful memories on my first trip to Miyako Island, and I am very satisfied☆

While searching for a tour that was different from the usual ones, we found this tour offered by your company. The humorous conversations from our two tour guides made the ride very enjoyable, and we arrived at our destination in no time.
During the jungle exploration, we couldn't encounter coconut crabs due to the season, but we had an unexpected meeting with a sea snake on the beach! We lost track of time and both returned to our childhood, having a great time. The starlit sky was enchanting, with a view of the stars and moon that is hard to see in urban areas back home due to city lights!
Although my husband and I usually have fewer conversations, we found ourselves chatting happily and had a truly enjoyable experience. This tour is fun for people of all ages. I highly recommend it for creating wonderful travel memories!

I experienced a course where we explored the jungle and watched the stars on the beach.
In the jungle, I was able to observe creatures I had never seen before, such as lizards and large coconut crabs. It was a great experience to see their actual size and movements, which is different from just seeing them in photos. Also, since there were no lights around, the stars were very clear.
The guide was very informative, not only about the jungle but also about the owls and snakes we encountered along the way, which was wonderful.
It was an incredibly dense 1 to 2 hours!

It had been rainy and cloudy, but during my stay, I managed to book a tour for a day when the sun came out. Before we set off, we were informed that due to the cloudy weather, it would be impossible to see the stars, and that we could cancel for free or change the date if we wanted. I thought it would be fine just to stroll through the forest at night, so I decided to participate.
According to the guide, December is not suitable for stargazing because of the frequent cloudy skies. I hoped to see things like coconut crabs in the night forest, but I mostly saw plants. I prepared myself for this, but I was disappointed. It seems that there are fewer animals in winter, so it might be better not to visit during this season.

I had low expectations since I heard that it’s not very active during the colder months, but on this day, I found three coconut crabs and had a wonderful experience being able to touch them. The staff were very friendly, and the night forest experience, where we borrowed rubber boots and flashlights to go to the beach, was also enjoyable. Although the rainy season meant we couldn’t see a beautiful starry sky, it was a very satisfying tour.
気温の低い時期なので活動的でないと聞いてあまり期待してなかったのですが、この日はヤシガニ3匹見つかり、触らせてもらえてステキな経験になりました。
スタッフの方々もとても感じ良く、長靴と懐中電灯を借りて砂浜まで行く夜の森体験も楽しかったです。

The night tour was enjoyable as we could see coconut crabs, rare shells, and fireflies. However, we only observed the stars for a few minutes at the beach we visited during the night tour. I chose this tour because I read a post saying that they moved to another location for stargazing and saw a sky full of stars, so I was really disappointed. During the unpredictable weather of the New Year season, I participated mainly in searching for creatures, resigning myself to the heavy clouds covering the sky and giving up on seeing the stars. Changing into my boots, we ventured into the jungle-like thicket, and my son was incredibly excited while searching for creatures! We got to see rare animals up close, like coconut crabs and scorpions, making it an experience that could only be had here. In the end, we were also moved to see a sky full of stars peeking through the clouds! The guide didn’t give up on finding creatures until the very end and even spotted an owl from the car on the way back. It was a truly memorable tour.

I joined hoping to see the starry sky, but the weather wasn't good and it was cloudy. It rained occasionally, so I was almost ready to give up on the stars.
The guide said, "Let's look for creatures instead of stars," which made my daughter, who is a high school girl and really dislikes bugs and reptiles, cringe (laughs). However, the guide worked hard to find crabs, palm crabs, golden stink bugs, and scorpion-like creatures. I had fun seeing creatures that are not often found in Kyoto.
I was able to see a little bit of the stars through the gaps in the clouds, but it wasn't the starry sky I had hoped for, where it looked like they might fall. It's nature, so there's nothing we can do about it.
I'm looking forward to next time.

During the journey, we had a lot of fun learning interesting trivia about the Yaeyama Islands. Although it lasted for two and a half hours, I was completely engaged and enjoyed every moment. If I could request a guide, I would definitely want Ryo-san again! His knowledge and service were exceptional.
We explored not only the dangers related to plants, insects, and marine life but also looked for local animals like bats and owls that are found in Ishigaki Island. He even took us to a spot where we could finally see the stars, which were hidden by clouds at the beginning of the tour. Overall, it was an incredibly thoughtful experience. I believe this activity is enjoyable for everyone, not just families with children!

It was a bit cloudy, so I was worried about the starry sky, but the clouds cleared up and we were able to see the stars! Also, the guide found a coconut crab, and the kids took lots of photos and videos. On the way back, we also saw an owl on Owl Road, which made me very satisfied.
少し曇ってたので星空が心配でしたが、うまく雲もなくなり星空が見れました！また、ガイドさんがヤシガニを見つけてくださり、子供たちも写真や動画など沢山撮ってました。帰りもフクロウロードでフクロウも見れてとても満足です。

I participated in this tour on New Year's Day night! It was just the two of us, but we both love jungle tours, so we were really looking forward to it ^_^ When we arrived at the meeting place, the jungle atmosphere was a hundred times stronger than I imagined, and I wouldn't have dared to enter alone... haha. However, thanks to our guide's very cheerful and fun explanations, we enjoyed it without any worries!! I was also happy to meet the coconut crab we were hoping to see (^^). Unfortunately, we couldn't see the starry sky because it was cloudy, but I definitely want to try again! I would love to take my future children on this tour someday. Thank you very much ( ◠‿◠ ).
元日の夜にこのツアーに参加させていただきました！
彼女と2人での参加でしたが、2人ともこうゆうジャングルツアーが大好きなので非常に楽しみでした^_^
集合場所に着くとそこは想像の100倍ジャングル感が強く、1人ではとても入ろうとは思えない場所でした、、、笑
ですがガイドさんの非常に明るくて楽しい解説のお陰で、なんの不安もなく楽しめました！！
お目当てのヤシガニにも会えて嬉しかったです(^^)
星空に関しては曇りだったので見れませんでしたが、またリベンジしたいと思いました！
いつか子供が出来たらまた参加させてあげたいと思えるツアーでした。

The tour location was very dark, and I definitely wouldn't want to go in alone (≧∇≦).
There were many coconut crabs, and I also enjoyed seeing hermit crabs and various insects while guiding the tour♪
I was also disappointed that the thick clouds prevented us from seeing the starry sky ( ; ; ).
