Equipped with a life jacket, helmet, and beach shoes, we walked through the knee-deep water towards the cave! It was further than I expected.
Along the way, we were lucky to see a waterfall!
The entrance to the cave is narrow, and once inside, there is a pumpkin. We climbed up the side to go further up.
Looking back, it was a short time, but it felt very fulfilling and seemed to last a long time.
You really feel like you're on an adventure.
It might be a good idea to have gloves when climbing.

ライフジャケットにヘルメット、ビーチシューズを装備して、膝下ぐらいの水深の海を歩いて洞窟に向かいます！思った以上に距離がありました。
途中、滝も見れてラッキーでした！
洞窟の入り口は狭く、入るとパンプキンがあります。横をよじ登って上に行きます。
今思えば短時間ではあったのですが、とても充実しておりすごく長く感じました。
冒険をした気分になれます。
登る時に手袋があると良いかもしれません。

【From Application to the Day of the Tour】
I chose this plan without hesitation because there was no other option that combined SUP and snorkeling at the Blue Cave in Kabira Bay. I participated with my husband and our first-year middle school son.
The reservation was confirmed at the time of application, and the fact that there were no cancellation fees until the day before provided peace of mind. They kindly answered my questions during the phone call about the pickup location and time the day before the tour.

【On the Day of Participation】
We were picked up on time (8:45 AM) at the ANA InterContinental where we were staying. After that, we picked up two other groups in the city and headed to Kabira Bay. Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared recommendations for shops in the city as well as information about the island's plants and animals, making the car ride very enjoyable and relaxed.

After arriving at Kabira Bay (further into the bay from where the glass-bottom boats depart), we listened to the SUP instructions on land and then headed straight to the sea. During the approximately one hour, we had time for photos at scenic spots and thoroughly enjoyed SUP. Even as a beginner, the stable board allowed me to stand up quickly.

After finishing SUP, we moved by car to the area where the glass-bottom boats depart for lunch and a stroll (about 2 hours). We had lunch at Kabira Shokudo and enjoyed a leisurely time walking on the sandy beach and savoring Blue Seal ice cream. (Since there are no other restrooms during the tour, I recommend using the clean restroom next to the parking lot.)

We then moved to the beach near the Blue Cave (about a 15-minute drive), listened to the snorkeling instructions, and headed to the Blue Cave. Depending on the time, the light coming in may vary, and on this day, it didn't feel as blue, but the cave was mystical with fossils and crystals. After that, we had a snorkeling time a bit further offshore, enjoying beautiful corals and tropical fish for about 30 minutes.
Afterward, we returned to the hotel (the order for the day was ANA InterContinental → city). We arrived around 3:30 PM. I was satisfied with both the content and the duration.

They took a lot of photos for us and sent the data on the same day, creating wonderful memories.

You will be in your swimsuit from pickup until you return. It would be good to have easy-to-wear clothes over your swimsuit for lunchtime and during transfers (men can wear T-shirts, and women can wear quick-drying dresses or rash guards with shorts). While they take photos for you, bringing a waterproof case for your smartphone allows you to capture videos, making it even more fun.

【申し込みから当日まで】
川平湾でSUPと青の洞窟シュノーケリングの二つが叶うプランは他になかったので迷わずこのプランを申し込みました。中学一年男子と夫婦の3人での参加です。
申し込みと同時に予約確定し、前日までキャンセル料がかからないことも安心材料になりました。
ツアー前日のピックアップ場所と時間のお電話では質問に丁寧に答えてくれました。

【参加当日】
宿泊のANAインターコンチネンタルにて時間通り（8時45分）にピックアップ。その後、市内で2組をピックアップして川平湾へ。担当のガイドさんは知識豊富で道中市街地のオススメのお店や、島の植物や動物についてお話ししてくれ、とても楽しく車内はとても和やかになりました。

川平湾（グラスボートが発着している場所より湾の奥の方）到着後、SUPの説明を陸上で聞き、早速海へ。約1時間の間に写真映えスポットでの撮影タイムとSUPを十分に楽しめました。初めてでも安定感のあるボードなのですぐに立ち上がることができます。

SUP終了後、グラスボートが発着しているエリアに車で移動し昼食と散策タイム（約2時間ほど）川平食堂で昼食をとり、砂浜を散策したりブルシールズのアイスを楽しんだりとゆっくりできました。（ツアー中お手洗いはここしかないので駐車場横の綺麗なお手洗いを利用することをオススメします）

青の洞窟近くの浜辺へ移動（車で15分ほど）シュノーケリングの説明を聞き、青の洞窟へ。時間によっての光の差し込み具合か、この日はそこまで青いとは感じませんでしたが、洞窟には化石や水晶があったり神秘的でした。その後、もう少し沖の方へシュノーケリングタイム。30分ほど美しい珊瑚や熱帯魚を堪能できました。
終了後ホテルへ（この日の順番はANAインターコンチネンタル→市内でした）
到着は15時半頃でした。内容も時間も満足でした。

写真をたくさん撮っていただき、データも当日送っていただき、いい思い出になりました。

ピックアップの時から帰るまでずっと水着を着たままで移動します。昼食時や移動時に脱ぎ着しやすい上から着る服があるといいです（男性はTシャツ、女性は速乾性のあるワンピースやラッシュガードと短パンなど）写真は撮ってもらえますが、スマホ防水ケースを持っていくと動画も撮れるので楽しいです。

The sea was incredibly beautiful, and I was moved by it. The driver was also very kind, providing guidance on SUP, the ocean, the town, and recommending great places to eat. I had a wonderful day. They took beautiful photos as well, and I am very satisfied!

Not only the activities, but I highly recommend booking this tour at the beginning of your trip! The stories about Ishigaki Island, gourmet food, sunsets, butterflies, and city recommendations were all incredibly valuable as I continued my journey! With the longer duration, the way you ask questions can lead to gathering a wealth of information. Additionally, you can experience two representative activities, and not only is the Blue Cave beautiful inside, but there are also stunning coral reefs nearby, allowing you to enjoy three activities in total!

アクティビティはもちろんのこと、こちらのツアーは旅最初に申し込むことをオススメいたします！
石垣島の話、グルメ、サンセット、蝶々、街のオススメなど、これから旅を進める上でも非常に貴重なお話ばかりでした！
時間が長い分、こちらの質問の仕方次第でいかようにも情報収集ができました。
また、代表的なアクティビティの2つが経験でき、青の洞窟も洞窟内だけでなく、近くには綺麗な珊瑚礁も広がっているのでアクティビティも3つ分楽しめます！

The guide, who was a very interesting captain, made the experience really enjoyable, and it was so much fun to feed the seagulls and black-tailed gulls as an option! Seeing such a beautiful blue sea felt like it changed my perspective on the world!

The Pumpkin Cave was an incredible space that I had never seen before, and I was very excited. At first, I thought it would be just like any other cave, and I hesitated about going, but if you're visiting Miyako Island, this place is a must-see!

I also got to see beautiful sea turtles, corals, and fish in the stunning ocean.

Finally, I enjoyed stand-up paddleboarding in the calm sea and had a relaxing time!

The staff took a lot of photos with their camera and sent me the data at the end, so I received many great pictures.

The staff were kind and also recommended delicious restaurants.

パンプキン鍾乳洞は今まで見たことの無い空間でとてもワクワクしました。
最初は普通の鍾乳洞と変わらないと思っていて行くか考えましたが、宮古島に行くならココは外せないです笑

また、綺麗な海でウミガメ・珊瑚・魚を見ることができました。

最後に波の無い海でsupを楽しみ、リラックスタイムを味わいました！

The captain was very kind, and he explained the locations in a fun way, making it a really enjoyable time! ✨

I was a bit worried about the weather since it was cloudy, but he told us that the light blue inside the cave looked beautiful and that it was actually the perfect timing, even better than on a sunny day, which made me very happy!

He also guided us to various places besides the cave, so I was very satisfied. ☺️

There are many cruises to choose from, but I think if you're going, this one is definitely the best choice! Thank you for a wonderful time!!

I have three points to share!
1. The Pumpkin Cave is full of adventure and enjoyable for both children and adults!
2. After the adventure, relaxing with the sea turtles was the best!
3. The guide was friendly, kind, and provided a sense of security!

1. The tour of the Pumpkin Cave was more adventurous than I expected and incredibly fun! On the way to the cave, we walked through the sea (when I participated, it was even more thrilling with rough waves!), climbed rocks like in rock climbing, and jumped into the sea! The cave itself was very mystical, and I could feel the history of Miyako Island. Even though it was full of adventure, the guide supported those who might not be as physically confident, making it a safe experience for everyone.

2. I thought it would be unlikely to see sea turtles so easily during the snorkeling, but I was able to encounter five turtles, from small ones to adults! The sea turtles seemed very accustomed to people, and there were moments when they approached us, which was incredibly soothing to watch. Not only did we see sea turtles, but we were also taken to the coral reefs where we could see many fish! The location was shallow, so I think children and those new to snorkeling can participate with confidence!

3. The content was excellent, but I believe it was thanks to the guide! They were very friendly and kind, engaging with each person and providing a sense of security. Additionally, they shared a lot of local gourmet information, which made my subsequent trip to Miyako Island even more fulfilling!

②アドベンチャーした後にのんびりウミガメに癒されて最高でした！

①パンプキン鍾乳洞のツアーは、予想以上にアドベンチャー感があり、とても楽しかったです！鍾乳洞までの道のりで海の中を歩いたり(私が参加した際は荒波の中でより刺激あり！)、ロッククライミングのように岩を登ったり、海に飛び込んだり！！また、鍾乳洞はとても神秘的で、宮古島の島の歴史を肌で感じられました。
アドベンチャー感満載といっても、子供や体力に自信のない方にもあわせて、ガイドさんがサポートして下さったり、どんな方でも安心して参加できると思いました。

②ウミガメシュノーケルでは、まさかそんな簡単にウミガメにあえないだろうと思っていましたが、小亀から大人の亀まで5匹もあうとことができました！
人にすごく慣れているのかウミガメの方から近づいてくる場面もあり、ウミガメののんびり泳ぐ姿に大変癒されました。
ウミガメだけではなく、珊瑚礁にも連れて行って頂き、たくさんの魚達も見ることができました！
場所は浅瀬なので子供やシュノーケルが初めての方でも安心して参加できると思います！

③コンテンツも最高でしたが、それはガイドさんあっての結果だなと思いました！とても親しみやすく親切で、1人1人に声をかけて下さり安心感がありました。また、地元のグルメ情報など宮古島を楽しむためのお話をたくさんして頂けて、その後の宮古島旅行も充実したものになりました！

The sea turtle snorkeling tour was fantastic! We had a beautiful guide with a wonderful smile, and my initial nervousness about snorkeling turned into excitement as time went on. We took many photos with the sea turtles, creating precious memories for our family. The guide quickly dove down and brought up a pufferfish, and I was thrilled to actually hold it. During the snorkeling, the gentle encouragement and explanations about the fish made me feel at ease and well taken care of. Thank you very much!

ウミガメシュノーケリングツアー、美人で笑顔が素敵なガイドさんにあたり、緊張していたシュノーケリングも時間が経つにつれてワクワクに変わりました！
ウミガメとの写真もたくさん撮っていただき、家族の大切な思い出ができました。
ガイドさんがさっと潜ってフグを取ってきてくれました。実際にフグを持たせてもらったのも感激しました。
シュノーケリング中は、優しい声かけや魚の説明周りへの配慮もばっちりで安心して参加できました。

While searching for something memorable from my trip to Otaru and Sapporo, I found this Blue Cave tour and booked it right away! On the day of the tour, I was heading to the meeting point by taxi when I received a call saying, "Thank you for today. If you have any questions about the location, please feel free to contact us." It was a kind gesture. When I arrived at the meeting place, others were already there, and the captain was distributing life jackets while engaging in friendly conversation, which created a warm atmosphere and everyone was smiling.

And off we went! I was surprised by how fast the boat was going, but it felt great. The captain shared many stories and took pictures with us. His fluent Japanese and puns were all wonderful! Finally, we arrived at the much-anticipated Blue Cave—truly a stunning blue that made me wonder if I was really in Hokkaido. I learned that cloudy days make the blue appear even more vibrant, and that day was perfect for visiting the Blue Cave.

The boat itself isn't very large, but I think it's definitely worth the ride. I would love to go again if I have the chance. It became a great memory. Thank you!

小樽、札幌の旅行で何か思い出に残るものはないかと探していたときにこちらの青の洞窟ツアーを見つけすぐに予約しました！当日はタクシーで乗り場へ向かっていたのですが集合時間前にお電話があり「今日はよろしくお願いします。場所等わからなければすぐにご連絡下さいね。」と親切に連絡をくれました。集合場所にはすでに他の方も来ていて船長さんがライフジャケットを配りながらも和気あいあいな会話が場を和ませみなさん笑顔でした。さぁ、出港！思いの外スピードが出て驚きましたがとても気持ち良かったです。色々なお話をたくさんしてくれて写真におさめました。流暢な日本語、ダジャレ(笑)どれも素晴らしかったです！そしてお楽しみの青の洞窟へ到着〜一面本当に綺麗な青でここが北海道？と思うほど感動しました。晴天より曇りの日の方がより青く見えるとのことでその日は絶好の青の洞窟日和でした。船自体は正直大きくはないですが乗る価値は十分にあると思います。また機会があれば乗りたいなと思います。いい思い出になりました。ありがとうございました！

There were concerns about the typhoon, but we had a great time from morning until noon.

During the turtle snorkeling, we saw three turtles and a remora swimming closely with them! The guide was cute and friendly, and took lots of photos for us. We were able to see not only the turtles but also plenty of coral and small fish.

After the turtles, we headed to the Pumpkin Cave. The walk to the entrance of the cave was a bit challenging, but when we arrived, I was filled with excitement. Inside the cave, we could explore various areas, and at the end, we dove into the sea. The cave tour also included many photo opportunities.

We walked through rough waves and swam while snorkeling, which made us tired, but it was a priceless experience. Thank you very much. I highly recommend it!

台風の心配もありましたが、朝から昼までたっぷり楽しめました。

亀さんシュノーケルでは3匹の亀、その亀に張り付いて泳ぐ小判鮫も見れました！
ガイドさんは、可愛くて親切で、沢山写真も撮ってくれます。亀さんとはもちろん、珊瑚と小さな魚達も沢山見る事ができました。

亀さんの後は、パンプキン鍾乳洞です。
鍾乳洞入口までは、少し大変でしたが、鍾乳洞の入口に着いた時はワクワクしました。
鍾乳洞の中もいろいろ探索できて、最後には海の中へダイブです。鍾乳洞ツアーでも、沢山写真を撮ってくれました。

荒波を歩いたり、シュノーケルで泳いだりと沢山動いて疲れましたが、プライスレスな体験ができました。ありがとうございました。

Due to the typhoon, the SUP at Kabira Bay was canceled, but we were able to go to the Blue Cave in the afternoon. The guide came to pick us up at the hotel and shared recommendations for spots on Ishigaki Island during the drive. Before the activity, there was a thorough explanation of how to swim, and throughout the activity, the guide frequently checked on us, which made us feel at ease. The explanations about the marine life were unique and interesting, and we enjoyed the entire experience. It was unfortunate that the weather wasn't great, but we were still able to appreciate the beauty of the ocean, which was moving. Additionally, instead of dropping us back at the hotel, they kindly took us to the next sightseeing spot we wanted to visit, which was very helpful. The pre-activity phone support and the guide were both very pleasant, and I highly recommend this tour!

台風の影響で川平湾でのSUPは中止になってしまいましたが、午後から青の洞窟に行くことができました。ガイドの方がホテルまで迎えに来てくださって、道中石垣島のオススメスポットなどを教えてくださいました。アクティビティの前に丁寧に泳ぎ方の説明があり、アクティビティの最中もこまめにこちらの様子を伺ってくださったので、安心できました。また、生き物の説明もユニークで面白く、終始楽しく参加できました。天気が良くなかったのが残念でしたが、十分に海の綺麗さが感じられ、感動しました。また、帰りはホテルではなく、次に行きたい観光地まで送ってくださり、大変助かりました。事前の電話対応も、ガイドの方もとても感じが良く、ぜひおすすめしたいツアーです！

I found this activity while planning to enjoy the sea in Ishigaki Island. It was my first time trying stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), but I had no problems and had a great time. The snorkeling was also amazing, with the sea being incredibly clear and lots of fish swimming around, making it a valuable experience. Although it rained partway through, I was glad to spend the day enjoying the beautiful sea of Ishigaki Island. The guides were also great, sharing recommendations for restaurants during our travels. Since we got caught in the rain, I would like to use this service again if the opportunity arises.

石垣島で海を満喫しようと思いこのアクティビティを見つけました。
ＳＵＰは始めてでしたが、問題なく楽しめました。シュノーケリングも海がすごいきれいで、魚もたくさん泳いでおり貴重な体験でした。
途中雨が降ってしまいましたが、石垣島の綺麗な海を1日満喫でき、参加して良かったと思います。
またガイドの皆さん、移動中にはお勧めの飲食店を教えてもらえて良かったです。
途中雨に降られてしまったので、機会があればまた利用したいと思います。

I waded into the sea up to my thighs and walked for about 10 minutes before finally reaching the entrance of the cave. Once inside, I climbed a large pumpkin with the help of a staff member who supported me on a rope ladder, while water flowed vigorously around us. After that, we applied mud packs all over our faces, and for those who wanted, we jumped from the pumpkin into the sea, making for a fulfilling experience on the tour.

Each group of three had one staff member assigned to them, which made me feel safe both in the sea and inside the cave. Additionally, the staff took photos multiple times during the tour, and I was very pleased to receive the photo data afterward. Since individuals cannot enter the pumpkin hall alone, it was such a wonderful experience that I would love to participate again when I revisit Miyako Island.

One thing to note is that walking in the sea requires a certain level of physical fitness. Also, the original meeting time was 9:30, but I received a call the day before informing me that the meeting time was changed to 7:00 to align with low tide.

海中を太腿くらいまで浸かり、10分位歩いてやっと鍾乳洞の入口に辿り着きました。中に入ると、スタッフの方が支えてくれる縄ばしごをつたって、水が勢いよく流れてくる、大きなパンプキンをよじ登ります。そのあと顔中に泥パックを塗ったり、最後は（希望者だけ）パンプキンからジャンプして海に飛び込むなど、充実した体験ができるツアーでした。
参加グループ３組毎に、スタッフ１名が付いてくれたので、海の中も鍾乳洞の中も、安心できました。また、ツアー中にスタッフの方が何回も写真撮影してくれ、あとから写真データを送信いただけるサービスは、大変嬉しいですね。個人ではパンプキンホールに入れないので、次回宮古島に再訪した際にも再度参加したいと思うほど素晴らしい経験でした。
なお、留意点は、海中を歩くのでそれなりに体力が必要ということ、それから当初の集合時間は9：30でしたが、前日に電話いただき、干潮に合わせるので集合時間が7：00になったことです。

I applied with some anxiety as a typhoon was approaching, but I was able to participate safely and spent a very meaningful half day!

The journey to the entrance of the cave was challenging due to the typhoon's effects, with strong waves, but once inside, I was immediately struck by the mystical sight of the Pumpkin Cave. There were activities like jumping from above the Pumpkin Cave, and the guide was friendly, taking many photos for us. It was a very enjoyable and valuable experience!

台風が接近しており、不安あるの中で申し込みましたが、無事参加することができ、半日近くとても有意義な時間を過ごすことができました！

鍾乳洞入り口までの道のりは台風の影響もあり、波が強く大変でしたが、中に入るとすぐパンプキン鍾乳洞があり、神秘的な光景に感動しました。
パンプキン鍾乳洞の上から飛び込むなどアクティビティもあり、ガイドさんもフレンドリーで写真もたくさんとっていただき、とても楽しく貴重な体験をすることができました！

I walked through the sea to reach the entrance of the cave, but the weather wasn't very good that day, and the waves were high, making it difficult to walk as I wanted. However, it was a fun experience to walk through such a tumultuous sea (laughs).

Inside the cave, there was a trekking course that continued, which was challenging, but the cave was so mystical and truly a wonderful place that it blew away my fatigue. I was able to experience a natural mud pack and fully enjoy the cave (^^). I had been to caves outside of Miyako Island, but this one had a strong sense of adventure, and I was glad to join the tour since I definitely couldn't have made it on my own!

The snorkeling in the second half took place at a different beach, where the waves were calm. Right from the start, I was able to see a sea turtle and even spotted the rare carcass of a sea snake, making it a very enjoyable tour!

海の中を歩いて、鍾乳洞の入り口まで行きますが、この日はあまり天気が良くなくて波が高く、思うように歩けず苦労しました。ただ、こんな荒ぶる海の中を歩く経験もなかなか出来ないので、楽しかったです(笑)
鍾乳洞の中もトレッキングなコースが続き大変ではありましたが、疲れを吹き飛ばすくらい鍾乳洞は神秘的で本当にステキな場所でした。天然の泥パックを体験したり、鍾乳洞を満喫することができました(^^)宮古島以外でも鍾乳洞に行ったことはありましたが、こちらは冒険感が強く、絶対に自力では行くことができないので、ツアーに参加してよかったです！
後半のシュノーケルはビーチを移動し、波は穏やかでした。開始早々ウミガメに会えたり、珍しいウミヘビの死骸も見ることができて、とっても楽しいツアーでした！

First of all, it was fun.
We walked in the sea and went to the Pumpkin Cave, and the sea was moderately rough, which made it enjoyable.
However, it seemed like women and children were struggling a bit.

The tour guide was cheerful, and it was a stress-free experience.

It's a bit vague, but I felt a sense of adventure on the way back, even though I was a little tired. I highly recommend this tour.
If you visit Miyako Island, definitely give it a try!

まずは楽しかったです。
海の中を歩き、パンプキン鍾乳洞まで行ったのですが、適度に海も荒れていて楽しかったです。
ただ女性や子供は苦労しているようでした。

During my first visit to Ishigaki Island, I was looking for activities and found this tour by VELTORA, which offered snorkeling and SUP in one day, so I made a reservation. Since it was my first time using a tour service, I was a bit anxious about whether I would be satisfied, but the guide was really great at getting everyone excited, and the tour itself was very fulfilling. I participated with my boyfriend, and we were able to take some nice photos together. Most importantly, we were taken to places we wouldn't have been able to reach on our own. The guide frequently checked to make sure we were feeling okay, and I learned that even those who aren't good swimmers can receive assistance, so I felt confident about participating. The next time I come to Ishigaki, I would like to join this island-hopping tour.

ツアー利用が初めてだったので満足できるか不安だったのですが、ガイドさんもすごく盛り上げ上手ですし、もちろんツアー自体もすごく納得いくものでした。彼氏との参加でしたが写真もいい感じで撮って頂けましたし、なにより自分たちでは行けないような場所まで連れて行って頂けました。小まめに体調が悪くないか確認して貰えましたし、泳ぎが苦手な方でも補助してもらえるらしいので問題なく参加できるなと思いました。
次石垣に来た際は、こちらの離島ツアーに参加したいと思います。

I was supposed to participate with my son, but the day before, I suddenly fell ill (with a kidney stone), so my son attended alone. When I consulted about whether he could participate by himself, they kindly agreed, which was a great help since my son was looking forward to it. With support from the staff and other participants, he returned home very satisfied, having grown a bit without any injuries. Next time, I would like to take revenge at PIPI as well!

PS: I feel like if I jump from the pumpkin, the stone will come out.

父である私と息子の二人での参加予定でしたが、前日に私が突如体調不良（尿管結石）のため、息子一人での参加となりました。
息子一人で参加させてもらえるか相談したところ、快く引き受けてくれ、息子が楽しみにしていたので、大変助かりました。スタッフ、他の参加者様からのフォローを受けつつ、怪我もなく一回り成長して大満足で帰ってきました。次回は私もまたPIPIさんでリベンジをしたいとおもいます！

　PS 私もパンプキンから飛べば石が出る気がします。

I was looking for activities in Ishigaki Island and participated in this plan. The guides were polite and had great personalities, providing not only information about recommended tourist spots and restaurants during the transfers but also sharing various charms of Ishigaki Island. Additionally, they prepared photos from various scenes, which makes for great conversation topics after the trip. I think this company is especially recommended for those who have never visited Ishigaki Island. I would like to participate in a different plan if I have the opportunity again.

ガイドの皆さん丁寧で人柄も良く、移動中にはお勧めの観光地や飲食店の情報提供だけでなく、様々な石垣島の魅力を教えて頂きました。
また、様々なシーンの写真をご用意頂けるので、旅行後の話題に花が咲きます。
石垣島に訪れた事が無い方には、特にオススメの会社だと思いました。
また機会があったら違うプランでの参加をしてみたいと思います。

The limestone cave that can only be accessed from the sea was definitely a place I wanted to visit when I went to Miyako Island. The cave was surprisingly active, allowing us to climb rocks like bouldering, and on the way back, we jumped into the sea, which made for an adventurous and fun experience. I highly recommend participating in a tour for the Pumpkin Cave. I've heard that there are increasing incidents of people stepping on living coral when visiting individually. Additionally, there are areas within the cave that are sacred and should not be photographed, so there is a possibility of unintentionally violating etiquette. The guide was very pleasant, provided thorough explanations, and paid great attention to the participants, which greatly enhanced the enjoyment of the experience.

After the cave, the snorkeling was accessed from the beach, so I initially thought we wouldn't be able to dive deep, but they took plenty of time to guide us to great spots. The water was surprisingly beautiful, and we saw many sea turtles, fish, and coral. It felt more like swimming alongside the sea turtles rather than just observing them. The guide also took photos of us in the water, and I was thrilled to receive beautifully composed pictures after the tour.

海からしか入れない鍾乳洞、宮古島に行ったら絶対に行きたい場所でした。
鍾乳洞は意外とアクティブに動くところもあって、ボルダリングのように岩を登ったり、帰りは海にジャンプしたり冒険気分ですごく楽しめました。
パンプキン鍾乳洞はぜひツアーでの参加をおすすめします。個人で行って生きている珊瑚を踏んでしまったりする被害が増えているそうです。また鍾乳洞内には神聖な場所として撮影してはいけないエリアもあったり、知らずにマナー違反をしてしまう可能性もあるかもしれません。ガイドさんはとても感じのいい方で、説明も丁寧で参加者にすごく気を配ってくれて楽しさを倍増させてくれました。
鍾乳洞のあとのシュノーケリングはビーチからのアクセスだったので最初は沖で潜るほどの期待はできないかと思ったのですが、たっぷり時間をとっていいポイントまで案内してくれてビーチアクセスとは思えないほどキレイでたくさんウミガメやおさかな、珊瑚も見れました。むしろウミガメは見るというより一緒に泳ぐ感じでした。海でもガイドさんが写真を撮ってくれたのですが、上手に潜ってすごくいい構図の写真をツアー後に送っていただいて感激です。

It was a wonderful time.

I have gone snorkeling many times, but it was my first encounter with a turtle. Moreover, the turtle didn't run away! I was able to spend a relaxing time.

At Pumpkin Cave, we went by canoe to the entrance due to the tide levels. Walking into the sea from there was also a rare experience. Before we set off, I was curious about the guide carrying a rope ladder, but the cave turned out to be deeper than expected, with significant elevation changes, which explained the mystery. The activities inside the cave were well thought out, and I lost track of time enjoying the adventure.

The guide's explanations were easy to understand, and I was able to hear various interesting tidbits. It was a memorable tour that my husband and I, even in our late sixties, thoroughly enjoyed.

最高なひと時でした。

何回もシューノーケリングはやりましたが、カメに出会えたのは初めてでした。しかもカメが逃げない！　ゆったりとした時間を過ごせました。

パンプキン鍾乳洞は、潮位の関係でカヌーで入口付近まで行きました。そこから海を歩いていくというのも珍しい体験でした。出発前にガイドさんが縄梯子を持っていたので気になっていたのですが、鍾乳洞は思いのほか奥が深く、高低差もあり、その謎が解けました。洞内でのアクティビティーも工夫されていて、時間を忘れてアドベンチャーを楽しみました。

ガイドさんの説明もわかりやすく、いろいろなミニ知識も聞くことができました。還暦前後の私たち夫婦でも十分楽しめる思い出に残るツアーでした。

When I came to Miyako, I went snorkeling at the beach! However, the forecast predicted rain. I found this tour that promised fun even in the rain. On the day of the tour, it turned out to be sunny, and choosing this place was definitely the right decision!

The journey to the snorkeling point was quite hard, but I arrived while having fun conversations with the bright and wonderful guide. Once we entered the cave, completely soaked, it felt like stepping into a completely different world. Even though we were underwater, the water was fresh. The cave glowed softly in the darkness, creating a very mystical atmosphere. It was truly a unique experience that I could only have here.

Thank you for the enjoyable time. Although it didn't rain, I believe we would have had fun even if it had!

宮古へ来るとビーチで、シューノーケリング！ですが、この日は雨予報。雨でも楽しめる所を探してこちらのツアーに出会いました。
当日は晴れましたが、ここを選んで大正解！
ポイントまではけっこうハードなのですが、明るくて素敵なガイドのお姉さんと楽しく会話をしているうちに到着。頭までずぶ濡れになって鍾乳洞の中に入ると今までとは全く違う世界が。海の中のはずなのに真水。暗い中にほんのり鍾乳洞が灯るように輝きとても神秘的。正にここでしか出来ない体験をさせていただきました。
楽しい時間をありがとうございます。
雨は降らなかったけど、きっと雨でも楽しめただろうなぁ。と思います。

This year, my mother and her four sons went on our annual summer trip to Miyako Island. We had visited Miyako Island several times when the boys were little, but this was our first visit in a while.

On this day, my eldest son went diving alone. The rest of us wondered what to do since we weren't diving. We decided to try something we hadn't done in Miyako Island before: visit Pumpkin Hall.

We walked through sandy areas and battled the waves to get there, climbed up to the cave while getting completely soaked, and jumped into the sea from about three meters high! Even as a mother in her fifties, I had a blast with my kids and the guide, laughing and forgetting my age.

It was very heartwarming when the guide said, "You all get along so well. It's ideal." That was a memorable moment for me. Meeting such a wonderful guide who added to the fun of our trip with my sons is also a cherished memory from this journey.

Next time we come, I would like to participate in a different tour. Of course, I want to do it with my sons again!

母と4人の息子恒例の夏旅。
今年は５人で宮古島へ。宮古島には息子たちが小さな頃に何度か来ていましたが、今回は久々の宮古島。
この日は長男は１人でダイビング。ダイビングをしないメンバーは何しよう？で、今まで宮古島でやっていないこと！で、パンプキンホールへ行ってみようと言うことになりました。
パンプキンホールまで砂地や波の抵抗を受けながら歩いたり、頭までずぶ濡れで鍾乳洞まで登ったり、３メートル程の高さから海の中まで飛び込んだり！アラフィフ母も子どもたちやガイドのお姉さんとワイワイ、キャーキャーと年を忘れて楽しんでいました。
ガイドのお姉さんに「仲が良いですね。理想です」と言われたのはとても嬉しく思い出に残る言葉でした。
息子たちとの楽しい旅の1コマを彩ってくれた素敵なガイドのお姉さんに出会えたことも今回の旅の思い出になりました。
次に来たときは、また違ったツアーにも参加してみたいと思います。もちろん次も息子たちと！

I went stand-up paddleboarding after snorkeling! I felt a bit unwell during snorkeling, but after taking a good break, I really enjoyed the paddleboarding!! It's a one-day schedule, but I think even those who aren't confident in their physical strength can do it. One thing I appreciated was that after returning the wet shoes I wore for snorkeling, they provided me with a new pair of dry shoes for paddleboarding. It was a small gesture, but it made me very happy! I would like to use this service again!

シュノーケリングからのサップをしました！
シュノーケリングで気分が悪くなってしまいましたが、充分に休憩をとってからサップだったので、サップはかなり楽しめました！！
１日スケジュールですが、体力に自信のない人でも出来ると思います^ ^
いいなと思った点は、シュノーケリングで履いた濡れた靴を一旦お返しするのですが、サップの時はまた乾いた新しい靴を貸してくださり、小さな気遣いながらとても嬉しかったです！
また利用したいです^ ^

We participated as a family of five. We were very satisfied with the activity itself. There were two tour guides, one was a veteran and the other still felt like a novice. Both were really kind. However, it was disappointing that the photos taken by the novice were not great. The camera settings seemed off, as the sand on the beach looked red and desert-like, and our faces appeared flushed. The photos taken by the veteran guide were beautiful, so it was a letdown. Of course, since the photos were taken as a complimentary service, I can't complain, but I regret not taking any photos myself, assuming I would have them taken. I recommend that participants take their own photos as well. Again, I highly recommend the activity!

家族５名で参加しました。アクティビティ自体はとても満足しました。ツアーガイドさんは２名付いて頂き、１名はベテラン、もう１名は未だ新米という感じ。２人とも本当に親切でした。ただ、残念だったのは新米の方に取って頂いた写真。カメラの設定が悪いのか、陸では砂浜が赤く砂漠のようで顔も赤ら顔。水中では海底が緑に。。。もう一人のベテランの方に取って頂いた方の写真はきれいだっただけに残念。もちろんサービスで取って頂いているわけですので、文句は言えないのですが、取ってもらう前提で自分自身では全く写真を撮っていなかったのを後悔。参加する方は自分でも写真撮っておく事をお勧めします。繰り返しますがアクティビティはお勧めです！

We participated with two adults and three children. The youngest child was in fifth grade, but they were kind to the kids, and the children were happy. The SUP was easy on the way out with a tailwind, but on the way back, the headwind made it difficult for the kids to move forward, so all three children were pulled back by the tour guide.

Since the SUP was an introductory experience, it was good for our inexperienced children, but it might be lacking for those with experience. It honestly ended up being about an hour, so we wished we could have played a bit more.

The snorkeling was quite substantial, and we were satisfied with it. Since it was a double-header of SUP and snorkeling, those without stamina might get exhausted.

大人２人、子供３人で参加しました。一番下の子は小学５年生でしたが、子供にも親切に対応してくれて、子供も喜んでいました。SUPは行は追い風で簡単だったのですが、帰りは向かい風の影響で子供は力不足で前に進まず、子供３人ともツアーガイドさんに引っ張って帰ってもらいました(^_^;。
SUPは入門編という事で、未経験のうちの子供には良かったのですが、経験者には物足りないかもしれません。実質１時間程度で終わってしまうので、もう少し色々遊びたかったというのが正直なところ。
シュノーケリングは本格的な内容で満足しました。SUP、シュノーケリングのダブルヘッダーなので、体力の無い人は疲れ果てるかも。

I had a reservation for a 9:30 start, but due to the waves, it was changed to a 16:00 start. They contacted us at least the day before, and they were very sincere in letting us know that there would be no cancellation fee if the new schedule didn't work for us. Even so, the waves and tides were high, so we went to the site by canoe instead of walking. It seems that there are many instances where the activity might not be possible.

We entered through a small entrance, but inside was truly a natural wonder, and I was very moved. It was around August, but it was cold inside, so I recommend wearing a long-sleeve rash guard and long pants. Perhaps because the waves were high, it was much harder than I expected, but it was a fulfilling experience that exceeded my imagination. People from elementary school age to those in their 50s and 60s were participating normally.

9:30スタートで予約していましたが、波の影響で16:00スタートに変更しての実施でした。(遅くとも前日には連絡頂けますし、予定が合わない場合にはキャンセル料はかからないとの真摯な対応でした。)それでも波と潮が高く、歩きではなくカヌーで現地まで行きました。実施できない事も多そうです。
小さな入口から入りましたが中は自然の神秘そのもので大変感動します。8月頃でしたが中は寒いので長袖長ズボンのラッシュガード着用などをお勧めします。波が高かったからか思ったよりもかなりハードでしたが想像よりも満喫できる内容でとても充実した経験をさせてもらえました。(小学生くらいの子から5.60代の方も普通に参加されていました。)

It was thrilling. The captain sometimes acted as the pilot. The boat soared through the air. It was refreshing. The cruising lasted about 80 minutes.

スリルがあります。船長さんは時にはパイロット。飛ばす飛ばす船体が飛びます｡爽快でした。80分程のクルージングでした。

First, we went snorkeling. We gathered at Shinjo Beach, and after a brief explanation, we started swimming right away. A few sea turtles swam close by, and the scenery was wonderful. We also spotted meter-long fish, pufferfish, sea cucumbers, and starfish among other local marine life.
Next, we headed to Pumpkin Cave in our individual cars. We walked through the sea from the beach to reach the cave. This requires quite a bit of physical stamina. Inside the cave, it was a mystical and absolutely beautiful space.
The guide was friendly and fantastic.

まずはシュノーケリングをしました。新城海岸に集合して、簡単な説明のあとさっそく泳ぎました。ウミガメの数匹がすぐ近くを泳いでいて、素敵な景色でした。他にもメートルクラスの魚や、フグ、ナマコ、ヒトデなど身近な魚類も確認できました。
次にパンプキン鍾乳洞に各個人の車で向かいます。海岸から海の中をひたすら歩いて鍾乳洞に向かいました。これはかなり体力が必要かと思います。鍾乳洞の中は神秘的で最高に素敵な空間でした。
ガイドの方も気さくで最高でした。
