My first trip to Hokkaido was wonderful. Coming from a tropical region, it was my first time seeing the snow piled up. Lake Toya, the bear ranch, and Hell Valley were all fantastic. I think our guide, Mr. Onodera, had a tough time explaining in Japanese and Chinese for just two of us out of 32 participants, but he did it without complaint, and I truly appreciate it. I'm thinking of visiting Hokkaido again during the fresh green season, and I plan to use the service again then.

We enjoyed the tour thoroughly. We were lucky enough to be able to go up to the 5th level. It was -8 degrees up there but the views were breathtaking. And we got a close view of Mt. Fuji too.
The souvenir shop offered us complimentary tea on arrival which was lovely and very welcoming. We were each given a little complimentary bell too which is supposed to bring good luck and long life to the owner.
The lunch at Lake Kawaguchiko was really nice too. The food great and the experience of eating out of the bowl while the food was cooking was amazing!

There were people who were 10 minutes late, 20 minutes late, and 5 minutes late, which was quite bothersome. There were several drop-off points, which was very convenient. The staff were also polite and pleasant. I used the same company's regular sightseeing tour last year and it was great, so I would like to use it again next time.

If I had to wish for something, I would have liked meat or fish as the main dish. My biggest concern was the availability of restrooms during traffic jams or bad weather, but there were no traffic jams and plenty of restroom breaks, so I was able to complete the entire journey without any issues. However, I think it would be better to choose a bus with restrooms in the future, as we never know what might happen.

The weather was nice, and I had a very good day. There were 14 people, and while there were some from Asia, it felt like there were more Japanese participants. Since there were few people, we initially had assigned seats, but once we departed, we were allowed to move to any seat we liked.
