The bus guide shared various stories about Hokkaido, which was both educational and enjoyable. It was great to see the winter version of Asahiyama Zoo's animals. Since it was my second visit, I was able to read the exhibits that I couldn't read last time at a leisurely pace. I participated on December 28th. I joined because I wanted to show my partner the Penguin Parade at 2 PM. Since it's only available in winter, I think it's worth seeing. There were many inbound tourists. I wished they would clean the restrooms more frequently. Some were so dirty that they didn't seem like Japanese toilets. 😭

It was a bus tour in heavy snow. Thanks to the driver, we were able to return safely. First, we visited Asahiyama Zoo, but the time felt short. We rushed through, but we were able to see the main attractions, which was good. After that, it started snowing heavily, so taking photos at each stop was cold and challenging, but the guide took great photos for us. We departed from Sapporo early in the morning and it took about two hours to reach Asahiyama Zoo with a break. We could leisurely stay at the zoo for about an hour and a half. The lunch buffet at the herb garden offered a variety of choices, which was enjoyable. Unfortunately, we couldn't stop by the Blue Pond due to time constraints, but the final stop at Shirogane Falls was a perfect way to conclude the tour. On the way back, we were delayed by a traffic accident, so we arrived in Sapporo around 8 PM, but we were able to fully enjoy the day.

I thought it would be more efficient to take a tour rather than driving around Hokkaido with a rental car, so I chose a course that mainly focused on Asahiyama Zoo. In the end, it was the right choice as I was able to visit various famous spots efficiently. I was looking forward to this tour because I was satisfied with the bus tour the day before, but I think the guide was originally from China and spoke for 50 minutes straight in Chinese, which seemed to bewilder the other participants as well. I was able to visit all the places I wanted to go! Since the parking lot at the Blue Pond was crowded, we were suggested to have just our group get out of the car to make the most of our time for sightseeing. Thanks to that, we were able to enjoy our short stay thoroughly. Initially, we planned to end at the Furano Marche, but since it seemed we would finish earlier than our reserved time, I expressed my wish to be dropped off at Furano Station, and they kindly agreed.

This time, I participated in a bus tour during summer vacation. The content of the tour was good, but the lunch buffet I was looking forward to was extremely disappointing. I don't expect high-end ingredients, but I would enjoy it if there were more variety. There were about 20 participants this time, and although there seemed to be enough space on the bus, the seats were narrow and cramped. I thought it would be nice if there was a bit more consideration for that. The return trip to Sapporo took about three hours, and the mountain roads were tough. It would have been better if we had used the expressway earlier to get back a bit faster. It was a bus tour to Asahiyama Zoo, but an hour and a half was surprisingly not enough time.
I think we need to focus on just one activity, like feeding the animals, or else there’s no point in coming here. I would have preferred at least three hours.
I wanted the bus guide to provide necessary information, like what time we would arrive and how to efficiently navigate the zoo. There were times when I confused what was on the left side with the right side while viewing from the bus window, and it felt very unfamiliar.
The stop at the Blue Pond was good.
The buffet was in a large dining hall, but there wasn't anything particularly delicious.
旭山動物園へのバスツアーでしたが、1時間半では想像以上に時間が無さすぎるー
自分達で餌やりなと1つに絞って見ないと、ここへ来た意味がないと思います。
せめて3時間は欲しかったー
