I participated alone, but I had a great time even as a solo traveler! It was really enjoyable not having to deal with the hassle of arranging trains and buses; I could just ride the bus and visit various places. There were many inbound customers, and indeed, there were few Japanese participants, but they provided guidance in Japanese, so I didn't encounter any issues, and I'm glad I signed up. If I have the opportunity, I would like to join another plan next time.

自分で電車やバスの段取りする煩わしさがなくバスに乗ってるだけであちこち回れたのが本当に楽でした。

I was scared to drive on the snowy roads in Hokkaido during winter, so I signed up for a tour. It was great not having to drive, and I could enjoy some drinks during breaks! The guide was from China and mentioned that he would mainly speak Chinese when excited, but he could also speak Japanese and English, so I learned a lot and had a fun trip. On the day I went, about half of the participants were Japanese, and the rest were from China and the Philippines. The weather was nice, and the scenery was beautiful, making it a wonderful memory.

冬の北海道で雪道の運転が怖かったので、ツアーを申し込みました。
運転しなくていいので、休憩でお酒も飲めるし最高でした！
ガイドさんは中国の方で興奮すると中国語がメインになるとおっしゃってましたが、日本語も英語も話せるのでいろいろ教えてもらえて楽しい旅でした。

I participated with my daughter and two adults. We were blessed with good weather and thoroughly enjoyed Asahiyama Zoo. It had been a while since I took a sightseeing bus, but the bus guide had a calm speaking tone, making the journey comfortable. We also had plenty of time at Asahiyama Zoo, so it was great to enjoy it to the fullest. It was a pity that the penguin march had already ended.

Before my son started his job, we had some free time in our schedule, so we took our first and possibly last trip together as just the two of us. Both the guide and the driver were polite and kind, making our visit to Asahiyama Zoo enjoyable. Since it was just the two adults, we even had some extra time. I would love to use this service again if the opportunity arises.

I'm glad I could visit various places. It felt more like quickly going to different spots rather than leisurely sightseeing. I went in late March, so it was particularly cold around the lake. I think it's best to be well-prepared for the cold.

It was a hectic 2-night, 3-day trip to Otaru and Sapporo, so I was looking for a simple tour that would allow us to get around efficiently. Unfortunately, on the 27th, there was terrible wind at Haneda, and one runway was unusable, causing our arrival in Sapporo to be delayed by about an hour and a half. We rushed in without even having lunch, keeping in touch by phone along the way. Given the rough start, I wasn't feeling very enthusiastic, but I was overwhelmed by the power of the Okurayama Jump Stadium. My perspective on ski jumping competitions on TV will definitely change from now on.

There was still snow, and since the dinner restaurant was far, I thought about skipping Mt. Moiwa, but I was captivated by the wonderful view from Sapporo Dome, which offers a panoramic view of the city. In just a short time, I was able to see an impressive view that I couldn't have accessed alone, and I was very satisfied.

On the way back, I was dropped off near the dinner location, for which I was grateful.

2泊3日の小樽、札幌あわただしい旅行でしたので、効率よく回れる簡単なツアーを探しておりました。あいにく２７日は羽田のものすごい風で滑走路が１本使えず、札幌到着が１時間半ほど遅れてしまいました。途中から電話で連絡を取りながら、昼も取らずに駆け込みました。出足からこんな具合でしたので、あまり気が乗りませんでしたが、大倉山ジャンプ場についてその迫力に圧倒されました。今後TVのジャンプ競技を見る目が違います。
雪も残っており、ディナーのお店が遠いので、羊山はいいかなと思っておりましたら、札幌ドーム、市内一望の素晴らしい景色に見とれました。わずかの時間でひとりでは行けない圧巻の景色を見ることができ、大満足でした。
帰りはディナーに近い場所に降ろしていただき、感謝でした。

It was my first trip to Shiretoko, so I couldn't miss the ice floe walk. I had heard that the main season had passed, but I decided to go for it and signed up!

When I participated in the ice floe walk with Picchio, miraculously, the ice floes had returned, and I was able to enjoy it! Picchio was very thorough in not only guiding us through the activity but also teaching us about the nature of Shiretoko, which made for great memories!

While traveling, I enjoyed listening to the guide's stories about the local specialties and history... I was able to have a great time during the travel period. I went on March 18, but unfortunately, the penguin walk was over in the afternoon, so I couldn't see it, but I thoroughly enjoyed the zoo. Next time, I definitely want to visit in mid-winter when I can see the penguin walk for sure, and I would also like to go in different seasons! The guide was simply wonderful. I was impressed by how skillfully they switched between Japanese and Chinese, keeping both Japanese and inbound tourists engaged. They had a wealth of information, and although it wasn't my first time in Hokkaido, I learned many things I didn't know, making it a meaningful day. Unfortunately, at the end at Lake Shikotsu, two inbound guests did not return to the bus by the departure time. The guide made several trips back and forth between Lake Shikotsu and the bus, desperately searching for them, but ultimately, we couldn't make contact until the tour ended, leaving a somewhat unsatisfactory feeling about the tour. I hope the two of them are safe. Thank you to our guide, Onodera, and our driver, Hinata, for a fun tour.

The pick-up, reception, valuables storage, pre-lecture, and support for putting on and taking off the dry suits were all very smooth. During the tour, a young female guide led the participants, taking various photos and providing lectures about the drifting ice on the ice, making the experience engaging. The participants included an older, slightly overweight pair of Chinese women (accompanied by a Japanese interpreter), a young couple, and four individuals (men and women in their 30s to 60s, including myself), and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.

On the day (February 20), I planned to move to Abashiri and board the Aurora icebreaker, but since there was no drifting ice in Abashiri and the weather was bad, I did not board. (I also boarded the Aurora in early March the previous year, but there was no drifting ice then either, and it was a sightseeing cruise.) Utoro is recommended as it has a longer drifting ice season compared to Abashiri and Monbetsu.

当日(2/20)午後、網走に移動し砕氷船オーロラに乗るつもりでしたが、網走は流氷がなく悪天候の中の遊覧クルーズになったので、乗船しませんでした。(前年の3月頭にもオーロラに乗ったが、その時も流氷はなく遊覧クルーズでした)
ウトロは網走・紋別に比べ流氷のシーズンが長いので、お勧めです。

I participated with my girlfriend. I was wondering whether to take the train from Sapporo, but the transfers were inconvenient and it would take quite a bit of time and money, so I chose the bus. This was the right choice. You might think it takes a long time, but it actually takes the same amount of time by train. It was inexpensive, and we could get off in the downtown area on the way back, making dinner reservations easy. We also got to see the much-anticipated penguin parade up close, which was really great.

This time, we were the only Japanese among all the participants, who were mostly from overseas. However, the tour guide was very considerate and kept us entertained throughout. The sightseeing content was great, and although it was very cold that day, we were fortunate with the weather, which was really nice. It's rare!

At the zoo, I was really moved to see the wolves, which I had wanted to see. The big cats were also very entertaining and engaging. The Shirahige Falls was a breathtaking sight that can only be seen in winter, and I think anyone going to Hokkaido should definitely see it. I have been to Hokkaido more than ten times, but this was my first time participating in a day trip bus tour. I have been to Lake Shikotsu and Lake Toya in the summer, but the winter scenery was breathtaking. The overall course setting was excellent, and both the driver and the guide were kind and attentive. The lunch was also great, and it was the best experience. I would love to participate again if I have the chance.

My husband found this tour online, and at first, I wasn't very enthusiastic about it. I have a fear of the ocean, and I couldn't believe I would be getting into freezing cold water. However, once I actually experienced it, all my worries disappeared, and I was able to play joyfully.

I was happy to walk on the vast sea ice and get into the water; it was a wonderful experience. Although I had some concerns due to my age, I am grateful for the once-in-a-lifetime experience. Thank you very much.

でした。私は海は苦手だしましてや極寒の海の中に入るなんて信じられません

I had a wonderful time enjoying the unusually warm weather for Hokkaido.

I was impressed by the clear waters of Lake Shikotsu and excited by the encounter with a herd of fawns, which allowed me to feel the richness of Hokkaido's nature.

Also, at Showa Shinzan and the Usuzan Ropeway, I lost track of time while exploring and unfortunately couldn't make it to the bear ranch.

The "mushroom soup" from the Mushroom Kingdom that the guide recommended was truly delicious, and the lunch was also very satisfying with its generous portions.

The three-day weekend coincided with the Sapporo Snow Festival, making everywhere bustling with activity. Foreign languages were flying around, and it felt like being in another country. About 20% of the bus tour guests were Japanese, while the rest were mostly Chinese. The bus guide was also Chinese, alternating between Japanese and Chinese for the announcements.

The highlight of our main destination, Asahiyama Zoo, was the King Penguin walk! When we arrived a little before the start time, we were guided by the staff to the end of the line. There was already a long queue, reminiscent of waiting for a star to make an appearance.

The group of a dozen penguins passed by in no time, and they were incredibly adorable. The polar bear was active, never staying still in the snow. We thoroughly enjoyed the snowy scenery at the subsequent sightseeing spots, making it a wonderful trip.

三連休と札幌雪祭りの時期であったこともあり、どこも賑わっていました。

1番の目的地であった旭山動物園のハイライトはキングペンギンのウォーキング！開始時間少し前に行くと、係の人に誘導されながら列の最後尾に向かいました。既に長〜い列が出来ていて、さながらスターの登場を待つようでした。
十数羽のペンギンの御一行はあっと言う間に通り過ぎましたが、とても愛らしかった。
ポーラーベアは雪の中で、ひと時もじっとしていなくてアクティブでした。
その後の観光地でも雪景色を存分に楽しみよい旅になりました。

It was a very meaningful and enjoyable tour that gave me a great understanding of Noboribetsu Hell Valley. There were many things I would not have learned just by sightseeing on my own, and I felt the love for Noboribetsu through the guide's wonderful smile and explanations. The 70 minutes flew by, and I thought I would like to visit Noboribetsu again.

It was my first time wearing a dry suit, so I felt a bit awkward until I got used to it, but I was able to fully enjoy the ice floe walk without feeling cold at all. The staff were kind and took a lot of photos for us. The photos they took were linked on the Picchio blog that night, and we could access them with a password provided only to the participants of that day. It was very convenient to be able to download the photos taken with other participants as well. If you're visiting Shiretoko during the ice floe season, I definitely recommend joining this experience.

ドライスーツを着るのが初めてだったので慣れるまで少し動きづらかったのですが、寒さを感じることも無く流氷ウォークを思う存分楽しむことが出来ました。
スタッフさんが親切で写真も沢山撮ってくださいました。撮ってくださった写真は当日の夜にピッキオさんのブログにリンクが貼られ、各回の参加者だけに伝えられたパスワードで開くことが出来るようになっていました。他の参加者さんと一緒に撮った写真もダウンロードすることが出来てとても便利でした。流氷の時期に知床を訪れる方はぜひ参加してみてください。

The scale was smaller compared to the Snow Festival, but it's hard to express in words, so please check the photos. The journey included encounters with deer and sights like Lake Shikotsu, making the trip to the venue full of highlights.

It seems you can also get there using public transportation, but considering the cold and the thought of waiting in line, it was a great success to follow the advice and go with the tour. The guide was very friendly and introduced us to various attractions, making for a truly enjoyable time.

I used this service while staying in Sapporo for my child's entrance exam. It was convenient for me as it allowed for a day trip with a meeting and dispersal point at Sapporo Station.

The variety of animals was limited, and there were not many, so it felt like seeing them in their natural state. The bus guide on the way there and back had a gentle speaking style, which was enjoyable. I was concerned that there were no restrooms on the bus, but there was a restroom break at just the right time, so it wasn't an issue.

Most of the other passengers were Japanese, so the bus was quiet. At Asahiyama Zoo, there was enough time to look around. The snow often stopped, and we were fortunate with the weather. The ground was slippery in many places, and since the zoo is not flat but on a slope, I walked carefully. I felt like I was more concerned about my footing than the animals.

There were some people who fell over. The souvenir shops had a variety of products; the bus guide mentioned that all shops sell the same items, but when I asked the stores, they said the companies were different, so the products varied.

I think this is a perfect course for a day trip from Sapporo. I highly recommend it!

日帰りで、札幌駅前集合解散が出来たので自分にぴったりだったため便利でした。
動物達は種類は多くなく、数は少なくて自然の姿を拝見する感じでした。
行き帰りのバスガイドさんは穏やかな話し方で楽しかったです。
トイレがバス車内にないのが気掛かりでしたが、ちょうどよい時間にトイレ休憩があり問題ありませんでした。
同じ利用客は日本人が多かったので車内は静かでした。
旭山動物園では見て回るには十分な時間がありました。雪は止んでる事が多く、天候にも恵まれ良かったです。
地面は滑りやすいところも多く動物園が平地ではなく、斜面？なので慎重に歩きました。動物よりも足元ばかり気になっていたように思います。
ひっくり返ってる方もいました。
お土産屋さんは、バスガイドさんはどこも同じ商品が売ってると仰ってましたが、お店に聞くと、会社が違うため商品も違うとのこと、その通り様々でした。
札幌から日帰りでちょうどよいコースだと思います。ぜひどうぞ。

I booked a trip to Hokkaido with my son without knowing much about the area, but it turned out to be a great decision as we were able to efficiently and enjoyably visit various tourist spots!

Especially, our guide, Mr. Gyoda, was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our detailed questions about the sights with care, precision, and a personal touch. While the content of the trip is important, what made it truly rewarding was receiving such high-quality service from our guide, which made me feel like I really got my money's worth.

息子との2人旅、北海道の事がよくわからずとりあえず申し込みましたが、効率よく楽しく観光地を回る事ができ、大正解でした！
