I think this is the perfect tour for traveling around Kushiro in winter without a rental car. You can visit all the main spots, and you can also get dropped off at Akanko Onsen, which serves as a way to the airport. I was moved by the magnificent scenery and enjoyed the wonderful narration from the veteran bus guide (and their a cappella singing).

冬の釧路を、レンタカーの足無しで旅行するには最適なツアーだと思う。
一通りのスポットを回れる上に、阿寒湖温泉でドロップオフも出来るし、空港までの足を兼ねることもできる。
壮大な光景に感動＆ベテランバスガイドさんの素晴らしいナレーション（＆アカペラの歌）で楽しめました。

I participated in a taxi sightseeing tour on February 12 and 13. On the first day, I was picked up at Memanbetsu Airport without any wait at all. The sightseeing included the Abashiri Prison and the Drift Ice Museum, and I was able to see the drift ice at Cape Notoro. The scenery was wonderful. I was also given recommendations for dining options near my hotel. The next day, I efficiently toured places like Bihoro Pass, Lake Kussharo, and Lake Mashu. The views were also fantastic. Along the way, I was recommended a ramen shop in Teshikaga, which was very delicious. The taxi driver was very kind and courteous.

Winter in Abashiri was the best. I would like to see similar places in a different season, so I have already made another reservation. Thank you very much.

初日は女満別空港まで迎えに来ていただき、待つことは全くありませんでした。観光は、網走刑務所や流氷館に加えて能取岬で流氷が見れました。素晴らしい景色でした。泊まるホテルの近辺で食事ところも教えて頂きました。翌日は美幌峠、屈斜路湖、摩周湖など、効率的に観光できました。これも素晴らしい景色でした。また、途中、弟子屈のラーメン屋さんを教えて頂き、とても美味しかったです。
タクシーの運転手さんがとても親切で丁寧でした。

冬の網走、最高でした。
今度は、同じような場所を季節を変えて見てみたいと思い、早速申し込みました。

The course included Kitten no Oka Abashiri Lake Tsuruga Resort, Abashiri Lake Lakeside, Okhotsk Drift Ice Museum, Abashiri Prison Museum, and took about three hours. Along the way, we received detailed local sightseeing information, which was very helpful. At the prison museum, we parked close to the exit and were guided all the way to the entrance, allowing us to navigate the spacious grounds without getting lost and return on time. We arrived at the airport about 10 minutes earlier than planned, giving us some extra time. I considered renting a car, but given the unfamiliar snowy roads and the hassle of picking up and returning the vehicle, I would highly recommend a chartered taxi with door-to-door service and sightseeing guidance, even if it is slightly more expensive.

北天の丘あばしり湖鶴雅リゾート→網走湖湖畔→オホーツク流氷館→網走監獄博物館→女満別空港の3時間コースでした。道中では地元ならではの観光案内も詳しくして頂き、大変参考になりました。監獄博物館では出口に近い駐車場に停めて貰いわざわざ入口まで案内して頂き広い敷地内迷うことなく時間内に戻って来られました。空港までは予定よりも10分ほど早く余裕を持って到着しました。レンタカーも考えましたが慣れない雪道と借＆返却の手間を考えたら多少は割高では有りますがドアツードアで観光案内付きのタクシー貸切はお勧めしたいです

Asahiyama Zoo was not crowded and I enjoyed it. I was disappointed that I couldn't experience the polar bear dome due to COVID. The guide and the driver were moving us along quickly, even though we were ahead of schedule, which made me feel uncomfortable. When we stopped by "Ningle Terrace," it was closed and the lights were off.

In the morning, one of the participants asked, "Aren't we going to the Blue Pond?" and the response was, "This tour does not go there." The guide then said something like, "Why is it closed? We should at least borrow the restroom." Another participant mentioned that the tour company had notified them that "Ningle Terrace" is closed at this time of year, so they would be going to the Blue Pond instead. The guide responded, "I didn't hear that from the company!" and then said, "I didn't know that. We're going back the way we came to go to the Blue Pond, everyone please cooperate." As a result, we ended up significantly delayed from our scheduled return time.

I felt so uncomfortable being rushed like that, only to end up returning later than planned, which made what should have been a fun trip feel disappointing.

旭山動物園は空いていて楽しめました。
シロクマのドームをコロナで体験できなかったことが残念でした。
ガイドさんと運転手さんが、予定時間より早く移動できているのに、終始、巻きで移動させる感じでなんだか嫌だなぁと思っていたところ、「ニングルテラス」に立ち寄ったら明かりがついてなく閉まっていました。
朝の段階で、参加者のひとりが、「青い池には行かないのですか」と尋ねたところ、
「このツアーは行かない」と言うやりとりがありました。
ガイドさんは、「なんで、あいてないの。トイレだけでも借りましょう」的なことを言ってきました。
また、参加者の方が、「今の時期
「ニングルテラス」はしまっているから青の池に行くってツアー会社からの通知にある」とお話しされたところ、
ガイドさんは「会社から聞いてない！」といった後、「会社から聞いてなかった。今から、元来た道を戻り青の池に行く、皆さんご協力ください」といい、結果、終了時間は予定時刻から大幅に遅れました。
あんなに不快に感じる位巻きで移動させられたのに、結果帰る時間が遅くなるとはと思い、楽しい旅行が悲しい気持ちになりました。

Despite the sudden increase in COVID-19 infections and the precarious travel situation due to national measures, we were taken care of with great attention and care. My spouse and I are extremely grateful and moved by this experience. We were very happy.

急なコロナ感染増に伴い、国の対策等危うい旅行の最中ではありましたが注意に注意を重ねながら丁寧に対応して、連れて行って下さり夫婦二人して超とても感謝感激でありました。嬉しかったです。

This time, since I was traveling with my parents, I requested a jumbo taxi for COVID-19 measures.

The person in charge was very kind. They shared various stories with us, and the night view was wonderful. There were few people around, so it wasn't crowded, and they provided guidance to places I was considering skipping, which was really great!☆

I was a bit worried about the tour due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but it was carried out with a small group, and we were able to relax comfortably during the journey.

Of course, Asahikawa Zoo was great.

I had no interest in paintings at all, but I was pleasantly surprised by Professor Goto's museum. Additionally, we had lunch at the restaurant in a location that felt like we were looking at a landscape painting. It was very delicious and truly enriched my heart.

In the morning, I selfishly asked if we could stop by to see the illuminations on the way back, and the bus driver kindly remembered my request. We were able to enjoy the beautiful illuminations from the warm bus.

Thank you very much. Thanks to you, I had a very satisfying trip to Hokkaido. And I truly appreciate the long-distance driving.

コロナ禍でツアーは少々心配でしたが
少人数でも決行してくださり
移動中も車中ではゆったり過ごせました。

旭川動物園はもちろん、

全く絵画には興味がなかったのですが

後藤先生の美術館が思いのほか素晴らしく
また、同レストランで
風景画を見ているようなロケーションでの昼食。
大変美味しくすごく心が豊かになりました。

朝、帰りイルミネーションをみたいから
可能であればそちらを回って欲しいと
わがまま言ったのを
バスの運転手さんは覚えててくださり、
暖かい車中から綺麗なイルミネーションを見ることも
出来ました。


本当にありがとうございました
お陰で大満足の北海道旅行でした。
そして、長距離の運転本当にお疲れ様でした。

From the bus window, I was able to see wild Japanese cranes and deer. The Japanese cranes seemed to have a good bond as I always saw them in pairs. With the guide's stories, I was able to learn about the Japanese cranes, Kushiro Wetland, and various tourist attractions in a fun way. I was able to visit many famous places, including Mashu Station, Lake Akan, Lake Kussharo, and Mount Io, and I had a truly wonderful time.

バスの車窓から野生のタンチョウ鶴や鹿の姿を見る事が出来ました。タンチョウ鶴はつがいの仲が良いらしく、見かけた時は必ず2羽一組でいました。ガイドさんのお話もあり、タンチョウ鶴や釧路湿原、観光名所についても楽しく知ることが出来ました。摩周駅、阿寒湖、屈斜路湖、硫黄山と多くの名所を巡ることが出来、とても素晴らしい時間を過ごせました。

The schedule was just perfect. The zoo, the Blue Pond in Biei, lunch, and all-you-can-eat melon were all enjoyable experiences! Since it was late October, the autumn leaves visible along the highway were incredibly beautiful. The cold was quite intense, and it seems that people in Hokkaido don't think it's cold, as they dress lightly and don't seem to use heating anywhere, so it's best to dress warmly! A down jacket was the best choice!

Especially at Asahiyama Zoo, it's mostly outdoors with few buildings to block the wind, so be careful of the strong gusts! The Blue Pond is also quite far by car, and it's too cold to stay outside for long. Walking on the unstable ground for a bit meant we didn't need to stay for more than 10 minutes, so joining the tour was definitely the right choice. The driver was kind and considerate. The melon was surprisingly sweet. All-you-can-eat is quite a bargain! There were also coupons included, so I thought it was a great value!

スケジュールは全てちょうどよかったです。
動物園、美瑛の青い池、お昼＆メロン食べ放題、どれも連れて行っていただけて楽々でした！
10月後半なので、途中高速道路などで見れる紅葉が半端なく綺麗でした。
寒さは半端なく、多分またま北海道の方は寒いと思わないのか薄着＆どこへ行っても暖房付けない様である為、かなり着込んで行った方が良いです！ダウンがベストでした！
特に旭山動物園はほぼ屋外、周りに建物等遮るものが少なく、強風直あたりなので気をつけてください！
青い池も車で遠いし降りても寒すぎるし、地面が不安定なところを少し歩くので、滞在時間10分もいらなくてよかった感じなのでツアーで大正解かと。
ドライバーさんも優しく気遣いのある方でした。
メロンも甘くてびっくりしました。食べ放題だなんてかなりお得！
クーポンもついてるし、コスパ良いと思いました！

I participated in the last Pirika tour of the summer season. Due to COVID-19 measures, hand sanitization was required upon boarding, and solo travelers were seated by the window. It was a great tour that compactly covered the difficult-to-access areas of Lake Mashu, Mount Io, Lake Kussharo, and Lake Akan, which are hard to visit by regular buses. We made it in time for the 1 PM sightseeing boat at Lake Akan and returned to the meeting point by 3 PM, where we were taken back to Kushiro. We received discount coupons for the sightseeing boat. You can also disembark at Lake Akan or Kushiro Airport. This time, many restaurants were closed due to COVID-19, so I hope to visit again when the restaurants are open and during early summer.

夏シーズン最後のピリカ号に参加してきました。コロナ禍対応で、 乗車時には手の消毒をし、一人客は窓際席に座ります。 路線バスでは周遊が難しい摩周湖・硫黄山・屈斜路湖・阿寒湖をコンパクトに押さえたいいツアーでした。この時は 13時発の阿寒湖遊覧船に間に合い、15時に集合場所に戻り釧路まで連れて帰ってもらいました。 遊覧船の割引クーポンが貰えます。 阿寒湖で離脱、釧路空港で離脱することもできます。 今回はコロナ禍で飲食店もほとんど休業だったので、次回は飲食店がオープンして尚且つ初夏に訪れたいです。

I'm glad we were able to go during a time when the weather was nice and the autumn leaves were beautiful. The guide's explanations were very easy to understand, and we were able to appreciate the charm of Hokkaido more than if we had toured on our own. Personally, I recommend sitting on the driver's side.

お天気も良く、紅葉も綺麗な時期に行けて良かったです。
ガイドのお姉さんの説明も凄くわかりやすくて、自分達だけで観光するより北海道の魅力が伝わりました。
個人的には、運転手さん側のお席の方がオススメです。

The long-awaited Lake Mashu and Mount Iou were truly wonderful. They are definitely worth seeing at least once. Lake Akan is filled with wood carving shops, and if you're not interested, it can be boring. There are no restaurants where you can eat with peace of mind, and there aren't any cafes to take a break. If you're just looking for sightseeing boats and hot springs, it might be okay.

念願の摩周湖と硫黄山は大変良かった。一度 是非見るべきでしょう。阿寒湖は木彫りの店ばかりで、興味が無いと退屈です。食事するにも 安心 して入れる店は無く、ちょっと休めるカフェもありません。観光船と温泉だけなら良いかも知れません。

During my three-day trip to Kushiro, I decided to spend a full day participating in this bus tour.

I think it's the perfect tour for travelers who don't use a car. We visited three lakes in one day, and the time allocation was just right. The bus was comfortable, allowing us to relax under the blue sky and enjoy a wonderful time.

We also saw the red-crowned crane and the Ezo deer!

The driver and the guide (a young woman) were both great. The guide was skilled at talking and singing. Since it was my first time in Hokkaido alone, her various stories were very informative and helpful.

At the last stop, Lake Akan, we had the option to leave the tour, take a sightseeing boat, and then ride a local bus back to Kushiro. A few people chose that option. It seems that to see the real marimo, you need to go to the Marimo Observation Center on an island in Lake Akan, so taking the sightseeing boat there would definitely be a good idea.

The guide mentioned several times that winter is also wonderful, and encouraged us to come back in a different season, which made me want to visit in winter as well.

釧路二泊三日の旅で、実質丸々使える一日を、このバスツアー参加にしました。

車を使わない旅行者には、最適なツアーだと思います。三つの湖を一日で廻るのですが、時間配分もちょうど良く、今、バスはゆったり座れるので、青空の下、リラックスして、とても良い時間を過ごせました。

タンチョウヅルとエゾシカも見えました！

運転手さん、ガイドさん（若い女性）とも、いい方で、ガイドさんは、話も上手で歌も上手。一人の初めての北海道だったので、いろんな話は、とても参考になり良かったです。

最後の阿寒湖では、ツアーを離脱して、遊覧船に乗り、自分で路線バスに乗って釧路へ帰るのも、選べ、数人がそちらへ行きました。本物のマリモは、阿寒湖の中にある島の、マリモ観察センターへ行かないと見れないそうなので、遊覧船に乗ってそちらへ行くのも、是非いいでしょうね。

ガイドさんが、冬はまたとってもいいんですよ、違う季節にも是非来てください、と何度も言っていたので、冬にも行ってみたくなりました。

It was an incredibly fun ride, and since I don't get to do it often, I thought this was a great opportunity for my second time on a rickshaw! They took photos for me and provided explanations about the town, which was really helpful. I would love to do it again next time!

めちゃくちゃ楽しい乗り物でなかなか乗れないのでこの機会にと思い人生2度目の人力車でした‼️写真を撮って頂けたり、街並みの説明などほんと重宝しました。次回もお願いしたいと思います

The tour content was good. However, I was disappointed that the bus was a microbus. We couldn't maintain distance from other participants, and since there were elderly people in the group, I really wished they had provided a proper sightseeing bus that allowed for spacing, especially during these times. I understand that it's tough with the increasing number of infections, but that aspect was truly disappointing.

ツアー内容は良かったです。ただ、バスがマイクロバスでがっかりです。
他の参加者とも間隔を開けられないし、高齢の方もいたので、こんな時だからこそ、ちゃんと間隔をあけられる観光バスにしてほしかったです。
感染者が増えてるので、大変なのもわかりますが、そこだけはほんと残念でした。

The bus tour in the Kushiro area was enjoyable and relaxed, with a fun bus guide and a careful driver! We also encountered many animals like the Japanese crane and Ezo deer.

釧路地域を気軽に楽しめるバスツアーで、バスガイドさんのお話も楽しく運転手さんの運転も丁寧で良かった！タンチョウやエゾシカ等生き物にもたくさん出会えます。

I arranged for an 8-hour sightseeing tour starting at 9 AM to match my transfer from Memanbetsu Airport to Shiretoko. During the journey to the hotel in Shiretoko, we efficiently visited famous spots such as Lake Akan, Lake Mashu, Iouzan, Lake Kussharo, the Road to Heaven, and the Oshinkoshin Waterfall.

At Lake Akan, I enjoyed a sightseeing boat ride, and the view of the autumn leaves from the boat was wonderful. At Lake Mashu and the Road to Heaven, we made good use of our time for photography at the scenic viewpoints.

女満別空港から知床までの移動に合わせて、9時から8時間の観光をお願いしました。
　知床のホテルまでの間、阿寒湖、摩周湖、硫黄山、屈斜路湖、天に続く道、オシンコシンの滝と名所を要領よく巡っていただきました。
　阿寒湖では遊覧船にのって、船上から見る紅葉がよかったです。摩周湖や天に続く道では絶景ポイントでの撮影と時間を有効に使えました。

One of the great things about a bus tour is that you can relax and enjoy the scenery or even take a nap while traveling. After walking around the zoo and working up an appetite, I indulged in a luxurious lunch featuring Hokkaido's famous Genghis Khan from the selection of available meals, followed by a filling dessert of melon. Both my eyes and my taste buds were satisfied.

移動中はのんびり景色を見たりお昼寝もできちゃうのがバスツアーのいいところ。動物園で歩いてお腹を空かせたところで、選べる昼食のなかから北海道名物のジンギスカンを堪能してメロンでお腹一杯という贅沢な昼食。
目も口も満足でした。

Since it was just the two of us, it was smooth to get around, and we were able to return earlier than the scheduled time, which gave us some extra time for dinner. The driver was also very kind, and it was truly a great tour. I recommend it to everyone.

I wanted to travel from Kushiro to Lake Akan, and I found this tour just in time to use it. I would have appreciated a stop at Kushiro Marsh if possible, but overall, I was able to see the highlights at a comfortable pace. The bus guide was very dedicated in their explanations, which I found pleasant. It's also great that there are multiple pick-up points in the morning.

釧路から阿寒湖まで移動したかったところ、ちょうどこのツアーを見つけて利用しました。釧路湿原は可能だったら停車してもらえるとありがたかったですが、その他はある程度ゆっくり見どころを見ることができました。バスガイドさんも一生懸命説明されていて好感をもてました。朝のピックアップポイントも複数あるのでありがたいです。

However, our names were not on the passenger list for the Akan bus. It wasn't fully booked, so it was fine, but I wonder whose oversight it was, Akan bus or Veltra?

I participated in this tour as a solo traveler without a car. I joined during the September 2020 holiday, and with two buses operating at less than 50% capacity, they took COVID-19 precautions seriously.

In the morning, I enjoyed fried sweet potatoes and cut melon at Lake Mashu. At Sulfur Mountain, I had eggs and soft serve ice cream, indulging in Hokkaido's (B-class?) gourmet food.

I chose to leave the tour at Lake Mashu and took a local bus back. This allowed me to extend my stay by an hour, during which I walked along the lakeshore, enjoyed a hot spring, had some tea, and returned to Kushiro Station around 6 PM.

I appreciated the scenic views from the bus, and I think it was a cost-effective tour that properly covered highlights like Lake Kussharo.

車無しの一人旅で、参加しました。2020年9月連休に参加して、バス2台で乗車率は50％未満と、コロナ対策はとられていました。
午前中から、摩周湖ではあげいもとカットメロンを。硫黄山では卵とソフトクリームをいただきまして、北海道(B級？)グルメも満喫できました。
摩周湖ではツアーから離脱して、路線バスで戻ることを選択しました。滞在時間を1H延ばすことができて、湖畔を散歩して、温泉に入って、お茶して、釧路駅に18時頃に戻りました。
車窓の景色も楽しめるし、屈斜路湖とか見所をきちんと回っていただいて、コスパもよいツアーだと思います。

I participated in mid-October. The autumn leaves were almost gone, but the weather was favorable overall. However, since the temperature was low, I think it's better to dress warmly. Lake Mashu was clear without any fog, and it looked very vivid.

10月中旬に参加しました。紅葉は終わりかけでしたが、天気にも恵まれ全体的に良かったです。ただ、気温が低いので暖かい格好をした方がいいと思います。摩周湖は霧がなく、とてもクッキリと見えました。

I used this for traveling to Akan Lake Onsen. I'm glad I was able to visit Akan Lake, Kussharo Lake, and Mashu Lake. There are plenty of highlights, such as Mount Io and Kawayu. I could see cranes and cows from the window. The tour guide provided various explanations.

阿寒湖温泉までの移動に使いました。
阿寒湖　屈斜路湖　摩周湖をすべて周れてよかった。硫黄山や川湯など見どころが満載です。
車窓からはタンチョウや牛が観えました。添乗員さんがいろいろ説明してくれます。

It was great.
The scenery from the canal cruise looked different and was quite impressive.
I was just disappointed that I couldn't take a photo of myself on the boat.

We were blessed with clear weather, and I was moved by the stunning view of Lake Mashu. Above all, the role of the guide is crucial when it comes to sightseeing buses. This time, we had a veteran guide whose fluent storytelling captivated us, and we had a wonderful and enjoyable time. There was a stop at Sulfur Mountain in the itinerary, but I thought it could have been skipped.

晴天に恵まれ、摩周湖がしっかりと見えて感動しました。そして何よりも観光バスと言ったらガイドさんの占める割合が重要。このたびはベテランでのガイドさんで、流暢な話に聞き入りとても楽しい、素晴らしい時間を過ごすことができました。
行程のなかに、硫黄山がありましたが、なくても良いと思いました。

It was my family's first trip to Hokkaido, and although we were worried about COVID, we had no problems and were able to see a lot of things. My family was really happy. The all-you-can-eat melons were the best—sweet and incredibly delicious. The Blue Pond and Shirahige Falls were very beautiful. I want to use Veltra for my next trip.

The weather was bad, and I couldn't see anything at Lake Mashu because of the fog. At Lake Akan, I couldn't enjoy the beautiful scenery due to the rain. However, I was able to see a red-crowned crane along the way.

天気が悪く、摩周湖は霧で何も見えませんでした。阿寒湖は、雨で綺麗な景色を見ることができませんでした。
でも、途中タンチョウ鶴を見ることができました。

"I was told by a local, 'It will be sunny tomorrow, so you'll definitely be able to see Lake Mashu,' and it turned out just like that. I also had enough time to buy souvenirs, so I didn't have to rush. It was a lot of fun. Thank you very much."

「明日は晴れるからきっと摩周湖が見れるよ」と前日に地元の方に言われて、その通りになりました。お土産もしっかり買う時間もあったのでバタバタしなくて済みました。楽しかったです。有難うございました。
