The experience was enjoyable. The captain was also a great storyteller and very entertaining. Although we couldn't enter the Blue Cave, we got very close to it, and the view was absolutely stunning!

↓ Here are some suggestions for improvement:

1. The life jackets smelled bad.
2. The interior of the boat, including the cushions, didn't feel clean (haven't they been washed?).
3. The music was too loud.
4. The windows were dirty, making it hard to see the scenery.

The heat added to it, and I got seasick right after boarding. Other families also seemed to struggle, with mothers and children looking very uncomfortable.

Ninety minutes is quite long, so we should have taken some measures before boarding.

I apologize for the harsh feedback. I believe many Japanese people prefer a clean environment. I'm sure that if improvements are made, you'll see a significant increase in repeat customers. Good luck!

青の洞窟には入れませんでしたが、洞窟付近まで行ってくれてとても絶景でした！

①ライフジャケットがくさい
②船内もクッションなど清潔な感じがしなかった（洗ってない？）
③音楽が音が大きすぎる
④窓の汚れなのか景色が見にくい

暑さも重なって乗ってすぐに船酔いをしてしまいました。
他のファミリーの方達もお母さんとお子さんがすごく辛そうでした。

90分はとても長いので、
何か対策をして乗るべきでした。


厳しい評価ごめんなさい。
日本人は清潔な環境を好む方が多いと思います。
きっと改善したらリピーターさんがすごく増えると思います。

My 6-year-old grandson hid in the corner of the boat when the waves came, but he was happy. We also had fun playing in the shallow water. We were able to slowly enjoy nature with the gentle current. I think it was great that we experienced a little thrill with the waves splashing.

6歳の孫は波が来るとボートの隅に隠れてしまいましたが、喜んでいました。
浅瀬で水遊びも出来て楽しかったです。
緩やかな流れでゆっくり自然を満喫出来ました。少々の波があってザバーンとスリルも体験出来たので良かったと思います。

The temperature was low, but I felt warmer than I expected. However, the guide's explanations were excellent, and I learned a lot of things. The quiz time was also fun. There were two groups from Japan, one from Singapore, and one from Taiwan, so we were quite mixed, but the explanations in Japanese, English, and Mandarin were impressive!

気温は低かったけど、思った以上に暑く感じました。しかしながらガイドさんの説明が上手く、色んな事が知れました。クイズタイムも楽しかった。同行は、日本二組、シンガポール一組、台湾一組とバラバラでしたが、日本語、英語、北京語まじえての説明はさすがですね～

It was a wonderful tour where I could learn about the nature, history, wildlife, and plants of Shiretoko while receiving explanations right in front of me. The guide's explanations were thorough, and the three hours flew by. It was also a good workout, so if I have the chance to visit Shiretoko again, I would like to participate once more.

知床の自然、歴史、生き物、植物について目の前で解説をしていただきながら学ぶことのできる素晴らしいツアーでした。ガイドの方の説明は丁寧で、3時間あっという間でした。いい運動にもなりましたので、また知床に来る機会があったら参加したいと思います。

On the day of the event, due to the wind, there were large waves at Lake Shikotsu, so we kayaked on the Chitose River instead, which was also very beautiful and satisfying.
There were many participants, but the check-in process was smooth, which was great.
The instructor was also very attentive, engaging with all the participants appropriately, and he sent us photos at the end via AirDrop.

当日は風の影響で支笏湖は大きな波が立っていたため、千歳川でのカヤックでしたが、千歳川もすごく綺麗で満足です。
参加人数は多かったですが受付もスムーズでよかったです。
インストラクターのお兄さんも、参加者全員に程よく声掛けをしてくださり、写真も最後にエアドロで送ってくれました。

The guide's stories were enjoyable, and it was fun to spot distant birds together. Since we chose the early morning tour, there were no lines for the canoe, and we were able to experience the chirping of the birds and the grandeur of nature. We encountered kingfishers and white-tailed eagles, making the 90 minutes fly by.

A foreign captain who speaks Japanese played music and set sail! It felt like being in a theme park, and then as a service, the ship tilted dramatically to the left and right while speeding forward, making it feel like we were on an attraction. We couldn't enter the Blue Cave due to the risk of falling rocks, but we had a great time cruising.

日本語喋れる外人の船長が音楽かけて出航！テーマパークにいるみたいと思ったら、サービス？で船体を左右に大きく傾けながら高速前進して完全にアドラクションに乗ってる気分に。
落石の危険があるとのことで青の洞窟に入れませんでしたが楽しいクルージングできました。

At that time, I didn't go to Lake Shikotsu because the wind was strong, but I experienced canoeing on the river. The river was very beautiful, and paddling on the water was a fun summer activity. On the day, we had a canoe experience with several groups led by one instructor, but since I was in a young group, the pace was fast. Instead of enjoying my first canoeing experience, there were several moments where I was desperately paddling to keep up. I know it's partly my lack of stamina, but I would prefer if we could go at a more moderate pace instead of matching the faster ones. Alternatively, if young people could be grouped together, I think it would have made for the best summer memory.

当時は風邪が強く支笏湖には行きませんでしたけど、川の方でカヌーを体験しました。
川はとても綺麗で、水の上をカヌーで進むのは夏のアクティビティでは楽しかったです。
当日はインストラクター1人に何組かでカヌー体験をしたんですが、若いグループに入ったので進むペースが早く、はじめてのカヌーを楽しむというより、置いていかれないように必死に漕ぐ場面が何度かありました。
体力がない私も悪いのですが、ペースが早い人に合わせるのではなくて、中間くらいのペースでお願いしたいです。
それか、若い人は同じグループにするかをして下されば、夏の最高の思い出になったと思います。

It was a fun experience while feeling the beauty of Lake Shikotsu. Thank you, instructor Joe! I didn't have much confidence in my physical strength, but you guided me well, and I had a great time.

I participated in a guided tour of Shiretoko Five Lakes. We walked at a leisurely pace while listening to the guide's stories. Since it was a small group, I was able to ask questions. Along the way, we encountered a mother and baby Ezo deer and were able to observe them up close. Each of the Shiretoko Five Lakes was beautiful in its own way.

知床五湖のガイドツアーに参加しました。ガイドさんの話を聞きながらゆっくりしたペースで歩きました。少人数のグループだったので質問もできました。途中エゾシカの親子に遭遇し、近距離で観察できました。知床五湖もそれぞれに美しかったです。

The young man was very enthusiastic and took a lot of photos for us. It was a great experience; the lake is beautiful, and the activities were very enjoyable. I really recommend it to everyone. Having some activities during the trip is really fun! Highly recommended!

The captain was a foreigner. At first, I was a bit anxious, but he spoke well and kept cracking dad jokes, making it as enjoyable as Jetstar. The Blue Cave was more beautiful and impressive than I expected!! On the way back, my son got sick, but the captain was very considerate, which made me feel very relieved. I highly recommend this. Thank you, captain!

船長さんは外国人の方でした。最初は不安もありましたが、言葉は上手だし親父ギャグを連発、ジェットスターみたいに楽しませてくれました。青の洞窟も思ってたより綺麗で圧巻！！帰り息子の体調悪くなってしまったけど、気遣ってくれてとても安心しました。とてもオススメです。船長さん、ありがとうございました。

We visited during the day with our family of four (two brothers aged 10 and 6) before watching the night game at Escon.

First, we went out to Lake Shikotsu for a commemorative photo with the magnificent scenery as a backdrop. However, there were some waves, so we later enjoyed ourselves on the Chitose River.

The beautiful emerald green Chitose River had a gentle current, and the kids were thrilled to experience the fun of steering their own boats! As we had plans for the evening, it was also a relief for us parents not to get too worn out. (On the Chitose River, you can also enjoy peering into the clear bottom.)

The soft serve ice cream from Iwase Farm, recommended by our guide, and the cheese potato mochi we had while looking at the lake were exceptional and very soothing! (I was glad we didn’t eat at the airport!)

We also received videos of fish swimming underwater, and they provided a complete set of rain gear, boots, and life jackets for the kids free of charge. It was truly attentive service. I felt that we should have taken more time to relax at Lake Shikotsu; I highly recommend it!

エスコンでナイター観戦日の昼間に家族4名(10歳、6歳の兄弟)で伺いました。

始めに支笏湖に出て雄大な景色をバックに記念撮影、ただやはり波があり、その後は千歳川で楽しみました。

綺麗なエメラルドグリーンの千歳川は流れが穏やかで、子ども達は自力で操縦する楽しさを体験できとても盛り上がっていました！夜予定があったので親としても腕がバリバリにならずに済んだのも助かりました。(千歳川だと透明な底を覗き込むのも満喫できます)

湖を見ながら食べた、ガイドのお兄さんオススメの岩瀬牧場のソフトクリームと、チーズいももちも格別で癒されました！(空港で食べなくて良かったと思ったほど笑)

水中を泳いでいる魚の動画も頂いたり、子供用の上下合羽と長靴、ライフジャケットも一式無料で貸して頂けたり、至れり尽くせりです。もっと時間をとって良かったなと感じた程、支笏湖のんびり出来てオススメです！

I really learned a lot from the explanations while seeing various aspects of nature. It's a shame that the weather wasn't great; it would have been perfect otherwise.

The desired time was fully booked, so I was kindly guided to an earlier time, and I appreciated the concern about transportation to the meeting place. It was cloudy, but the temperature was nice, and the fog cleared up along the way, making the scenery beautiful. I had brought my folding binoculars, but the binoculars I borrowed were easier to use, so I was glad I borrowed them.

希望の時間が満席だったので、その少し前の時間をご案内いただいたり、集合場所までの交通の心配をいただいたりして大変親切にしていただきました。
曇っていましたが、よい気温でしたし、霧も途中から晴れてきたので景色も良かったです。
折りたたみ式の双眼鏡は持ってきていましたが、お借りした双眼鏡が見やすかったのでお借りして良かったです。

I am grateful for the attentive guidance from our tour guide! They had extensive knowledge about the lakes, plants, and birds, and provided a thorough and meaningful experience. Due to thick fog, we couldn't reach the Blue Grotto, but the boat cruise was thrilling and enjoyable. The captain's talk was entertaining and fun for all ages. It will be a great memory.

濃霧のため青の洞窟まで行けなかったが、ボートクルーズがスリルがあり楽しめました。また、船長のトークが面白く年齢問わず楽しめました。いい思い出になります。

The weather was great, the guide was wonderful, and I was fortunate to have great companions, making for a truly lovely experience. At tourist spots like this, it's easy to just take photos and feel satisfied, but I appreciated having time to really take in the sights after the photo sessions.

天気にも恵まれ、ガイドさんにも恵まれ、同行者の方々にも恵まれ、とても素敵な体験ができました。
こういう観光地って、写真に撮って満足してしまいがちですが、写真撮影した後にしっかり目に焼き付ける時間も取っていただき良かったです。

The tour started at noon, and the guide quickly prepared and set off ahead of the other tour groups, allowing us to enjoy the wetland scenery all to ourselves, which was fantastic. Thanks to this, we were able to see many animals and were very satisfied. The veteran guide shared many interesting stories about the different seasons of the Kushiro Wetlands and the ecology of the animals. During the canoeing, the guide sat in the front, middle, and back, and it seemed that the middle seat, which had a backrest, was very comfortable. I was at the front and had a great view.

With just a little timing, we were able to encounter animals sometimes and sometimes not. It's nature, but the guide understood this well and was very skilled in leading the tour. I highly recommend this tour.

12時スタートのツアーでしたが、ガイドの方がさっと用意して周りのツアーグループより一足先に出て、前方には誰もおらず湿原の景色を独り占めでき最高でした。おかげで動物たちともたくさん会えて大満足でした。　ベテランのガイドさんで色々な季節の釧路湿原の様子や動物たちの生態なども興味深い話もたくさん聞けました。カヌーでは前方と真ん中、後ろにガイドさんが座られましたが、真ん中は背もたれのある椅子に腰かけられてとても楽だったようです。私は先頭でより眺めがよかったです。
ほんのちょっとのタイミングで動物にも遭遇できたりできなかったり。自然相手ですがそのあたりもよくわかっていらっしゃるガイドさんで案内も上手ですし、おすすめしたいツアーです。

I was able to explore Shiretoko Five Lakes and the primeval forest without any difficulty. Along the way, our guide shared various stories, and we were able to see wildlife, which was truly enjoyable. I was especially lucky to encounter the natural monument, the black woodpecker. The guide worked hard to find the black woodpecker, and we were able to observe it for a while. I think the guide's excitement showed just how rare of an opportunity it was. The weather was also nice, perfect for hiking. I would love to participate again!

知床五湖や原生林を無理なく回ることが出来ました。
途中、ガイドさんがいろいろなお話をしてくださったり、野生動物を見ることが出来、本当に楽しかったです。
特に天然記念物のクマゲラと会えたのは本当にラッキーでした。
ガイドさんがクマゲラを一生懸命探してくださり、しばらくその場で観察出来ました。ガイドさんの興奮度からそれだけ貴重な機会だったんだと思います。
天気も悪くなく、ハイキング日和でした。
また、参加したいです！

The scenery is amazing! The clear blue of Lake Shikotsu is truly beautiful. The bottom of the kayak is transparent, so I wanted to take my time looking at the lake bed, but there was so much moving around in the kayak that I didn't have much time to relax and enjoy it, which was a bit disappointing.

景色は最高！支笏湖のクリアブルーが本当に美しいです。カヤックの底が透明なので、もっとゆっくり湖の底を見たかったのですが、カヤックでの移動が多くてあまりのんびり見ている時間が無く、慌ただしいのが残念でした。

I had a great time. It was my first experience with SAP, and I was worried about whether I could stand on the board, but the staff kindly taught me, and I was able to stand, which made me very satisfied. I was also grateful for all the photos they took.

楽しい時間を過ごせました。SAPは初めてでボードに立てることができるのか心配でしたが、スタッフの方が親切に教えていただき何とか立つ事ができ満足です。写真もたくさん撮っていただきありがたかったです。

I was picked up at 11:45 on May 19th, and I participated with five people. The weather was perfect, the guide's explanations were wonderful, and we encountered various animals and birds. I really enjoyed it. I definitely want to visit again in a different season.

I was completely satisfied with the conversation with the pilot, the flying, and the scenery. My wife was especially thrilled and excited. We want to go again.

操縦士さんの会話、操縦、景観、全て大満足。特に家内はドキドキ、ハラハラの大興奮でした。又行きたいです。

This was my second visit to Shiretoko. I came in early September last time, and this time I participated in a tour in mid-May, which offered a completely different view that I really enjoyed. There was still snow on the mountains, and the reflection on the lakeside was beautiful. The cherry blossoms were also starting to bloom here and there, adding a special touch of pink to the mountains. I was lucky that it coincided with the rare blooming period of the skunk cabbage. It seems that soon it will be the right time for bears to eat. This time, I was very satisfied to see black woodpeckers and deer from the walking trails. The guide was also very good.

2回目の知床。
前回は9月始めに訪問しました。今回は5月中旬でのツアー参加でしたが、また違った景色を見せて頂きとても良かったです。山には雪が残っていて、湖畔に映る姿も綺麗でした。桜もちらほら咲いていて山にピンク色の入る感じは特別感がありました。そして「水芭蕉」の沢山咲いている貴重な時期にも重なってラッキーでした。もう少しすると熊にとっては食べ頃らしいです。
今回は散策路からクマゲラや鹿の姿も見れて大満足でした。ガイドさんもとても良かったです。

I visited Hokkaido with the intention of experiencing something beyond just sightseeing, so I participated alone. The instructor was very engaging and made the experience enjoyable, allowing me to bond with the other participants. I thoroughly enjoyed the crystal-clear waters and the magnificent nature, creating unforgettable memories.

せっかくの北海道。観光だけでなく、何か体験したいと思い立ち、1人で参加しました。インストラクターの先生がとても楽しく盛り上げてくださって、一緒に参加した方々とも仲良く体験できました。どこまでも透明な水と雄大な自然を満喫し、忘れられない思い出になりました。

As I entered the primeval forest in the rain, the rain and wind were blocked, and I was enveloped in a pleasantly warm atmosphere with the wonderful scent of the forest. Shiretoko was registered as a World Heritage site due to its rich ecosystem, and while listening to the explanations from our guide Kanako, I was able to truly feel that the forest is 'alive' and that the food chain is functioning well, which was very educational. I really felt fortunate to have this precious experience. Thank you very much.

I couldn't forget the scent of the forest, so when I got home, I tried to buy a fragrance that resembled it, but it just wasn't quite the same (laughs).

雨が降る中、原生林の中に入ると、
雨や風が遮られほんのり暖かく、素敵な森の匂いに包まれました。
知床が世界遺産に登録されたのは、豊かな生態系が評価されたからですが、ガイドのかなこさんの説明を聞きながら、森が‘生きている’ことや、うまく食物連鎖が廻っていることを実感することができ大変勉強になりました。
貴重な体験をすることができて本当に良かったと思っています。

森の匂いが忘れられず、帰宅してそれっぽいフレグランスを購入してみましたが、やっぱりなんか違いますね(笑)
