I had only been to Hokkaido on group tours organized by travel agencies. I searched for a bus tour to visit my grandchild in Sapporo and decided to join this tour.
I was moved by the scenery at places I visited for the first time, such as Lake Shikotsu, Lake Toya, Showa Shinzan, and Mount Usu.
The journey from the ropeway to the observation deck was quite challenging for my husband and me, as we are over 70, but it was absolutely wonderful and has left a lasting impression on me. I'm really glad I participated in this tour. My grandchild in Sapporo said to come again. While I'm still healthy, I would like to join another Beltora tour.

It must be challenging to explain in both Japanese and Chinese, as it takes twice as long, but I think it would be very reassuring for those coming from China. It was a very fulfilling tour visiting all the sightseeing spots in the southern region! Fortunately, we were blessed with good weather, and the staff who attended to us were very accommodating in taking photos at the best positions. I am very grateful to them. On the bus, explanations were provided in Japanese, English, and Chinese, which made me feel like I was traveling abroad. The only disappointing part was that during the sightseeing at Lake Shikotsu, I was told to definitely try the delicious soft serve ice cream, but unfortunately, we arrived after the shop had closed that day, so I couldn't have any. I would like to recommend this tour to my friends.
道南の観光地を全て巡るとても充実した観光でした!幸いお天気にも恵まれ、ベストポジションでの写真撮影も個別に対応して頂き、アテンドして頂いたスタッフの方にとても感謝です。バス内では、日本語、英語、中国語の３カ国語で説明をされていたので、海外旅行をしている気分も味わえました。一つだけ残念だったのは、支笏湖の観光では美味しいソフトクリームを是非食べて見てと言われ期待していたのですが、残念ながらこの日はお店が閉まった後に到着したので、食べられませんでした。
友人達にもこのツアーはリコメンドしたいと思います。

I would like to make the following comments:
1. I wish we could have spent a bit more time at Lake Shikotsu and Lake Toya. Especially at Lake Toya, since there is a lunch break, it might be tough, but if we had a little more time, I would have liked to take a sightseeing boat ride.
2. I understand that the toilet breaks are necessary, but before lunch at "Mushroom Kingdom," the guide recommended "mushroom soup," which I tried. However, the miso soup at lunch by Lake Toya was also "mushroom soup." I think there is room for reconsideration regarding the location and timing of the toilet breaks.
3. The guide from Chuo Bus was pleasant and friendly, just like during the half-day course I participated in last year (2024). I really felt their professionalism.

About 20% of the participants were Japanese. After confirming the vouchers at the meeting point, we were guided to the bus. Inside the bus, the guide provided information about the places we would visit and the rules on the bus, offering some sightseeing explanations in Japanese, English, and Chinese. After that, it was mostly travel time, so most people were sleeping.

Although I’m a local, it was my first bus tour, so I had various concerns. However, the female bus guide was incredibly thorough in her explanations and treated us kindly! At each tour location, amidst many other inbound tourist groups, she referred to us as "my guests," which made us feel acknowledged. She also asked, "Are you okay?" to check on our health and proactively offered to take photos for us! The fact that she guided us in three languages was impressive!
