I went on a bus tour by myself for the first time. The weather was great, and I was lucky to have a nice person sitting next to me... It turned out to be a fulfilling day! The tour guide shared a lot of information about delicious souvenirs and the characteristics of the area! Their approach was just right—neither too close nor too distant—and their kind and attentive service made me feel very comfortable.

I had a very meaningful day filled with places I wanted to visit around Sapporo. The lunch was plentiful and delicious, and the view of Lake Toya from the restaurant was also very beautiful.

I want to say that I was satisfied with the tour as planned, but perhaps because there were so few participants, we were in a regular van instead of a large bus, which was disappointing.
The ride was quite uncomfortable, and it shook a lot during the long-distance travel, which made me tired.
The driver had no ill intentions, but I would have appreciated at least some explanation or reasoning. If it's the same next time and we don't have a bus, I won't participate.

When I arrived at the meeting place, most of the participants were foreign tourists, so I thought I might have mistakenly signed up for a tour for foreigners. However, the guide was very experienced and provided explanations in Japanese, English, and Chinese, which made the sightseeing smooth.
From Sapporo, we had to travel a bit to reach Noboribetsu Onsen and Lake Toya, but we were able to move efficiently by bus and see everything, which was very satisfying. The guide also helped by taking photos at the photo points, which was a great help.

I was a bit scared to rent a car for a winter trip to Hokkaido with my aunt, so I decided to sign up for this tour. It was a great decision! Honestly, I didn't have high expectations, thinking it would just take us to tourist spots and that I would be surrounded by Chinese tourists. However, the atmosphere on the bus was nice, with 20% Taiwanese and 80% Japanese participants, and our tour guide, Mr. Onodera, was wonderful and very attentive, which made for a fun experience. From the top of Mount Usu, I was moved by the grandeur of Showa Shinzan and Lake Toya, the miracles of the Earth, and the local efforts to coexist with active volcanoes.
Usually, the temperature is significantly lower when getting off the ropeway compared to the base of the mountain, but this time I didn't mind at all and was able to fully appreciate the scenery from the heart.
I sat next to someone of the opposite sex who was also traveling alone on the bus, and our conversation picked up along the way, making me feel the joy of travel once again.
北海道の人にとって、春が来た？というほどの、関東と変わらぬ気温と快晴の空のもと、美しい景色を堪能しました。
有珠山の上から見た、昭和新山、洞爺湖の雄大さ、地球の奇跡、活火山と共存する地元のかたの取組の展示など、全てに感動です！
いつもならロープウェイ降りるとかなり山の下より気温が低いらしいのが、全く気にならず心から景色を堪能できました。
バス席は一人参加で、同じく一人参加の異性の方のとなりでしたが、途中から話が盛り上り、旅の楽しさを改めて感じました。

At first, I thought there wouldn't be enough time to visit each place, but once I started the tour, I realized that the time allocated was very appropriate. When I arrived at the meeting place in the hotel lobby, there was an incredible crowd, and I had a hard time finding the tour guide. After speaking to four people, I finally managed to meet up, but I was registered as Malaysian. In my group, there were only three Japanese people, and we received instructions in English and Chinese before boarding the bus. While waiting for departure, a different Chinese tour guide offered to change my bus since there were Japanese people on it. However, the announcements on the bus were mostly in Chinese, with only a little in Japanese. I was satisfied with the destination.

I think this covers all the sightseeing spots that can be visited on a day trip from Sapporo. The day I went was perfectly sunny, and I was able to see Mount Yotei beautifully from the bus, which is often obscured by clouds.

たくさん行くので一箇所の滞在時間は短く、ゆっくりはできません。駆け足で楽しむ感じです。

I was worried about the weather since it was winter in Hokkaido. In the morning, it was snowing, so Nakayama Pass was in a blizzard, and I couldn't see Lake Toya very well. Gradually, the weather improved, and Showa Shinzan and the bear ranch were beautiful. The final Shikotsu Lake Ice Festival was impressive. However, since the lights came on at 4:30 PM and I was heading back at 5 PM while it was still bright, I wished I could have stayed until it got a bit darker. But I was satisfied that they took me to places that are difficult to go to alone.

I think it was good to efficiently visit many attractions in one day, with a reasonable amount of free time. However, there were several disappointing aspects.
⚪︎ While there was indeed a "multilingual" indication, over 99% of the announcements on the bus were in Chinese. On that day, two buses were operating, and the other one was in English. I would have understood if it were in English, but I couldn't understand anything in Chinese. I never expected that a tour booked in Japan would be conducted only in Chinese. The Japanese explanations were minimal at best. I believe English would have been better for Japanese participants. I think there should have been an option to choose in advance, or at least a notification that it would be in Chinese this time. The Chinese participants on the same bus had no issues at all. I did mention to the guide that I would like more explanations in Japanese, but I was told that most of the Chinese announcements were just safety instructions, though it didn't seem like that for two or three hours. I didn't press the issue further.
⚪︎ I saw several notices that the entrance fee for the Shikotsuko Ice Festival was separate, but I may have missed the information about the entrance fee for the bear ranch, which ended up being an additional expense for me.
⚪︎ During the tour, we were driving on the highway, and I noticed we were overtaking trucks and cars on the left at quite a speed in the snow. There was never any instruction to wear seatbelts. While I didn't feel in immediate danger, I was scared and made sure to buckle my seatbelt.
I decided to participate in your tour based on a recommendation from a friend, but I was a bit disappointed.

⚪︎確かに「多言語」の表記はありましたが、バス内は９９%以上中国語でした。その日は2台のバスが出ていて、もう一方は英語でした。英語なら分かったのに中国語では全く何もわかりません。日本のツアーを予約してまさか中国語だけとは思いませんでした。日本語は必要最低限の内容だけでした。日本人には英語の方がまだマシだと思います。あるいは事前に選べるか、せめて今回は中国語であることくらいのお知らせはあるべきだと思いました。同じバスの中国系の方々には全く問題はありませんでした。ガイドの方に一度日本語の説明を増やして欲しい旨を伝えましたが、中国語はほとんどが注意事項ですと言われましたが、２時間も３時間もそういう訳ではなかったでしょう。それ以上は言いませんでした。
⚪︎ツアー内容に支笏湖氷濤祭りの入場料は別途との案内は何度かみましたが、熊牧場の入場料については見逃したのかも知れませんが、私にとってはプラスの出費になりました。
⚪︎ツアー中、高速道路を走りましたが、気がつくと左を走るトラックや乗用車をドンドン追い抜いていました。雪の中、かなりのスピードが出ていたと思います。一度もシートベルトをするよう指示はありませんでした。危険な思いをしたわけではありませんでしたが、こわくて自身はシートベルトを絞めていました。
友人から御社のツアーを推薦され参加を決めましたが、少し残念でした。

To be honest, it wasn't very enjoyable. It was my first time at Lake Toya, but after going once, I felt like that was enough. I personally had high hopes for the Ice Festival, but it was more subdued than I expected. Since it didn't look very beautiful at the time I went, it might have been better to join a tour that takes place during darker hours.
I thought the fee for the Ice Festival was included in the tour price, but it turned out to be a pay-on-site situation (even for those who paid in advance, they needed to show a voucher on-site). I overlooked that detail, so I was glad to understand it after hearing the explanation in the vehicle. However, I noticed some fellow passengers (Japanese) from the same bus entering without going through the ticket booth. Since I learned that payment was required in advance, I suspect that other tour booking sites besides Veltra probably don't collect the Ice Festival fee beforehand either, and I felt uncomfortable seeing that passenger enter without paying.
In this day and age, there are foreigners everywhere you go. Please don't take too seriously the reviews mentioning that the bus was noisy; that's just a matter of chance. I think it should be fine for those who don't mind crowds. However, it's safer to avoid weekends and holidays.
The guide was fluent in multiple languages and provided thorough explanations. Thank you to the driver and the guide for your hard work in the cold and snowy weather.

そこを見落としてたので車内で説明を聞いて分かって良かったのですが、明らかにチケット売り場を通さずに入場していく同じバスの同乗客(日本人)を見かけました。
先払いというのを知ったのでVeltraさん以外のツアー予約サイトでもおそらく氷濤まつりの代金は事前に取ってないと思いますが、その客は無銭入場ではないかと感じ、見てて不愉快でした。
このご時世なのでどこ行っても外国人だらけです。他の方の口コミにあるバスの中がうるさいとかは、ガチャ要素なのであまり信じないで下さい。
人混みが嫌いでない人なら大丈夫かと思います。なお、週末と祝日は避けた方が無難です。
ガイドさんは複数の言語を流暢にこなしていて、説明も丁寧でした。
運転手さん、ガイドさん、寒くて吹雪いてる中大変お疲れ様でした。

Overall, it was a trip that left little impression. It might be suitable for buying lots of souvenirs. At the bear ranch, we threw biscuits at the bears below (who seemed bored and didn't eat them), and it was the most boring place where I couldn't really tell what I was looking at.

全体的に思い出の薄い旅でした。お土産を沢山買うのには適してるかもです。実際乗せられて沢山お土産を買い「ここでしか買えない！」と言うガイドさんの声で馬のプラセンタ入りのクリーム5千円位のを義母や親戚用に大量購入しました。
くま牧場は下にいるクマめがけてビスケットを投げて(クマも飽き飽きしてるようで食べない)何を見てるのかよくわかんない1番つまらない場所でした。
またもガイドさんが「ここでしか買えないクマの美容クリーム！」と言い出した時にこれはマージンがガイドさんに入ってるのかな？と疑うレベル。
地獄谷では硫黄臭の中歩いて歩いて行きましたが結局大した物もなく。
アウトレットも普通で。。。
とにかくこのツアーはお勧めしないのでルートの再検討をお願いしたいです。
後悔はしてないけど2度と行きません。夫が外国人だから英語のツアーにしたせいなのかな？アジア系とインド系が多くて彼らが満足してるのかは謎です。

The places we visited were mediocre, and the bus guide was yelling, so I couldn't enjoy it at all.

Considering how much you can do, it's an incredible deal! We stopped by Mushroom Kingdom before lunch, and since we were there, we tried the premium mushroom soup! The lunch seemed a bit lacking for men, so if you can eat, it might be a good idea to have something beforehand. The course to fully enjoy nature was truly the best!

The bus tour in sub-zero temperatures was completely different from other seasons, allowing us to enjoy the scenery and food unique to the cold period.
