This trip was very pleasant experience. I was there with my mom and we both enjoyed very much. Food was great. Two people share a hot pot, with one big plate of Japanese beef and one plate of vegetable! The highlight was to watch Maikos dance in a very close distance! I can see her holding her pose and dancing slow but gracefully. It is breathtaking! I would say this is the best trip you can do to get the completely Kyoto experience! Love it!!

Eikando is confident in its autumn leaves, as suggested by its name, which includes "momiji" (maple). In the morning, we visited Tofuku-ji and then came here, but my husband said this place alone was enough. I agreed. During this season, Kyoto can be crowded, so having a meal included was appreciated. If I were a bit younger, I wouldn't mind searching for an hour for a delicious meal, but as a retiree, I prefer to avoid unnecessary movement, so having a meal included was great. The meal itself was the usual yudofu set, but it wasn't particularly bad; it was just fine. This is a must-visit spot for viewing autumn leaves.

もみじのという冠がつくぐらい、永観堂は紅葉には自信を持っています。朝、東福寺をまわってこちらに来ましたが、主人はこちらだけで十分とのこと。私も同感でした。この時期は京都市内は混んでいるので、食事つきなのもありがたかったです。もう少し若い頃ならば、おいしい食事を求めて１時間くらい探すのも苦ではありませんが、当方はリタイア世代なので、あまり無駄な動きはしたくないので、食事の心配をしない食事つきはよかったです。食事自体はお決まりの湯豆腐定食ですが（笑）特にまずいということも無く、まぁこんなものでしょう。紅葉鑑賞には外せないスポットです。

Maybe it was a little early. However, the autumn leaves on the trees were truly beautiful. I would like to use this place again next year.

The Eikando Temple with its autumn leaves was very beautiful. It was somewhat crowded inside, but I was glad to be able to enter smoothly after my meal. I would like to visit again next year.

もみじの永観堂、とても綺麗でした。中はそこそこ混んでいましたが、食事の後でスムースに入場できて良かったです。

As I expected, there was a long line of people waiting for admission tickets, but thanks to this tour, we were able to enter right away. For dinner, we enjoyed a variety of charming dishes inspired by autumn in a hall-like setting. The taste was quite good, and the staff were pleasant. Since the meal was finished quickly, we were able to leisurely enjoy the illumination.

思った通り、拝観券を求める人の長蛇の列でしたが、
このツアーのおかげですぐ入場できました。
夕食は、広間の様な所で、秋にちなんだ可愛らしいお料理の
数々を戴きました。味もまずまず、給仕の方々も感じがよかったです。
食事がサッと済ませられたので、ゆっくりとライトアップを堪能出来ました。

It was my first time seeing the illuminated autumn leaves. I was surprised to see a large crowd lined up from the gate to the parking lot. We had an early dinner (which was delicious) and then headed to view the autumn leaves. As soon as we passed through the dedicated entrance, we were greeted by the illuminated leaves, and it was truly moving.

ライトアップされた紅葉を見るのは、初めてでした。
門の前から駐車場まで大勢並んでいるのにビックリ、早めに夕食(美味しかった)をいただき、紅葉拝観へ。
専用の入り口を抜けると即、ライトアップされた紅葉が見られ、感激でしたよ。

Since it was a Saturday that was expected to be quite crowded, I signed up without hesitation. On the day of the visit, I first enjoyed a meal. The location was easy to find. There were many side dishes that were already set, and they were a bit cold, but I enjoyed the warm yudofu. I was also happy to have a place where I could stretch out and relax. After the meal, we had the freedom to explore Eikando. We could enter without waiting in line from the group entrance. Since it had been raining since the morning, it wasn't overly crowded, but it would likely be quite busy on a sunny day, so I think the advantage of this was significant. The autumn leaves at Eikando were indeed impressive. Over the course of my 3-day, 2-night stay, I saw a lot of beautiful foliage, but this was the most wonderful. I would like to go on this tour again.

かなり混雑が予想される土曜日だったので、迷わず申し込みました。
当日はまず先にお食事をいただきました。
場所はすぐにわかりました。
食事はすでにセットされているおかずが多く、ちょっと冷たかったですが、温かい湯豆腐は楽しめました。
足を伸ばしてゆっくりできるところも嬉しいです。
食事の後は、自由に永観堂見学。
団体入口から並ばずに入場できます。
朝から雨が降っていたため、それほど大混雑感はなかったですが、晴れていた相当な混雑でしょうから、メリットは大きいと思います。
永観堂の紅葉はさすがでした。
2泊3日でたくさんの紅葉を見ましたが、一番素晴らしかった。
またこのツアーで行きたいと思います。

I visited on a day when the autumn leaves were at their peak. There was a brief rain shower for about 15 minutes, but I was able to relax and wait for the sun to come out while enjoying yudofu (tofu hot pot). The temple grounds were crowded, but it was great that I could eat without having to wait.

紅葉が見ごろの日に行きました。15分くらいの通り雨があったのですが、湯豆腐食べながらのんびり晴れるのを待つことができました。境内は混雑していましたが待たずに食べられて良かったです。

When searching online for the special night viewing at Eikando, I found that it requires a long wait. It's frustrating to lose time waiting during a trip. Moreover, having dinner in Kyoto can be quite pricey. Additionally, there aren't many restaurants near Eikando.

Although it was kaiseki cuisine, I thought it was on the simpler side. The taste was generally good. Excluding the 40 minutes for the meal, I was able to enjoy the autumn leaves at a leisurely pace for almost three hours. I highly recommend it to everyone!

ネット上で永観堂の夜特別拝観を検索すると、長時間待つ必要があることが分かりました。せっかくの旅で待ち時間で時間とられるのがやはり悔しいです。しかも京都で晩御飯食べるとそこそこの値段がかかります。しかも永観堂の近くはそもそも飲食店がそんなにたくさんではありません。
会席料理とは言え、シンプルのほうだと思います。味も普通に美味しでした。お食事の40分抜いて、三時間に近くゆっくり紅葉を満喫できました。皆さまにもお勧めします！

The meal (it said 3000 yen) and the light-up for 2000 yen?? I think that's a bit expensive. Is it an additional 1500 yen just for the privilege of entering without waiting in line? (Excluding the admission fee) It's true that even on a weekday night, there are a lot of people, but that's to be expected at a famous spot. It felt like we went just to see the crowd. That can't be helped. I would recommend it for those who really want to see Eikando.

入るだけで行列のところ並ばずという特典で＋1500円ですか？（拝観料は抜いて）
確かに平日の夜なのに名所というだけあって人が多いです。
人を見に行ったようなものです。それはしょうがない。
どうしても永観堂がみたいという人にはおすすめします。

After bypassing the huge crowds, we first took some time to eat. The seating was spacious and the portions were generous. The warm yudofu warmed us up as well. After that, we headed to Eikando. We entered smoothly without having to wait, and right in front of us was the beautiful autumn foliage!

Since there was no waiting time, we were able to fully enjoy our main purpose, which was the "nighttime autumn foliage illumination." It's rare to be able to enjoy this time of year, which is typically crowded, so smoothly.

大混雑の行列を通り越して、まずは食事の時間。席はゆったり、量も十分。温かい湯豆腐で身体も暖まりました。それから永観堂へ。並ぶことなくスムーズに入ると、目の前に美しい紅葉が！
とにかく待ち時間がなかったので、本来の目的である“夜の紅葉ライトアップ”を満喫できました。
大混雑が前提のこの時期に、こんなにスムーズに
楽しめるのは貴重です。

As I passed through the crowded gate, I saw a sign for lunch reservations, and I was guided right away. The room was a large hall and lacked a sense of luxury, but the attentive service and a glimpse of autumn leaves from the window made up for it. I recommend making a reservation for 11 AM when it's less crowded. The portion of yudofu was on the smaller side, but enjoying a meal while having a beer in the bustling Eikando temple felt special enough. On my way back, I was surprised to see long lines at all the nearby shops.

混雑する門をくぐると昼食予約案内の看板があり、すぐに案内していただきました。お部屋は大広間で高級感は有りませんが、丁寧な応対で窓から紅葉も少し見えます。オススメは空いている11時の予約。湯豆腐の量は少なめでしたが、混み合う永観堂の中でビールをいただきながらゆったり食事ができる特別感は十分ありました。帰路、周辺の店はどこも行列で驚きました。

We enjoyed ourselves as a couple, but there were also several groups of female friends. I think enjoying a leisurely stroll while relaxing over a meal is a very pleasant way to spend time.

During the autumn leaves season in Kyoto, everywhere is crowded with visitors. After purchasing tickets, you often have to line up again at the entrance.

However, after dinner, we were able to enter the famous autumn leaves spot, Eikando, without any wait, which was a great plan. It saves time, and you don't have to worry about finding a place to eat after the visit or about closing times, which is also appealing.

The food was decent, and considering it includes the admission fee, the price is reasonable.

紅葉の季節の京都はどこも拝観の人、人、人。入場するまでにチケット購入した後入り口でまた並んだり。
夕食をとった後スムーズの紅葉の名所の永観堂に全く並ぶことなく入れるなですからいい企画です。時間の節約にもなりますし拝観後に食事場所を探したり、閉店時間を気にせずに済むのも魅力です。
お料理もまずまずの内容で拝観料込みならこの価格は納得です。

I utilized the dining experience starting at 7 PM on the 25th. I arrived around 6:45 PM and was surprised by the long wait line for entry, which was said to be a two-hour wait. After that, the staff member at the reception guided us around the crowded parking lot line, and we safely arrived at the Eikando Hall. The interior was calm, and I was moved to be able to enjoy a leisurely meal before witnessing the beautifully illuminated autumn leaves. There was also a timely performance of gagaku, allowing us to spend an elegant moment. Seeing that incredible line made me realize that I was glad to have chosen this plan.

２５日１９時からの食事を利用しました。１８時４５分頃に到着しましたが、受付に行くにも難儀するほどの入場待ち行列（二時間待ちとの事）には驚きました。その後受付担当の方が人で溢れかえる駐車場内の行列を大きく迂回しながらアテンドしていただき、無事に永観堂会館に辿り着きました。館内は落ち着いており、ゆったりと食事をとってからライトアップされた素晴らしい紅葉を観ることができ感動しました。タイミングよく雅楽の演奏もあり雅なひと時を過ごすことができました。あの凄まじい行列を目の当たりにすると、このプランを利用してよかったと実感しました。

It was during the busy high season, but I was able to enter smoothly without waiting in line for admission, which was great. The lunch tofu set exceeded my expectations. I definitely want to use this service again next time.

御昼の湯豆腐膳も期待以上でした。

We had a wonderful time walking around while being guided by a monk at Bishamondō, learning various things while enjoying the beautiful autumn leaves. The meal was delicious, and we enjoyed this experience as a couple, thinking that it's nice to do something like this once in a while.

綺麗な紅葉を観ながら、お坊さんから毘沙門堂を案内され色々説明されながら周り、とても勉強になったり楽しい時間を過ごしました。
お食事も美味しくいただき、たまにはこういうのもいいねと夫婦で楽しみました。

Since it was the season for autumn leaves, both the bus and train were not operating as usual, so we left a bit early and arrived safely. Without having to wait in the long line, we were able to enjoy the night view of the autumn leaves. Unfortunately, the dining area was not ideal. Since I was with my elderly mother, we requested a table seat instead of the tatami room that the staff recommended. The room reminded me of a dining area from a school trip. There was no heater, and dining in the cold was not very pleasant. It was disappointing, especially since the autumn leaves were so beautiful.

紅葉の時期なのでバスも電車も通常通りの運行では無く、少し早目に出て無事に到着。長蛇の列を横目に待つ事無く夜間の紅葉を楽しめました。残念なのは食事処の部屋です。高齢の母親と一緒だったので案内の人が進める畳部屋では無くテーブル席を希望しました。修学旅行の食事処を思い出す様な部屋でした。ストーブも無く寒い中での食事は今ひとつでした。紅葉が綺麗だっただけに残念でした。

I didn't have high expectations for the food from the start, so I wasn't disappointed. I prioritized the timing when making the reservation.

However, I wish I had been seated at a table instead. The tatami seating on the second floor was difficult for me due to my leg issues.

時間優先の申し込みでした。

ただ、席がテーブル席だったらよかったのにと思いました。
2階の階段での座敷は脚の悪い私のは辛いものでした。

On Saturday, there were far more people lined up before the park opened than I expected, but it was really convenient to enter without waiting in line. This alone deserves ★5 stars.
The food and service were average, and if you simply deduct the entrance fee, I felt a bit dissatisfied. However, considering that I saved time and effort by not waiting in line and could finish my meal while others were still waiting, I think I will definitely use this option again in the future.

　土曜日ということもあり、予想をはるかに上回る数の人たちが開園前から並んでいましたが、並ばずに入れて本当に楽でした。これだけで★5つです。
　食事や応対は普通で、単純に入園料を差し引くと若干不満が残りますが、並ぶ時間も労力も節約でき、皆さんが並んでいる時間に食事も済ませられるということを考えると、今後も利用しないテはないと思いました。

It was very good that I could enter right away without waiting because it was very cold at night, and the koyo kaiseki was also very delicious.

I didn't know it would be that crowded, so I crossed a line that waited for an hour and a half to have a meal! I felt a bit of superiority. The meal was also very satisfying! I spent a fulfilling time leisurely enjoying the autumn leaves. I will definitely use it again!

I checked in earlier than my reservation at 17:45, and I was guided right away. The food was delicious. Above all, it was the busiest day, and they announced a two-hour wait by 17:00. By the time I finished my meal at 18:00, they had started restricting entry, and when I left Eikando after 19:00, it was already closed. It felt like a platinum ticket, allowing me to enjoy a meal and enter without any wait!

17:45の予約より早く受付したのにすぐに案内してくださりました。
食事も美味しかったです。
なにより、一番混んでいた日で17時の時点で2時間待ちとアナウンス、食事終わった18時には入場規制、永観堂を後にした19時過ぎには閉門してました。
食事も出来、待ち時間なしで入園できるプラチナチケットのようでした！

I was able to enter quickly among the many people, which saved time. The meal felt more like a multi-course set than a traditional kaiseki, but since the main purpose was the illumination, it was sufficient. The illumination was very beautiful, and I was satisfied, but I was quite surprised by the crowd.

I had trouble finding the meeting place at the gate parking lot and finally arrived after asking a security guard. I think the map should be made clearer, perhaps in PDF format.

多くの人が並ぶ中、直ぐに入場でき時間の節約になりました。食事は会席というより品数の多い御膳という感じですが、ライトアップが目的なので十分でした。ライトアップもとても綺麗で満足できましたが人の多さには驚くばかりです。
集合場所の門前駐車場が良く分からず警備の方に聞いてやっとたどり着きました。地図はPDFなどで分かりやすくすべきと思います。

It was great to be able to enter without waiting, especially with the huge crowds for the nighttime illumination, which felt like waiting for attractions at Disneyland. The meal portions were just right and satisfying. The view of the illuminated autumn leaves reflecting in the pond was magical and absolutely wonderful.

夜のライトアップ入園の為、大混雑して、ディズニーランドのアトラクション待ちのような状態の中で、待たずに入園できるのは、とても良かったです。お食事はちょうど良い分量で満足でした。
ライトアップされた紅葉が池に映る景色は幻想的で、最高でした。

It seems there was a huge crowd this season, and they had to impose entry restrictions at one point, but I was able to enjoy it without any waiting time. It was an amazing FastPass.

今シーズン一番の大混雑で途中で入場制限がかかったらしいのですが、待ち時間無しで堪能できました。

I made a reservation for dinner at 17:45, but I arrived 30 minutes early and there was no one at the reception area. However, at the dining location, Eikando Kaikan, they kindly let me wait inside, and I was able to start my meal earlier as soon as it was ready. The staff was friendly and very nice. The illumination at Eikando was as wonderful as rumored.

17:45～の夕食時間で予約をしましたが、30分前に現地に着いてしまい 受付場所には誰もいなかったのですが、食事場所の「永観堂会館」では中で待たせて下さり食事も準備ができ次第で早目に頂くことができました。スタッフの方は親切でとても良かったです。
永観堂のライトアップは噂通りの素晴らしさでした。

紅葉シーズンの京都は、想像をはるかに超えた混み具合でした。紅葉真っ盛りの永観堂に入るのにも長蛇の列になっていましが、このチケットのおかげで並ばずに入ることができて良かったです。湯豆腐も美味しかったです。2階の座席からは、窓から見える紅葉を楽しみながら湯豆腐をいただきました。

After enjoying a delicious dinner that was characteristic of Kyoto, I was able to enter the Eikando Temple's illuminated autumn leaves display directly without waiting in the long line, which felt like a great deal.
