I was able to enter the illuminated Eikando without waiting during the peak season, and it felt amazing. To be honest, I didn't have high expectations for the meal, but I was quite satisfied with it as well. I really want to recommend this to my friends, but I'm also worried that I won't be able to make a reservation for myself next year, so I'm conflicted.

トップシーズンの永観堂のライトアップに並ばずに入ることができて、最高の気分でした。正直言って、食事の内容の方は期待せずに行ったのですが、こちらも十分に満足しました。友達に勧めてあげたい気持ちがいっぱいですが、来年から自分の予約が取れなくなるのも困るので、迷ってしまいます。

This was my first time participating. Despite it being a weekday, I was able to exchange my ticket and stroll around the grounds while it was still relatively quiet, passing by the long line of people waiting for the evening opening. The beautiful autumn leaves and the lighting took my breath away. I am very grateful to the young security guard who kindly supported me in the garden. Thank you very much. However, regarding the food, I had low expectations after reading comments from those who had participated before, and unfortunately, the offerings were indeed disappointing. (laughs)

今回初参加でした。
平日にも係らず、夜の開門を待つ人達の長蛇の列を横目に、チケットを交換した後まだ空いている内に境内を散策することができました。
息を飲むとはこういう事かと思うほどの美しい紅葉とライトアップでした。
そしてお庭では、優しくサポートして下さった若い警備の青年に大変感謝しております。有難うございました。
ただお料理は、以前参加された方のコメントを読んで期待はしていませんでしたが、やはり内容はさみしいものでした。笑

There was plenty of space between us and the neighboring table, so we were able to enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace. It was great to be able to enter without waiting in line for the admission tickets in the cold.

隣の客とのスペースも充分あったのでゆっくりと食事が楽しめました。

I was quite worried about the kaiseki cuisine since I was with my father, who cannot eat sashimi, but everything was delicious. Most importantly, the miso soup was made with Kyoto miso, which was sweet and wonderful.

I was relieved that we could eat without worry.

Since it was the peak season, many people were visiting, and there was a long line before the opening, but we were able to enter smoothly without waiting. We could also enjoy a performance of traditional Japanese music in the garden.

It was truly a luxurious experience, and I highly recommend it to everyone.

お刺身が食べられない父と一緒だったため、懐石料理がとても心配でしたが、どれも美味しく、何よりお味噌汁が京味噌で、甘くて素敵なお味でした。
安心して食べることができたのが何よりでした。

見頃ということもあり、多くの人が参拝されて、開園前は長蛇の列でしたが、スムーズに待つことなく入館することができ、邦楽の演奏を園内で聴くことができました。

ほんとうに贅沢な時間で、皆様にオススメしたいです。

I went early before the meeting time, expecting great things based on the positive reviews. There were many people in line, but I was able to complete the check-in before the time and felt relieved while waiting for the opening. I was moved by the wonderful light display and had plenty of time to take beautiful photos. After enjoying the light display, we had a meal, and I had a great time toasting with beer in a good mood.

All the staff were very kind, and I am grateful for the pleasant experience at the Eikando light display. If I have the opportunity, I will definitely sign up again.

前評判がよく期待をして集合時間前に行ってみました。大勢の方が並んでおりましたが、時間前には受付を済ませホットして開園を待つことが出き、素晴らしいライトアップに感動し、余裕で素敵な写真を撮ることも出来ました。ライトアップ見学後にお食事を頂きましたので、気分良くビールで乾杯しながらとても素晴らしいひと時を過ごすことが出来ました。

The time that was sent to me was 10:40, but Momijiya's shuttle arrived at 11:00. My friend fell and got injured while getting on. I was told that Momijiya made a correction for the 11:00 pickup with Veltra, but there was no change communicated to us. The mistake with the pickup time is unacceptable. However, Momijiya was very apologetic and did their best. What do you think, Veltra?

私に送られてきた時間は1040でしたが、紅葉やさんの送迎は11時に来ました。友達は、乗るときに転びケガをしました。
もみじやさんは、ベルトラに11時の訂正を入れたといわれましたが、こちらには、何の変更もありませんでした。ピックアップの時間間違えは最低です。
でも、もみじやさんは、平身低頭、大変よくしてくださいました。ベルトラさんは、どう、お考えですか？

At the dinner at Eikando Hall, the staff was kind, and I was able to enjoy my meal in a relaxed atmosphere. It was also great to see the illuminated Eikando without having to wait in line.

永観堂会館の夕食では、スタッフの方も親切で、ゆったりと食事できました。また、ライトアップされた永観堂を、並ぶことなく見ることが出来て良かったです。

I took my mom with me, and the pick-up and drop-off service made our trip much more convenient.

Although the autumn leaves haven't started to turn red yet, the scenery is always beautiful when enjoying the riverbed cuisine.

This is my mom's third time in Kyoto, and she said this place had no tourists, making it the most comfortable visit.

The yudofu (tofu hot pot) was delicious; it looked like a small portion, but in the end, we both ended up with full bellies.

After dinner, we had some time to stroll before our return trip, and we climbed up to Hogonji Temple together, which was a wonderful experience.

虽然红叶还没有开始红，但川床料理无论什么时候去，风景都是那么漂亮。
这是妈妈第三次去京都了，说这次的地方没有游客，最舒服。
汤豆腐很好吃，看着量少，最后都吃到肚子圆滚滚了。
饭后距离返程车出发，还留有一段散步时间，和妈妈一起登上了护国寺，很棒的体验。

It was a very beautiful annex, and I was able to enjoy delicious sukiyaki! The maiko were lovely, and it was a precious experience to see them dance up close. I was significantly late for my reservation, but they were very polite and accommodating. I would definitely like to use this place again if I have the opportunity. Thank you!

I booked this for 2 people even though I was going alone, because it was the only way the website would accept the reservation. The day of the tour I had my hotel contact them to update my hotel pick up info, which also updated the number of guest. I was pleasantly surprised that they refunded the second ticket. The food and location were amazing, as was the meetings with the maiko and watching them dance. I wish there was a translator during your meeting with them. Since there wasn't, I only spent about 3-5 mins with each maiko whereas the tables of Japanese guests spent as much as 15 minutes with each of them. Otherwise, it was amazing.

The meal was ordinary, but participating at this time was the right choice. We were able to relax comfortably in the tatami room, enter without waiting in the rain, and the autumn leaves were a highlight, which satisfied even my discerning friends.

お膳は、普通ですが～～この時期の参加は正解でした。
座敷でゆっくりくつろげ、雨の中並ばずに入館でき、もみじも見どころで辛口の友人達も満足してくれました。

Since we gathered on-site, traveling by train is the better option than taking a bus during busy times when arrival times are unpredictable.

First, we were taken to the large hall and enjoyed a yudofu meal set. It was very healthy and delicious.

After the meal, we immediately started our tour with a map in hand. Perhaps because the peak time had passed, there were fewer people, allowing us to take our time exploring.

There were quite a few ups and downs, so if you're not used to exercising your legs and back, it might be tough later on... (laughs)

Next time, I want to visit during the peak of the autumn leaves, even if it means dealing with crowds.

I was satisfied with both my sense of taste and sight.

現地集合なので、混雑時期は到着時間が読めないバスでの移動より、電車での移動が正解です。

まず最初に大広間に通され、湯どうふ御膳をいただきました。
とてもヘルシーで美味しかったです。

食後は早速、案内図片手に見学開始。
ピークが過ぎたせいか人出が少なく、じっくり見学できました。

結構アップダウンがあり、足腰を鍛えていないと後が厳しいかも・・・（笑）

次回は混雑覚悟で、紅葉真っ盛りに行ってみたいです。

味覚と視覚の両方満足しました。

If you want to avoid long lines, it's worth it. Also, it's nice that you can enjoy your meal in the temple grounds without worrying about the crowds. Many comments mentioned having trouble finding the reception area, but if you enter through the North Gate and navigate through the long line, you can go directly to the Eikando Hall, which is the dining area and where you can also get your admission ticket.

長蛇の列に並びたくないなら価値ありです。
それと食事も混雑を気にせず境内でゆっくりできるので助かります。
受付場所に困ったというコメントが多かったのですが、北門から入って長蛇の列の間をくぐり
直接、永観堂会館へいけばそこが食事場所であり、入場券も頂けますよ。

During the peak season for autumn leaves, it was appreciated that we didn't have to wait in line. If I think of it as a cost for the fast pass, I can understand it, but the dining experience was disappointing, with the building, room, atmosphere, food, and taste all at a level reminiscent of a school trip. I believe the atmosphere would change significantly if they at least created partitions for each group in the large tatami room.

紅葉の大混雑時期、並ばなくていいのは有り難かったです。ファストパス？の為の費用だったと思えば納得できますが、お食事は建物、部屋、雰囲気、食事、味とも修学旅行？のレベルで残念でした。畳の大部屋でもせめてグループ毎についたてを作って下さったりすれば随分雰囲気は変わるかと思うのですが。

The autumn leaves were at their peak, and there was a long line to enter, but we were able to enjoy a special viewing without any hassle. It was very helpful since I was with my mother, who is almost 90 years old.

I didn't have high expectations for the meal when I made the reservation, but the portion sizes were sufficient for men, which was great. I was disappointed that we couldn't enjoy our meal while looking at the autumn leaves, but thank you for a wonderful evening.

紅葉も1番良い時期で拝観するのに長者の列でしたが私達は特別拝観付きで楽に拝観出来ました。90歳前の母を連れてでしたのでとても助かりました。

The kaiseki cuisine at Eikando Kaikan is sufficient in quantity, but the taste is average. It's a pleasure to enjoy the illuminated scenery without having to stand in the long lines.

永観堂会館での会席料理は量的に不足はありませんが、味は普通です。
凄い行列を横目に全く並ばずにライトアップを楽しめるのは快感です。

I enjoyed the autumn leaves in Kyoto during my sightseeing trip.

As expected, Kyoto is the best during this season.

I had a delicious yudofu lunch among the autumn leaves. It was a very satisfying tour of Kyoto's fall foliage.

Eikando Zenrinji Temple, known for its beautiful autumn leaves, usually requires waiting in line to enter. However, with this package, you can enter through a side entrance before or after your meal, allowing for a smooth entry without the wait.

The yudofu (hot tofu) was just the right amount and delicious.

This package allows for a meeting and dispersal at the location, making it possible to make the most of your day.

I highly recommend it.

紅葉の永観堂　禅林寺は並ばないと入れないのが常ですが、このパッケージですと食事の前か後に脇の入り口から入れるので並ばずにすっと入れました。

湯豆腐も量も丁度良くて美味しかったです。

このパケージ、現地集合・解散なので一日を有効に使えます。

I was delayed at the meeting time due to traffic in front of Kyoto Station, but the staff came to greet me at the entrance, and I was able to enjoy both the meal and the visit without any issues. The meal was delicious and the portion was more than enough. After eating, I was able to enjoy the beautifully illuminated scenery without waiting in line at the reception for the visit (the autumn leaves were slightly past their peak, but I was satisfied both visually and in my stomach).

京都駅前の渋滞で集合時刻に遅れてしまいましたが、スタッフの方が入口まで迎えに来てくださり、食事も拝観も無事に済ますことができました。
食事は美味しく量も十分ありました。
食後に拝観受付の行列に並ぶことなくライトアップされた美しい景色を堪能することができ（紅葉は盛りをやや過ぎてはいましたが）、目もお腹も満足しました。

I enjoyed a very delicious dinner at Eikando. There was no wait for entry, and I was able to view the special illumination of the autumn leaves, which was very satisfying. I definitely want to participate again next year.

My first visit to Eikando during the autumn leaves season! As my mother warned, "It will be crowded!" I arrived at 5:00 PM to find a long line. Despite the bustling grounds, it felt wonderful to make my way to the dining reception area. The meal, which included a special night viewing ticket, was small in portion but elegantly flavored, featuring my favorite tofu, yuba, and wheat gluten. I was particularly captivated by a round, chewy dish with a thick sauce. This year seems to be a great year for the autumn leaves. The illuminated colors of gold and red were exceptionally vibrant, truly embodying the word "yugen." Walking through the grounds while enjoying the autumn foliage at night was an incredibly exciting experience. Being able to enjoy this without any "waiting time" was definitely worth the price.

初めて訪れる紅葉シーズンの「永観堂」！…『混むよ、混むよー！』と母からも言われていた通り、17：00に訪れると長蛇の列。ごった返す境内を尻目に、会食受付場所まですすむのはなんとも素敵な感覚でした。夜間特別拝観券つきの御膳は、少量ながらも、お味が上品で、大好きな豆腐と湯葉、麩があれこれ。特に、まあるくてモチモチしたあんかけのひと皿に夢中でした。紅葉も今年は当たり年のよう。金色や紅がいっそう鮮やかに染め出されるライトアップは「幽玄」のひとこと。夜の境内を紅葉狩りしながら歩くのは、とてもワクワクする体験でした。これを全く「待ち時間」なしで楽しめたのは、ハイ、お値段以上です。

The line for the illuminated viewing is incredible. It's a great plan that allows you to enjoy a meal without waiting in line.
One disappointment with the meal is that rice and miso soup are served together with the alcohol order. It would be nice if the rice could be delayed by even 10 minutes.
The autumn leaves are very beautiful, and I would like to visit again next year.

ライトアップ拝観の行列が凄いです。それを並ばず食事も取れるというのはいい企画です。
食事で残念なのは、アルコールの注文でご飯、味噌汁が一緒に出てくる事です。10分でもいいからご飯を遅らせていただけるといいです。

It was my first time experiencing the illuminated Eikando Temple. As soon as I arrived, I was intimidated by the massive crowd and long lines, but when I went to the tour desk, the staff guided me, and I was able to enter the dining area without waiting in line. The autumn leaves reflected in the pond were stunning. The meal was even better than I had expected, so I really enjoyed it.

初めてのライトアップ永観堂でした。到着早々膨大な人の波、行列に恐れをなしてしまいましたが、ツアーデスクに行くと係の人が案内してくれて、食事会場から並ばずに入れました。池に映る紅葉は最高でした。食事も思っていた以上によかったので楽しめました。

I visited Kyoto for the first time during the autumn leaves season. I arrived at Tamonkan a little after 10:30, and they kindly went to get the admission tickets for Bishamondo, allowing me to visit without any issues. After about an hour and a half of exploring, when I returned, the meal was prepared, and the table was reserved just for me, so I was able to enjoy my meal at a leisurely pace. Thank you very much.

紅葉の京都に初めて行きました。
多聞閣さんには10時半過ぎに着いたのですが、毘沙門堂の拝観券を取りに行っていただいて、滞りなく拝観することができました。
１時間半ほど散策して戻ってきた時には、御膳の用意がされており、テーブルが貸し切り状態で、ゆっくりと食事をすることができました。

I enjoyed yudofu at Eikando Temple amidst the autumn leaves and had a great visit. I had a reservation for 12:30, but I received a confirmation call just after 12:00, informing me of the taxi drop-off location and the reception area. Thanks to that, I was able to avoid the crowds, and the staff even came out to greet me.

I didn't have high expectations for the yudofu since it was part of the visit, but everyone was delighted, saying it was delicious. The tofu, which was the main attraction, was indeed excellent!

During the autumn season, all the nearby dining places had long lines, making it impossible to enjoy yudofu in such crowds. However, thanks to the kind service from the staff, my friends praised me for making a reservation with VELTRA.

The autumn leaves were truly magnificent, just as the reputation suggested.

紅葉の永観堂で、湯豆腐をいただき、拝観してきました。
12：30の予約でしたが、12時過ぎに確認のお電話が入り、タクシーの降車位置と受付位置を連絡いただきました。お陰で混雑に紛れること無く、また受付の方が飛び出して迎えてくれました。
湯豆腐は、拝観付きなので、あまり期待していなかったのですが、皆さんおいしい、おいしいと喜んでいただきました。本命の豆腐は、やはりうまい！
紅葉の季節、周辺の食事処はどこも行列ができ、とても湯豆腐なんて食べられない混雑の中、親切な中居さんの応対で、ＶＥＬＴＲＡに予約しておいて良かったと、仲間から褒められました。
紅葉も、評判に違わず、見事でしたよ。

The delicious royal banquet provided us with an experience akin to that of ancient nobility—simple yet elegant, understated yet grand. The night maple and dinner at Yongguantang are worth seeing and experiencing.

美丽得夜枫给人一种古代诗情画意得唯美，让人有一种回归自然回归古代得情怀放松～美味得宫廷宴让我们享受了一回古代贵族得体验，朴实但又不失高雅，低调又不失大气～永观堂得夜枫和晚餐，你值得观赏和体验～

I heard that Eikando gets very crowded, so I made a reservation here. I was with my daughter, and the food was delicious, and the autumn leaves were truly beautiful. All the pictures were taken with an iPhone.

永観堂は、とても混むと聞いていたので、こちらに申し込みしました。
娘と一緒でしたが、お食事も美味しく、紅葉も大変素敵でした。
