We paddled from the sea towards Kuura Falls on a stand-up paddleboard. The river is shaded by mangroves, making it cool and pleasant. Our guide explained the mangroves to us. Along the way, we stopped the paddleboard and enjoyed a light trek towards Kuura Falls. We were able to get close enough to the falls to bathe in the water, which felt great. The plunge pool was perfect for swimming and was bustling with children. There are three caves with stalactites hanging from the ceiling like icicles, creating a mystical atmosphere. The last cave has areas where light doesn't reach, allowing us to experience the pitch darkness of the cave, and we took commemorative photos while receiving explanations about the cave. The narrow exit added to the sense of adventure, making it quite fun.

Bara Island is a coral reef island floating in the sea, and we headed there by boat. Thank you to Mr. Chiba for taking so many photos for us.

川はマングローブが生えていて、陰になっているので、涼しいです。ガイドさんが、マングローブの説明をしてくれます。途中でサップを止めて、軽いトレッキングを楽しみながらクウラの滝を目指します。クウラの滝は触れる距離まで接近できて、頭から水浴びができ、気持ちよかったです。滝つぼは泳ぐことができ、子どもたちで賑わっていました。鍾乳洞は3つあって、鍾乳石がつららみたいに天井から伸びていて神秘的です。一番最後の鍾乳洞は光が届かない場所があり、鍾乳洞の真っ暗な様子を体験でき、記念撮影と、鍾乳洞の解説をしてくれます。出口が狭いので、探検気分が味わえて面白かったです。

I had heard that the weather in Ishigaki Island can change quickly, so I was worried on the day of the tour, but fortunately, it was sunny. During the stand-up paddleboarding at Kabira Bay, the wind was a bit strong, but thanks to the detailed explanations and energetic tone of our guide, Mr. Suganuma, I was able to enjoy myself. The snorkeling at the Blue Cave was overwhelming with more fish than I had imagined, and I was moved by the beauty of Ishigaki Island's nature, which I experienced with all my senses.

I came to Iriomote Island because I wanted to visit the island of Balas, known as the island of miracles. The sea is far more beautiful than in the photos, and Balas Island, made of coral, exceeded my expectations! Just being here is already a great satisfaction, but since I was here, I also participated in a stand-up paddleboarding experience. I was able to enjoy everything—sea, mountains, and rivers—all in one tour, including mangroves and waterfalls. The staff were kind and helpful as well.

I visited Ishigaki Island for the first time, but since I didn't have a driver's license, I booked a tour to get around the island. I was satisfied to be able to do stand-up paddleboarding and snorkeling in beautiful waters that I wouldn't have been able to reach on my own. It was great to also visit Kabira Park during lunchtime and enjoy the island's natural beauty in just one day.

Paddling to the waterfall, I was able to see the untouched limestone caves and land on a sandbar made of coral in the beautiful sea. It was the best day!

After the activities, I was able to take a shower in a private room. I didn't want to get on the ferry feeling sticky, so I think this is an excellent service for women!

I really wanted to see sea turtles, so I joined this tour. Our guide took us from the beach to the dive point, which was quite a distance to swim. However, for those who are not good at swimming, you can hold onto a bodyboard, and the guide will pull you along, so it's very reassuring.

As soon as we reached the dive point, we spotted a sea turtle! The guide mentioned that we were lucky that day, as there were sea turtles everywhere, and we ended up seeing a total of six turtles! We were able to see them up close while they were surfacing for air, and the guide skillfully took photos with the turtles, making it the best tour ever!

The guide's stories were also very enjoyable, and I had a great time. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see sea turtles!

海ガメをどうしても見てみたくてこちらのツアーに参加させていただきました。
ガイドのお兄さんについてビーチからエントリーしポイントまで結構な距離を泳ぎましたが、泳ぎの苦手な方はボディボードにつかまる事が出来、ガイドのお兄さんが引っ張ってつれていってくれますので安心です。
ポイントにつくとすぐ海ガメを発見！
この日はガイドのお兄さんもおっしゃっていましたが、運が良かったのかあちこちに海ガメがいてくれて、トータル6匹の海ガメちゃんに会えました！
息継ぎのタイミングで間近で海ガメを見る事が出来、またガイドのお兄さんが上手に海ガメと写真を撮ってくださり最高のツアーでした！

I was a woman traveling alone, lacking confidence in both swimming and physical fitness before turning 60, but I was able to encounter sea turtles twice and swim with them. If you have the time, I recommend a full-day snorkeling course over a half-day one. Unfortunately, it seemed like the fish had gone somewhere during the half-day session, but at the points around Tokashiki Island, I was able to meet sea turtles at both locations, and they performed the lovely act of swimming leisurely with me, which was a rare experience.

I also want to thank Instructor A, who probably would have preferred to assist a younger lady but took care of me, an unsure older woman, with such kindness. I truly appreciate it. I also received a postcard, which will serve as a wonderful memento of my trip. I definitely want to participate again.

泳ぎも体力も自信がない還暦前の女子一人旅でしたが、海亀に二回も遭遇できて、一緒に泳ぐことができました。もし時間に余裕があるのであれば、スノーケリングは半日コースよりも一日コースをお勧めします。半日のポイントではお魚さんはどっかに出かけてしまったようで残念でしたが、渡嘉敷島のポイントでは二か所とも海亀さんに会うことができ、一緒にのんびり泳いでくれるというパフォーマンスをしてくれて、得難い経験でした。またインストラクターのAさん、若いレイディの相手をしたかったでしょうけど、おぼつかないおばさんの私を気遣って面倒を見てくださり、本当にありがとうございました。
またお葉書も頂戴し、旅の記念といたします。またぜひ参加したいと思います。

It was within walking distance from our hotel in Onna Village, and the shops were nice. It was a very satisfying plan where I could fully enjoy both sup and snorkeling in one day. I participated alone, but I got along well with the guide and other tour participants, making it a fun experience from start to finish. I even went to a recommended izakaya with the people I became friends with, and it created wonderful memories after the tour ended. This is a tour that you can be very satisfied with even if you join alone. I highly recommend participating if you're traveling solo.

I was able to fully enjoy the great nature of Ishigaki Island in one day, experiencing the sea, mangroves, and waterfalls, and it was truly fun! I really wanted to go to Barasu Island, and I appreciated that the staff recommended the best day to visit after making the reservation. The day we went to Barasu Island was perfect! There were few other people, and I was able to take many great photos. Iriomote Island is rich in nature, and since it seemed cumbersome to create a detailed schedule on my own, I opted for a one-day package plan. As a result, it was a great decision! First, we went to the power spot, Kura Falls. We paddled to Kura Falls by canoe. There were also people on stand-up paddleboards (SUP). Since we are not very good at sports and it was a two-person canoe, we chose that option. The quiet mangroves were pleasant, and there were great photo spots. At the base of the waterfall, we washed away the sweat from paddling and experienced things we normally wouldn't, like getting drenched under the waterfall.

Next, we went on a tour of the limestone caves. I was deeply moved by the natural beauty created by nature. Personally, it was the place I was most satisfied with.

After a lunch break, we took a large boat from the shop to Barasu Island. It didn't sway at all, so I was able to enjoy it without getting seasick. Barasu Island truly lived up to its name as a miracle island, being entirely made of coral.

It was a packed day. I think this is a tour that people staying in Ishigaki Island can truly enjoy.

まずはパワースポットであるクーラの滝に行きました。クーラの滝まではカヌーで漕いで行きます。SUPの方もいました。私たちは運動が得意ではないのと、2人乗りなのでカヌーを選びました。静かなマングローブは気持ちよく、写真映え抜群のポイントもありました。滝壺ではカヌーでかいた汗を思いっきり流して、滝に打たれたり、普段できない体験ができました。
その次は鍾乳洞のツアーになりました。大自然が創りだした造形美にひたすら感動させられました。個人的には一番満足度の高い場所でした。
その後お昼を挟んで、バラス島にショップの大きな船で行きました。全く揺れなかったので、酔わずに楽しめました。バラス島は奇跡の島と言われるだけあって、本当にサンゴだけでできた島でした。
盛りだくさんの1日になりました。石垣島に泊まっている人こそ楽しめるツアーだと思います。

I was worried about how to take photos without our own camera, but the guide took a lot of pictures for us, so we were able to create memories. The photos were all beautiful and taken from angles that only the guide could capture, which was amazing! The tour was also interesting and fun.
