Okinawa Blue Cave

everything was marvelous. The staff people was very kind and the journey was amazing.

I had a great time that weekend morning. Not knowing what to expect I found the dive shop was casual and friendly and we soon went out to the dock for the boat ride. The boat was packed with divers, while I was going to ... moresnorkel with a few others. They have many guides, so there was no problem.

The blue cave is very nice. When you get close to it, the boat stops, you plop in the water and swim towards the cave following the floating ring towed by the guide. The cave and environs are pretty busy with divers, and it's a good thing for snorkelers that they all go underwater! Good thing for them too that the volume of the ocean can easily handle their larger numbers compared to the snorkelers on the surface. Saw many coral, and fish, and feeding the fish is fun. Those little things are pretty deft - they will eat their bread pieces from your hand but you can't catch them! The cave is nice and blue in spots, as promised, and the water is very clear. Even though it rained towards the end and on the way back, it doesn't change the cave experience. My guide was very nice and she took 79 pictures with her underwater camera which I received on a CD / DVD. They know all the right spots and poses to shoot for!

My advice is to park in the back in the middle spots (4, 5, 6). Wear your own sandals to the boat - you'll be more comfortable. Arrive in your swimsuit and bring a change of clothes and a towel. That's it, and you'll have a lot of fun!

I have snorkeled for decades all over the world--Blue Cave is a treasure. The staff at Bokenjima took wonderful care of me (even though they spoke barely any English, it didn't matter in the water!). This is an experienc... moree not to be missed.

These dive guides really good, each hand holding 1 to 3 divers
Anyway I can see that these are very easy dive sites, calm and relax
After the snorkel, we took a short boat ride, we walked back to the shop. There we have a nice shower, collected the CD

This was an great experience. From start to finish, the staff and especially Mayu took the time to inform us of safety procedures and other important details. The colors inside the cave were majestic! The fish were brigh... moret and plentiful. Your in good hands with the team they put together here. Would recommend! Thanks!

We had an amazing time during this private snorkeling tour. It was very private indeed, the instructor was always and only with us. She took a lot of pictures , knew all the good spots and lighting for good pics. Even to... moreok the dive down and took a cool silhouette picture.
The facility was well equipped with everything, nice warm shower with really good shampoo, conditioner and soap. Hair dryer and lotion, you just need to bring change of clothes and towel. Everything else they have ready for you.
The views and the ocean were amazing , even though it was raining really hard but there was no problem with the snorkeling.

I was pleasantly happy with our instructor , she was super sweet and I can’t wait to go back again for scuba diving next time.
