We had a 5-year-old child with us, but since our guide Ko-chan was experienced in handling children, we could trust him completely. It was thoughtful to have a guide who is familiar with kids. Not only did we paddle the kayak, but we also made stops to observe the rocky areas and shallow waters, which provided a nice break. It was wonderful to see Ko-chan adjusting his paddling to match the child's movements, but it's a shame we couldn't capture that moment in a photo.

5歳の子も一緒でしたが、子供の扱いに慣れたこうちゃんがガイドでしたので、安心して任せることができました。子供に慣れているガイドを付けるという心遣いがいいですね。カヤックを漕ぐだけではなく、途中で上陸して岩場や浅瀬の観察も、ちょっとした休憩になってよかったです。子供が漕ぐのにこうちゃんが合わせてオールを動かしてくれる様子がとてもよかったのですが、写真に撮る事が出来なかったのが残念です。

The boat will take you near a sand bar in the Karama Islands area. Once the anchor is set each group gets a ride on the banana boat pulled by a jet ski for no more than 10 minutes. Short but exhilarating ride, better hold on and get ready to get sea water spray.

Once you're back on the boat, select your snorkel mask either single piece or dual. I prefer dual for easier defogging and fit. Climb to the back of the boat and drop in to the water. There was a strong current when we went so unless you want a workout, hold on to a long rope attached to multiple floating buoys.

Snorkeling was restricted to an area within two ropes due to the current. There was no long distance snorkeling and diving down under the surface not allowed due to mandatory life vests. Pretty much just float and hope you see something interesting which did happen when a shark swam by.

A photographer was available to take some underwater pics that were shared upon email request at no extra cost.

Seating is at the top deck where you'll get plenty of sun. The comfy shady spots are to the right and left of the captain. There is a toilet available in the bottom deck but only allowed if you're dry so bring a towel.

Overall a fun, quick adventure, mostly for newbies.

We started with sea kayaking and then explored a limestone cave, and I was completely overwhelmed by the mystical beauty of Pumpkin! Jumping from Pumpkin was also thrilling and a lot of fun!

We had about a two-hour lunch break, so I took a short nap before joining the snorkeling activity. The guide, with his refreshing smile, made it enjoyable, and I learned about the corals and fish of Miyako Island. The water was incredibly clear, and I was so excited to see sea turtles up close!

I was moved by how close I could get to the corals and many different types of fish. I'm really glad I participated in this tour. Thank you!

Initially, the plan was to land by boat, but I received a call the day before saying that due to the tides, we couldn't land by boat and had to choose between snorkeling to get there or giving up on Barasu Island and going to Yufu Island instead (there was originally a note about the possibility of changing the tour).

Since I have children and had never been to a place where I couldn't touch the bottom, I was anxious about snorkeling, but our guide, Toshi, kindly explained everything over the phone, which I really appreciated. In the end, I was glad I chose snorkeling. I got to see a lot of fish in the beautiful sea, and I was able to go to Barasu Island as well.

The mangrove canoeing was also fun, as we could all ride together as a family of five, and it felt like an adventure. I would like to join Toshi's tour again next time!

子供もおり、足がつかない所に行ったことがなかった為シュノーケリングに不安がありましたがガイドのトッシーが電話で丁寧に説明してくださりありがたかったです。結果、シュノーケリングを選んで良かったです。綺麗な海で魚をたくさん見られたし、バラス島にも行くことができました。
マングローブカヌーも、夫婦と子供３人乗りができ、冒険のようで楽しかったです。

For those who are unsure about swimming, you can hold onto the float that the guide has, so I think you'll be able to enjoy it! 以前恩納村でシュノーケリングしてあまりハマらなかったのですが、今回は魚がいっぱいいて比較的自由に楽しくシュノーケリングさせて頂きました！魚がたくさんいて楽しかったので若干海洋恐怖症でしたが克服できた気がします！泳ぎが不安な方はガイドの方が持ってる浮き輪に掴まって泳げるので楽しめると思います！SUPも写真をたくさん撮って貰えるので満足できると思います！自由な時間で結構遠くまで行けたりのんびりできるのでオススメです！
