As the slogan suggests, I think there is a high possibility of seeing whales. However, it felt a bit lonely since you can only see their fins from a distance. I understand that you can't get too close because they are wild animals, and the weather also plays a role in this.

うたい文句通り、クジラは見られる可能性がかなり高いと思います。ただ、遠くから背びれなどを見る感じなので、ちょっと淋しい感じはしました。野生動物相手だから近づき過ぎることはできないし、天候もあるからその辺の事情はわかりますけどね。

The departure that was originally scheduled for the morning was canceled, and it was rescheduled for the following afternoon. On the day of cancellation, the wind was strong and the waves were high, so I understood it was not possible. The following afternoon also had some waves, and I felt a bit seasick right after we set sail, which was tough.

However, after about an hour, we were able to reach the area where the whales were, and we got to see them. The number of whales increased from two to three, and they stayed with us until just before the boat returned. It was very moving.

However, it was disappointing that there seemed to be regulations preventing us from getting too close. Also, capturing them on camera was quite difficult.

当初予定した日の午前中が出港なしになり、翌日の午後になりました。中止の日は風が強く波も出ていたので、無理かなとわかりました。翌日の午後も少し波があり、出港してすぐは船酔いしそうでつらかったです。
しかし、1時間ほどしてクジラのいる場所に行くことができ、見ることができました。2頭、3頭、とクジラが増え、船が戻る直前まで、クジラたちはいてくれました。とても感動しました。
ただ、規則があるらしくあまりそばまで近づけないのが残念でした。
また、カメラにおさめるのはなかなか難しいですね。

On the afternoon of March 14, after about an hour of searching from the port of Naha, we encountered three humpback whales. We were able to see them about 10 meters in front of the boat. We observed them for about an hour and received photos taken by a drone, making it a valuable tour.

3/14の午後、那覇の港から1時間ほど探すと3頭のザトウクジラと出会いました。
船の10mぐらい前で見る事が出来ました。
1時間ほど観察でき、ドローン撮影の写真も貰えて価値のあるツアーでした。

There were about 20 to 30 people on the boat, but it was nice that it wasn't so crowded that we couldn't see the ocean. Perhaps because it was the day after a high wave warning, the boat was really rocking, and quite a few people were feeling seasick and vomiting.

We spotted a whale less than an hour after setting sail, and we were able to see it from a decent distance. It didn't jump, but it did show us its fluke and tail fin several times.

I also appreciated the shuttle service.

一つの船に2〜30人ほど？で、人が多くて海が見えないことはなくて良かったです。高波注意報が出た次の日だからか、揺れがすごく酔って吐いてる人がかなりいました。
くじらは出航して1時間経たないうちに見つかり、そこそこの近さで見れました。ジャンプまではしてくれませんでしたが、ブラーや尾ビレは何度か見せてくれました。
送迎があるのもありがたいです。

I was able to see turtles swimming. I booked an early morning trip due to the tide, but when I arrived at the reception early, there was availability on an earlier boat, so they were able to change it for me. I recommend booking during the time just before high tide.

泳いでいる亀を見ることができました。
潮位の関係で朝早い便を予約したのですが受付に早めに行ったら、もう一便前に空きがあったので変更していただけました。
予約する際は満潮手前の時間帯がお勧めです。

We arrived by rental car, and there was a dedicated parking lot. There is a reception area in front of the parking lot.

We arrived early, and I was grateful that they allowed us to board the earlier ferry. It takes about five minutes to walk to the boarding area, but there is a ramp leading to the beach.

The transparency of Kabira Bay seems to change depending on the time of day. It looked better earlier in the day. Although it was cloudy, we could see clearly. I was very satisfied to see turtles and coral.

The guide was considerate, making it easy for us to enjoy the nature of Ishigaki Island while sitting down.

レンタカーで向かいましたが、専用駐車場がありました。駐車場前に受付があります。
早く着きましたが、前の便に乗せてくだったのがありがたかったです。
乗り場まで五分程度歩きますが、浜までスロープがついています。
川平湾の透明度も時間帯によって変わるそう。この日は早い方が良さそうでした。曇りでしたが綺麗に見れました。亀や珊瑚が見れ大満足です。
ガイドさんが見やすいよう配慮してくださり、座りながら石垣島の自然が楽しめました。

I participated with three colleagues from work. The tide wasn't great, so the visibility was a bit lacking, but we enjoyed seeing things like mantis shrimp and coral.

職場の人と４人で参加しました。潮が良くなかったので、透明度が今ひとつでしたがシャコ貝やサンゴなど、楽しめました。

I have participated in whale watching several times, but this time, I was able to see part of a whale for the first time! The tail fin, dorsal fin, and the blow. While it may be expected to see these during whale watching, the excitement and impact of finally witnessing them after so many attempts is beyond words for me. The staff's guidance on where to look for the whales was also precise, and I believe everyone in the group was able to see them without missing out. I'm really glad I continued to participate without giving up.

ホエールウォッチングに何度か参加させてもらってますが、今回は何と、なんと、ナント…初めてクジラの一部を拝むことができました(^^♪
尾びれに背びれ、そしてブロー。ホエールウォッチングなので見れて当たり前なのかもしれませんが、何度も参加して拝むことができなかった自分にとって、その感動・迫力は言葉に言い表せません。
スタッフの皆様方のクジラの見える方角の案内も的確で、参加者みんなが見逃すことなく拝めたと思います。諦めずに参加し続けてよかったです。

I was worried about seasickness, so I joined this whale watching tour on a large boat. It was a nice bonus that they provided transportation close to the hotel.

After about 40 minutes out of the port, we spotted a whale and stopped the boat, allowing passengers to go to the front deck. During the hour of observation, we were able to see whales about 5 to 6 times.

■ Good points
- While the whales were diving, they provided explanations about them, which kept us engaged.
- When a whale was spotted, they quickly changed the boat's direction and got closer, making it easy to see.
- Although there was some rocking on the large boat, I was hardly worried about seasickness.

■ Bad points
- The boat was nearly full with about 60 passengers, and the observation deck at the front was extremely crowded. For safety reasons, we had to stay seated, which made it quite uncomfortable as there was no space to stretch our legs. Additionally, since the deck was flat, shorter people had their view obstructed by those in front of them, making it quite difficult to see.

船酔いが心配だったので、大型船のこちらのホエールウォッチングツアーに参加しました。ホテル近くまで送迎付きなのも嬉しいポイント。
港を出て40分ほどでクジラを見つけたとのことで停船し、乗客は船の前のデッキへ。1時間ほどの観察で5〜6回クジラを見つけることができました。

■良かった点
・クジラが潜っている間はクジラについての説明をしてくれたので、飽きずに見学できました。
・クジラが見つかるとすぐに船の向きを変えたり近づいてくれたりするので、見やすかったです。
・大型船でも揺れないことはないですが、船酔いは殆ど心配ないくらいでした。
■悪かった点
・ほぼ満席の60名ほど乗っており、船の前の見学デッキは超満員。安全のため座っている必要があるので、足を伸ばしたりできるスペースがなくかなり辛かったです。またデッキは平らなので背が低い人は前の人に視界を遮られてかなり見ずらい状況でした。

It was very good. The instructor was kind, and I was able to see more whales than I expected. I was moved to see them up close.

とてもよかったです。インストラクターの方も親切で思った以上にクジラを見る事が出来ました。
近くで見れて感動しました。

The weather was favorable, and I was very satisfied to see the whales. I would like to participate again when I go to Okinawa.

天候にも恵まれ、クジラの姿も見ることが出来大満足でした。 沖縄に行った時はまた参加させて頂きたいと思います。

In conclusion, it was a very good tour!

Since it was stated that same-day reservations were okay, I considered making a reservation depending on the weather. On the day of my arrival, the weather looked good while I was on the plane, but I couldn't select same-day booking. Since the weather was suitable for another day, I made a reservation for a different day. Just to be sure, I directly contacted the tour company, and they informed me that it was a system issue and that changes could be made on the day of. They changed it for me on the same day. Furthermore, I received advice that the conditions were better in the morning than in the afternoon due to the tides, so after arriving at the airport, I rented a car and went straight there!

Additionally, parking was free. I don't think the entrance was too difficult to find.

One slight disappointment was that the voice of the guide and captain inside the glass-bottom boat was hard to hear... However, they repeated the names of the fish and important information twice, so it wasn't like I didn't understand anything.

I am very grateful to have participated under such good conditions!

結論、とてもよいツアーでした！

当日予約OKと記載してあったので、天候次第で予約しようと検討しました。
来島日の機内で天候がよさそうだったので予約取得しようとしたところ、当日を選択できませんでした。
別日でも利用できる天候だったので、別日に予約取得。
念のためツアー会社に直接問い合わせたところ、システム上の問題なので当日に変更可能ですとの回答をいただき、当日に変更していただきました。
さらに、潮の関係で予約していた午後よりも午前の方が条件が良いですよとアドバイスをいただき、
空港到着後レンタカーを借りて直行しました！

しかも駐車場も無料でした。エントランスもそんなにわかりにくくないと思います。

ちょっと残念は、グラスボート内のガイド兼船長の方の声が聞きにくかった、、、。
でも、魚の名前や重要なことは２回繰り返して言われていたので、
わからないって感じでは、なかったです。

とても良い条件で参加させていただき、大変感謝しております！

I was moved to see whales up close. I would like to participate again if I have the chance. However, this time the boat was rocky, so those who are sensitive to motion should take precautions.

間近でクジラを見れたので感動しました。また、機会があれば参加したいと思います。ただ、今回は、船が揺れたので船に弱い方は対策必要です。

The condition of the sea wasn't good, and the visibility was poor, so I didn't encounter many fish. ⤵️ I couldn't really understand what the guide was saying, and it didn't seem like they were trying to make it enjoyable.

海の状態が良くなかったのか、透明度も悪くあまりお魚さんとは遭遇できませんでした⤵️
ガイド？も何を言っているのかよく分からず‥楽しませようという気は見られなかったです。

Just about 10 minutes out from Naha Port, the coral reefs and marine fish were beautifully visible. It's different from seeing them in an aquarium, and I highly recommend it.

那覇港から10分程度沖に出ただけで珊瑚礁と海水魚が綺麗に見えた。
水族館で見るのと何かが違いお勧めです。

I was able to see a mother and baby whale! I participated alone, but thank you for being so considerate. I got to learn about whale ecology and see samples of baleen, and thanks to the motion sickness set, I was comfortable.

クジラ親子が見れました！
一人で参加でしたが色々気を遣っていただきありがとうございました。クジラの生態やヒゲの標本なども見せてもらい、酔い止めセットのおかげで快適でした。

I was unsure of the directions from Asahibashi Station on the Yui Rail, so I called for assistance, and they kindly helped me. I was able to easily reach the meeting place.

The boat was smaller than I expected, but once on board, the layout of the restaurant was spacious enough. However, the deck had limited space for movement, so it didn't quite create a relaxed atmosphere for enjoying the boat trip, but it was nice to look at the scenery through the windows in the restaurant.

The food included a buffet area with salads, bread, soup, and desserts, and they were replenishing items as well. They also offered local dishes like mimiga. The staff worked hard to keep an eye on the passengers.

The live performance was by the Okinawa-born artist Yamato Kōno, whom I heard for the first time, and he was a great singer.

I was fortunate with the weather. Indeed, the satisfaction of the cruising experience greatly varies with the weather.

ゆいレールの旭橋駅からの道順がわからなかったので電話で問い合わせさせていただきましたが、親切に教えていただきました。集合場所にも簡単に行けました。
思っていたよりも小さめの船でしたが、乗船してみるとレストランの配置も充分な広さでした。ただ甲板は移動出来る範囲が狭いので船旅気分をゆったり味わう雰囲気ではなかったのでレストラン内の窓から風景を見ているのもいいです。
料理はブッフェスペースにサラダ、パン、スープ、デザートが揃っていて補充もしています。郷土料理のミミガーなどもあります。スタッフも乗客に目が届くようによく働いています。
ライブは沖縄出身アーチストのやまとこーのさん、初めて聴きましたが歌上手いです。
天気に恵まれてよかったです。
やはり天気の影響でクルージングは満足度大きく変わります。

For those who are prone to seasickness, motion sickness medication was available for purchase at the reception.

当日は船が揺れるというアナウンスがあったので緊張しましたが、大丈夫でした。

出航後、40分ほどで鯨の親子に出逢うことができました。
かなり船の近くまで来てくれたので大感激です。

限られた期間だけのホエールウォッチング、是非おすすめしたいです。

船に弱い方は、受付に酔い止めも販売されていました。

I experienced whale watching for the first time in my life. It was thrilling and impressive to see the whales breaching and spouting so close up.

ホエールウォッチングを生まれて初めて体験しました。こんなに近くでクジラの潮吹きジャンプ等見れて大迫力と大興奮でした。

I definitely saw whales. However, the boat was rocking too much, and the front passenger area felt like a poaching vessel with windows positioned high up. There were etiquette bags hanging everywhere, anticipating that people might get sick. If you are prone to seasickness, it's best not to go in the winter.

クジラは確かに見えました。
しかし船が揺れすぎで前の方の客室は窓も上の方にあり密漁船の雰囲気。
吐くのを前提に至る所にエチケット袋がぶら下がっていました。
船酔いする方は、冬は絶対行かない方が良いです。

Before going, I thought it would be lucky if we could see them. We arrived at a place where we might encounter whales and waited. I was thrilled when I saw the spout. There were three whales: a mother and her calf, along with a male. They jumped several times, showed their large tails, and even raised a flipper, which got our guide excited as well. It seems it's rare for them to play for such a long time.

When the time came, we had to leave the whales behind. What struck me in the end was the captain's excellent maneuvering skills. Next time I go to Okinawa, I want to go whale watching.

行く前までは、会えればラッキーくらいに思っていました。
遭遇できそうな場所に着いて、クジラを待ちました。潮吹きを見たときは感激しました。母子クジラとオスの3頭でした。そのうち何度もジャンプしたり、大きい尾びれが見えたり、片手？を上げたりでガイドさんまでも興奮ぎみでした。こんなに長く遊んでくれたのは珍しいそうです。
時間になり、クジラを置いて私たちが帰って行くことになりました。
最後に思ったのが、船長さんの操縦のうまさです。
次回、沖縄に行ったら、クジラウオッチングに行きたいと思いました。

The captain and the staff were all wonderful. We saw many boats watching the same whales at the same time, but I felt that the whales came closer to our boat and we were able to see more than on other boats. After an hour of observation, when we said goodbye to the whales, they waved back at us, which made me feel like they recognized us. It was truly an amazing tour. Personally, I love airplanes, so I was thrilled to see them up close from the boat. I went with the mindset that it would be lucky to encounter whales since it was nature, but I ended up seeing so many whales and was really impressed.

船長さんやスタッフの方も素敵な方ばかりで、
同じ時間帯に沢山の同じクジラのwatchingの船を
みましたが、クジラ達は私達の船と泳ぐように近くにきてくれたり他の船よりも沢山みれたのではと思いました。
1時間の観察後にクジラ達にさよならをしたときに
手を振るように又姿をみせてくれたので
私達の事をわかっているんだなぁと感じました。
本当におすすめなツアーでした。個人的に飛行機が大好きなので船からの間近で飛行機がみれた事にも感激しました。自然あいてなのでクジラに出会えたらラッキーくらいで行ったので飛行機ばかり目に入りましたが
それよりもクジラの群れやとにかく沢山みれて
感激でした。

- The waves were calm, and I felt comfortable without any seasickness. I wore a raincoat because I was worried about the weather, but it also helped keep me warm.
- I regret not being able to see the jumps like in the photos, but I was satisfied that I could clearly see the large tail fin.

・波も穏やかで、船酔いもなく快適でした。天気が心配なためカッパを着ていきましたが、防寒対策にもなりました。
・写真のようなジャンプが見れず心残りでしたが、大きな尾びれはしっかり目に焼き付けることができ、満足しています。

On the morning of the day, I received a message that due to bad weather, we couldn't depart, so meals would be provided while the ship remained docked. They also offered the option to cancel, but since it was difficult to add other plans, we decided to have our meals on the docked ship. As for the meal quality, I would say it was below average. If the ship had been moving, my impression might have been different, but I would consider it again if the opportunity arises.

当日の朝、連絡を貰い 天候が悪く出港出来ないので
停泊したままの食事提供との事で、キャンセルのご提案も頂きましたが他の予定を追加するのは厳しいため、そのまま、停泊船にて食事となりました。食事内容的には、中の下の感想です。船が動いていたら、、もっと違う感想となったかは不明ですが、機会があれば検討したいです。

I thought we would head out to the open sea, but we kept moving along the coast, and all I could see were cranes, which made the view terrible.
The quality of the food is low.
I think it's best to consider the meal as included with the boarding fee.

沖の方に出るのかと思っていたら、ずっと陸に沿って動いていて、クレーンばかり見えていて景色が最悪でした。
食事のクオリティは低いです。
乗船料を払ったら食事が付いてきたと思えばいいと思います。

The person who sang with the ukulele had a wonderful voice. I felt that the meal was a bit lacking. However, even if the portion was small, there were salads, soups, and fries, so there's no need to worry.

ウクレレで歌ってくれた人がとても声が良く素敵でした。食事は物足りなく感じました。但し、量が足りなくても、サラダやスープやフライドポテトがあるので心配ないです。

I was very satisfied to see the jump. The staff member's talk was also fun! I learned that there are whales near Naha. I resolved to be more mindful about not polluting the water.

ジャンプもみられて大満足です。係のお兄さんのトークも楽しかった！那覇の近くでくじらがいるんですね。水を汚さないようにしようと心新たにおもいました。

I was worried that I wouldn't be able to see beautiful scenery due to the cloudy weather, but I was able to see a very clear sea. I also encountered a sea turtle and had a great time.

曇りでの運行でキレイな景色を見ることができるか不安でしたが、とても透明度の高い海を見ることができました。ウミガメにも逢え良い気分で時間を過ごす事ができましたー。

Since you're looking down while using the glass boat, it's easy to get seasick. However, when I focused intently on the fish shadows, I was able to forget about that and enjoy the experience.

グラスポーとはやはり下を向いている状態なので、酔いやすい

It was cloudy, so I couldn't see the sunset, but I was glad to enjoy the atmosphere on the ship, the food, and the live music. I had a great time. I will definitely go again when I travel to Okinawa.

曇りだったのでサンセットを見ることはできなかったのですが、船内の雰囲気、料理、そして生演奏を聞くことができて良かったです。楽しい時間を過ごせました。沖縄旅行するときはまた行きます。
