The day before, I received a call saying that if we were to go to Yufu Island by rental car, we could take our time without any time constraints. I apologize for the late notice, so we changed our plan to exclude Yufu Island. Thank you for handling the changes with Veltra and for your flexible response.

On the day of the trip, I wore a swimsuit, a rash guard, and half pants for the beach. Before we left, they lent me a waterproof backpack and trekking shoes, and we organized our luggage before heading out.

There were both single and double kayaks available, and since we were participating as a pair, they asked which one we wanted to use.

We set off in a double kayak. It was quite a challenge to synchronize our paddling, so we called out "right, left, right, right, right, left" together, and the guide complimented us, saying, "That's great!" (laughs). I heard that some people end up arguing during this part... (sweat).

After enjoying the kayaking, we moved on to trekking! We took short breaks along the way, and the guide explained the unique plants and animals of the Yaeyama Islands and took photos for us. There were some challenging spots, but we listened carefully to the guide's instructions and communicated with those behind us, climbing together as a group.

Among the people we passed, there were elderly individuals and small children!

We initially planned not to enter the water at Pinai Sara Falls, but seeing everyone enjoying themselves in the heat and the open air made us decide to go in. We carefully entered from the shallow area, and thanks to the life jackets, we were able to float and had a lot of fun.

We chatted while eating our lunch, then retraced our steps and kayaked back.

It seems that showers are available for a fee, but they kindly provided us with a free shower room just for changing.

We were blessed with good weather and wonderful participants, making it a very enjoyable experience.

前日に、レンタカー行動なら由布島は自分達で行った方が時間の制約がなくゆっくりできますよ。連絡遅くてすみません。と電話をくれたので、由布島なしのプランへ変更しました。
ベルトラの変更手続きもしてくださり、柔軟な対応ありがとうございました。

当日は、水着と上下ラッシュガードに海辺用のハーフパンツを着用して現地へ。出発前に防水リュックとトレッキング用の靴を貸してくれ、荷物を整理して出発。

カヌーは1人用と2人用があり、2人で参加したため、どちらにするか聞かれました。

２人用で出発。息を合わせないと大変で、右、左、右、右、右、左と２人で声を出しあって漕いでいたら、ガイドさんに、良いですね〜と言われました（笑）中には、ケンカになってしまう方もいるらしいです。。。苦笑

カヌーを満喫して次はトレッキング！
途中で小休憩も取ってくれますし、八重山特有の植物や動物達を説明してくれたり写真も撮ってくれます。なかなかハードな場所もありましたが、ガイドさんの言葉をきちんと聞いて、後ろの人達にも伝え、みんなで登りました。

すれ違う人達の中には、ご高齢の方や小さな小さなお子様もいました！

ピナイサーラの滝で滝壺へ入らない予定でしたが、暑さと開放感とみんなが気持ち良さそうにしているのをみて入ることにしました。浅瀬から足元を注意しながらゆっくりと入っていき、ライフジャケットのお陰でぷかぷか浮かぶことができて楽しかったです。

お弁当を食べながらおしゃぺりして、またまた来た道を戻り、再びカヌーに乗って戻りました。

シャワーは有料のようですが、着替えのみのため、無料でシャワールームを貸してくれました。

お天気にも参加者のみなさんにも恵まれ、とても楽しかったです。

We challenged ourselves to snorkeling for the first time as a family of four. At first, we were a bit anxious, but our guide, Hikaru, provided thorough and appropriate explanations, and we truly enjoyed the experience from start to finish! We were able to see sea turtles up close, and the photos taken were absolutely beautiful—almost identical in quality to those on the website. We also got fantastic family shots with the sea turtles, and I couldn't be more satisfied. Additionally, we were grateful for the video recording as well. It's no surprise that this tour is rated number one for satisfaction! I highly recommend this tour!!

I used this service for a trip with two female friends. Neither of us had a driver's license, and we had a pretty clear idea of the places we wanted to visit, so we decided to use a private taxi for flexibility.

The driver was very kind and listened to our requests while suggesting various plans and destinations. He skillfully managed to show us places we didn't know about and even took photos for us, which we really appreciated. Inside the car, he chatted with us at just the right amount, making it a comfortable experience.

At Pineapple Park, we were thrilled by the parade of our favorite dinosaurs, and at the Churaumi Aquarium, we were amazed by the giant whale sharks and rays! After checking the weather conditions for the day, we received information about the meeting place. The two women relied on Google Maps, and since it was midnight and the road was pitch dark, we were really anxious... When we arrived and met the photographer, I was relieved to find he was very kind 😅.

Before the shoot, we discussed the image ideas and received advice. The photographer played music to help us relax as we, who were not used to being photographed, posed for the pictures! The song selection was great! Fortunately, we were able to enjoy a beautiful view of the Milky Way while taking many photos 👍. It was moving 😂.

About a week later, the edited photos were sent to us via Line. My family laughed together, saying they didn't look like composites! I am truly grateful for this trip, the many people we met, and the wonderful weather! I've been to many islands overseas, but Miyako Island was the best!

Unfortunately, our female guide's knowledge and explanation skills were not at a level suitable for the job. While it's natural that we might not see stars or creatures, the guide's explanations should meet a certain standard. It felt like we were just walking through the bushes with a student, merely expressing reactions like "This is amazing!" or "That's gross!"

Additionally, regarding logistics, we received no communication about the pickup location until late the night before, and the amount of information required for the consent form was excessive. It would have been better if this had been sent in advance. Since I had to input the information for each family member on my smartphone, it took over 10 minutes just for four people, which is no joke.

There are other similar tours available, so it might be better to consider those.

We had a canoe experience as a family of three. The guide, Mr. Seki, provided clear explanations and communicated with all participants, which made us feel at ease throughout the experience. We learned a lot about Iriomote Island and the ecology of the mangroves.

It was hot outside, but the limestone cave was a bit cool. I was able to enjoy some cold barley tea, and although I had water that had reached room temperature, it was a relief. I was able to visit three islands, and it was a very meaningful time. The mangroves, water buffalo carts, and the streets of Taketomi Island were amazing. The rental bicycles were great. The ferry from Ishigaki Island is very rocky, so those who are prone to motion sickness definitely need to take anti-nausea medication! After arriving at Taketomi Island, I took a bus to the city center, but it was unfortunate that the departure was delayed because we were waiting for the next ferry. This reduced our sightseeing time on Taketomi Island.

3つの島をまわることが出来て、とても有意義な時間でした。
マングローブや水牛車、竹富島の街並みは最高でした。レンタサイクル良かったです。
石垣島からの船はとても揺れるので、酔いやすい人は酔い止め必須です！
竹富島に着いてから市街地まで行くバスに乗車したけれど、次の便の船を待っていた為、発車が遅れたことが残念です。竹富島観光の時間が減りました。

Our family's first trip to Miyako Island ♬
We joined this tour because we wanted to see sea turtles.
Both my husband and I were worried about whether our son, who can't swim and has no snorkeling experience, would enjoy it, but thanks to Brother Hikaru (Matsuura Hikaru), he was able to have a great time in the water! He even started swimming on his own halfway through ♪ We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves too!
