I came to Okinawa for the first time with my wife. We joined a tour because we wanted to visit the Churaumi Aquarium. I thought we would like to explore various places. However, when we actually participated, there were many Chinese and Korean tourists, which made me a bit worried. My wife, who dislikes Chinese people, felt anxious, but they arrived on time for the meeting and were quiet during the tour, showing better manners than the Japanese!

Even though there were many Chinese tourists, the tour was conducted in Japanese. Due to the typhoon, we couldn't go to the Busena Marine Observatory and instead went to Fruit Land, but there wasn't enough time, and it wasn't very interesting.

American Village was fun for shopping. It seemed like we enjoyed ourselves at the outlet. You can have a good time at the Churaumi Aquarium in about three hours. I think participating in the Jumbo Tour isn't a bad idea. They are considerate in various ways. Being Japanese, I feel this even more. In fact, I think it's quite good.

アメリカンビレッジは買い物が楽しかったです。
アウトレットで楽しんでるようでした。
美ら海水族館は3時間あれば十分楽しめます。
ジャンボツアーの参加は悪くないと思います。
いろいろ配慮してくれます。
日本人だから余計に感じます。
むしろいいと思います。

I participated in this tour thinking it would allow me to efficiently explore Ishigaki Island for the first time. Although there was no tour guide, there were staff members at each destination, so I didn't get lost.

There were parts that felt a bit like a conveyor belt (it might not be suitable for those who want to savor one place thoroughly), but I think it allows you to cover a limited amount of time very efficiently. During the bus rides and on the water buffalo cart, there were explanations about the island and the buffalo, which were very easy to understand.

It suddenly rained heavily in the mangroves, but that became a good memory. On Yubu Island, we had lunch in the botanical garden and had about 30 minutes of free time for sightseeing. The lunch might be divisive in terms of taste, but I thought it was not bad, featuring local cuisine (perhaps because I didn't have high expectations after reading reviews).

On Taketomi Island, I chose the water buffalo cart + bus tour. I also rode a water buffalo cart on Yubu Island, but it had a different charm. We toured around the traditional houses on Taketomi Island for about 15 minutes while receiving explanations about the shisa and the architecture.

I learned a bit about each island, so when I come back to Ishigaki Island, I feel like I’ll be able to plan my own trips to the surrounding islands. My middle school and elementary school children seemed to enjoy the water buffalo cart the most!

初めての石垣島で、効率良く島巡りができるかと思い参加しました。添乗員はいませんが、船、バス、水牛車等、行く先々にスタッフがいるので迷うことはありません。
流れ作業のように感じる部分はありましたが(1箇所をじっくり堪能したい人には向かないかも)、限られた時間をとても効率良く回れると思います。バス移動時や、水牛車では、島の説明や牛の説明等があり、とても分かりやすかったです。
マングローブでは突然大雨になりましたがそれも良い思い出。
由布島では植物園内でお弁当を食べ、残りの時間30分程度の自由観光がありました。お弁当は好き嫌いが別れると思いますが、郷土料理的なおかずで、悪くはないと思います(口コミを見て余り期待していなかったからかもしれませんが)。
竹富島では水牛車+バス観光を選びました。由布島でも水牛車にのりましたが、また違った良さがあります。竹富島の民家の中をシーサーの説明や家の作り等説明をしてもらいながら15分程度回りました。
各島々のことが少し分かったので、また石垣島に来た時には自分達で離島へのプランニングができそうです。
中学生と小学生の子供たちは、何より水牛車が楽しかったようです！

The final hour at the candy castle felt a bit too long for me. I wasn't interested in souvenirs, so I found myself with some extra time. Overall, I was very satisfied with how efficiently I was able to enjoy Okinawa without renting a car.

I believe the main highlight, the Ocean Expo Park (Churaumi Aquarium), is a place that will leave lasting memories. However, since the park is quite large, if you want to include lunch time (3 hours of park stay), you might run out of time. It would be even better if there were options to distribute bento boxes during the bus travel time so that lunch can be accommodated. Additionally, the Busena Marine Observatory and American Village were more wonderful than I had imagined, so I think they are definitely worth visiting at least once.

メインの海洋博公園（美ら海水族館）はとても思い出に残る場所だと思いますが、敷地がとても広いため公園滞在時間（3時間）内にランチ時間も確保すると時間が足りなくなってしまうので、バスでの移動時間内にランチが取れる様にお弁当を配布するなどのオプションがあると尚良いと思います。
またブセナ海中展望塔とアメリカンビレッジは想像していた以上に素敵でしたので、是非一度は巡ってみる価値のある名所だと思いました。
