I made a reservation because I wanted to see the coconut crab. It was a last-minute booking, but they called to confirm on the day, so I was able to participate without any worries. In the end, I was extremely satisfied!! I enjoyed it even in winter! (Although we couldn't see the starry sky, I was still very, very, very satisfied with the jungle tour alone.) We encountered many creatures and plants, and the time spent searching for them was incredibly enjoyable.
On the day of the tour, they provided us with rubber boots and flashlights, so as long as you wear clothes that you don't mind getting a little dirty, you can participate hands-free. (We didn't get dirty at all.) The guide took photos and videos of the creatures he found and of the participants, so you don't even need to bring your phone!
Since it was winter, my husband and I were the only participants. Our guide, Shinpei, kept the conversation fun throughout, making it an experience that flew by without any boredom. I was moved by the coconut crabs and the large群 of bats, as well as the many rare plants and various insects. There were things I thought I should have taken pictures of, but Shinpei took all of them and sent them to us later.
At one point, when we were having trouble finding the coconut crab, he said he would go look for it and went off far to search, and as a result, we were able to encounter the coconut crab we were looking for. Thank you, Shinpei. I felt his consideration to want us to enjoy and see what we wanted to see. I highly recommend this tour.

ギリギリの予約でしたが、当日に確認の電話もくださり、不安なく参加できました。
結果としては大満足！！冬でも楽しめました！（星空は見えなかったのですが、ジャングルツアーだけでも大大大満足です）
多くの生き物、植物に出会えますし、出会うまでの探す間が、なんとも言えない楽しい時間でした。
当日は長靴、ペンライトを貸してくださったので、服装さえ多少の汚れなど気にならないものにしていれば、手ぶらで参加できます。（私たちは全く汚れることもなかったです。）
お兄さんが見つけた生き物や、参加者の写真や動画を撮ってくれるので、携帯もなくてもいいくらいです！
今回は冬の期間ということで参加者は私たち夫婦だけでした。ガイドのしんぺーさんが、終始楽しく会話しながら案内してくれたので、飽きることなくあっという間の体験となりました。
やしがに、コウモリの大群に感動。そのほか珍しい植物の数々。様々な虫。
あーあれ写真撮ればよかったな、と思ったものも、しんぺーさんが全部撮っていてくれてて、あとで全て送ってくださいました。
途中なかなか見つからないやしがにを探しに、ちょっと行ってきますと、遠くまで探しに行ってくれて、結果として目的のやしがにに出会えました。しんぺーさんありがとうございました。
楽しませてあげたい、見たいものを見せてあげたい、という心づかいを感じました。
おすすめのツアーです。
自然なものなので見つかるかはわからないけど、探すだけでも探検感があり楽しいですよ。私はくもとかが苦手なので、そこだけ怖かったです。笑

I participated in a tour of Saijo-ji and the Gangala Valley. The weather was great, and I enjoyed walking through the magnificent nature of Okinawa. I was able to fully enjoy a mystical and fantastical world! I'm also interested in Okinawa World, so I would like to visit next time.

This January in Okinawa was very cold and windy, and I was worried when the ferry to Iriomote Island was canceled, but I was able to go on this tour. Since it was a two-island tour, I returned to the hotel in the afternoon without getting too tired, which was great. On Taketomi Island, I could explore at my own pace the next day without using a tour.
I recommend the tours from Veltra because they are cheaper than booking on-site. The lunch time was at 10:30 AM, but since we gathered early in the morning, I was able to eat. Those on the three-island tour must have been hungry (there are no shops on Taketomi Island), and the bento was cold, the tempura was hard, and I wished for something delicious as a main dish.
I had a good experience.

I joined the local tour to visit a cafe that can only be accessed through it. The impressive banyan tree was very soothing. The local stories shared by the bus guide and their wonderful singing were also great.

I participated in a tour from Ishigaki to Iriomote, and then to Taketomi Island (glass boat + water buffalo).
Indeed, it might be difficult to visit all these islands at once without joining a tour.
Going from Ishigaki to Iriomote was good, and Yubu Island was nice.
However, Taketomi Island was not good. I was just made to wait, and I didn't even know what time the ferry was leaving. After arriving at Taketomi Island, I had to wait to board the glass boat. After getting off the glass boat, I had to wait again for the bus to the water buffalo experience. I wanted to return early on the last bus. After the experience, I had to wait about 50 minutes for the free shuttle bus to the ferry. It was a very wasteful use of time. I thought joining the tour would prevent such issues.

This was my first time visiting a remote island and my first time in Iriomote, so I booked a tour. I had some anxiety because the ferry to Uehara Port had been canceled until the day before, but I received a thorough explanation the day before, which made me feel at ease to participate. Unfortunately, due to the weather, we couldn't visit Barasu Island, but as a result, we were able to explore two locations at a leisurely pace.
The capybara named Rui on Yubu Island was very calm and cute, and the awamori gelato enjoyed while looking at the sea was delicious.
We also paddled for a full hour on the mangrove canoe, which was both fun and provided a good sense of fatigue. The tour guide kept the atmosphere lively with just the right amount of enthusiasm and distance, and they took a lot of photos, so I was very satisfied!

I had explored various places in Ishigaki Island and was looking for something to experience on the last day!
The guide shared information about Ishigaki Island's ecosystem while driving the bus, and even pointed out an owl along the way, making the bus ride both educational and very enjoyable.
After getting off the bus, we went for a walk in complete darkness. It was more exciting than I had expected, and I felt like an explorer.
While it was difficult to find larger creatures, the guide bravely ventured onto rocks and into the trees where we couldn't go. Thanks to that, we were able to see two coconut crabs, a snake, and a bat! Although it was cloudy, the lack of streetlights made the stars feel closer and more sparkling than usual.
In the end, I misplaced something and was quite troubled, but they responded very kindly. I apologize for the inconvenience, and I truly appreciate it.
I felt the hospitality of wanting us to return from our Ishigaki trip with wonderful memories, and I was really glad to have come here in the end! Thank you very much!!

曇ってはいましたが、街灯がないので星もいつもより近くキラキラに感じました。
最後に落し物をしてしまい困っていましたが、とても親切に対応してくださいました。

Since it was an activity on a rainy winter day, I was worried about whether it would take place, but in the end, I had a very enjoyable and valuable experience!!!
On the day of the tour, we couldn't see any stars, and we ended up having a longer jungle night tour.
After being shaken around in the car for a while, we arrived in a forest that was deeper than we had imagined. Since it was a night tour, it was completely dark around us. We could explore with just one flashlight. The footing was a bit unstable due to the rain, but they provided us with rubber boots, which worked well and allowed us to safely explore the jungle.
Due to the winter weather, we encountered fewer creatures than expected. However, we were able to see the wild coconut crab that we wanted to see. The guide told us, "It's edible and tastes like a mix between shrimp and crab, and it's very delicious. However, it's only available during a limited capture period, so you can't eat it right now," which made me want to try it. We also learned a lot about the insects and plants that inhabit the jungle, as well as the culture of Ishigaki Island. I felt that hearing these local stories was one of the highlights of the tour.
The day after the experience, when I casually went to the market, I miraculously found the coconut crab we encountered yesterday for sale!! Remembering what the guide said, we decided to try it. In the end, it was definitely the right choice!!! As the guide mentioned, it was very delicious. The miso, in particular, was tasty.
If I hadn't participated in the tour, I don't think I would have eaten the coconut crab, which looks a bit scary.
I think the experience of navigating through the pitch-black jungle with just one flashlight is rare. If you're hesitating, I definitely recommend participating at least once!!
Next, I hear summer is a good time to see stars, so I would like to visit again during that season.
冬の大雨の日のアクティビティだったので、開催されるのかも心配でしたが、結果的にとても楽しく貴重な体験ができました！！！
当日は、星は全く見えず、ジャングルナイトツアーを長めにしていただきました。
車に揺られて、しばらく経つと、私達の想像以上に深い森の中に到着。ナイトツアーなのであたりは真っ暗闇。懐中電灯一本で探検する事ができます。雨の中だったので足場が不安でしたが、長靴を用意して下さり、その長靴が良い仕事をして安全にジャングルを探検する事ができました。
冬で天候も悪かったので思った以上に遭遇する生物は少なめでした。しかし、見たかった野生のヤシガニに遭遇する事ができました。ガイドさんが「食べる事が出来て、エビとカニの間みたいな味でとても美味しい。しかし、捕獲時期が限定されているから今は食べられない」と教えて下さって食べてみたくなりました。他にも、ジャングルに生息する昆虫や植物のこと、石垣島の文化等、知識が豊富で興味津々に話をたくさん聞く事が出来ました。こう言った、地元の方ならではのお話が聞ける事がツアーの醍醐味だなと感じました。
体験した翌日、フラッと市場に行くと奇跡的に昨日遭遇したヤシガニが売られていました！！ガイドさんの言った言葉を思い出し、私達は食べることにしました。結果、食べて正解！！！教えてくださったとおり、とても美味しかったです。特に味噌がおいしかったです。
もし、ツアーに参加していなかったら見た目がちょっと怖いヤシガニさんを食べることはなかったと思います。
ジャングルの真っ暗闇を懐中電灯一本でかき分ける体験は滅多に出来ないと思います。迷っていたら、ぜひ、一度参加してみてほしいです！！
次は、夏が良く星が見えるみたいなのでその時期また訪れたいと思います。

The experience was really good considering the hassle of renting a car alone.

Also, we were told to meet at a certain spot, but even after four of us searched for ten minutes, we couldn't find it.

There were participants from different countries besides Japanese people, and they prepared a very easy-to-understand audio guide, which deepened my understanding of Okinawa. The audio guide was available in multiple languages, so I think everyone can enjoy it regardless of nationality. The bus was comfortable to sit in, and the windows were kept clean, allowing me to take beautiful photos of the scenery from the window. Each person received a bottle of water when boarding, which was very helpful. At the Churaumi Aquarium, we had about three hours to explore, so I enjoyed it to the fullest! If I have the opportunity to come to Okinawa again, I would definitely like to participate once more!

From Kencho-mae, we were able to efficiently visit Manzamo, Pineapple Park, Okashi Goten, Kouri Ohashi, and Churaumi Aquarium by sightseeing bus. The time spent at each location seemed just right. I think it would be nice to have a course that includes lunch as well. Additionally, I felt that having more explanations from the guide would have been beneficial.

I had a great time!
I visited my first choice, the aquarium, and stopped by a pharmacy to shop along the way. I also enjoyed delicious sea grapes for lunch.
Since I still had some time, I visited other tourist spots as well. The taxi was equipped with reclining seats, so I was able to comfortably rest during the ride.
I spent a very enjoyable 7 hours until I reached the airport.

Traveling by water buffalo cart was relaxing, and we were very satisfied with the extraordinary atmosphere! The island exploration took about an hour, including lunchtime, so we couldn't see everything, but that was fine.
3. Taketomi Island
Be careful with the glass-bottom boat; if you get too absorbed, you might feel a bit nauseous! You can see the fish clearly. The walking distance on the island was a bit tough for my parents.

The half-day tour of Sefa Utaki and Gangala Valley involves quite a bit of walking. The bus seats felt narrower compared to the previous day's tour, which had much more spacious and comfortable seating. Perhaps due to the half-day nature of the tour, it felt a bit rushed, and there was too little time in Gangala Valley, so I couldn't enjoy a leisurely coffee before starting the exploration, which was disappointing.
However, it’s a recommended tour as you can feel the nature and receive healing and power from it. After the tour, I planned to go to American Village, and when I consulted with the driver and guide, they were very kind and offered great advice. Thanks to them, I was able to safely reach American Village via the limousine bus from the airport. Although it wasn't our last day, they also provide transportation to the airport, so I recommend it for the final day as well.
斎場御獄とガンガラー谷の半日ツアーですが結構歩きます。バスのシート幅も前日の別のツアーのシートがかなりゆったりと広く快適だった事もあって狭めに感じました。半日ツアーのせいか忙しなくてガンガラーの谷での時間が少な過ぎてガンガラーの谷の探索出発前にゆっくりコーヒーも飲めなかったのが残念。
自然を感じられて癒しとパワーもいただけるのでオススメのツアーです。
ツアー終わった後にアメリカンビレッジに行く予定だったので運転手さんとガイドさんに相談したらとっても親切にアドバイスくれて有難うございました。空港からのリムジンバスで無事アメリカンビレッジに行く事が出来ました。私達は最終日ではなかったのですが、空港にも送って下さるので最終日にもオススメ。

We are moving quickly down a pitch-black road.
The place we arrived at was also dark, a jungle.
At first, I was a bit anxious, but the staff's guidance and explanations were thorough, and I participated with excitement.
The starry sky was beautiful, and the sound of the waves at night along with the night jungle was mystical. I'm really glad we participated because it's a place we would never have been able to go on our own.

I participated with the hope of maybe seeing a coconut crab, and I was blessed with wonderful weather, allowing me to see a starry sky like I’ve never seen in my life. The beauty of the stars was breathtaking, and I was left in awe.
I was told that the chance of seeing a coconut crab in December is about 20%, but thanks to the guide's diligent search, we were able to find one. Each of us even got to take pictures, which became a lovely memory.
We took a bus from the remote island terminal, and during the ride, the guide shared interesting stories about Ishigaki Island and its wildlife, ensuring that the participants were engaged and entertained, which made me feel the hospitality.
While seeing the starry sky and coconut crabs may depend on luck, considering the guide's support and hospitality, I think the experience is incredibly affordable. I highly recommend it to anyone who is considering participating, and I feel eager to visit Ishigaki Island again and join this experience once more.
ヤシガニに会えたら嬉しいなぁぐらいの気持ちで参加しましたが、天候にも恵まれ、満点の星空を見ることができました。星空は今までの人生で見たことがないほどの美しさで、感動詞っぱなしでした。

離島ターミナルからバスで向かいましたが、現地に到着するまでの間も石垣島のことや生物のことなど、参加者を飽きさせないようにお話してくださり、ホスピタリティを感じました。
星空やヤシガニは運の要素も強いようですが、ガイドさんのサポート、ホスピタリティを考えると安すぎると思います。参加を迷われている方にはぜひともおすすめしたいですし、また石垣島に行ってリピート参加したい気持ちです。

What surprised me was that 90 percent of the passengers were from the neighboring great country. They looked just like us, so I didn't realize until I heard their language (laughs). However, the explanations were provided through a smartphone app, so it wasn't too bothersome. In fact, unlike domestic tour buses, it was quiet, with most people sleeping and no conversations. It was a windy day, so even with a down jacket, it was tough in a leather jacket—Manza Beach is formidable.
It had been several years since I last visited the Tropical Dream Center, but there were more facilities, and it was very impressive. The viewpoint I skipped last time became my favorite this time. The wind was strong, but I definitely recommend it. Although it was a bit of a long bus tour, the staff (all from overseas) were very kind and helpful, and I am grateful. I also appreciate them coming to pick us up when we misunderstood and were a bit late.

My child loves animals, so I was looking for opportunities to interact with them and ended up here. I thought it might be difficult to see the stars due to the unstable weather, but when I participated, I was able to see a sky full of stars, a coconut crab, and even a rare firefly for this time of year. Nago Pineapple Park is a place that's not easy to visit individually. The self-driving carts were fun, the dinosaur exhibits were impressive, and the freshly made cornet was delicious.
At the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, if you're using a rental car, you need to wait in a long line for parking, but it was nice to be able to enter smoothly using the bus-only parking lot. I also enjoyed the dolphin show without any issues.
I visited Manzamo for the first time since the guidance facility was built, and it was great to have a place to rest after seeing the sights. I would like to participate in other courses if I have the opportunity again.
なかなか個人では行きづらい名護パイナップルパーク。
自動運転のカートも楽しく、恐竜の展示も見応えがあり、作りたてのコロネも美味しくてよかったです。
美ら海水族館もレンタカーだと駐車場の長い行列に並ぶ必要がありますが、観光バス専用の駐車場でスムーズに入れてよかったです。イルカショーも無事、楽しめました。
万座毛もガイダンス施設が出来てから初めて行きましたが、見た後休憩できる場所ができていてよかったです。
また機会があれば他のコースにも参加したいと思います。

It was a day with high waves that caused the morning flight to be canceled, and the ride there felt especially like a thrilling amusement park attraction, with plenty of splashes. We patiently waited for the whale to come up to the surface, and when we finally saw its back and tail, I was completely thrilled. It was wonderful.

Unfortunately, it was cloudy all day, but I was able to enjoy a fun tour around Taketomi Island, Yufu Island, and Iriomote Island. It was great that I could fully enjoy the sights on Taketomi Island by renting a bicycle. However, I was a bit disappointed that I didn't receive any communication about the change in the order of the island visits until the morning of the tour, before the meeting time.
あいにくと一日中、曇天でしたが、竹富島、由布島、西表島と楽しく周遊できました。
竹富島もレンタサイクルで、見どころをしっかり楽しむことができて良かったです。
