Although the weather was unfortunate, the water was very clear, and I was able to see sea turtles and clownfish! Additionally, at the Pumpkin Cave, I had a mystical experience unique to Miyako Island! The guide was friendly and lively, which made for a wonderful experience!

I participated in the sea turtle snorkeling, SUP, and Pumpkin Cave course.
In February, the sea was cold, but I was able to see sea turtles.
The Pumpkin Cave, in particular, was fantastic and had a sense of adventure. We canoed to the cave entrance, explored inside the cave, and finally jumped into the sea, creating wonderful memories with experiences that are usually not possible.
One downside was that there was quite a gap between each activity. I had thought I would be able to continue without long breaks, so I didn't do enough research.
I would like to participate again in the summer.
ウミガメシュノーケリング、サップ、パンプキン鍾乳洞のコースに参加しました。
２月ということで海は寒かったですが、ウミガメも見ることができました。
特にパンプキン鍾乳洞は冒険感があって素晴らしかったです。
カヌーで洞窟入口まで行き、そこから洞窟内の探検、最後はジャンプで海に飛び込む、普段できない体験ができていい思い出ができました。
一つ残念だったのは、各アクティビティの間の時間がかなりあいてしまったこと。

I was the only one who didn't make it in the initial SAP, but I truly enjoyed every moment from start to finish and I'm filled with the desire to do it again. It was a wonderful experience. I felt an excitement as if I had become the protagonist of an adventure novel. Our guide, Matsushita, explained things clearly about driftwood, living creatures, and the history of Yufu Island and Iriomote Island. He was incredibly knowledgeable about Iriomote Island and very cool, which left me in awe. The guide spoke with such enthusiasm that it made me feel joyful too, reminiscent of a certain adventurous professor from my university days who always brightened up the room. I felt a mix of nostalgia and a desire to catch up quickly. I am honored to have participated in such an amazing tour. Thank you very much.

On the way to the limestone cave by canoe, I was able to see Ryukyu coral limestone and the strange shapes of the cliffs. Inside the cave, I felt the greatness of nature with the sparkling stalactites and the flowing water! I was very satisfied!!
As for snorkeling, as soon as I entered the sea, there were so many fish swimming around like in an aquarium, which was incredibly moving! The water clarity was great, and I even got to see a sea turtle! Our guide, Yuuri, taught us a lot about the islands and nature, and he also took care of my well-being, allowing me to participate with peace of mind. Thank you very much! ♪

The experience starts at calm waters on the SUP. There's very little wind nor waves so it's perfect for beginners. After a 2 hr break for lunch, you meet back for snorkeling. I've been to a few snorkeling spots around Asia and this is easily number 1 with how clear and beautiful the water is and with just how many fish you get to see. We even saw a sea turtle eat off the ground! I was genuinely happy. After that, the pumpkin cave was also amazing. There's a bit difficult canoe out to the cave but it's very worth the trip. The history as well as amazing structures within the cave is astonishing. The guide Yuuri made this whole day all the better with great explanations and great personality that brightened an already bright Miyako day. Oh and he spoke great English.

I participated in a tour for SUP, snorkeling, and cave exploration in Miyako Island, and it was the best experience! I was a bit anxious about canoeing for the first time, but thanks to the friendly staff, I had a great time. The weather was perfect, and the sunrise was breathtaking! It was the best memory. During the tour, we had many conversations, and I was able to enjoy a very fun time. They took a lot of photos, and I was very satisfied. It has become a place I definitely want to visit again. I thought the sea in Miyako during New Year's would be cold, but wearing a wetsuit made it totally fine! 👍 The beautiful sea while stand-up paddleboarding is so soothing, and I was surprised that the inside of the Pumpkin Cave, a power spot, was warm. I received some sacred energy there. Thanks to the kind assistance of the guides, my daughter, who usually dislikes the sea, was very satisfied. Thank you so much!

I was able to stand up on the SUP for the first time on my third try! 3回目SUPではじめて立てました！

I was worried about whether the event would be held due to the rain and wind the day before.
On the day of the event, it was cloudy and sunny, and although there was some wind, it was successfully held.
Since I participated in January, my outfit was:
Top: Long T-shirt, nylon parka
Bottom: Shorts (← this was a mistake)
My friend wore leggings under her shorts.
Your feet will get wet when you get on the SUP. Your bottom will also get wet when you sit down on the SUP. The splashes from paddling will wet your sleeves as well.
When heading back, it's better to have a change of pants to avoid getting cold. However, there are no changing rooms, so you'll have to use public restrooms.
I had fallen off the SUP during my previous two experiences, but thanks to the instructor, Tecchan, who provided step-by-step guidance, I was able to stand smoothly! I enjoyed SUP for the first time!
In the second half, we took a lot of photos, and I was able to create beautiful memories, for which I am grateful!

SUPに座り込む時にお尻も濡れます。
オールを漕ぐ飛沫で、袖も濡れます。
帰りの際には
着替えのパンツがあった方が冷えません。
但し、更衣室はありませんので公衆トイレになります。
過去2回SUP体験でドボンしている私でしたが、インストラクターのてっちゃんが順序立てて指導してくれたのでスムーズに立つことが出来！初めてSUPを楽しめました！
後半は写真撮影もたくさんしてくれ、
きれいな思い出を残すことが出来、感謝しています！

It was my first sea kayaking experience in about two years of snorkeling. Although I had some snorkeling experience, it was my first time participating in a tour, and I had both expectations and anxieties, but I was able to have a very enjoyable and wonderful experience.
During snorkeling, there were moments when it was quite cold due to the winter sea, but I was able to see the unique beauty and clarity of the winter ocean. Additionally, I encountered a clownfish and a sea turtle for the first time. I was able to take individual two-shot photos with both the clownfish and the sea turtle, which became very precious commemorative photos.
In the sea kayaking and Pumpkin Cave experience, we first received a lecture on how to ride and paddle the kayak, allowing us to venture into the sea without worry. The highlight of this tour was the Pumpkin Cave, where I had a truly wonderful experience.
Seeing the cave formations that have been formed over tens of thousands of years from the inside allowed me to feel the greatness and mystery of nature. The instructor's thorough explanations and commentary were very easy to understand, deepening my understanding of the cave.
Seeing it in person and listening to the explanations made me really glad I participated, much more than just seeing it in photos. Thank you for a truly wonderful tour!
約2年ぶりのシュノーケリングで人生初のシーカヤック体験でした。
シュノーケリングの経験はあったものの、ツアー参加は初めてで期待と不安がありましたが、とても楽しい素晴らしい体験をすることが出来ました。
シュノーケリングでは、冬の海ということもあり、とても寒い場面もありましたが、冬の海ならではの海の綺麗さや、美しさを見ることが出来ました。
また、初めてカクレクマノミとウミガメと実際に出会うことが出来ました。
クマノミ、ウミガメ、どちらも個別でツーショット写真を撮影してもらえ、とても大切な記念写真となりました。
シーカヤック、パンプキン鍾乳洞体験では
まずシーカヤックの乗り方や漕ぎ方のレクチャーをしてもらい心配なく海に繰り出すことが出来ました。
そしてこのツアーの醍醐味であるパンプキン鍾乳洞ですがこれは本当に素晴らしい体験をすることが出来ました。
何万年と時を刻んでいる鍾乳洞の姿を内側から見ることが出来自然の凄さや神秘を肌で感じることが出来ます。
また、インストラクターさんによる丁寧説明や解説がとても分かりやすく、より鍾乳洞の理解を深めることが出来ます。
写真で見ているより、実際目の前で見て解説を聞いて本当に参加してよかったと思えました。
とても素晴らしいツアー、ありがとうございました。

I participated in a sea turtle snorkeling activity in Miyako Island in January. Since it was January, I thought it might be a bit cold, and unfortunately, the weather was colder than expected. (The next day was sunny and warm, so the January sea depends on the weather.) However, unlike the summer in Miyako Island, the water clarity was amazing; it was quite transparent, allowing us to see far and clearly spot the sea turtles.
Additionally, I also experienced stand-up paddleboarding, canoeing, and the Pumpkin Cave, which I highly recommend. Our guide, Tecchan, provided clear explanations and was very kind to us, even though we were late. Thank you very much.
１月の宮古島でウミガメシュノーケルに参加しました。１月ってこともあって、少し寒いかな？って思っていましたが、あいにくの天気で予想よりも寒かったです。(翌日は晴れて暖かったので、１月の海は天気次第)でも、夏の宮古島と違うのは水の透明度だそうで、かなり透き通っていて、遠くまで見通せたし、ウミガメもよく見えました。
他にも、サップやカヌー、パンプキン鍾乳洞も体験しましたが、パンプキン鍾乳洞もかなりオススメ。
ガイドのてっちゃんの説明は分かりやすく、遅刻してしまった私達にも優しく対応してくれました。ありがとうございました。

SUP, sea turtle snorkeling, and the pumpkin cave were more than I expected.
I participated in early January, but it felt like October or November in Honshu. I was thrilled to be able to join such wonderful activities in the winter sea of Japan.
Above all, I was captivated by the clarity of the waters around Miyako Island and the mystery of the cave. Our guide (Tetchan) provided concise explanations and advice, and his behavior was very much like a natural tour guide. He took many beautiful photos for us.

1月上旬の参加でしたが、本州の10月11月ぐらいの体感で 冬に日本の海でこんな素敵なアクティビティに参加できて感激
何より宮古島の海の透明度と、鍾乳洞の神秘さに魅了されました。ガイドさん(てっちゃん)が無駄のない説明とアドバイス、自然ツアーガイドらしい振る舞いもよかったです。素敵な写真をいっぱい撮ってもらいました。

This time, I came to Miyako Island for the first time because I wanted to see sea turtles. I found a tour that included snorkeling, sea kayaking, and a visit to the Pumpkin Cave, and I signed up for it. I was worried about whether I could meet sea turtles in the winter sea, but I was so happy that I could enter the water wearing a wetsuit and finally see the sea turtles I had longed to meet💕 The tour guide, Tecchan, took wonderful photos, and I made many memories from the trip😊
The day I participated in the tour, it was cloudy, but the underwater visibility was very clear, and I was able to see the sea turtles up close while snorkeling🐢 The Pumpkin Cave was also very good. I enjoyed the thrilling journey to the cave by sea kayak. Inside, it was a mystical and sacred place that we could never have reached on our own, so it was a precious experience‼️ Tecchan, the tour guide, took many photos and videos and explained the history of the place and the marine life in an easy-to-understand way, which was great. 今回、ウミガメに会いたくて宮古島に初めて来ました。ウミガメに会えるツアーを探していて、シュノーケリングと、シーカヤック、そしてパンプキン鍾乳洞に行けるこのツアーを見つけて申し込みました。真冬の海に入ってウミガメに会うことなんて出来るのか心配でしたが、ボディースーツを着れば海に入ることが出来て、念願だったウミガメにも会うことが出来てとても嬉しかったです💕ツアーガイドのてっちゃんが素敵な写真を撮影してくれて旅の思い出がたくさん出来ました😊
ツアーに参加した日は、曇り空でしたが海の中はとても綺麗に海の中が見え、シュノーケルの時にウミガメを間近で見ることが出来ました🐢
パンプキン鍾乳洞もとても良かったです。シーカヤックで鍾乳洞に向かうまでドキドキハラハラ楽しみながら行きました。中は、神秘的で神聖な場所で自分たちではとても行ける場所ではないので貴重な経験をしてくることが出来ました‼️
ツアーガイドのてっちゃんが、たくさん写真や動画を撮影して下さり、そして分かりやすくその場所の歴史や海の生き物のことを教えて下さりとても良かったです。てっちゃん、どうもありがとうございました😊また、宮古島の遊びに来たいです。

This time, I participated in SUP and the Pumpkin Cave. I did SUP for about an hour and a half in the morning, and it felt really nice. It was my first time, but the wind wasn't too strong, so it was safe.
Kayaking to the entrance of the Pumpkin Cave was fun. Inside the cave, the staff took a lot of photos for us. Since they provide the photo data later, I didn't need to bring a camera or smartphone, which made it easy to enjoy. The scenery was beautiful, and I used a lot of energy, so I want to go again.
今回はSUP＆パンプキン鍾乳洞に参加しました。午前中に1時間半ほどSUPをしてとても気持ちよかったです。初めてでしたが、風も強すぎなかったので安全でした。

Snorkeling was like being in an aquarium from the moment I entered the water! I was able to see many beautiful fish, including sea turtles and clownfish. I had an extraordinary experience snorkeling and getting up close to sea turtles and tropical fish, as well as riding in a canoe. I haven't done much stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) before, so I was a bit anxious at first, but the thorough and friendly instruction and communication, along with the beautiful sea and pleasant climate of Miyako, made it enjoyable and relaxing.
Even in a short amount of time, I was able to improve my skills and had a fulfilling experience. It was an experience that makes me want to visit Miyako Island again!

Sunset Canoe
Although we couldn't see the sunset due to the clouds, the canoe experience itself was enjoyable, and the hour flew by. Spending time leisurely in a private bay was wonderful, and I was deeply impressed by the crystal-clear blue sea. The guidance and explanations from our guide, Kai, were pleasant, making for a great memory.
Night Tour
Starting with the Miyako Hiki Gaeru, we encountered owls, bats, hermit crabs, and even the coconut crab that I was eager to see, making it an exhilarating tour. I was a bit worried that the cold in December would reduce the activity of the creatures, but thanks to our guide, Hayata, we were able to see all the animals we wanted.
