It was my first experience, and I was very nervous, but I was able to relax thanks to the smiling support of our guide, Mr. Ishii. As we paddled through the mangrove forest in the canoe, I was able to feel the dynamism of nature and the diversity of living creatures. The explanations were clear, and it was a very fulfilling and enjoyable time.

I experienced stand-up paddleboarding for the first time. The cheerful and kind instructors explained everything clearly, and even someone like me who hardly exercises was able to stand up relatively quickly. The sea was blue and clear, and I could see many cute fish. I received the photos and drone footage right after the experience, and the visuals were so beautiful that I was moved. Since coming back, I've watched them several times, savoring the memories. Thank you very much!
はじめてクリアサップを体験しました。陽気で優しいお兄さんたちにわかりやすく教えてもらい、運動ほぼしない私でも割とすぐに立つことができました。海も青くて透き通っていて、可愛いお魚もたくさん見えました。写真もドローン映像も体験が終わったあとすぐにデータをもらえ、映像とても綺麗で感動。帰ってきてから何度も見返して思い出を噛み締めてます。ありがとうございました。

At the beginning of December, it was raining quite heavily before we started, but we participated in the canoeing with our 2-year-old child, hoping for a break in the weather. They provided free jackets even in the rain, so we didn't feel cold. Initially, we were told that we might not be able to fly the drone, but as the rain lightened up, we could see fish swimming from the bottom of the transparent canoe, and both adults and children had a great time. The instructor was kind and explained everything clearly, so even our child, who was experiencing the sea for the first time, could play without fear. At the end, we received video and photo data from the drone, and I was amazed by the beautiful footage, which exceeded my expectations. This is an activity I can highly recommend. 12月初め。開始前は雨が結構強めに降っていましたが、晴れ間を期待してカヌーに2歳の子供と3名で参加。雨天でも無料の上着貸出があったため冷えることもなく、最初はドローンも飛ばせないかもと言われていましたが、途中雨が弱まり、スケルトンのカヌーの底から魚が泳いでいるのが見え、大人も子供も楽しむことができました。インストラクターの方に親切に分かりやすく指導して貰えるので、恐怖感もなく海が初めての子供も楽しく遊べていました。最後にドローンの動画や写真データを頂くのですが、想像以上の綺麗な映像に感動しました。おすすめできるアクティビティです。ありがとうございました❣️

On the day of the reservation, it was a cloudy day with strong winds. Since it was my first experience with stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), I felt a bit anxious as I headed to the designated location. However, the staff greeted me with big smiles and reassured me that with this level of wind, we could even fly a drone. I was relieved, as I had initially worried that I wouldn't be able to do SUP at all.
I placed my belongings like towels in a box and stored my valuables in a locked box. I then put on the free rental marine shoes and life jacket. They provided a thorough SUP lesson, and we headed out to the sea.
Even though it was the ocean, Ingyamarine Garden is a natural bay, so I felt safe enjoying marine sports even on a windy day.
Since it was a clear SUP, I could observe fish and coral through the paddleboard, making it enjoyable even for beginners. Above all, the staff were bright, friendly, and attentive.
Moreover, after the SUP session, when we returned to shore, they showed us the edited drone footage and promptly sent us the videos and photos.
I would love to request this shop again for my next trip to Miyako Island! Thank you very much!

初めてのSUP体験なので、不安を感じながら指定の場所へ行くと、スタッフさんたちが満面の笑みで出迎えてくれ、このくらいの風ならドローンも飛ばせますね、と仰ってくれ、そもそもSUP自体できないのでは、と思っていたのでホッとしました。
タオルなどの手荷物はボックスへ、貴重品は鍵つきのボックスへ入れ、無料レンタルのマリンシューズ、ライフジャケットを着用。
早速丁寧にSUPレクチャーをしていただき、海へ。
海といっても、インギャーマリンガーデンは天然の入り江なので、風の強い日でも安心してマリンスポーツが楽しめました。
クリアサップなので、サップ越しに魚や珊瑚も観察できて、初心者でも楽しむことができました。
何より、スタッフの皆さんが明るく親切丁寧。
しかもSUP後、岸に戻ると編集したドローン映像を見せてくれ、動画、写真を直ぐに送ってくれました。
次回の宮古島旅行の際にもこちらのショップへお願いしたいです！

Since Pipi often conducts tours with relatively large groups, I was a bit apprehensive about potential waiting times, and I heard mixed reviews about it. However, to share the outcome, it turned out to be an amazing tour!
Indeed, there were some waiting times (like during equipment collection and waiting for showers), but I considered those small breaks during the tour, which I actually appreciated! Our guide, Shogo, named our group "Shogo Team," which allowed us to enjoy the experience together with the other participants.
The kayaking experience was a bit challenging due to the weather and strong winds, but we were taken to a field where we could fully appreciate Iriomote Island. Since we were going to get wet anyway, the rain didn't bother me at all, and I had a great time!
Iriomote is quite large, so during our car rides, Shogo shared interesting facts about the island, mixing in humor, which made for a very enjoyable time! He also recommended some great places to eat!
The place where we had lunch seemed to have a proprietor who wasn't fond of media or reviews, so I won’t mention the name, but it was truly a delicious local diner. If you go, I highly recommend asking Shogo for directions!
The timing for visiting Yubu Island was just right, allowing us to explore without rushing or feeling like we had too much time on our hands. The cakes, coffee, and ice cream at Yubu Island Tea House were exceptional, so I definitely recommend trying them!
It seems that the timing for riding the water buffalo cart can vary greatly depending on the buffalo, but the one we had was just right—not too fast and not too slow! Listening to the sanshin was a nice touch that felt very Okinawan!
This tour might not be suitable for those who prefer smaller groups, but I was very satisfied! Thank you!
比較的多い人数でツアー催行をするpipiさんなので待ち時間が発生したりと、評判も良い悪い半々くらいなのでどうかなあ〜と思いながらの参加でしたが....結果からお伝えするとすっごくいいツアーでした！
たしかに待ち時間が発生(道具の回収中やシャワーの順番待ち等)しましたが、ツアー中の小休憩と思えばむしろ私にはありがたい時間でした！
ガイドさんのショウゴさんが｢ショウゴチーム｣と名付けてくれたので参加者の方々と一緒に楽しめることが出来ました！
カヤック体験は天候が悪め、風が強めでしたが西表をめいいっぱい感じれるフィールドに連れて行って貰えて、どうせ濡れるので雨は全く気にならず楽しめました！
西表は大きいので車での移動中も西表の豆知識を笑いと織り交ぜながら話してくれるのでとっても楽しい時間でした！
お勧めのご飯屋さんも教えてくれます！
お昼ご飯を食べたところは店主さんがメディアや口コミが好きじゃないみたいなのであえて店名は伏せますが本当に美味しい島の定食屋さんだったので是非行かれる方はショウゴさんに聞いて伺って見てほしいです！
由布島も丁度いい時間設定なので、急いで回ることもなく、時間を持て余すのこともなく由布島を観光できました！
由布島茶屋さんのケーキ、由布島コーヒー、アイスは絶品なので是非食べて欲しいです！
水牛さんによって水牛車の乗車時間が大きくズレる見たいですが今回の水牛さんは早すぎず遅すぎずナイスな水牛さんでした！三線を聞けるのも沖縄らしくて良きでした！
少人数を好む人には向いてないかもしれませんが私は満足でした！

The activities on Iriomote Island were an experience where I could fully feel the energy of nature. Canoeing on the Urauchi River was more challenging than I had imagined, as I struggled against the wind and waves while paddling hard. However, thanks to our guide, Shogo, who provided precise advice, and the shallow waters of the river, I was able to enjoy it with peace of mind.
After two hours of canoeing, we were introduced to a local dining spot near Uehara Port, which was also great. In the afternoon, the sightseeing at Yubu Island was soothing, with beautiful views from the water buffalo and cart, allowing us to fully enjoy the nature of Iriomote Island.
Even during the car rides, the interesting stories about the unique plants, animals, and customs of Iriomote Island made the experience memorable, and I found myself recalling them in various moments throughout our stay. I heard a story about hunting boars using natural traps, and that evening, I enjoyed delicious boar sashimi at an izakaya that you can't find in Tokyo!
My husband and I are already discussing what we should do next time we come. I would like to challenge myself with a longer trekking experience next time. If that happens, I hope to rely on you again, Pipi!

浦内川でのカヌーは想像していたより、風や波と格闘しながら必死に漕ぎましたが、ガイドの勝吾さんの的確なアドバイスや、川も浅いので安心して楽しめました。
2時間カヌー、その後上原港近くではローカルな食事処を紹介いただきそれもよかったです。午後の由布島観光は水牛や牛車からの景色に癒され西表島の自然を満喫しました。
移動の車中も貴重な西表島の動植物や慣習などのお話が面白く、滞在中色んな場面で思い出していました。自然の罠だけで猪狩りをする話を聞き、その晩は居酒屋さんで東京では食べられない猪のタタキを美味しくいただきました！！
次来たら何しようと主人と既に話しています。次回は時間長めのトレッキングなどもチャレンジしたいです。その際はまたpipiさん、よろしくお願いします！！

I have been interested in mangroves for a while, so I decided to participate in this tour. It was just as I expected, and I was able to see the beautiful nature and mangroves. We could explore at a leisurely pace, and I was also able to see a white heron walking, which was very soothing. On the day of the tour, the wind was strong, and we were only able to go by canoe. The tour guide provided thorough explanations, and although there were times when it was a bit challenging due to the strong wind, they supported us when things didn't go smoothly. We participated as a pair, and along the way, we were able to take photos and videos in the mangroves, which created great memories that we often look back on. Additionally, even when participating by canoe, water came in, so my lower body got quite wet. I felt it was necessary to wear clothes that could get wet, like a swimsuit, and to bring a change of clothes.

I arrived at the location without having made many reservations for tours in advance, but I thought, "Since I'm here, I want to try some marine activities!" and decided to book this tour.
During the snorkeling, I naturally interacted with other participants and was able to leisurely enjoy the sea filled with corals and colorful fish. It was my second time snorkeling in my life and my first time in Japan, but thanks to Ryoma's precise explanations and the "photo time," I was able to relax and fully enjoy the experience. And to my surprise, we encountered a sea turtle! The moment when everyone gathered and swam together at the shout of "Turtle!!" from a participant is something I will never forget.
After enjoying the underwater experience, we moved on to stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) for the first time. We started with learning how to paddle, but Ryoma kept the atmosphere lively with humor, and before I knew it, I was able to try standing up and even challenging poses! Spending time on the board while feeling the waves and wind was incredibly relaxing and wonderful.
The experience was so fulfilling that it felt like much more than just a morning activity, and I was able to spend a very meaningful time without any rush.
Even though it was a last-minute reservation, I was able to not just "see" the sea of Miyako Island, but to "feel it with my body," and it truly became the best memory!

「せっかくならマリンアクティビティをしたい！」と思い立って、このツアーを予約しました。
シュノーケリングでは、他の参加者さんとも自然に交流が生まれ、
サンゴやカラフルな魚たちが泳ぐ海をのんびり楽しむことができました。
人生2度目、日本では初めてのシュノーケリングでしたが、

The transfer from snorkeling to SUP is by private car. Since there are no showers available nearby, it's a good idea to have a water bottle, wet wipes, and a larger towel with you.

Today, the ferry from Ishigaki Island to Iriomote Island was canceled due to rough seas caused by high waves, and there were no departures to Uehara Port. The day before, I received a call from the operating company, pipi, informing me of this.
As a result, I purchased a ticket for the 7:30 ferry to Uehara Port and took a substitute bus provided by the ferry company via Ohara Port. This part was a bit complicated. The entire journey took about 1 hour and 30 minutes, and I arrived at Uehara Port at 9:00. The morning was sunny, but it was mostly cloudy with occasional sunshine.
From there, I participated in a two-person canoe activity in the morning, and the water was cold. The instructor, Naoki, who had an afro, guided us calmly through the course, which was quite soothing. We paddled from the river mouth into increasingly narrow mangrove forests. As it was my first time canoeing, my girlfriend and I struggled to synchronize our movements and ended up going in circles.
For lunch, it took about 1.5 hours. Although it was the off-season, there were about five restaurants open. We went to Island Garden Mine. I chose squid ink yakisoba and squid ink fried rice, which were excellent. My blackened teeth looked quite stylish.
On the way from Uehara Port to Yufu Island, I heard Naoki mention that he had once seen an Iriomote wildcat on this road, so I was carefully looking along the roadside. Well, I didn’t see any!!
Finally, the water buffalo cart ride to Yufu Island, with the magnificent nature of Iriomote Island in the background, was a must-see. At first, I thought it might be boring, but the sight of the water buffalo crossing the sea was quite charming and lovely. I actually preferred Yufu Island over the canoeing experience. A one-hour stroll around Yufu Island was just right.
On the way back, I was able to catch the 16:30 ferry to Ishigaki Island.
At 35 years old, I felt a bit fatigued but was very satisfied. Initially, I considered a canoeing and snorkeling tour, but I think this was the better choice.
本日は石垣島から西表島へ渡るフェリーが海上が大波によるしけのため、上原港行きが出航なしとなる。前日この話は運営会社pipiから電話が来ました。
そのため、0730の上原港行きのチケットを購入し、大原港経由でフェリー会社からの代替バスで行きました。ここが少し難解でした。全体で1時間30分程度かかり0900上原港へ到着。朝は晴れていたが基本曇り時々晴れ。
そこから、午前中は2人乗りカヌーのアクティビティへ、水は冷たい。インストラクターはアフロの直くん、落ち着いた語り口調でコースを回り、癒されました。河口からどんどん細いマングローブ林へ。初めてのカヌーは彼女となかなか息が会わず右往左往。
お昼は、1.5hr程度で。シーズンオフですが、お店は五件程度ありました。島ガーデン嶺へ。イカスミヤキソバ、イカスミチャーハンを選んで◎。黒くなった歯は、キマッテル。
上原港から由布島に行く間も、直くんの話で、この道で1度だけイリオモテヤマネコを見たと言う話を聞いて、路肩をくまなく見てました。まぁ、いない！！
最後に由布島は、雄大な西表島の自然をバックに由布島に向けて歩く水牛車は、必見でした。最初は退屈かなと思いましたが、海を渡る水牛はなかなか風情がありステキでした。カヌーより由布島の方が私は好きでした。由布島は、1時間程度散策でちょうどよいです。
帰りは1630の石垣島行きフェリーに乗れました。
35歳ですが少し疲労度もありながら、大満足でした。最初は、カヌー&シュノーケリングツアーも考えましたが、こっちでよかったかな。

Two women participated in the activity. In the morning, we went kayaking as part of a group with three other pairs, but all the other participants were men. Since it was a windy day, we were struggling to keep up and honestly didn't have the leisure to enjoy the scenery. We worked hard because we didn't want to inconvenience the other participants.
I think it's a bit tough for women who aren't confident in their strength on windy days. However, if you're participating as a couple, I don't think it would be a problem.
I thought the staff's response was very good! Also, in the afternoon, we had sightseeing planned, so the schedule was just right and not too tiring!

I was worried about whether the tour would proceed due to the approaching typhoon, but they contacted me the day before to explain the conditions under which it would be canceled and provided important information, which made me feel at ease to participate.
The guide was very attentive and made sure that even beginners like us could enjoy the experience safely. It was impressive how they continuously encouraged us to ensure our safety throughout the tour.
As we paddled along the calm waters, I felt the grandeur of the natural beauty of Iriomote Island, a UNESCO World Heritage site, up close, and I was moved by the breathtaking scenery multiple times.
When we returned from canoeing, there was a large rainbow in the sky, and its beauty filled my heart. Thanks to the power of nature and the warm guidance of our guide, it became a wonderful experience that will stay in my memory.
If I have the opportunity to visit Iriomote Island again, I would love to participate once more.

On Iriomote Island, I participated in a relaxing SUP tour through the mangrove forest and a water buffalo tour. The vast mangrove forest, unlike anything I had seen before, spread out before me, and the width of the river exceeded my imagination. Recently, I participated in this tour on Ishigaki Island. To sum it up, it was far more enjoyable than I expected!
First, we experienced paddling through the mangroves by canoe. The depths of the forest were incredibly quiet, and the air was refreshingly cool, making it a perfect way to rejuvenate. Even as a beginner, the guide patiently taught us how to paddle, so I quickly got the hang of it and felt like I was alone in nature.
After that, we traveled to Yubu Island by the famous water buffalo cart. The gentle sound of the sanshin made the leisurely crossing of the sea feel truly luxurious. Before I knew it, we arrived at the island while listening to the names of the water buffalo and the funny stories from the old man. On Yubu Island, I enjoyed the laid-back island time surrounded by tropical flowers and butterflies.
The only concern I had was that the shower facilities after the tour were a bit old, and I noticed some cleanliness issues. However, considering it was an activity facility in nature, it might be within acceptable limits. Overall, it was a wonderful tour where I could enjoy both activities and relaxation. If you're unsure about what to do while sightseeing in Ishigaki Island, I definitely recommend choosing this!

唯一気になった点としては、ツアー後の施設にあったシャワーが少し古く、清潔感が気になる部分があったことです。ただそれも自然の中のアクティビティ施設だと考えれば許容範囲かもしれません。全体としてはアクティビティと癒やし両方楽しめる素晴らしいツアーです。石垣島観光で迷ったら、ぜひこれを選んでみてください！

It was my first time kayaking, and I started with some anxiety due to the unfortunate weather, but thanks to Ruri-chan's wonderful guidance, I had a very enjoyable time. There was even a moment when we heard the siren for an earthquake warning (which I later found out was just a drill), which added some excitement, but it turned into a great memory! The staff were consistently polite and kind, making me feel safe and secure throughout the experience. One of the highlights was the photo service; the staff took many pictures from various angles during the experience, and the data was shared immediately on the spot. Additionally, I received a dynamic edited video shot with a drone, which allowed me to preserve these precious memories, and I am extremely satisfied.

The snorkeling and mangrove SAP tour on Balas Island was unexpectedly changed to canyoning and a mangrove canoe tour due to bad weather. I didn't know what canyoning was, but I chose it because it seemed more active than the water buffalo tour. In the end, it was a great decision! It was truly an extraordinary experience. Have you ever jumped into a waterfall, gone river rafting, or climbed rocks? We are two timid people, but with the encouragement of our guide and the other participants, we managed to complete it!
I was also amazed that we would paddle through such a vast river during the mangrove canoe tour. I was deeply moved by the grandeur of nature!

I made a reservation the day before, and they kindly accepted me, allowing me to join the tour. The travel time was interesting as I heard many things about Iriomote Island that I had never known before!
During canyoning, I couldn't bring anything except my GoPro camera, but thanks to the many photos and videos they took, I have wonderful memories!
After the tour, they also recommended a nearby lunch spot after dropping us off, so we were able to spend the waiting time for the boat without any issues!

移動時間も、西表島のことについて解説聞いて初めて聞くことばかりだったのでおもしろかったです！
キャニオニングの時は、GoProのカメラ以外は持っていくことがてきないですが、たくさん写真や動画を撮ってくださったおかげで思い出にも残りました！
ツアー終了後も、送迎してくださった後に近くのオススメのランチ場所を教えてくださり、船の待ち時間も問題なく過ごせました！

We had a snorkeling tour experience as a couple! It was my first time in Ishigaki Island, and he was really looking forward to snorkeling there. Although it was a very windy day in late October, we changed our plan for snorkeling, and thanks to the exciting explanations from our guide and the beautiful blue sea, it turned out to be a very satisfying tour. It was an amazing experience with beautiful seas, very enjoyable and exciting. Our guide, Matt, was very kind and kept us laughing. The weather was cloudy, but the guide kindly took us to a place where we could enjoy the Miyako Blue, and he also took many photos for us. Not only the photos, but the drone footage was quite wonderful and became a great memory. He also provided information about a nearby observation deck, making it a meaningful day. I was a bit anxious at first, but I was able to relax and enjoy myself. I want to go again next time! Miyako Island and clear SUP are the best! You can even meet Nemo! Thank you!
