On the way there, the sky was cloudy, but by the time I arrived at the site, the clouds had cleared, and the stars were clearly visible. After watching for a while, my eyes adjusted, and I was able to see a really beautiful starry sky. It was moving. I also enjoyed seeing hermit crabs, coconut crabs, and a habu snake.

行きは曇り空でしたが、サイトに着いた頃には雲がいなくなって星がよく見えました。
しばらく見ていたら目も慣れて来てかなり綺麗な星空を見ることが出来ました。感動しました。
他にもヤドカリやヤシガニ、ハブも見れて楽しかったです。

I was really happy to experience the long-awaited stargazing photo shoot! I was nervous, but the photographer was kind and gave me guidance on which poses would look beautiful, so I was able to take great photos!

The shoot was originally canceled due to bad weather, but I was able to reschedule for the next day, and it turned out beautifully, so I’m really glad!

Before it started, I was allowed to decide whether to cancel or change to the next day by looking at the sky, and there was no cancellation fee—how considerate! Under a sky full of stars in 360 degrees, the brother's explanation of the stars was very easy to understand, and I was really excited!

始まる前に空を見てキャンセルするか、次の日に変更するか決めさせてくれるうえにキャンセル料もいらないなんて、なんて良心的！360度満天の星の下で、お兄さんの星の説明もすごくわかりやすく、すごくテンションあがりました(^O^)

I participated hoping to see the starry sky, but I was glad to see the large coconut crabs moving in the darkness. While traveling, I was able to sit in the passenger seat, so I also got to see crabs and frogs crossing the night road, as well as owls perched on the power lines.

星空を期待して参加させて頂きましたが暗闇で動く大きなヤシガニを見えることが出来てよかったです。移動中は、助手席に座らせてもらっていたので夜道を横断するカニやカエル、電線に止まるフクロウも見ることが出来ました。

The starry sky was incredibly beautiful, and I was able to visit a place I usually can't go to. I was lucky to see the starry sky, plants I've never seen before, coconut crabs, and many other creatures. It was a very enjoyable and precious experience!

星空がすごく綺麗で、普段行けない場所に行けて星空や見たことない植物、ヤシガニや他の生き物もたくさん運良く見ることができてとても楽しく貴重な体験ができました！

Starry Sky & Jungle Tour.
On the day of participation, unfortunately, it was a cloudy sky, so we couldn't see the stars, but the experience of walking along the dark mountain path with just a flashlight was truly a jungle tour. Amid the echoing calls of owls, we encountered large coconut crabs, giant bats, and snakes, and everyone couldn't help but exclaim at the beautiful fireflies glowing in the night sky. With our knowledgeable guide, there was a sense of unity among the tour participants, and we had a very enjoyable time.

星空＆ジャングルツアー。
参加した当日は生憎の曇り空、星空を観ることはできませんでしたが真っ暗な山道を懐中電灯ひとつで進んでいく体験はまさにジャングルツアー。フクロウの鳴き声が響く中、大きなヤシガニや巨大コウモリ、蛇に遭遇、また夜空に光る美しい蛍には皆が声を上げてしまいました。物知りガイドさんの元、ツアー参加者の一体感もありとても楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。

I was informed in advance that it would be difficult to capture stars during the full moon period. On the day itself, there were even more clouds, and the photos didn't turn out as I had imagined, but the combination of clouds, the moon, and silhouettes created a mystical image.

I was glad to get one photo where the stars were visible at the end. They suggested that if the weather was good the next day, I could retake the photos, but unfortunately, I had to give up due to the weather.

I want to try again when I go to Miyako Island! Thank you very much.

満月の時期で星は写りにくいと、事前に連絡していだいていました。当日はさらに雲が多く、想像していたような写真ではありませんでしたが、雲と月とシルエットで幻想的な写真になっていました。
1枚ですが、最後に星が見える写真が撮れてよかったです。
次の日も天気がよければ撮り直しますよと提案してくださいましたが、あいにくの天候で断念しました。
また宮古島に行くときにはリベンジしたいです！

I participated in Teru's tour!
I was very grateful that they worked hard to find coconut crabs, hermit crabs, and owls so that the participants could enjoy themselves.
It was also helpful that they flexibly changed the tour content because it was cloudy and we couldn't see the stars, and we were able to see four coconut crabs, which was what we were hoping for.
They provide detailed explanations about the ecology of living creatures and plants, so I recommend this tour for those visiting the island for the first time.

First time trying canoeing.
I participated with my wife in a two-person canoe.
The distance for canoeing felt shorter than I expected (it might have just felt that way because it was so much fun).
They provided a thorough explanation about the mangroves.
They also took some great photos!
The trekking to the waterfall took about 30 minutes.
There were no particularly steep paths, so we climbed up easily.

For snorkeling, we first went to Barasu Island.
Since we arrived about an hour and a half after low tide, it was mostly underwater, which was disappointing...
We moved to a different spot and encountered beautiful fish and turtles!
We went snorkeling at two locations.

It was a lot of fun.

初めてカヌーに挑戦
嫁と二人乗りで参加しました。
カヌーは思ったより距離が短かった印象
(楽しすぎて一瞬に感じただけかもしれません)
マングローブの説明など丁寧にしてくれました。
写真もいい感じに撮ってくれました！
滝までのトレッキングは30分ほど。
特に険しい道もなくサクサク登れました。

シュノーケルはまずバラス島へ。
干潮時刻から時刻が1時間半ほど過ぎていたので、
ほぼ水の中で残念。。。
違うポイントへ移動しきれいな魚とカメに出会えました！
2箇所でシュノーケリングしました。

楽しかったです。

I was able to experience many representative activities of Iriomote Island in a full day. It may not be suitable for those who lack physical stamina. I was amazed by the scale of the mangroves and the Pinaisara Falls. The explanations from the knowledgeable guide were also very good.

丸一日のアクティビティで、西表島の代表的なものをたくさん体験できました。
体力が無い人には向いていないかもしれません。
マングローブとピナイサーラの滝のスケールに驚かされました。
精通したガイドさんの解説もとても良かったです。

Since it was after spring break, there were only four participants in the tour, and the compact seafood lunch was very filling. The small souvenirs were also great. The weather at Cape Henoko, the northernmost point, was excellent, and the scenery was stunning. At each destination, there were few people since it was before the holiday, allowing us to enjoy everything at a leisurely pace. Thank you to the guide (I forgot the name) for the many explanations.

春休み後なのでツアー参加者も4名とコンパクト海鮮ランチもボリュウム満点、小さなお土産も最高でした。
最北の辺戸岬も天気最高、景色も最高でした。
行く先々も連休前なので人も少なくてゆっくりと楽しめました。
ツアーを案内していただいた（名前忘れました）方、たくさんの説明ありがとうございました。

The weather was wonderful, and the natural planetarium was visible across the night sky! As the moon gradually got smaller, the number of visible stars increased, creating a truly magical atmosphere. During the shoot, I was lucky enough to see shooting stars as well. I left all the poses up to them, but they provided various instructions, which was very helpful! The props were lovely too! I was so moved to receive the data the next day and see how beautiful the photos turned out. It's quite difficult to capture the night sky on my own, so this became a lifelong memory. 天気に恵まれ、天然のプラネタリウムが夜空一面に見えました！月がだんだん小さくなるにつれ、見える星の数が増えていく様子はとても幻想的です。撮影中は、流れ星も見ることが出来てとてもラッキーでした。ポーズは全てお任せでしたが、色々と指示してくれたのでとても助かりました！小道具も素敵ですよ！データを翌日にお送りいただき、こんなに素敵な写真になるんだとただただ感動します。星空の写真は自分で撮ることはなかなか難しいので一生の思い出になりました。ありがとうございました！

We were fortunate to have a clear day amidst the long rain, and we had a great time. The photos from the tour were also sent to us, creating wonderful memories.

The charm of this tour is that you can truly feel the nature and beginnings of Okinawa at the Oishi Forest. It allows you to escape from daily life and find peace of mind. Kuta-kun, the Okinawa rail we saw in the reserve, was really cute. I want to go again.

このツアーの魅力は、大石林山で、沖縄の自然と始まりを肌で感じらる事です。日常から解放され、心の安らぎを得られます。保護区で見られたヤンバルクイナのクータくん、ほんとに可愛かったです。また行きたいです。

I was able to choose various poses for the photos, and we got some great shots. We talked a lot about the starry sky, creating a romantic memory. I want to experience the stargazing guide next time! I'm glad I received the photos the next day as well.

I made a reservation at the last minute, but they treated me with great care! It became a memorable experience as they took photos in a scenery that you can't see in the city! They also explained the constellations in detail, which was a great learning experience! I thought I would like to visit Miyako Island again when the Summer Triangle is visible and do this tour again! ☺️ I wasn't sure what poses to do, but the photographer guided me, which I really appreciated! The moon was bright, and the stars weren't very visible, but there was an explanation of the constellations and a performance of traditional Okinawan music, which created a perfect atmosphere.

My child really wanted to see the coconut crab, so we joined the tour! Our wonderful guide, Mr. Nakamura, provided a fun experience and helped us find many coconut crabs and various other creatures! It was so enjoyable that we made a reservation for the next day and had fun for two consecutive days! I want to join again!

子供がどうしてもヤシガニを見たい！とツアーに参加しました！中村さんという素敵なガイド様が楽しく案内して下さり、ヤシガニや様々な生き物を沢山見つけて下さいました！あまりに楽しく、翌日も予約して、2日連続で楽しみました！また、参加したいです！

We participated as a family of four with our two children, aged 8 and 6. Most of the other participants were also families. The friendly and cheerful character of our guide made it easy for us to join in, and the kids were talking about how much fun they had the next day. We were also provided with flashlights for everyone and insect repellent, which was very helpful. Additionally, the guide's explanations were educational.

It was a lot of fun to explore paths we wouldn't normally go down at night from a different perspective, and we were able to observe coconut crabs, rare insects, and bats. We were also lucky to see a beautifully clear starry sky. We took group photos with our fellow participants, and it was a highly satisfying tour that went by in no time. I highly recommend it!

8歳と6歳の子供2人と共に家族4名で参加。他も家族連れの参加者が殆どでした。ガイドのお姉さんのフレンドリーで明るいキャラクターに、気負いなく参加でき、子供たちも楽しかったーと翌日も話していました。懐中電灯も人数分貸して頂き、虫よけスプレーも貸して頂けて助かりました。また、お姉さんの解説も勉強になりました。
ツアーでなければ夜に行くことの無い道をいつもと違う視点で探索出来、ヤシガニや珍しい虫やコウモリ等も観察できて、とても楽しかったです。また、星空もとてもきれいに観られてラッキーでした。集合写真も参加メンバー単位でとって頂き、とても満足度の高いツアーであっという間の時間でした。お勧めします！

This time, we were not blessed with good weather and couldn't see the starry sky, but we were lucky to encounter many precious creatures such as coconut crabs, owls, and habu snakes. During my stay in Miyako Island, the weather was bad the whole time, and I had given up on seeing the Miyako Blue and the starry sky. However, I received a very kind message, and they changed the date to a day when it wasn't raining.

Although there were many clouds making it difficult to take photos, I made a special request, and they patiently waited for a break in the clouds to capture some wonderful pictures. They maintained social distancing, which made me feel safe during the shoot.

I am grateful for their kindness, as I was able to preserve the beautiful starry sky of Miyako Island as a memory. I definitely want to try again on a day with good weather.

雲が多く撮影が難しい状況でしたが、無理を言ってお願いし、雲の切れ間を待ち素敵な写真を撮影していただきました。

We participated as a family of five.
The tour started with easy-to-understand canoe instructions from our guide.
It was drizzling at the beginning of the tour, but the moist scenery was beautiful.
We were able to fully engage in both canoeing and trekking, and as we got used to it, we wanted to continue even longer.
The guide's explanations about the plants and geography of Iriomote Island made the tour even more interesting.
The afternoon cave exploration surprised the whole family! We ventured down paths without trails, truly an adventure.
Physically, we had no issues and were able to play hard all day.
We want to go again, thank you!

ツアー開始時は雨混じりでしたが、しっとりした景色も綺麗。

午後の鍾乳洞探検は家族全員驚き！道なき道を行く、正に探検。

We gathered at Emerald Coast Golf Links at 10:30 PM. It seemed that there was a long period of cloud cover, and the earlier groups were delayed, so the shooting started around 11 PM. Since it was a full moon, the moon was bright, and unfortunately, we could hardly see any stars. The photographers seemed to have a tough time in the uneven, sloped areas of the golf course, but they took a lot of great photos. The finished pictures were wonderful, and I thought they truly reflected the professionalism of the photographers. This time we focused on the moon, so I would like to plan for a star shoot next time.

当日は22:30にエメラルドコーストゴルフリンクスに集合でした。
雲がかかっている時間が長かったようで前の方、またその前の方の撮影もおしていて23時頃に撮影が始まりました。満月の時期であったため、月が明るくて星は残念ながらほとんど見えませんでした。ゴルフ場の足場の悪い傾斜のある場所などでカメラマンさんも大変そうでしたが、たくさん写真を撮ってくださいました。
できあがった写真は素敵でさすがプロだなと思いました。
今回は月の写真だったので、時期をずらして次回は星の撮影にリベンジしたいです。

Since it was close to a full moon, as I had been informed earlier, we couldn't see a sky full of stars, but I was still glad to have the opportunity to take photos with the stars. I was pleasantly surprised to see more stars in the photos than I had expected.

When we met at the golf course, it was dark, and I felt a bit nervous in the car, but the staff were easy to talk to, which helped me relax.

I was completely captivated by the starry sky and the blue sea of Miyako Island, so I would like to choose a time without moonlight and participate again next time.

ゴルフ場での待ち合わせの際、あたりが暗くて車の中でドキドキしてしまったのですが、お話のしやすいスタッフさんで、緊張せずにすみました。
すっかり宮古島の星空と海の青さに魅了されて取り憑かれてしまったので、次は月明かりのない時期を選んでまた参加したいと思います。

Before the tour started, the sky was overcast with heavy clouds that looked like it might rain, and I was a bit disappointed to hear that stargazing would be unlikely and that we would mainly be searching for creatures instead...

However, many creatures like large frogs, crabs, hermit crabs, and owls welcomed us, making me forget that disappointment!

Among them, we were told that seeing one coconut crab would be lucky, but that day we saw four! It was my first time seeing wild coconut crabs, and they were huge and impressive, which got both the participants and the guide very excited!

While enjoying the search for creatures, we headed out to the sandy beach, and when I looked up... the weather before the tour seemed like a lie as the sky cleared up, revealing a stunning starry sky! Personally, it was the most beautiful starry sky I've ever seen! It truly felt like a miracle after the rain✨ I think we were lucky, but I had more fun than I expected!

The guide was very friendly, and we had such great conversations that I wished we could talk even more!

If you visit Ishigaki Island, I highly recommend joining this tour!

*Please note that while walking through the jungle-like path, there are sharp leaves and branches, so it's necessary to wear long sleeves and long pants to avoid skin injuries!

ツアー開始前は雨が降りそうなどんよりと重たい雲で、星空鑑賞は望めず星物探しがメインになると伝えられ、少々残念な気持ちでした…

しかし、その気持ちを忘れさせてくれるような大きなカエル・カニ・ヤドカリ・フクロウなど他にも沢山の生物がお出迎えしてくれました！

中でも1匹見れたらラッキーと言われるヤシガニがその日はなんと4匹も！野生のヤシガニは初めてでとても大きく迫力があり、参加者そしてガイドの方も一緒に大興奮！笑

生物探しを楽しみながら砂浜に出て、ふと上を見上げると…
ツアー開始前のお天気が嘘のように晴れ渡り、満天の星空が広がっていました！
個人的に1番綺麗な星空でした！
まさに雨上がりの奇跡✨
その時の運もあったと思いますが、予想以上に楽しむ事が出来ました！

ガイドの方も気さくな方で終始話が弾みもっとお話をしていたいくらいでした！

石垣島にお越しになったらツアーに参加することをオススメします！

※道中ジャングルのような中を進む際に葉先が尖ったものや枝が突き出ているところがあるため、肌を怪我しないように長袖、長ズボンの着用がいります！

The tour guides were kind and informative, but the weather was cloudy... It can't be helped, but it's disappointing. I think it would be a good idea to include the option of cancellation as well.

ツアーの方々は親切に教えてもらいましたが、天候は曇り空…仕方ないといえば仕方ないですが。残念ながらがっかりしました。中止の選択も提示の中に入れておくのもアリかと思う。

I participated in mid-March when it was around 25 degrees. It seemed to be a busy day with about a dozen participants.

They provide water shoes, so you’ll be fine. You can wear a wetsuit if you wish. We wore long-sleeved rash guards and participated without a wetsuit. The river water was a bit cold, but it was fun overall, so I recommend going without one. Some participants wore shorts and short sleeves, but they also joined without wetsuits. (I think those who are sensitive to cold should wear one.)

It was my first experience with canyoning, and it was not just about going down the river; there were various attractions that made it thrilling and exciting! Definitely give it a try!

Even with a large group, the guide kept things moving at a good pace, and we had a lot of fun. They also added some acrobatic excitement that got everyone cheering! Our guide, Teru, was truly amazing!

- You might get to see the wild cat of Iriomote.

★Recommended Attire (from a female perspective)★
- I think long sleeves and long pants are best. (Since you’ll be doing various activities, exposed skin could get scratches without you realizing it.)
- Since you’ll be wearing a helmet, it’s better to tie your hair back.
- It’s advisable to apply sunscreen. (The UV rays are five times stronger than on the main island.)
- I think men should also have long-sleeved rash guards.

During the travel to the site, guide Teru shared interesting stories about Iriomote Island's circumstances, plants, and animals, making the trip very enjoyable.

I had so much fun that I will definitely participate again when I come to Iriomote Island! Highly recommended!

25度くらいの3月中旬に参加しました。この日は多かったようで十数名の参加でした。

靴はウォーターシューズを貸してくれますので大丈夫です。ウエットスーツは希望に応じて着ることができます。私達は上下長袖のラッシュガードをつけて、ウエットスーツはなしで参加しました。川の水は少し冷たかったですが、それも含めて楽しかったので、なしがおすすめです。
周りの参加者は半ズボンの水着や半袖の方もいましたが、ウエットスーツはなしで参加されてました。(冷たいのが苦手な方は着たほうが良いとは思います)


キャニオニング初体験だったのですが、ただ川を下るだけでなくて、いろんなアトラクション？があって、スリリングでテンションが上がりました！是非体験してください！

人数が多くても、ガイドの方がテンポよく進めてくれるので、とても楽しめました。歓声があがるようなアクロバティックな盛り上げもしてくれました！ガイドのテルさん本当に最高でした！

・日焼け止めは塗った方が良いです。(紫外線が本島の5倍)
・男性も、上下長袖のラッシュガードがあったほうが良いかとは思います。


現場に到着するまでの移動中も、ガイドのテルさんが西表島の事情や植物、動物の話をしてくださり、とても楽しく過ごせました。

凄く楽しかったので、西表島に来たらまた参加します！おすすめです！
