It was my first time on Miyako Island, and I joined this tour on my last day here. I was amazed by all the marine life and finally saw a sea turtle. The kayaking tour was so fun! As the only Taiwanese tourist, I was paired with my coach. He was very considerate and kind. Even though I couldn’t speak or understand Japanese, he did his best to guide me and provide information about the tour. Highly recommended for anyone interested in this outdoor adventure! By the way, the pumpkin cave was so much fun!

I participated at the beginning of September! The plan included a pumpkin cave, sea turtle snorkeling, and SUP, and it was a day full of satisfaction✨ The sea was beautiful, and the handsome instructor shared many stories about the ocean, corals, and the cave, as well as recommendations for shops, allowing me to really feel the charm of Miyako Island!✨
During snorkeling, I even got to see a sea turtle! Honestly, I thought it would be rare to encounter one, so I was amazed to see one less than 30 minutes after entering the water, haha.
Although we couldn't bring our phones during the tour and couldn't take our own photos, the instructor took many pictures at the best moments, allowing us to capture our memories!
It truly was a day of great satisfaction! Thank you!

海が綺麗だったのはもちろん、インストラクターのイケメンお兄さんが海やサンゴ、鍾乳洞にまつわる色んなお話や、おすすめのお店などをたくさんお話ししてくれて、宮古島の魅力をたくさん感じられた1日でした！✨
シュノーケリングでは、ウミガメにも会えました！
正直ウミガメに会えるのはなかなかないだろうと思っていたので、海に入って30分もせずに会えたことには感動しました笑
ツアー中は携帯を持ち込めないですが、自身で写真を撮ることはできませんが、お兄さんがベストなタイミングで写真をたくさん撮ってくれて、思い出を形に残すこともできました！
本当に大満足の1日になりましたー！

We had a wonderful time with the whole family, including our 8 and 10-year-old children, guided by Hayata!
In the morning, we enjoyed canoeing through the mangroves, where we could paddle while also entering the river to cool off and observe gobies, crabs, and mangrove seeds up close. Even the kids could paddle well, and they enjoyed it just like the adults.
For lunch, we were given recommendations for a place to eat.
In the afternoon, we took a boat a little offshore to a coral island called Barasu Island and snorkeled around the area. We were able to see both fish and coral perfectly! We even spotted a sea turtle while moving on the boat, and the staff kindly stopped the boat for a sea turtle observation time, even going into the water to take videos and share them with us! It was our first time snorkeling, but we all enjoyed it without any worries!
I highly recommend this activity!
ハヤタさんガイドで8才、10才の子供含め家族全員とても楽しく過ごせました！
午前中のマングローブのカヌーでは、マングローブのジャンルの中でカヌーを漕ぎつつ、川にも入り涼を取りながら、ハゼやカニ、マングローブの種などを間近に観ることが出来ました。
子供でもしっかり漕げるし、川にも入れて大人と同様に楽しめます。
お昼はお店を教えて貰いランチ休憩。
午後は、船で少し沖に出てバラス島と言うサンゴが堆積して出来た島とその周辺でシュノーケリング。
魚もサンゴもバッチリ観られました！海ガメも移動中船から観られて、しかもわざわざ船を停めてくれてしばらく海ガメ観察タイムとスタッフさんが海に入り動画を撮ってシェアしてくれました！シュノーケリング初めてでしたが、子供含めて不安無く楽しめました！
とてもおすすめのアクティビティーです！

In the morning, I was a bit anxious about trying SUP for the first time, but thanks to the precise instructions from our guide, Shotaro, I was able to stand on the board, paddle, and enjoy myself.
In the afternoon, canyoning was made even more exciting with the encouragement of the other participants, and diving into the water from dizzying heights became exhilarating.
I also heard many interesting stories about the flora and fauna of Iriomote Island, and I truly felt grateful to have Shotaro as our guide.
I had a great time even participating alone.

After paddling desperately in the beautiful sea, I arrived at the Pumpkin Cave! Once inside, you can have a mystical experience! There are fun adventure elements like climbing over rocks and jumping off them.
By the way, the Pumpkin Cave and SUP are at different locations, and there is quite a bit of time in between. There’s enough time to rest at the hotel to recover from fatigue, so if you have the chance, doing SUP would be fun too!
Nogi-chan's guide was incredibly enjoyable!
綺麗な海のなかで必死にカヤックをこいで行った先には、パンプキン鍾乳洞が！中にはいると神秘的な体験ができます！岩場をよじ登ったり、岩場から飛び降りたりというアドベンチャー要素もあって楽しいですよ～
ちなみに、パンプキン鍾乳洞とSUPは実施場所も違うし、結構時間があきます。疲れをとるためにホテルで休憩するくらいの時間はあるので、折角ならばSUPもやると楽しいですよ！

The weather was very nice, and I was able to see beautiful ocean views that I usually can't experience. Although there is a bit of distance to the point, with the assistance of the staff, I was able to reach the point easily.

Mr. Ishitaba, our guide, was kind and friendly, and his consideration for the children was perfect. He taught us a lot about Iriomote Island and its wildlife, and my 4-year-old and 8-year-old were able to enjoy the tour without getting bored.
We had a wonderful time seeing the schools of sardines while canoeing, exploring the mangrove creatures, going on a jungle adventure, diving at the waterfall, and enjoying homemade Soki soba for lunch—each moment created lasting memories.
The dessert made by his wife that we received at the end was delicious and soothing for our tired bodies. I would definitely like to request him again when I visit Iriomote Island. Thank you very much.
ガイドの五十畑さんは優しくフレンドリーで、子ども達への気遣いもパーフェクトでした。西表島のこと、生き物のこと、沢山教えてくださり、4歳、8歳の子ども達もツアー中飽きることなく終始楽しみながら過ごすことができました。

My first kayaking experience was fun! I learned a lot from the explanations about various plants and interesting facts! I was lucky to see a wild mongoose today✌️ It's quite hot during the summer, so don't forget to take measures against sunburn and heatstroke! Also, there was a leak from the paddle, so my clothes got wet every time I paddled! Since you'll be sweating, it's a good idea to have a change of clothes!

Initially, I had planned to experience the Blue Cave, but due to the weather, it was changed to snorkeling with sea turtles. However, it turned out to be a highly satisfying activity, and I enjoyed the entire day! The instructor was very supportive, especially for beginners, so even if you're scared of the ocean but still want to try, you can enjoy it with peace of mind. They are also very friendly, which helps ease any tension and lift your spirits.
The Pumpkin Cave is accessed by kayaking to a small cave entrance from the sea, and I was amazed by the mysterious scenery that you wouldn't expect from the outside. It made me feel like an adventurer, and the grandeur of nature brought an incredible sense of excitement and accomplishment for everyone, regardless of age.
During snorkeling, I was able to see sea turtles up close, and having photos taken from angles we couldn't capture ourselves became a wonderful memory! I definitely want to do it again. For those visiting Miyako Island for the first time and unsure of how to spend their time, I think this is just perfect.

パンプキン鍾乳洞はシーカヤックを漕いで行った先の海から入る小さな洞窟の入口の先に外からは想像もつかない神秘な風景に驚かされ、冒険家になったような気持ちになり自然の偉大さに老若男女問わずワクワク感と達成感半端無いです。
シュノーケリングはウミガメにしっかり会えましたし、自分達では撮れないアングルの写真を撮ってもらえるのは最高の思い出になりました！またやりたいです。
宮古島初めて、どう過ごそうと悩んでいる方には丁度良いと思います。

I've been to Okinawa many times, but this was my first time kayaking. I felt a bit nervous but also excited when getting on the boat. As we smoothly glided to the middle of the river, I enjoyed the refreshing breeze and the sound of chirping birds. I even heard a Japanese bush warbler singing. We saw mudskippers, banyan trees, and even a mongoose! I wanted to go a little further, but reluctantly turned back... At the very end, my partner wobbled while getting off the boat and ended up getting splashed! I recommend bringing a full change of clothes. It was a fun experience, thank you!

I went kayaking for the first time, and the instructor, E, taught us in a way that was easy for beginners to understand, allowing us to have a wonderful time. I felt rejuvenated by the negative ions at Pinai Sara Falls. I was very lucky with the weather and timing for our landing on Balas Island. The contrast of the blue sea, blue sky, and Balas Island was stunning. Snorkeling was also a lot of fun, making it a very satisfying day. In the morning, I went kayaking to the Pumpkin Cave, and in the afternoon, I went snorkeling.

My spouse and I participated and went kayaking together. Since it was our first experience kayaking, we were a bit anxious at first, but the guide's explanations were clear, and we quickly got used to maneuvering the kayak. The guide was very knowledgeable about the ecosystem of the river we navigated, allowing us to learn deeply about rare plants and animals, making it a truly valuable experience.
We participated in mid-August, which was a hot time, so I think wearing a hat and sunscreen is necessary to protect yourself from the sun, but it was a great workout. Participants should also consider waterproofing measures for their smartphones, as the lower half of your body might get wet.
We navigated quite a distance, but at a comfortable pace with breaks, so it wasn't too tiring, and there was a great sense of accomplishment. I was also happy that the guide took photos of me that I couldn't have captured myself. Many of the other participants were polite, and even when our kayaks bumped into each other, we helped each other with smiles and had no unpleasant experiences.
I would like to participate again. Next time, I want to join in the evening to experience a different atmosphere. Thank you very much.

参加したのは８月中旬という暑い時期だったので、炎天下から身を守るために帽子と日焼け止めは必要だと思いますが、大変良い運動になりました。参加される人は、下半身は濡れるかもしれないので、スマホとかを水から守る防水対策は必要かと思います。
結構の距離を航行するのですが、休み休みの無理のないペースであまり疲れないし、とても達成感がありました。ガイドさんが自分では撮れないような私の写真を撮影してくれたのも嬉しかったです。他の参加者の人も礼儀正しい人が多く、お互いのカヤックがぶつかってしまっても、笑顔で助け合い、嫌な思いをひとつもしなかったです。
また参加してみたいです。次回は夕方とかに参加して、また違う雰囲気を味わってみたいです。ありがとうございました。

I was worried because my Japanese is not very good as a foreigner, but the guide explained everything well in English, which was great. ☺️ The overall system of the tour (instead of everyone getting on the bus together after one tour ends, we moved individually in cars) wasn't that great, but the guide took beautiful photos for us and was very kind! Thanks to the guide's hard work in searching for sea turtles, we were able to see them! It was difficult to carry the boat because of the nail art, but the guide carried everything and was always smiling, creating a bright atmosphere for the tour! At Pinai Sara Falls, we rode canoes slowly up the mangrove river, and when we reached the base, there was a large group of canoes. Still, the guide efficiently docked the canoes, and off we went towards the falls. I was surprised by the number of people along the way, but just walking through the tropical jungle was exciting. As we heard the sound of rushing water, we finally caught sight of Pinai Sara Falls. The water volume was impressive, and while we couldn't get too close to the base of the falls, it felt great to swim around the pool-like area nearby. Also, eating a bento (rice balls) while listening to the sound of the falls was exceptionally delicious. I wished we could have stayed at the falls a bit longer, but we headed to Yufu Island next. It took about 40 minutes by car, and this drive was also quite enjoyable while taking in the scenery. Now, as for Yufu Island... it was my second visit, but the most touching moment was the sudden performance of the sanshin by an old man herding water buffalo. Listening to the sanshin amidst the backdrop and atmosphere of Iriomote was truly delightful. Overall, the tour, which allowed us to experience the falls, jungle, canoeing, the drive, and the rustic tourist spot of Yufu Island all in one day, was quite good.
ピナイサーラの滝、カヌーに乗って、ゆっくりマングローブの川を上り、麓に着くとカヌーの大群が。
それでも、案内人はテキパキとカヌーを停泊し、いざ、滝を目指す。
道中も人が多いのに驚きましたが、南国のジャングルを歩くだけでも、ワクワクします。
大きな水音が聞こえてくると、いよいよピナイサーラの滝が見えてきます。
水量も多く、大迫力、滝の真下近くまでは行ってはいけませんが、プールのような滝壺周辺で泳いで気持ちよかったです。
また、滝を見ながら音を聴きながら食べるお弁当（おにぎり）は、格別においしいです。
もう少し滝にいたかったのですが、次の由布島に向かいます。
40分くらい車で移動、このドライブも景色見ながら、なかなか楽しいオプションです。
さて、由布島は、、、2回目でしたが、とくに感動は、、、あるとすれば水牛を御してるおじいさんの突然の三線演奏です。
西表の背景と空気感が漂う中で聴く三線は実に気持ちいいものでした。
全体通じて、滝、ジャングル、カヌー、移動のドライブ、鄙びた観光地由布島、これらを一日かけてセットで体験できるツアー、なかなかよかったです。

I participated in a tour of the Pumpkin Cave and snorkeling. We traveled to the entrance of the cave by canoe, and the cave was very mysterious. It seems that the Pumpkin Cave is set to become a cultural heritage site, so if you're interested, it might be better to go sooner rather than later!
Snorkeling was enjoyable with a life jacket and fins, making it easy to explore. There were many fish in the coral reef, and I was lucky enough to encounter a sea turtle.
Tsubasa, who led the tour, had a wonderful smile and explained a lot about marine life! Thank you!
パンプキン鍾乳洞とシュノーケリングのツアーに参加しました。
鍾乳洞の入口まではカヌーで移動しました、鍾乳洞はとても神秘的でした。パンプキン鍾乳洞は文化遺産になるそうで、そうなると入れなくなるそうなので気になる方は早めの方がいいかもしれません！
シュノーケリングはライフジャケットとフィンで楽にシュノーケリングを楽しめました。サンゴ礁にはたくさんの魚がいましたし、ウミガメにも遭遇することが出来て良かったです。
ツアーを担当してくれたつばささんは、笑顔が素敵で海の生物のことなどたくさん説明してくれました！ありがとうございました！

I participated in a mangrove tour in the morning by canoe. Since the mangroves were on land during low tide, the afternoon when the mangrove forest is submerged in water might be better. The tour was enjoyable as they provided detailed information about the mangroves and the creatures living there! They also offer pick-up and drop-off at the port, making it a great option for a day trip from Ishigaki Island. Thank you, guide Ren-chan!

This was my first time kayaking, and it was easy to ride with just the right level of difficulty in operation, which made it so much fun and I laughed a lot! There was a sudden downpour along the way, but it felt like an attraction, and it was exciting and enjoyable. I was also happy to have many photos taken that we couldn't capture ourselves! As for sea fishing, our family of four caught about ten fish. We released the smaller ones, but we also caught some around 30 cm, which got the kids really excited. The tour guide was kind and taught us patiently, even helping the kids with the bait, which we really appreciated! We caught fish that looked more delicious than we imagined, so we were introduced to a place that would prepare and cook them for us. The fish we brought in were made into sashimi, fried, stewed, and grilled with butter, and they were surprisingly delicious. With the thought that we caught the fish ourselves, everyone devoured it eagerly! This was truly a hands-on experience in self-sufficiency and food education, and I was moved. Thank you very much for all your help.
今回カヤックは、初めてでしたが、乗りやすくて操作性が程よく難しく、それがとっても楽しくて沢山笑いました！途中スコールもありましたが、アトラクションのようで、ワクワクして楽しかったです。自分達では撮れない、写真も沢山撮っていただき嬉しかったです！海釣りのほうは、家族4名で10匹くらい釣りました。小さいサイズはリリースしましたが、30cm程のサイズも釣り、子供達も大興奮でした。ツアーの方が優しく丁寧に教えてくださり、子ども達にはオキアミを付けてくださったりと本当に有り難かったです！想像以上に美味しそうな魚が釣れた為、捌いてお料理して下さるお店を紹介いただきました。持ち込みの魚は刺身と唐揚げと煮付けとバター焼きに、これまた驚きの美味しさと、自分で釣った魚という思いから、みんな夢中でむさぼり食べました！！これこそ、自給自足の食育実体験で、感動しました。大変お世話になりました。本当にありがとうございました。

I was able to see the sunset, and it was the best kayaking experience! Since there were only five groups, we could enjoy a meaningful time without feeling rushed. The guide was very thorough in teaching us about Okinawa, so I gained new knowledge. Depending on the tour time, it might get a bit crowded, so I recommend going a little later! I would definitely like to participate again when I come back to Okinawa! Thank you!
