In December, the weather was cloudy, and I thought it would be cold to participate, but I was able to experience kayaking without any particular issues.

I was able to make a reservation here until the morning of the day, so I went ahead and booked it. My flight was delayed, and I arrived at Ishigaki Airport! I quickly purchased my ticket through the app. After waiting for my luggage, it was nearly 5 PM. I went to the bus stop, boarded the bus, and showed my smartphone to the driver to get my ticket issued. Since I will be going to Yonaguni the next day, I will be making at least two round trips to the airport, so I feel like I’m already getting my money's worth. I didn't use it for the day I went to Hateruma Island, but places like Tamatorizaki and Kabira Park are close to the bus stops, and I also took the bus to get near the observation deck to see the emerald sea. I used it for other trips as well, but the airport line has frequent services and is very convenient, so I highly recommend it.

Since Pipi often conducts tours with relatively large groups, I was a bit apprehensive about potential waiting times, and I heard mixed reviews about it. However, to share the outcome, it turned out to be an amazing tour!

Indeed, there were some waiting times (like during equipment collection and waiting for showers), but I considered those small breaks during the tour, which I actually appreciated! Our guide, Shogo, named our group "Shogo Team," which allowed us to enjoy the experience together with the other participants.

The kayaking experience was a bit challenging due to the weather and strong winds, but we were taken to a field where we could fully appreciate Iriomote Island. Since we were going to get wet anyway, the rain didn't bother me at all, and I had a great time!

Iriomote is quite large, so during our car rides, Shogo shared interesting facts about the island, mixing in humor, which made for a very enjoyable time! He also recommended some great places to eat!

The place where we had lunch seemed to have a proprietor who wasn't fond of media or reviews, so I won’t mention the name, but it was truly a delicious local diner. If you go, I highly recommend asking Shogo for directions!

The timing for visiting Yubu Island was just right, allowing us to explore without rushing or feeling like we had too much time on our hands. The cakes, coffee, and ice cream at Yubu Island Tea House were exceptional, so I definitely recommend trying them!

It seems that the timing for riding the water buffalo cart can vary greatly depending on the buffalo, but the one we had was just right—not too fast and not too slow! Listening to the sanshin was a nice touch that felt very Okinawan!

This tour might not be suitable for those who prefer smaller groups, but I was very satisfied! Thank you!

比較的多い人数でツアー催行をするpipiさんなので待ち時間が発生したりと、評判も良い悪い半々くらいなのでどうかなあ〜と思いながらの参加でしたが....結果からお伝えするとすっごくいいツアーでした！
たしかに待ち時間が発生(道具の回収中やシャワーの順番待ち等)しましたが、ツアー中の小休憩と思えばむしろ私にはありがたい時間でした！
ガイドさんのショウゴさんが｢ショウゴチーム｣と名付けてくれたので参加者の方々と一緒に楽しめることが出来ました！
カヤック体験は天候が悪め、風が強めでしたが西表をめいいっぱい感じれるフィールドに連れて行って貰えて、どうせ濡れるので雨は全く気にならず楽しめました！
西表は大きいので車での移動中も西表の豆知識を笑いと織り交ぜながら話してくれるのでとっても楽しい時間でした！
お勧めのご飯屋さんも教えてくれます！
お昼ご飯を食べたところは店主さんがメディアや口コミが好きじゃないみたいなのであえて店名は伏せますが本当に美味しい島の定食屋さんだったので是非行かれる方はショウゴさんに聞いて伺って見てほしいです！
由布島も丁度いい時間設定なので、急いで回ることもなく、時間を持て余すのこともなく由布島を観光できました！
由布島茶屋さんのケーキ、由布島コーヒー、アイスは絶品なので是非食べて欲しいです！
水牛さんによって水牛車の乗車時間が大きくズレる見たいですが今回の水牛さんは早すぎず遅すぎずナイスな水牛さんでした！三線を聞けるのも沖縄らしくて良きでした！
少人数を好む人には向いてないかもしれませんが私は満足でした！

The activities on Iriomote Island were an experience where I could fully feel the energy of nature. Canoeing on the Urauchi River was more challenging than I had imagined, as I struggled against the wind and waves while paddling hard. However, thanks to our guide, Shogo, who provided precise advice, and the shallow waters of the river, I was able to enjoy it with peace of mind.

After two hours of canoeing, we were introduced to a local dining spot near Uehara Port, which was also great. In the afternoon, the sightseeing at Yubu Island was soothing, with beautiful views from the water buffalo and cart, allowing us to fully enjoy the nature of Iriomote Island.

Even during the car rides, the interesting stories about the unique plants, animals, and customs of Iriomote Island made the experience memorable, and I found myself recalling them in various moments throughout our stay. I heard a story about hunting boars using natural traps, and that evening, I enjoyed delicious boar sashimi at an izakaya that you can't find in Tokyo!

My husband and I are already discussing what we should do next time we come. I would like to challenge myself with a longer trekking experience next time. If that happens, I hope to rely on you again, Pipi!

I have been interested in mangroves for a while, so I decided to participate in this tour. It was just as I expected, and I was able to see the beautiful nature and mangroves. We could explore at a leisurely pace, and I was also able to see a white heron walking, which was very soothing. On the day of the tour, the wind was strong, and we were only able to go by canoe. お昼は、1.5hr程度で。シーズンオフですが、お店は五件程度ありました。島ガーデン嶺へ。イカスミヤキソバ、イカスミチャーハンを選んで◎。黒くなった歯は、キマッテル。

上原港から由布島に行く間も、直くんの話で、この道で1度だけイリオモテヤマネコを見たと言う話を聞いて、路肩をくまなく見てました。まぁ、いない！！

最後に由布島は、雄大な西表島の自然をバックに由布島に向けて歩く水牛車は、必見でした。最初は退屈かなと思いましたが、海を渡る水牛はなかなか風情がありステキでした。カヌーより由布島の方が私は好きでした。由布島は、1時間程度散策でちょうどよいです。
帰りは1630の石垣島行きフェリーに乗れました。

35歳ですが少し疲労度もありながら、大満足でした。最初は、カヌー&シュノーケリングツアーも考えましたが、こっちでよかったかな。

Two women participated in the activity. In the morning, we went kayaking as part of a group with three other pairs, but all the other participants were men. Since it was a windy day, we were struggling to keep up and honestly didn't have the leisure to enjoy the scenery. We worked hard because we didn't want to inconvenience the other participants.

I think it's a bit tough for women who aren't confident in their strength on windy days. However, if you're participating as a couple, I don't think it would be a problem.
