I had originally signed up for snorkeling, but due to weather reasons, it was changed to canoeing the day before. I participated with a sense of resignation, but in the end, I had a wonderful first-time experience. On the day of the activity, we had calm, sunny weather and high tide, which were great conditions. There were only four of us, so we had two canoes and were able to leisurely enjoy the mangrove forest. たしかに待ち時間が発生(道具の回収中やシャワーの順番待ち等)しましたが、ツアー中の小休憩と思えばむしろ私にはありがたい時間でした！
ガイドさんのショウゴさんが｢ショウゴチーム｣と名付けてくれたので参加者の方々と一緒に楽しめることが出来ました！
カヤック体験は天候が悪め、風が強めでしたが西表をめいいっぱい感じれるフィールドに連れて行って貰えて、どうせ濡れるので雨は全く気にならず楽しめました！
西表は大きいので車での移動中も西表の豆知識を笑いと織り交ぜながら話してくれるのでとっても楽しい時間でした！

お昼ご飯を食べたところは店主さんがメディアや口コミが好きじゃないみたいなのであえて店名は伏せますが本当に美味しい島の定食屋さんだったので是非行かれる方はショウゴさんに聞いて伺って見てほしいです！
由布島も丁度いい時間設定なので、急いで回ることもなく、時間を持て余すのこともなく由布島を観光できました！
由布島茶屋さんのケーキ、由布島コーヒー、アイスは絶品なので是非食べて欲しいです！

上原港から由布島に行く間も、直くんの話で、この道で1度だけイリオモテヤマネコを見たと言う話を聞いて、路肩をくまなく見てました。まぁ、いない！！
最後に由布島は、雄大な西表島の自然をバックに由布島に向けて歩く水牛車は、必見でした。最初は退屈かなと思いましたが、海を渡る水牛はなかなか風情がありステキでした。カヌーより由布島の方が私は好きでした。由布島は、1時間程度散策でちょうどよいです。
帰りは1630の石垣島行きフェリーに乗れました。
