I paddled a canoe for the first time in a place rich in nature. The guides were all friendly and shared various stories with us, even providing detailed explanations about the mangroves! I can only describe them as truly kind.

I also became friends with the other participants, and in the afternoon at Yufu Island, we spent time together and had many conversations, experiencing the wonderful connections that travel brings.

I felt once again the importance and goodness of human connections, thanks to the kindness of the guides and all the participants. It was the best vacation! Thank you very much!

I participated in a mangrove canoe and Yubu Island water buffalo cart tour in early January.

In the morning, we had a canoe experience in the mangrove forest. The strong winds made it quite challenging to paddle at first, but once we entered the mangrove area, the wind was blocked, making it much easier to paddle. Although the weather was unfortunately cloudy, I was able to feel the beauty of nature up close and have an extraordinary experience.

For lunch, we went to an Okinawan restaurant recommended by our guide. My wife had the goya champuru set meal, and I had the Yaeyama soki soba.

In the afternoon, we participated in the Yubu Island water buffalo cart tour. The sun peeked out, and we were able to see tropical plants and animals on Yubu Island, as well as touch the water buffalo and take photos, which was a lot of fun.

We joined this tour as part of our honeymoon, and it was a truly wonderful experience that we will cherish together.

1月初旬にマングローブカヌー＋由布島水牛車ツアーに参加しました。
午前中はマングローブ林でのカヌー体験でした。かなりの強風で最初は漕ぐのが大変でしたが、マングローブ林に入ると風が遮断され、漕ぎやすかったです。あいにくの曇天でしたが、大自然を身近に感じながら非日常的な経験ができました。
お昼はガイドの方に教えていただいた沖縄料理の店で妻はゴーヤチャンプル定食、私は八重山ソーキそばを食べました。
午後は由布島水牛車ツアーに参加しました。午後からは晴れ間も見え、由布島で熱帯の動植物を見たり、水牛に触れて写真を撮る体験もでき、非常に楽しめました。
新婚旅行での参加でしたが、二人で心に残る非常に素晴らしい体験ができました。

Since it was my first solo trip to Ishigaki Island, I joined this tour to learn more about the island. They took me to all the places I wanted to visit. The guide provided detailed and careful explanations about the island, including its culture, which helped me understand it well.

I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to get to know Ishigaki Island as a whole.

行きたいところを全部回ってもらえました。
またガイドさんの説明が細かく丁寧に島のお話をしてくださって、文化などを含めてよくわかりました。

It was cloudy, but it was no problem at all! The guide was cheerful and explained, "This kind of light makes the blue of the cave look deeper." The blue in the photos was also magical and moving!

曇ってたけど全然問題なし！　ガイドさんが明るくて、「こういう光の方が洞窟の青が深く見えますよ」と説明してくれた。写真に写る青も幻想的で感動した！

I used this to go to Kabira Bay. You can get your money's worth even with a round trip. This time, although I went to Kabira Bay, the glass-bottom boat was canceled, so I went to Kabira Bay again the next day with the same ticket. Since it can be used for 24 hours, I think it's a great deal.

川平湾へ行くのに使用しました。往復でもとがとれます。今回は川平湾へ行ったもののグラスボートが欠航してしまい、翌日も同じチケットで川平湾に行きました。24時間使用出来るので、大変お得だと思います。

The bus fares are surprisingly high because the island is quite large. Outside of the central area where the ferry terminal and bus terminal are located, the fares are expensive, so I recommend purchasing a free pass.

バス運賃は、意外と島が大きいので高いです。
離島ターミナルやバスターミナルがある中心街以外は高いので、フリーパスの購入をオススメ致します。

If you're going to Kawahira by bus, the free pass offers the best cost performance. There are more than 10 buses a day to Kawahira, making it very convenient. However, the fare is over 1,000 yen, so the best options are the 1,000 yen one-day ticket or the 2,000 yen five-day ticket.

川平方面にバスで行くならフリーパスがコスパ最強です。
川平方面には1日10本以上バスが有るので、便利です。
ですが、運賃は千円以上してしまうので、1000円の1日券か、2000円の5日券が最強です。

I had wanted to visit this place since before my trip, so I made a reservation in advance. I was worried because the weather was bad on the first day of the trip, but on the day of the tour, there were clear skies, and the sea was as beautiful as I had expected. From the glass-bottom boat, I was able to see the fish underwater, which is an experience that is hard to come by. The crew maneuvered the boat carefully so that everyone could see. However, the only downside was that although they provided a lot of explanations, I couldn't hear them well because I was sitting at the back where the engine noise was loud. It would have been better if they had used a speaker for the explanations.

旅行前から行きたい場所だったので事前予約していました。旅行初日から天気が悪く心配しましたが、観光当日は、晴れ間も出て、海は予想していた通りで綺麗でした。グラスボートから見る海の中は、魚の様子を見ることができ、なかなか体験できないと思います。船も細かい操舵で全員が見れるようにしてくれました。ただ残念だったのは、色々説明してくれたのですが、一番後ろだったことでエンジン音が大きく聞こえなかったことです。スピーカーを使って説明してくれると良かったのですが。

This was our first trip to Okinawa as a couple. A few years ago, we had to cancel our trip to Okinawa due to the COVID-19 situation, but this time we finally got our revenge!

On the first day of the year, we spent the whole day sightseeing (Nago Pineapple Park ⇒ Churaumi Aquarium ⇒ Kouri Ocean Tower), and on January 2nd, we visited places from our hotel to Naha Airport (Ryukyu Village ⇒ American Village ⇒ Former Naval Headquarters Bunker). For both days, we were taken care of by the same driver. Driver K was someone who consistently showed natural consideration, and I would definitely like to request him again for our next trip to Okinawa.

初めての夫婦沖縄旅行です。
数年前コロナ騒動で泣く泣くキャンセルした沖縄旅行、今回やっとリベンジ致しました！
①元旦の丸一日見学(名護パイナップルパーク⇒美ら海水族館⇒古宇利オーシャンタワー)と、②1/2宿泊ホテルから那覇空港到着までの見学(琉球村⇒アメリカンビレッジ⇒旧海軍司令部壕)で、2日間同じドライバーさんにお世話に成りました。ドライバーKさんは、終始自然な気配りの出来る方で、次回の沖縄旅行でも是非指名してまたお世話に成りたいと思います。

Since my flight was in the afternoon, I participated on the last day of my trip. This time, I didn't rent a car and stayed near the remote island terminal to go on an island tour, so I was left with some regrets about not being able to see much of the island. However, thanks to this tour, I was able to efficiently visit spots like Kabira Bay and other attractions in Ishigaki. The wind was strong, and the glass-bottom boat service was canceled, but it was the only sunny day, so I was glad to see the beautiful sea and sky before heading home. The tour guide also kindly offered to take family photos at each spot, which was great for capturing memories.

15時台の飛行機だったので旅の最終日に参加しました。今回レンタカーを借りず、離島ターミナル周辺に宿泊して離島ツアーに行ったので島内はほぼ見れず心残りでしたが、こちらのツアーに参加したおかげで川平湾など石垣のスポットを効率よく回れました。風が強くグラスボードは欠航でしたが、この日だけ唯一晴れたのできれいな海と空を帰る前に見られてよかったです。添乗員さんもスポット毎に写真撮りましょうかとお声がけいただき家族の写真も残せてよかったです。

The arrival day was cloudy and felt a bit cold. I was worried about the snorkeling reservation, but once we got out to sea, the water was warm, and since we were wearing wetsuits and shoes, it was totally fine.

They put two wetsuits on my 9-year-old child, which was great because I was worried he would get cold. Thanks to that, he didn't feel cold at all and had a lot of fun.

The guide (Makocchan) explained the swimming points and precautions clearly, and I really appreciate it. During the return transfer, he talked about recommended island cuisine, which made the whole experience enjoyable.

When we tried the recommended restaurant, it was incredibly delicious, so I’m glad I joined the tour for that reason too. I would love to participate in another tour! 😊

到着日が曇っていて少し寒く感じました。シュノーケル予約したけど、大丈夫かな？と思いましたが、沖に出ると水温暖かくウェットスーツもシューズも履いてるので全然大丈夫でした。
9歳の子供にはウェットスーツを２枚着せてくれて子供は寒くなっちゃうからとありがたかったです。
おかげで寒くなく、すごく楽しかったと。
泳ぎのポイントや注意点などわかりやすく説明してくれて、ガイドさん（まこっちゃん）に感謝です。
帰りの送迎時はおすすめの島グルメの話などしてくれて終始楽しかったです。
おすすめのお店に行ってみたらすごい美味しくて、そうゆう点でもツアーに参加して良かったです(^^)
また違うツアーにも参加したいです

Unfortunately, we couldn't go to the Blue Cave due to the waves, but we were able to dive from a nearby beach and see the beautiful underwater scenery. The day before was cloudy, but on the day of our visit, it was sunny with great visibility, which made us very satisfied.

We didn't get to see any sea turtles that day, which was disappointing, but I would like to try again next time. I was a bit nervous about my kids wearing snorkeling masks for the first time, but our guide, Makocchan, skillfully guided them, and they were able to put them on smoothly without any issues, enjoying the experience.

Although my kids are a bit timid, there were safe floats available, so they felt completely at ease and had a lot of fun. We were very satisfied with the wonderful experience. Thank you so much! 😊

残念ながら青の洞窟は波の影響で行けませんでしたが、近くのビーチから潜って綺麗な海の中を見る事が出来ました。
前の日は曇っていましたが、当日は晴れてすごく透明度が高く、満足でした。
この日はウミガメに会う事ができず、それは残念でしたがまた次の機会にチャレンジしたいと思います。
子供達が初めてのシュノーケルマスクを着用するので大丈夫かドキドキしていましたが、ガイドさんのまこっちゃんが上手に誘導してくれてスムーズに装着が出来て、一度も失敗する事なく楽しめたようです。
少し怖がりの子供達ですが、安全なフロートもあったし、全然怖くなくすごく楽しかったと大満足でした。
素敵な体験をさせていただきありがとうございました(^^)

I have participated in the tour several times. This time, I was looking for a tour that didn't have city sightseeing, and I found one that fit perfectly in terms of timing. It was great to visit places I hadn't been to yet, like the limestone caves. Since it's the end of the year, I thought there would be many families participating, but I was relieved to see a few solo travelers as well. The driver's performance on the sanshin was wonderful! I am very grateful to the guide for being so kind.

何度かツアー参加させていただいております。
今回は市内観光が無いかな？と探していたらちょうどいい時間帯のツアーを見つけました。鍾乳洞などまだ行って無いところがありよかったです。年末なので、家族参加が多いのかな？と思ってましたらお一人さま参加の方も数人いて安心しました。運転手さんの三線は素晴らしかったです！ガイドさんにはとても親切にしていただきありがとございました。

I used the tickets to visit the Churaumi Aquarium, Southeast Botanical Gardens, and Okinawa World. Not only were they a great deal, but I also didn't have to wait in line at the ticket counter, which made it convenient and saved me time.

チケットを利用し、美ら海水族館、東南植物楽園、おきなわワールドに行きました。お得なだけでなく、チケット窓口に並ばなくても良いので、楽で時間節約にもなりました。

Although the weather was unfortunately cloudy and windy (with occasional light rain), it was a satisfying day trip visiting the limestone caves, Kabira Bay, and Tamatorizaki Observatory. I also enjoyed the scenery from the car window along the way, and the guide's explanations were great.

あいにくの曇りと強風(時々わずかな小雨)という天候でしたが、鍾乳洞や川平湾、玉取崎展望台を巡り、途中、車窓からの景色も楽しみながら、満足出来る日帰り観光でした！ガイドさんの説明も良かったです。

Ishigaki Island has beautiful seas everywhere. Traveling by bus was convenient. However, please be careful as there are many routes with infrequent service. Delays are also common.

石垣島は、何処でも海が綺麗です。
バスでの移動が便利でした。
本数が少ない路線も多いので気を付けて下さい。
遅延も多いです。

It was unfortunately a cloudy day, but the water was clear and there were no issues. Since we had booked during high tide, we were able to see a lot of corals and fish! The captain explained everything very well, and we even got to see sea turtles, which made us very satisfied!

あいにくの曇天でしたが、海の中は透明度が高くて問題なし。
ちょうど満潮近い時間帯の予約だったこともあり、たくさんの珊瑚や魚たちに会えました!
船長さんが上手に説明してくれ、ウミガメにも会えて大満足でした！！

At the end of December, there were many days with bad weather, but on the day of the tour, the weather happened to be nice, and we were able to enjoy a pleasant stroll through the mangroves. It was our first time paddling a canoe by ourselves, but the guides were very patient, making it comfortable even for beginners.

12月末は天気が悪い日が多かったですが、ツアーの日はたまたま天気がよく、気持ちよくマングローブを散策することができました。自分たちでカヌーを漕ぐのは初めてでしたが、ゆっくり案内してくれるので、初心者でも安心でした。

I wanted to easily explore various places, especially to visit a limestone cave, so I decided on this tour! Unfortunately, it rained, but it was just as I expected. We got to ride on a glass-bottom boat, and even in the rain, we could clearly see the corals, fish, and sea turtles! The guide was just as he introduced himself, constantly chatting away, playing the sanshin, singing, and dancing, so I never got bored on the bus. The driver was also very kind and drove safely.

楽チンに色んなところ巡りたいのと、とくに鍾乳洞に行きたくて、本ツアーに決めました！あいにくの雨でしたが、期待通りの内容でした。グラスボートも乗れて、雨でもサンゴや魚、海ガメもしっかり見れました！ガイドさんは「思いついたことどんどん喋りますんで〜」と前置きされた通りにずーっと喋りっぱなし、三線弾いて唄をうたい、踊りも踊って、バスの中では退屈しませんでした。運転手さんも安全運転で優しい方でした。

You can paddle through a river surrounded by various types of mangroves in a kayak. It felt like being an explorer as we went under the mangroves and, during high tide, even entered caves.

Even for those who are kayaking for the first time, the guide provides thorough instructions, making it easy to paddle intuitively. Additionally, it's safe for families with small children since two people can ride together, allowing an adult to assist.

数種類のマングローブに囲まれた河をカヤックで進んでいきます。マングローブの下を潜ったり、潮位が高い時は洞窟の中にも入れるようで探検家になったような気分で楽しめました。
カヤックが初めての人でもガイドさんが丁寧に教えてくれるので、感覚的に漕いで進んでいけます。また小さな子どもがいても2人乗りで大人がフォロー出来るので安心です。

I chose this course mainly for the Churaumi Aquarium. Considering the price, I was generally satisfied with the bus guide's explanations and the punctuality of the meeting times.

However, I was disappointed with the Pineapple Park. The tour guests were guided here by the staff, but unfortunately, most of the people in the tour got lost. It took a long time to get to the exit, and I couldn't ride the cart that I was looking forward to... If they had guided us from the beginning, indicating which way to go for the cart and which way for the park tour, I could have taken the cart. I think it's better not to follow the older gentleman.

美ら海水族館メインでこのコースを選べました。価格からしたら、バスガイドさんの解説があったり、集合時刻の正確さだったり、概ね満足です。
　残念なのは、パイナップルパークです。ツアーのお客様はこちらと、係の人に案内されましたが、いつの間、ツアーの大半の人達は迷子になってしまいました。出口に行くのに時間がかかり、楽しみにしていた、カートには乗れず、、、最初から、カートの人はこちら、園内見学はこちらと案内してくださればカートに乗れたのに、、と思います。おじさんについて行かない方がいいです。

The weather was rainy and not great, but the lighting at the Ishigaki Island limestone cave was beautiful. I was lucky to see sea turtles on the optional glass-bottom boat at Kabira Bay. The view from Tamatorizaki Observatory was also amazing. I thought it would be even more wonderful if the weather had been nice, and I felt like I wanted to visit again. For lunch, I had Okinawan home-cooked dishes, which had a gentle flavor. I would like to come back again when the weather is nice.

天気は雨模様でイマイチでしたが、石垣島鍾乳洞のライトアップは綺麗でした。川平湾ではオプションのグラスボートで海亀を見れたのがラッキーでした。玉取崎展望台の景色も最高でした。天気が良ければもっと素晴らしいと思う思うと、また訪れたいと思いました。昼食も沖縄の家庭料理で、優しい味でした。また、天気のいい時にもう一度、来たいと思います。

During my three days in Ishigaki, it seems there are two bus companies available. On the first day, I opted for touch payment. On the second day, I used it to travel towards Kabira, and on the third day, I used it for the trip from Kabira to in front of San-A, which concluded the 24-hour period. From San-A to the airport, I used touch payment again. As a result, if I had used my Beltora points, it would have balanced out, but otherwise, the five-day pass would be more economical.

石垣3日間で、バス会社が2つあるようなので、初日はタッチ決済にしてしまいました。2日目、川平方面への移動に使用し、3日目は川平からサンエー前までの移動で24時間が終わり、サンエー前から空港はタッチ決済になりました。結果、ベルトラのポイントを使っていればトントン、そうでなければ5日券の方がお得です。

When I got on the bus, I showed the driver my voucher and was able to exchange it right away. It was very smooth.

バスに乗り込んだ時に運転手さんにバウチャーをお見せしてすぐに引き換えてもらえました。とてもスムーズでした。

It was a windy day, so we couldn't ride the glass boat at Kabira Bay, but I think it's a great way to efficiently tour the attractions of Ishigaki Island. If you want to buy black pearls, make sure to bring plenty of money!

風が強い日で川平湾のグラスボートは乗れませんでしたが、効率よく石垣島の観光スポットを周るにはとてもいいと思います。黒真珠を買いたい人は、お金いっぱいもっていこう！

On my days off, I take long-distance buses. As someone who loves airplanes ✈️, I always make sure to make one round trip to the airport within five days.

It's quite a good deal on tickets.

I was able to relax at the Churaumi Aquarium. If I had to wish for something, I would have liked to have a bit more time at American Village to see the illuminations, but overall, I was very satisfied. I participated alone, but I was able to talk with others who were also there alone, as well as families, making it a fun tour and a great memory.

美ら海水族館でゆっくりできました。欲を言えば、アメリカンビレッジに、もう少し滞在時間があってイルミネーションが見られたら良かったとは思いますが、十分満足できるものでした。私は、1人参加でしたが、同じく1人参加の方や、親子参加の方とお話しでき、楽しいツアーで、良い思い出になりました。

I made a reservation for a day's activities, but unfortunately, the snorkeling in the afternoon was canceled due to strong winds. I only participated in canoeing, but it turned out to be a great experience. I'm glad I joined.

First, the day before → I received a phone call in the evening to confirm the time and location for participation. It was very polite. However, while asking for height was fine, asking for weight was a bit much... It would have been better to ask which size of life jacket (S, M, L) I preferred.

On the day → We gathered in front of the red post box 📮, and the meeting place was easy to find, so I didn't get lost. Foreigners and Japanese participants were separated into different groups. I was with only Japanese participants.

In the car, we used an app to register the consent form. Until we arrived, the guide provided information. During this time, the guide, Taishi, recommended delicious restaurants and menu items, which I actually visited. I'm really glad I got those recommendations. It was incredibly helpful advice.

During the activity → There were two guides for four groups of participants. I heard that some people might hurt their backs, which I thought was unlikely, but the position for getting into the canoe was quite tough 💦.

Along the way, the guide took pictures, and I received all the photos as data. They sent me about 20 pictures.

After the activity → I borrowed a free shower to change. I wonder if the shower room doesn't have a lock... that was a bit concerning.

Overall, the quality of the guides was high. The photo service was also good. The content and duration of the activities were just right. It was disappointing that the snorkeling was canceled, but I will definitely participate next time! I had a lot of fun.

1日のアクティビティに予約しましたが、残念ながら風が強くて午後のシュノーケルは中止になりました。
カヌーだけの参加となりましたが、すごくいい体験になりました。参加してよかったです。
まず前日→夕方に電話がかかってきて参加時間場所などの確認があり。すごく丁寧。ただ、身長はいいけど体重まで聞かれるのは…ライフジャケットはS.M.Lどれがいいかくらいの聞き方が良かった…
当日→赤いポスト前集合📮集合場所は分かりやすくて迷わず。外国人と日本人は別々のグループで分けてくれていた。同行は日本人のみ。
車の中でアプリを使って同意書の登録。到着まではガイドさんから案内。この時のガイドたいしさんから美味しいお店やメニューを教えていただいて、実際行きました。教えてもらってて本当よかった。めちゃくちゃありがたいアドバイスでした。
アクティビティ中→参加者4組に対してガイドは2人ついてくれた。
腰を痛める人もいるとかで、まさか〜と思ったけど、カヌーに乗る態勢ってなかなか辛い💦
途中ガイドさんが写真をとってくれて、写真はすべてデータでもらえます。20枚くらい送ってくれました。
解散後→無料のシャワーをかりて着替えました。シャワー室は鍵がついてないのかな…ちょっと不安ですね。
全体としてガイドさんたちの質が高い。写真撮影などのサービスもよい。アクティビティの内容も時間もちょうどいい。
シュノーケル中止は残念でしたが、次回ぜひ参加します！凄く楽しかったです。

In late December, I participated in a day trip from Ishigaki Island for a mangrove forest canoeing and buffalo cart tour on Yubu Island.

On the day of the trip, due to rough seas, the Uehara route was canceled, so we took the 7:30 ferry to Ohara Port and used the ferry company's bus to get to Uehara Port. (I heard that cancellations are common during this time of year.)

In the morning, we experienced canoeing in the mangrove forest. The strong winds made paddling difficult, but it felt like a jungle adventure, and it was a truly valuable experience.

For lunch, we went to a restaurant recommended by our guide and filled our stomachs with curry fried rice.

In the afternoon, we headed to Yubu Island. Although the sky was unfortunately cloudy, we enjoyed a performance of the sanshin (a traditional Okinawan instrument) while riding in the buffalo cart. On Yubu Island, we also had the opportunity to interact with the water buffalo, which was very satisfying.

Finally, we were taken back to Ohara Port. We participated as a family with two toddlers, but we thoroughly enjoyed the great nature of Iriomote Island.

12月下旬、石垣島から日帰りでマングローブ林カヌー&由布島水牛車ツアーに参加しました。
当日は時化のため、上原航路は欠航、7:30の便で大原港へ向かい、上原港まではフェリー会社のバスを利用しました。（この時期は欠航になることが多いそう。）
午前中はマングローブ林カヌー体験でした。風が強く漕ぐのが大変でしたがジャングル探検感覚で大変貴重な経験ができました。
お昼はガイドの方に教えていただいたお店へ。カレーチャーハン？でお腹を満たしました。
午後は由布島へ。あいにくの曇り空でしたが水牛車の中では三線の演奏もあり楽しめました。由布島の中では水牛に触って楽しめる体験もでき、大満足でした。
最後は大原港へ送迎していただきました。
幼児2人連れのファミリーでの参加でしたが、西表島の大自然を満喫できました。
