Since I was traveling with my elderly grandparents, I was looking for a tour-type island-hopping experience rather than going individually. I was able to enjoy Taketomi Island, which I was most looking forward to, and I was also satisfied with visiting Iriomote Island and Yubu Island together. The weather wasn't very good, but the mangrove cruise and the water buffalo were impressive. While I can't say it was completely relaxing, I was able to spend a fulfilling day at a relatively leisurely pace. I'm glad I allocated a longer time for Taketomi Island.

Everything went smoothly and on time, and I was able to enjoy myself without any worries like, “Is this the right destination?”

The bus driver on Iriomote Island was the best. The lunch on Yubu Island was delicious. On Taketomi Island, I chose the bus tour and water buffalo ride. There were times when I thought, “Wait, we’re leaving already? I want to stay here a little longer…” but it was a great day packed into about 9 hours.

I definitely want to ask for help again!

時間通りに、スムーズに活動でき、「行き先はここかな？」等という不安なく、安心して楽しむことができました。

The tour was very convenient for us to take since they offer pickup and drop services from well known hotels. If you do not have your own rental car and only have about a day or two to explore the city, I would say this tour is your best bet. There are other operators that pick you up from the airport, but if you are living up north in one of the secluded beach resorts then this option works very well since you don't have to go back and forth into the city.

The guide spoke Japanese but also had English translation. We could not follow the translation much but the views make up for it all.

Time wise, we found 150 minutes good enough for Churaumi Aquarium but I would have liked to stay at the Kouri beach for a little longer. Then again it is a personal choice since I am a fan of white sand beaches. Other than the Charaumi Aquarium, I felt it was more about going from point A to B to C rather than savouring A, B and C. Having said that, this tour did introduce me to some of the amazing places in Okinawa. I spent half of next day at Kouri beach to sink in it's beauty completely.

The places we visited were reduced, and I couldn't go to the scenic spots I wanted to see. If the tour content is different, it should be clearly stated, and if the afternoon tour is shorter, shouldn't the price be adjusted as well? I was really looking forward to the only island sightseeing, so I was disappointed.

I was able to closely observe the mangroves unique to the Yaeyama Islands from a well-equipped boat designed for rain protection. The tour included a water buffalo cart ride to Yubu Island, a scene familiar from television, and it was enjoyable as a guest. On Yubu Island, the sight of the largest butterfly in Japan, the Papilio garamas, fluttering around was elegant and beautiful! The mangrove walking path is also well-maintained.

On Taketomi Island, I leisurely enjoyed my time exploring the Okinawan village by water buffalo cart and on foot. I returned to Ishigaki Island at 4:15 PM and took a photo with Yoshitaka Gushiken—what a thrill! The popular tour had a well-organized schedule, which was reassuring. It was unfortunate about the unpredictable weather. Lunch was somewhat disappointing compared to the delicious meal from the previous day. It would have been perfect if there had been more choices.

Our resort hotel was on the northern side, quite inaccessible and we did not rent a car as well.

This tour enabled us to see (and taste) the best of Okinawa within just a day. As an added bonus, it was a great experience that started and ended punctually. Our guide was great and helped get the tour bus to drop us right at our hotel.

I think it's a great deal to be able to stop by various places and spend three hours at Churaumi Aquarium for this price! Since we had three hours, we were able to take our time exploring the aquarium, even with kids. The hotel shuttle was really appreciated for traveling with children. I understand it can't be helped, but I always wonder if there's a way to avoid the 30-minute walk to and from Churaumi. On the way back, we arrived at the hotel earlier than planned, which was a relief.

いろいろなところに立ち寄れて、美ら海も3時間滞在できて、このお値段はお得だと思います！3時間滞在できたので、子連れでしたが、ゆっくり水族館をまわれました。ホテルの送迎でしたので子連れにはほんとありがたかったです。しょうがないとは思いますが、美ら海まで往復30分ほど歩くのはどうにかならないかなーといつも思います。帰りは予定より早くホテルに到着したので助かりました。

It was attractive for being able to visit key spots, but I was also healed by the guide's singing and dancing! It's unfortunate what happened to Shuri Castle this time, but I will definitely visit again during the restoration and make use of the tour!

The first half of the trip was disappointing due to rain and cloudy skies, but in the second half, especially on this day, we were blessed with clear weather and were able to see the beautiful scenery of Kabira Bay, which I had longed to see.

「歯の治療中なので、かたい物が噛めないから肉を小さく切って欲しい」とリクエストしたら２センチ角くらいに切って下さったので噛みやすかったです。
また機会があればベルトラさんのツアーに参加したいです。

I highly recommend participating in this when you visit Taketomi Island! Riding a water buffalo to tour the streets lined with red-tiled roofs and white sand, typical of Okinawa, is the best experience. The guide had a shamisen and sang for us, which was another great highlight! The tour lasts about 30 minutes, so I think you can spend the remaining time exploring the beach or cycling around the island!
