Pick-up at Ōhara Port or your hotel in the eastern area of Iriomote Island
The tour begins with a gentle jungle course suitable for all fitness levels. The typical order is canoeing and jungle trekking in the morning, followed by Yubu Island sightseeing in the afternoon.
*Subject to change due to weather.
Paddle through the wide-reaching mangrove forests and subtropical jungle of Iriomote Island, soaking in the natural scenery.
After canoeing, start trekking through the jungle. Listen to birds and insects, spot wildlife, and head toward the refreshing waterfall basin.
At the upper Maera River, enjoy the natural waterfall pool. On hot days, feel free to jump in and cool off—fun for both kids and adults!
Learn about local wildlife from a guide trained in environmental studies and part of the Iriomote Wild Bird Research Society. Spot and observe animals with expert insights.
Enjoy a delicious lunch at the waterfall: freshly made Yaeyama soba with tender simmered pork (rafute) and flavorful broth.
*Lunch may be moved to a viewpoint in case of bad weather.

Cross the shallow sea to Yubu Island by traditional water buffalo cart.
*Guide does not accompany during Yubu Island visit.

・The guide becomes unwell and cannot safely lead the tour - If weather conditions change suddenly during the tour, it may be canceled mid-way for safety reasons.
