Begin a full-day adventure to Okinawa's tallest waterfall—Pinaisara Falls—by canoe and jungle trekking.
〜 Morning 〜
Paddle for about 30 minutes through lush mangroves and subtropical forests, part of Iriomote’s UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Hike for about 45 minutes toward the top of Pinaisara Falls, surrounded by untouched nature.
Enjoy lunch at the waterfall’s summit on sunny days. The meal includes freshly made Yaeyama soba with tender simmered pork (sōki), served with flavorful broth in the heart of nature.
〜 Afternoon 〜
After lunch, trek for about an hour down to the base of the waterfall.
In warmer seasons, enjoy swimming or jumping into the natural pool at the foot of the falls.
Relax with handmade treats like “komorebi balls” (egg- and wheat-free) or homemade yeast cake, served with coffee or tea. Ingredients are locally sourced whenever possible.
