It was my first experience riding a canoe, and I was nervous, but the guide (Team Kawai) provided excellent guidance, and I quickly got used to the canoe. The mangrove forest was very beautiful, and I was able to see various creatures, which was fun! It was even better than I imagined! It was a very satisfying tour.

Although it was a small group, it was a collective activity, so the pace and understanding varied among participants. Therefore, the instructor's leadership was the key point.
Mr. Okubo from Monsoon was able to assess the participants' abilities and provided appropriate instructions and guidance. As a result, the most important safety considerations and attentiveness to those who needed extra care were perfect, allowing us to participate with peace of mind and enjoy ourselves greatly with others.
Additionally, Mr. Okubo had a wealth of knowledge about the nature of Iriomote, and his strong love for Iriomote was evident in his insights about trees, flowers, animals, fish, and weather, earning him more than a perfect score (the rice balls were delicious too).

I was impressed by the extraordinary experience of kayaking through the mangroves on Iriomote Island. It felt wonderful to glide quietly over the water. On Yubu Island, I was healed by the adorable water buffalo, and traveling in the water buffalo cart was charming and enjoyable. It was my first time doing SUP, but with the kind guidance of the instructor, I was able to paddle out with confidence. The water surrounded by mangrove forests was very calm, and the time spent slowly moving while listening to the sounds of birds and the wind was an exceptional healing experience. It was a tour that even beginners could enjoy without difficulty, allowing me to refresh my mind in nature.

The weather was great, and I thoroughly enjoyed canoeing and trekking. While canoeing through the mangroves of Iriomote Island, I was able to enjoy the experience while listening to the guide's detailed explanations. The trekking was quite steep, with rocks and tree roots making it slippery, but with the guide's help, I was able to safely make it to the waterfall. The waterfall was also magnificent. During both the canoeing and trekking, we spotted some rare creatures, and the explanations made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. I believe the guide was very reliable. It's not a problem if you've never been canoeing before. The guide mentioned that towards the end, their arms get tired and feel swollen, but I personally didn't feel that way. You can see the mangrove forest up close and even touch it.

We participated as a family of four with elementary school children and toddlers. Our tour guide, Macchan, was very kind, and the children really warmed up to him. I was worried about whether the kids would be able to swim, but Macchan helped them, allowing us to enjoy snorkeling with peace of mind. On Yufu Island, we were able to interact with the water buffalo, which was a delightful experience. The island tour lasted for just one hour, and it was such an attractive place that I wished we could have spent a little more time exploring. Thank you for a very enjoyable day!

The waterfall looked so beautiful while floating in the basin that it felt unreal. I could see four sea turtles, and the corals were amazing, with the water clarity being top-notch.
The staff were also very attentive and made the experience wonderful.

I participated in Yumi's tour. I was a beginner at both snorkeling and canoeing, but the explanations were thorough and easy to understand, so I felt safe participating. I had experienced the sunset before, so this time I chose the sunrise canoe. They picked me up at the hotel, and during the 20-minute drive to the port, I encountered what seemed to be wild boars and Ryukyu scops owls, and on the way back, I saw a white-browed crake.
When we arrived at the port in the still dim light, there were many clouds and thunder could be heard in the distance, but by the time we received the briefing and set off, the clouds began to turn red, and gradually the morning glow became visible.
Along the way, a sea turtle surfaced for air and quickly dove back down, and I also saw black and white clownfish. Most importantly, the guide shared various stories, making it a very satisfying tour.
サンセットは以前に体験したので、今回はサンライズカヌーを選びました。ホテルまで迎えに来ていただき、港までの20分のドライブ中にイノシシやリュウキュウコノハズクらしき鳥と、帰りはシロハラクイナと遭遇しました。
まだ薄暗い中港に到着した時は雲が多く遠くで雷もなっていましたが、説明を聞いて出港する頃には雲が赤く染まりだし、だんだんと朝焼けが見えてきました。
途中で海亀が息継ぎで上昇してきて慌てて潜っていったり、白黒のクマノミもいたり、何よりガイドさんが色々な話をしてくださり大満足のツアーでした。

I participated in a mangrove kayak tour and a visit to Yubu Island!
The mangroves were surrounded by trees on both sides, making the waterways narrow, which gave a thrilling sense of adventure and was really enjoyable.
I got stuck in the mangroves a few times, but our guide, Rui, kindly helped me out and provided just the right amount of advice.
The visit to Yubu Island was great because we got to ride water buffalo to the island, which is an experience you don't usually get.

I wanted to experience snorkeling in the morning when the waves were calm, but it was scheduled for the afternoon. The waves were high in the afternoon, and my child was scared, so we couldn't do it well. Other participants also mentioned that the waves were calm in the morning. The guide for the Pisainara Falls also felt rushed, which was disappointing.

The first thing that caught my eye was the strong mangrove forest with its deeply rooted trees. The countless roots stretching out from the mud looked like living sculptures, and I felt the resilience of nature. As I paddled along the water's surface, branches and leaves spread out on both sides, making it feel like I was rowing through a green tunnel. The breeze was gentle, and every time I looked up at the sky, the bright blue and white clouds were stunning.
The guide was really kind, and their explanations were clear and interesting! They talked about the nature and wildlife of Iriomote Island in a fun way, providing not just beautiful scenery but also plenty of learning opportunities. I felt a sense of security, which allowed me to relax and enjoy canoeing even as a first-timer.
As I glided over the calm water, I was enveloped in a feeling of "time flowing slowly," something I can't experience in my daily life, and I felt truly refreshed. Being healed by the energy of nature and encountering views that can only be seen here was a truly special experience.

I was able to go to Barasu Island, which I had wanted to visit for a long time, and I was deeply moved! Initially, the plan was to land by boat, but I received a call the day before saying that due to the tides, we couldn't land by boat and had to choose between snorkeling to get there or giving up on Barasu Island and going to Yufu Island instead (there was originally a note about the possibility of changing the tour).
Since I have children and had never been to a place where I couldn't touch the bottom, I was anxious about snorkeling, but our guide, Toshi, kindly explained everything over the phone, which I really appreciated. In the end, I was glad I chose snorkeling. I got to see a lot of fish in the beautiful sea, and I was able to go to Barasu Island as well.
The mangrove canoeing was also fun, as we could all ride together as a family of five, and it felt like an adventure. I would like to join Toshi's tour again next time!

当初は船で上陸するプランでしたが、前日に電話があり潮の関係で船では上陸できず途中からシュノーケリングで向かうか、バラス島は諦めて由布島に行くか選んでくださいとのことでした（ツアー変更の可能性については元々記載がありました）

I participated in the tour in the afternoon. Since it was low tide, the roots of the mangroves were exposed, and it was fun to paddle through them. I participated alone! It was a beautiful place rich in nature⭐︎ In the morning, the cows on Yufujima were adorable. In the afternoon, I went on a canoe mangrove cruise. I joined Team Seki, and when I asked them questions about the mangroves and the creatures, they provided many interesting answers! We participated as a family with elementary school children. We were able to fulfill two wishes: Yufu Island and the mangrove canoe tour! The canoe tour not only included explanations about the mangroves but also allowed us to catch crabs and mudskippers, making it a very satisfying tour for the kids. Thank you, J! 😊

After slowly canoeing while admiring the mangroves, we went on our first trekking adventure. The roots of the majestic trees were sprawling, making the footing quite challenging, but thanks to our guide's entertaining stories and explanations about the plants, we managed to reach the Piñal Sara Falls. Diving into the plunge pool with the 55-meter waterfall in the background was thrilling and felt amazing. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the half-day tour. I highly recommend it! The guide took many photos for us, creating wonderful memories. Thank you!
マングローブを眺めながらゆっくりカヌーのあとは、初めてのトレッキング。壮大な木の根っこがはびこり、足場はなかなかハードでしたが、ガイドの方の楽しいお話、植物の説明のお陰で、なんとかピナイサーラの滝に到着。落差55メートルの滝をバックにおっかなびっくり滝壺ダイブ、最高に気持ち良かったです。我が家は半日ツアーで十分楽しめました。オススメです！！

Yubu Island had a short and hectic impression with only one hour for sightseeing, but I was satisfied to cross by water buffalo cart. I was able to experience snorkeling at Barasu Island and another spot, making it a great experience. The meeting point was close to where we boarded the boat, and the snorkeling spots were also nearby, which was nice. Our guide, Abe-chan, took many beautiful photos, and I was very satisfied.
由布島は島内観光の時間が1時間と短く慌ただしい印象でしたが水牛車で渡る事が出来て満足です。
シュノーケルはバラス島ともう1ポイント2ヵ所で体験出来ました。
集合場所から船に乗るまでも近く、ポイント同士も近かったので良かったです。
担当ガイドのあべちゃんが綺麗な写真をたくさん撮ってくれて大満足でした。
Since lunch was not included, I bought a bento at the supermarket and ate it. I thought it would be convenient to have a plastic bag or something, as I needed to take the trash back with me.
お昼ごはんが付いてないのでスーパーでお弁当を買って食べました。ゴミを持ち帰る必要があるのでビニール袋とかあると便利だと思いました。
