I was glad to finally see the mangroves. The tour with the team was not only about the mangroves but also included a lot of interesting trivia, which made it even more enjoyable.

チーム関ではマングローブツアーだけでなく多くの雑学を教えてもらいながらのツアーだったのでより楽しかったです。

I signed up for this tour because I wanted to make the most of my limited time efficiently. Iriomote Island is rich in nature, and the water buffalo walk leisurely, which was very soothing for me, as I usually live a busy life. The shaved ice I had on Taketomi Island was fluffy and delicious.

限られて時間の中で効率よく回りたかったので、こちらのツアーに申し込みました。西表島は自然が豊かで、水牛はゆったり歩き、普段忙しない時間の中で生活しているので、とても癒されました。竹富島で食べたかき氷はフワフワで美味しかったです。

I participated alone in July.

First, we took a speedboat to Iriomote Island, and the tour started with a mangrove tour in the Nakama River. The speedboat ride included detailed explanations, and during the mangrove tour, we were able to handle real shells that are found in the river. Along the way to Yubu Island, we received various guides and had a great time throughout.

Yubu Island is a small island, but the lunch was very delicious, and the tropical plants were beautifully maintained in this lovely place. I thought it might smell like cattle, but it didn't at all. We also had various conversations and sang songs during the water buffalo cart ride.

After that, we went to Taketomi Island. Unfortunately, it was cloudy, but we comfortably rode bicycles around the main spots.

I don't think I could have arranged such a perfect schedule on my own, so I believe this is the best tour.

最初にスピードボートで西表島島に行き、仲間川のマングローブツアーから始まりました。スピードボートから全て詳しい説明付きで、マングローブツアーでは川で獲れる本物の貝などを実際に回してくださりました。
由布島への道中も色々なガイドをしていだだけ、終始楽しく過ごせました。
由布島は小さな島ですが、お弁当がとても美味しいく南国の植物がとても綺麗に手入れされた美しい場所でした。
牛臭いかな？と思っていましたが、全くでした。
水牛車でも色々なお話をして歌も歌って頂けました。

その後、竹富島に行きました。あいにくの雲でしたが、自転車で快適に主要な場所を周りました。

自分ではこんなにベストなスケジュールで行けないので、最高のツアーだと思います。

A wonderful summer vacation visiting the three islands of Iriomote Island, Yufu Island, and Taketomi Island, swaying in a water buffalo cart while being soothed by the sounds of the sanshin, and seeing coral reefs and colorful fish from a glass-bottom boat.

西表島、由布島、竹富島の3島巡り、水牛車に揺られ癒される三線の調べ、グラスボートから見えたサンゴ礁とカラフルな魚たち、楽しい夏休みでした。

I was moved by the Milky Way, which I saw for the first time. The starry sky was magnificent, and everything, including the staff's explanations, was great. I was worried about my 80-year-old mother needing a restroom, but there were restroom breaks along the way, so we could participate with peace of mind. Thank you very much.

満天の星空、スタッフさんの説明何もかも良かったです。80歳の母親も一緒だったのでトイレが心配でしたが、道中にトイレ休憩もあり安心して参加できました。

For those who do not participate in activities like snorkeling, I recommend the glass-bottom boat tour in Taketomi Island. However, the water buffalo cart tours are crowded and have very long wait times, which leaves almost no time for free exploration of Taketomi Island afterward. Therefore, I suggest opting for cycling instead of the water buffalo cart course.

シュノーケリング等をやらない方には竹富島グラスボートお勧めですが、水牛車観光は混雑していてとても待ち時間が長い為、その後の竹富島フリー観光時間がほぼ無くなるので水牛車コースではなくサイクリングをお勧めします。

This is my first time in Ishigaki Island. This time, since I didn't have much time, I joined this tour to efficiently visit the surrounding islands. Whether boarding the boat or the bus, there was very little waiting time, and everything went smoothly. Fortunately, the waves weren't high, and I didn't experience the seasickness I was worried about, but I recommend that those who are prone to motion sickness bring some medication.

石垣島は初めて。今回は、あまり時間がなかったこともあり、離島を効率よく回るのに、このツアーに参加しました。
船に乗るにも、バスに乗るにも、とにかく待ち時間が少なく、スムーズ。
運良く、波も高くなくて、心配していた船酔いもありませんでしたが、酔いやすい人は酔い止め持参をオススメします。

The full day experience is quite interesting, though most of the cases are only self-guided and if you are not Japanese, there is limited information learned since most of the guided (on the river boat and the bus) are conducted in Japanese. The whole trip is packed with different experiences including a boat trip, water buffalo truck, authentic little towns, beautiful beaches, etc., which were quite satisfactory. The bento for lunch was well prepared as well. Fortunately, I was in a showroom about Taketomi Island with many great displays of local folk items, culture, and a short movie theatre with air conditioning that allowed me to spend the time during the rain learning many things about Taketomi culture. Also, there is English and Chinese explanation as well.

The full day experience is quite interesting though most of the cases are only self-guided and if you are not Japanese, there is limited information learnt since most of the guided (on the river boat and the bus) are conducted in Japanese. The guided device for foreigners had very limited information compared with the length of what the guides said. My guided device seems malfuntioned as it is not working probably in the middle of the trip, which really lessened the information I could learn. Haven't said that, the whole trip is packed with difference experiences with boat trip, water buffalo truck, authentic little towns, beautiful beaches etc which were quite satisfactory. The bento in lunch was well prepared as well. There was a huge rain but fortunately I was in a showroom about the Taketomi Island with many great displays of local folk items, culture, and short movie theatre with air conditioned that made me spend the time during the rain to learn many things about the Taketomi Culture. Also, there is English and Chinese explanation as well.

Even small children participated, and thanks to the thorough and attentive instruction, we were able to successfully complete our first canoeing experience! The weather was also favorable, and we are very satisfied! Next year, please sign us up for the full-day course.

Taketomi Island has many attractions, and my free time passed in the blink of an eye. The beach and the streets with red-tiled roofs were wonderful, creating a soothing atmosphere.

竹富島は見どころが多くフリータイムはあっという間に過ぎてしまいました。浜も赤瓦の街並みも素敵で癒される空間でした。

Yume's explanation was clear and easy to understand, and her attention to detail as a woman was impressive. I'm glad I participated this time. Thank you!

I participated in a night tour on Iriomote Island. I was surprised at how skilled our guide, J, was at finding coconut crabs. He found about eight of them! Thank you, coconut crab hunter J!

The day before, I received a call saying that if we were to go to Yufu Island by rental car, we could take our time without any time constraints. I apologize for the late notice, so we changed our plan to exclude Yufu Island. Thank you for handling the changes with Veltra and for your flexible response.

On the day of the trip, I wore a swimsuit, a rash guard, and half pants for the beach. Before we left, they lent me a waterproof backpack and trekking shoes, and we organized our luggage before heading out.

There were both single and double kayaks available, and since we were participating as a pair, they asked which one we wanted to use.

We set off in a double kayak. It was quite a challenge to synchronize our paddling, so we called out "right, left, right, right, right, left" together, and the guide complimented us, saying, "That's great!" (laughs). I heard that some people end up arguing during this part... (sweat).

After enjoying the kayaking, we moved on to trekking! We took short breaks along the way, and the guide explained the unique plants and animals of the Yaeyama Islands and took photos for us. There were some challenging spots, but we listened carefully to the guide's instructions and communicated with those behind us, climbing together as a group.

Among the people we passed, there were elderly individuals and small children!

We initially planned not to enter the water at Pinai Sara Falls, but seeing everyone enjoying themselves in the heat and the open air made us decide to go in. We carefully entered from the shallow area, and thanks to the life jackets, we were able to float and had a lot of fun.

We chatted while eating our lunch, then retraced our steps and kayaked back.

It seems that showers are available for a fee, but they kindly provided us with a free shower room just for changing.

We were blessed with good weather and wonderful participants, making it a very enjoyable experience.

前日に、レンタカー行動なら由布島は自分達で行った方が時間の制約がなくゆっくりできますよ。連絡遅くてすみません。と電話をくれたので、由布島なしのプランへ変更しました。
ベルトラの変更手続きもしてくださり、柔軟な対応ありがとうございました。

当日は、水着と上下ラッシュガードに海辺用のハーフパンツを着用して現地へ。出発前に防水リュックとトレッキング用の靴を貸してくれ、荷物を整理して出発。

カヌーは1人用と2人用があり、2人で参加したため、どちらにするか聞かれました。

２人用で出発。息を合わせないと大変で、右、左、右、右、右、左と２人で声を出しあって漕いでいたら、ガイドさんに、良いですね〜と言われました（笑）中には、ケンカになってしまう方もいるらしいです。。。苦笑

カヌーを満喫して次はトレッキング！
途中で小休憩も取ってくれますし、八重山特有の植物や動物達を説明してくれたり写真も撮ってくれます。なかなかハードな場所もありましたが、ガイドさんの言葉をきちんと聞いて、後ろの人達にも伝え、みんなで登りました。

すれ違う人達の中には、ご高齢の方や小さな小さなお子様もいました！

ピナイサーラの滝で滝壺へ入らない予定でしたが、暑さと開放感とみんなが気持ち良さそうにしているのをみて入ることにしました。浅瀬から足元を注意しながらゆっくりと入っていき、ライフジャケットのお陰でぷかぷか浮かぶことができて楽しかったです。

お弁当を食べながらおしゃぺりして、またまた来た道を戻り、再びカヌーに乗って戻りました。

シャワーは有料のようですが、着替えのみのため、無料でシャワールームを貸してくれました。

お天気にも参加者のみなさんにも恵まれ、とても楽しかったです。

We participated as a family of three, including my wife, our 11-year-old daughter, and myself. We were extremely satisfied with the plan that allowed us to fully enjoy the natural beauty of Iriomote Island, a UNESCO World Heritage site, in just one day! The guide was thorough and ensured our safety, helping us create wonderful memories. We also had many photos taken, and the underwater pictures are especially beautiful; I've looked at them many times since returning home.

The majestic jungle, stunning ocean, and rich natural experiences were truly amazing.

This is definitely a place we want to visit again. Thank you!

世界自然遺産、西表島の自然を1日で満喫する事ができるプランに大満足です！
丁寧かつ安心安全なガイドで、最高の思い出を作る事ができました。また、写真もたくさん撮って頂き、特に海の中の写真は美しく帰って来てから何度も眺めています。
雄大なジャングルと美しい海、豊かな自然体験は本当に素晴らしいです。

The weather was nice, but the heat was a struggle. Given my age, the schedule was tough. The children were happy. We had the experience of mangroves, water buffalo, and the traditional streets of Taketomi Island. I thought it would be nice to experience it slowly during a cooler time rather than in the peak of summer. If I have the time, I would like to experience it again during a cooler season.

天気が良く暑さに苦しみました。年齢的にスケジュールがハードでした。子供達は喜んでいました。マングローブ、水牛、竹富島の昔ながらの街並みの体験をさせていただきました。真夏の体験でなく涼しい時期にゆっくり体験したいと思いました。時間があれば涼しい時期にもう一度体験させていただきたいと思います。

The quality of the guides varies greatly. Having participated in another tour in the past and being part of multiple groups this time, I could clearly see the differences in the explanations and handling by other guides. Unfortunately, our female guide's knowledge and explanation skills were not at a level suitable for the job. While it's natural that we might not see stars or creatures, the guide's explanations should meet a certain standard. It felt like we were just walking through the bushes with a student, merely expressing reactions like "This is amazing!" or "That's gross!"

Additionally, regarding logistics, we received no communication about the pickup location until late the night before, and the amount of information required for the consent form was excessive. It would have been better if this had been sent in advance. Since I had to input the information for each family member on my smartphone, it took over 10 minutes just for four people, which is no joke.

There are other similar tours available, so it might be better to consider those.

ガイドの当たり外れが非常に高いです。別ツアーに過去参加したのと、今回複数グループで参加したので、他のガイドの説明やさばきを見ていたから如実なのですが、私たちの担当ガイド女性は知識も説明方法も仕事の現場に出してはいけないレベルでした。星や生き物が見えないこともあるのは自然のことなので仕方ないとして、ガイドの説明は一定水準必要なはずです。これはすごいー、キモいー、と感想述べるだけで、失礼ながら学生の子と茂みを歩いているだけみたいになりました。

またロジですが、前日深夜になるまでピックアップ場所の連絡もなく、記載必要な合意書も異常な量の必要回答量で、これなら事前に送っておいてもらえればな、と思います。家族人数分をスマホで入力しないといけないので、4人だと冗談じゃなくこれだけで10分以上とられます。

他に似たツアーもあるので、そちらのご利用がいいかもしれません。

The water buffalo tour was relaxing and enjoyable. The song from the man upon arrival added to the fun. The buffalo were very smart too. You can also take pictures with the buffalo on the island.
The mangrove tour progresses slowly along the river. It's soothing as you see the mangroves and birds.

水牛ツアーは、のんびりゆっくり楽しかった。到着時のおじさんの歌も盛り上げてくれました。牛もとてもお利口でした。島では、水牛と写真も撮れます。
マングローブツアーは、ゆっくり川を進みます。マングローブや鳥などを見ながら癒されます。

I saw mangrove seeds for the first time! I learned about the decomposition cycle of fallen leaves that changes with low and high tides, and I also encountered shy crabs that appear at low tide. It was a fun canoe experience even for beginners. Thank you, Team Kantsu!

We had a canoe experience as a family of three. The guide, Mr. Seki, provided clear explanations and communicated with all participants, which made us feel at ease throughout the experience. We learned a lot about Iriomote Island and the ecology of the mangroves.

They provided both a small paddle for our 8-year-old daughter and an adult-sized paddle, but she persevered and paddled with the adult paddle until the end. It was also very enjoyable to get out of the canoe to see the mangroves up close and touch the creatures living there.

Although it was our first canoe experience, it became a precious opportunity to feel the nature of Iriomote Island, and we created wonderful memories.

家族３人でカヌー体験をしました。
ガイドの関さんの説明がわかりやすく、また、参加者全員とコミュニケーションを取りながら進めてくださったので、終始安心して参加することがでしましたし、西表島のことやマングローブの生態のことなど色々と知ることができました。
８歳の娘には子供用の小さいパドルと大人と同じパドル両方貸してくださいましたが、最後まで大人と同じパドルで頑張って漕いでいました。
途中カヌーをおりてマングローブを近くで見たり、そこにすむ生き物に触れたりしたこともとても楽しかったです。
初めてのカヌー体験でしたが、西表島の自然を感じられるとても貴重な体験になり、いい思い出ができました。

I experienced canoeing in Iriomote Island. The instructors were very attentive, making it easy for beginners to participate with confidence. Additionally, Mickey (the guide) had a wealth of knowledge, and it was a lot of fun. Thank you very much! It became the best memory!

I was able to visit three islands, and it was a very meaningful time. The mangroves, water buffalo carts, and the streets of Taketomi Island were amazing. The rental bicycles were great. The ferry from Ishigaki Island is very rocky, so those who are prone to motion sickness definitely need to take anti-nausea medication! After arriving at Taketomi Island, I took a bus to the city center, but it was unfortunate that the departure was delayed because we were waiting for the next ferry. This reduced our sightseeing time on Taketomi Island.

3つの島をまわることが出来て、とても有意義な時間でした。
マングローブや水牛車、竹富島の街並みは最高でした。レンタサイクル良かったです。
石垣島からの船はとても揺れるので、酔いやすい人は酔い止め必須です！
竹富島に着いてから市街地まで行くバスに乗車したけれど、次の便の船を待っていた為、発車が遅れたことが残念です。竹富島観光の時間が減りました。

I didn't know places like this still existed. It's as if Yufu Island is heaven, a paradise, and the water buffalo cart is a shuttle to heaven—truly like a dream. The water buffalo cart feels like it's moving through time and space. There’s such a different world here that it makes me worry about returning to reality. I'm glad I went.

まだ、こういう場所があったのか。まるで由布島は天国、楽園、水牛車は天国への送迎、まさに夢の中。水牛車は時空を超えて移動しているようです。現実世界に戻れるか心配になるほど違った世界があります。行ってよかった。

I participated with my wife and two children. It was tough due to strong winds and rain, but we were able to see a bat for a moment, and it was a lot of fun! Next time, I want to join when the moon is dark to see the Milky Way!

I was able to see a sky full of stars, moving stars (satellites), shooting stars, and the Milky Way.
At the beach, I could see turtle nests.
The moon was beautiful, but it seemed difficult to capture the stars with the camera due to the moonlight, so the photo of the starry sky provided by the tour wasn't great.
The photos of the insects and other creatures we received were beautiful.

The tour involves parking the car on a dirt road.
We walk from the dirt road through a thicket, observing insects and plants, until we reach the beach. It's the same path both ways.

満天の星、動く星（衛星）、流れ星、天の川を見ることが出来ました。
浜辺ではウミガメの穴を見ることができました。
月が綺麗で、月の明かりで星をカメラで写すには難しいようで、ツアーの方からいただいた星空との写真がイマイチでした。
いただいた虫や生物の写真は綺麗でした。

ツアーは、車を野道に置きます。
野道から雑木林を虫や植物を見ながら浜辺まで歩きます。往復同じ道です。

I was taken care of by Yumi, the guide. It seems that encountering the coconut crab, hermit crab, Ryukyu sea cucumber, and sea turtle nesting was a very rare experience. The fun time flew by in an instant.

ガイドのゆみちゃんにお世話になりました。ヤシガニ、オカヤドカリ、琉球このはずく、海亀の産卵にも出会えてとてもレアな事だったようです。楽しい時間はあっという間でした。

I misunderstood that bike rentals were included in the activities on Taketomi Island, which caused some confusion upon arrival. I wish there had been an explanation at least when issuing the tickets. It seems that other customers received an explanation.

竹富島での過ごし方にレンタサイクルとあるので、含まれてると勘違いしてついてからゴタゴタしました。せめてチケット発行の時に説明がほしかったです。

I felt very relaxed while riding the water buffalo cart and listening to the sanshin.
I enjoyed a leisurely stroll on Yubu Island.
On Taketomi Island, I couldn't get a grasp of the schedule and only wandered around the port for a bit before returning, which left me feeling a bit unsatisfied, but I think it was good that I was able to return to Ishigaki Island early.

水牛車に乗って三線を聞きながらとてものんびりとした気分でとても癒されました。
由布島ではゆっくり散歩気分で散策が楽しかったです。
竹富島では、段取りが把握できずに港の周りを少しだけ散策して直ぐに港に戻り少し不完全燃焼でしたが、石垣島に早く戻れたのはよかったと思っています。

Although there were slippery slopes and dirty areas along the way, it was a fantastic tour that my first-grade daughter enjoyed without fear, finding glowing scorpions and recognizing constellations! The guide was very knowledgeable about Iriomote Island and various creatures, making sure all participants had a great time. On the way back, he diligently searched for creatures, and thanks to him, we were able to see a large habu snake! I highly recommend this for families with children!

道中、滑る斜面や汚れる場所もありますが、小１の娘でも怖がることなく、光るサソリや、知ってる星座を見つけて大満喫のツアーでした！
ガイドさんも、西表島のことや、生き物のことを色々教えてくれて、参加者が楽しめるよう配慮してくれる方で本当に楽しめました。帰り道の車でもどこかに生き物がいないか一生懸命探してくれて、そのおかげで大きいハブが見れました！
