I participated in early October. Since it was a Sunday, the boat was quite crowded. I recommend lining up early. They efficiently take you around three spots in one day, so I highly recommend it. I think it would be difficult to explore Iriomote Island on your own. Since it was a tour, we were able to efficiently visit key points without wasting time. The guide for the water buffalo cart was absolutely fantastic.

The mangrove cruise was very interesting, especially since the guide's explanations were easy to understand and it was my first experience.

On Taketomi Island, we had free time, but I rented a bicycle and was able to explore at my own pace, truly experiencing Okinawa.

I highly recommend this day trip tour.

The day was windy and we had to fight against the wind in the widest place of the mangrove but nothing too difficult. A little bit of rain at some times. All in all you it helped you feel the nature. The guide gave us wonderful explanations on the ecosystem. The experience was great, with a friendly group and guide.
In the afternoon, weather improved and the same guide lead us to the river where we could enjoy a safe canyoning experience for beginners. It was amazing and so much fun.
Thanks for everyone who made it possible to enjoy those activities in the wild of Iriomote island.

The stargazing was on a full moon night, so I couldn't see much, but the full moon sky was bright and very beautiful.

During the jungle exploration, I was very moved to see many creatures! I encountered a coconut crab twice, and there were also rare crabs and hermit crabs!

I participated in this tour on my first visit to Iriomote Island.

In the morning, we went out to the sea for snorkeling around Barasu Island and its surrounding points (led by Shōtarō). The beauty of Ishigaki was impressive, but the stunning clarity of the ocean and the colorful corals were breathtaking! We were lucky enough to encounter a shark! I also took many photos underwater, creating the best memories.

In the afternoon, we did SUP in the mangrove river (led by Ren). It was my first time on a SUP, but they taught me carefully, and it was easy and felt great! I got to see and touch rare creatures and plants with knowledgeable explanations, which was really interesting.

The staff were cheerful, and it was an incredibly fun tour! I want to stay on Iriomote Island next time!

I landed on Iriomote Island for the first time, and this tour was truly amazing!!! The woman guiding the mangrove boat tour gave really great explanations. The bus driver's stories on the way to the boarding area for Yubu Island were also a lot of fun, making us laugh on the bus. The stories about the water buffalo on Yubu Island were interesting, and I'm really glad I participated.

I was picked up at my accommodation, Hoshino Resort, and we went to Uehara Port where I greeted my guide. As a beginner in stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), I received a detailed lecture from the guide before the experience, which made me feel secure and allowed me to enjoy it.

Due to the timing, the water was shallow, and we occasionally got stuck, but I was still able to have a lot of fun as a beginner. Whenever I struggled to keep up with the team's pace, the guide actively supported me. They also introduced information about Iriomote Island, the local wildlife, and recommended restaurants along the way, which was helpful for my future stay on the island.

In the afternoon, we briefly disbanded at Uehara Port and went on a tour to Barasu Island. Similarly, before snorkeling, the guide provided a very detailed lecture. I felt a bit anxious since it had been a while since I last snorkeled, but I was able to enjoy the tour comfortably without any water entering my goggles or fogging up.

Throughout both the morning and afternoon, the guide took photos for us. In the morning, they used a very high-quality camera, and in the afternoon, the guide even dove underwater to take pictures, which we could never have captured ourselves. These photos became truly unforgettable memories.

午後は一旦上原校で解散してバラス島のツアーに行きました。
同じようにシュノーケリング前には担当ガイドから大変詳しいレクチャーがあり、久しぶりのシュノーケリングで少し不安でしたが、ゴーグルから水が入ることもなく、くもりもなく大変快適にツアーを楽しむことができました。
午前午後とも担当ガイドさんが写真を撮ってくださいました。午前は大変画質の良いカメラで、午後はなんとガイドさんが水中に潜り、水中の中での写真を撮っていただけました。自分たちでは絶対に撮れない写真なので、本当に一生の思い出になりました。
ツアー終了後は、事務所でシャワーを浴びることもできたみたいですが、私たちはご好意でそのまま宿泊先の星野リゾート送っていただけました。初めから終わりまで、大変心地が良く、快適にツアーを楽しむことができました。皆さんには本当に感謝しています。

We chose to bike around Taketomi Island, but even with our confidence in reading maps, we got lost, so it might be better to head back a little earlier. I wanted to experience the night on Iriomote Island, so I stayed there for one night and participated in a night tour. Just before the tour, there was a heavy rain. The rain stopped before we entered the mountains, and I headed up wearing the borrowed shoes. I discovered a coconut crab, a snake, and a cricket. After that, the sky cleared up, and while driving, we spotted an owl on the power lines and observed it. We were able to stargaze on a bridge. The starry sky was beautiful and moving, but I felt a bit disappointed because the night tour involved a short round trip and we were behind another group, so I missed seeing some of the things that had escaped. However, I am grateful for the experience, as this is probably what a night on Iriomote Island is really like.

夜の西表島を体験したくて、西表島に一泊、ナイトツアーに参加。ツアー直前に豪雨。山に入る前には雨も止み、貸してもらった靴で山へ。ヤシガニ、蛇、コロギスと発見。その後は空も晴れてきて、車移動、途中で電線にフクロウを発見、観察、橋の上で星空観察できました。星空はキレイで感動しましたが、ナイトツアーは短距離の往復と前を行くグループの後で、発見したモノも逃げてしまって見れなかったりで、ちょっと残念だと感じました。でも、コレが現実の西表島の夜かなと体験できた事に感謝しています。

I had a great time.
At first, I was worried because it was cloudy and a little rainy, but the jungle was full of life even in the rain, and I enjoyed it thoroughly.
After a while, the rain stopped, and the stars were beautifully visible. However, I was told that on clear days, even more stars can be seen, so I look forward to my next visit!
