A thrilling and satisfying day! The morning spent leisurely exploring Yufu Island was a great way to relax, and the switch to canoeing through the mangroves in the afternoon was fantastic! This plan packed both sightseeing and active experiences, resulting in a wonderfully fulfilling day!

It was the best experience to fully enjoy the great nature of Iriomote Island! Canoeing through the mangroves was very mystical and moving! The guide was entertaining, making the journey enjoyable. I also made wonderful memories riding a water buffalo cart across the sea on Yubu Island. I was very satisfied with all the photos taken.

The first thing that caught my eye was the strong mangrove forest with its deeply rooted trees. The countless roots stretching out from the mud looked like living sculptures, and I felt the resilience of nature. As I paddled along the water's surface, branches and leaves spread out on both sides, making it feel like I was rowing through a green tunnel. The breeze was gentle, and every time I looked up at the sky, the bright blue and white clouds were stunning.
The guide was really kind, and their explanations were clear and interesting! They talked about the nature and wildlife of Iriomote Island in a fun way, providing not just beautiful scenery but also plenty of learning opportunities. I felt a sense of security, which allowed me to relax and enjoy canoeing even as a first-timer.
As I glided over the calm water, I was enveloped in a feeling of "time flowing slowly," something I can't experience in my daily life, and I felt truly refreshed. Being healed by the energy of nature and encountering views that can only be seen here was a truly special experience.

I participated alone! It was a beautiful place rich in nature⭐︎ In the morning, the cows on Yufujima were adorable. In the afternoon, I went on a canoe mangrove cruise. I joined Team Seki, and when I asked them questions about the mangroves and the creatures, they provided many interesting answers! There were also families from overseas participating, and it was impressive how they explained everything in English! Even though I was alone, I was well taken care of and had a great time‼︎ I highly recommend this activity!

Yubu Island had a short and hectic impression with only one hour for sightseeing, but I was satisfied to cross by water buffalo cart. I was able to experience snorkeling at Barasu Island and another spot, making it a great experience. The meeting point was close to where we boarded the boat, and the snorkeling spots were also nearby, which was nice. Our guide, Abe-chan, took many beautiful photos, and I was very satisfied.
由布島は島内観光の時間が1時間と短く慌ただしい印象でしたが水牛車で渡る事が出来て満足です。
シュノーケルはバラス島ともう1ポイント2ヵ所で体験出来ました。
集合場所から船に乗るまでも近く、ポイント同士も近かったので良かったです。
担当ガイドのあべちゃんが綺麗な写真をたくさん撮ってくれて大満足でした。

During the busy Obon holiday period, we took the Yufuin Water Buffalo Cart Tour in the morning and the Canoe Mangrove Tour in the afternoon. Although our family isn't particularly athletic, they taught us the proper techniques for paddling a canoe, and we were able to manage it well. During the canoe tour, I brought my smartphone in a waterproof case, but I might not have needed it since our guide, Matsuko, took photos and videos for us. She sent the data via LINE on the same day.
It was a very fulfilling day. Even after the tour ended, she shared information about a great coffee café and a place selling pineapples without a vendor, allowing us to enjoy our time until the ferry departure.

We chose to go canoeing with two adults, a middle school student, and an elementary school student. We proceeded with two two-person canoes. Since the water level was high, we were able to paddle deep into the mangrove forest, which was a lot of fun. It seems that when the water level is low, you can get out of the canoe and walk. Our time on Yubu Island flew by as we strolled and enjoyed gelato.

I was a bit anxious with around 100 people at the meeting point, but each tour had a conductor, and we were lucky enough to have Naoto as our dedicated guide for our group of two! My first canyoning experience was filled with natural water slides, rock climbing, and jumping, and I felt like a kid again, having so much fun.

I hadn't made any plans before arriving at Iriomote Island, but I was interested in canyoning and was looking for a place that allowed same-day reservations. For now, I signed up for a half-day canyoning session, and since it was my first time, I had a great time. Everyone else was from overseas, but the guide explained everything in both English and Japanese, and all the participants got really into it, making it a lot of fun. As the typhoon approached, I signed up at the last minute, but due to strong winds, we switched to canyoning. Following the reliable Captain Macchan, we made our way through the forest, descending to the river to jump off rocks and slide down like on a slide. It was a fun activity with a sense of unity as we cheered each other on with other groups! We also took lots of photos and videos, creating wonderful memories of Iriomote Island!
In the afternoon, we had a course set for Yufu Island, but unfortunately, it was temporarily closed due to the typhoon. When I consulted with Captain Macchan, he suggested a tour around Iriomote Island. Thanks to him, we were able to explore every corner of Iriomote Island, which turned out to be great! This time, I participated in a plan that included a trip to Yufu Island and a canyoning tour.
We were taken by shuttle to both Yufu Island and the canyoning location, and the guide shared a lot of information about Iriomote Island with us.
On Yufu Island, we rode on a water buffalo cart! Once we arrived, we had some free time, so we could relax and enjoy ourselves.
For the canyoning tour, we walked a bit to reach the river, but since we were chatting with the guide, we arrived at the river in no time. Once we got to the river, we could jump from high places and use our bodies to go down the water slide, which was so much fun!
It was an extraordinary experience, and I have the best memories!
今回、由布島とキャニオニングツアーのプランで参加させていただきました。
由布島に行くまでとキャニオニングの場所に行くまではそれぞれ送迎車で連れてってくれてガイドさんも沢山西表島情報を教えてくれます(^^)
由布島では水牛車に乗って向かいました！
着いてからもフリータイムがあるのでゆったり楽しむことができました。
キャニオニングツアーでは川に着くまで少し歩きますがガイドさんとお話ししながらだったのであっという間に目的地の川へ着きました⭐︎川へ行ってからは高いとこから飛び込んだり体を使ってウォータースライダーもできるのですごく楽しいです！
非日常体験ばかりで最高の思い出です

I participated in a canoe and water buffalo tour. The response after booking was smooth and reassuring until the day before the tour. I joined Naoto's canoe tour, and the introduction to Iriomote Island was interesting and very enjoyable! It was great not only to canoe but also to swim along the way! Snorkeling was amazing, especially with the selection of the best spots. Our guide was "Abe-chan." He explained everything in both English and Japanese, being very attentive to both foreigners and Japanese people like me. He is the best tour conductor. When I visit again, I will go with "Abe-chan"!

I booked the tour hoping to see the sunset in nature, but it turned out to be much more than that. I had the rare experience of paddling through the mangrove-filled river on a stand-up paddleboard for the first time. The time flowed leisurely, and I was able to relax. It was great to feel the love for Iriomote from the guide's explanations, and the photos taken were truly wonderful!
サンセットを自然の中で見れたらいいなーと予約したツアーでしたが、それだけでなく、マングローブが生い茂る川の間を、初体験のSUPで進んでいく貴重な体験ができました。ゆったりとした時間が流れ、リラックスできました。ガイドさんの解説からも西表愛が感じられたのもよかったし、撮っていただいた写真も本当に素敵でした！

The boat itself had a large number of people, but we had guides for smaller groups, which allowed us to enjoy the experience without any worries! The tour was quite efficient, so we were able to experience everything smoothly without long wait times or feeling sluggish, which was really great. The weather was clear, and the sea was crystal clear and beautiful! I was grateful that they took memorable photos for us throughout the trip. At the very end, we encountered a very large manta ray, which really boosted our excitement! I would love to request this again when I come back to Iriomote Island. ^_^

船自体は大人数でしたが、少人数単位でガイドさんが着いて、不安なく楽しめました！かなり効率化されたツアーだったので待機時間やダラつく事なくスムーズに体験できたのもすごく良かったです。また天気は快晴で、海も澄んでいてすごく綺麗でした！思い出になる写真も随時撮影してくださりありがたかったです。最後の最後でかなり大きいエイに遭遇できてテンションがあがりました！また西表島に来たらお願いしたいです^_^
