The staff who guided us were knowledgeable about various things and were wonderful. It started to rain heavily partway through the day, but it was an experience that reminded me of my childhood. As I entered the cave, I thought, "Is it really going to be like this?" and then an incredible view unfolded before me, which was moving. I felt that such an experience is hard to come by.

It was a day when we were worried about strong spring winds and rain, but our guide was very enthusiastic in ensuring we could safely experience Iriomote Island. The lunch we had in the mountains was so delicious that it reminded me of the joy of school field trips when I was in elementary school. We were even able to snorkel, which I thought would be impossible, and I was truly happy to swim in the coral sea with sea turtles and tropical fish! With such a packed itinerary, I thought I would like to stay on Iriomote Island longer next time.

The guide was very kind and fun, and although we were caught in the rain while canoeing, it added to the adventure and was really great. The stories were interesting, and the giant rice balls we had for lunch were delicious, especially enjoyed in front of the waterfall. We had to crouch quite a bit to enter the cave, but we felt the beauty of nature's formations. It was a day filled with energy from nature!

We participated in a day trip from Ishigaki Island with my wife and our second-grade son. The guide was very kind to us, and we had an incredibly memorable and amazing experience.

During the canoeing and trekking to the waterfall, the guide provided detailed explanations about the natural creatures and plants, and he answered my son's various questions appropriately, deepening his interest in nature. It was also a lot of fun to dive into the waterfall pool.

The itinerary was manageable even for canoe beginners, thanks to the appropriate advice, and the trekking was quick, taking only about 30 minutes.

The latter part in the limestone cave surprised me a bit as I didn't expect that to be the entrance, but it was filled with a sense of adventure and was enjoyable.

Next time, I want to stay on Iriomote Island and participate! My son seems to have had an unforgettable experience and is excitedly saying he wants to go back to Iriomote Island!

We participated as a family of five from a hotel in Ishigaki Island. We chose this ambitious tour, wanting to be active and do various activities. However, with the rain and wind, we were prepared for cancellation, but the tour went ahead. The ferry to Uehara Port was canceled, so we took a bus via Ohara Port and arrived over an hour late to start the tour.

Canoeing was my first experience, but the current was gentle, so there were no issues. Time felt like it was flowing slowly. Next was trekking, where we had a plant guide and made our way to a waterfall with a significant drop. The rain had increased the water flow, and I was surprised to see the powerful waterfall up close. On the way back in the canoe, I was already accustomed and felt relaxed. Our guide, Aya, shared many wonderful things about Iriomote, making for a fun time.

Due to the rain, we had our meal in a monsoon, and with guidance from Aya's husband, Mr. Kamei, we started snorkeling. Even in the rain, the underwater world was beautiful with fish and coral, and I was moved to see sea turtles and sea snakes. There were hats, towels, raincoats, and wetsuits available, so forgetting something wasn't a problem.

There were times when the rain intensified, but since we were going to get wet anyway, it was all in good fun. Although the temperature was low for the season and the weather was bad, the attentive service from the Kamei couple warmed our chilled bodies, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time on Iriomote Island. It would have been perfect if the weather had been clear, but I was still satisfied.

雨のためモンスーンで食事し、あやさんご主人の亀井さんのガイドでシュノーケリングスタート。雨でも海の中は魚に珊瑚でキレイで海ガメウミヘビにも会えて感動。
帽子やタオルやカッパにウェットスーツ、温水シャワーもあり、忘れ物しても問題なかった
雨きつくなる時もあったがどうせ濡れるしご愛敬。季節的に気温は低くさらに天候悪く不安いっぱいでしたが、案内してくれた亀井ご夫婦の至れり尽くせりの対応で家族皆、冷えた体も暖かくなって西表島を満喫し終われました 晴れであれば最高ですが満足できました。

It was raining on the day of our adventure, which brought down our spirits a bit. However, we paddled our canoe through the heavy downpour and ventured deep into the river. From there, we trekked up through the dense jungle, and the sight of the swollen Pinai Sara was impressive, lifting our spirits significantly. The cave was completely dark without any lighting. We wore headlamps and bumped our helmets against the rocks, crouching down and getting our lower bodies wet—it was truly an adventure. We experienced this with two people aged 65 and 61. We usually go out without plans, but since the weather tomorrow is forecasted to be cloudy, we started looking for options about two hours before leaving home and made a reservation without fully understanding the details. On the day, it drizzled on and off. What I thought would be a regular cave turned out to be an exciting cave exploration where we crawled through a limestone cave. The round trip to the waterfall involved canoeing and trekking, and everything exceeded our expectations. It was the best experience I've had so far. The guide was also very good. I was hoping to see the sunset and the stars in Ishigaki Island, but they were obstructed by clouds and moonlight. Next year, I want to stay in Iriomote. I was completely satisfied! The guide was fun, and I was able to take a lot of photos! Canoeing for the first time was not difficult once we got started, and by the middle, I felt that everyone around us had grasped the technique. We quickly spotted turtles while snorkeling. Impressive! The sea was clear and beautiful! After getting out of the water, we had quite a bit of time before returning to the boat, which allowed us to take a leisurely shower, enjoy the horses, and relax in the hammock in the garden—those were great memories. Balas Island is quite irregularly shaped, and it was unfortunate that it submerged below the water level at high tide, but the selection of snorkeling spots, including a resting place for sea turtles, was excellent. Although it was a last-minute reservation the day before, I was able to participate. The sea was sparkling like jelly, and I saw cute fish and even a sea turtle, albeit just its face. During the canoeing, I was waved off by the fiddler crabs, and I was moved by the unique subtropical trees during the trekking. The staff who guided us answered our questions about living creatures and plants with great care, and I thought their knowledge was wonderful. The other staff members were also very pleasant.

It wasn't just about trekking or snorkeling; I learned a lot about Iriomote Island, plants, and animals, making it a very satisfying day. Also, the PM Sea plan included canoeing and trekking while I still had energy, which was just right.

I definitely want to go again.

We decided on this tour for our fifth grader and first-year middle school boy who wanted an active experience. On the day of the tour, we gathered at Uehara Port and heard it could get crowded coming from Ishigaki Island, so we arrived early to depart. We felt relieved to meet the staff waiting for us on-site, but this year there has been a dry rainy season, and the cave's sanitary conditions weren't good, so we quickly changed to canyoning for the afternoon. After moving to the shop, we put our valuables in a waterproof bag we borrowed and received a canoeing lesson before heading to the location. There were tandem options available, but they assured us that our fifth grader could manage alone. While being watched over and given advice, we trekked for 40 minutes, listening to stories about the flora and fauna, and were healed by the negative ions at Pinai Saara Falls. We enjoyed homemade rice balls from our guide for lunch and returned via the same route before heading to canyoning. We experienced jumping in from upstream, and the descent downstream was filled with excitement for the kids on a hot summer day, making for a very active and enjoyable day. It went by in a flash, but we truly had a fun day. I would love to sign up for the same tour again next time. Lastly, I was happy to receive many photos as well. 小学５年と中１男子、アクティブな体験したいとこのツアーに決定。当日は上原港に集合ということで石垣島から混雑すると聞いて早め待機で出港。現地で待っていただいてるスタッフの方と合流でき安心したのですが今年は空梅雨で洞窟の衛生環境がよくないらしく急きょお昼から代案のキャニオニングに変更。一度店の方へ移動させていただいてから貴重品のみお借りした防水バックにいれてカヌーのこぎ方レクチャーし現地へ。２人のりもあるそうだけど小学５年でも一人で大丈夫、と見守ってアドバイスいただきながら片道４０分、動植物のお話聞きながらトレッキング、ピナイサーラの滝でマイナスイオンに癒されました。ガイドさんの手作りおにぎり、昼食いただき元来たルートで戻り、次はキャニオニングへ。上流から飛び込みも体験しつつ下流までの沢下りは暑い夏日に子供たちもおおはしゃぎでとてもアクティブに心地よくハードに１日満喫できました。あっという間でしたが、本当に楽しい１日過ごせました。今度もまた同じツアーで申し込みたいくらいです。また最後にたくさんの写メもいただけ嬉しかったです。アクティブに１日過ごされたい方洞窟は変更になりましたがスタッフの方も優しくおすすめです。ありがとうございました！

I visited Iriomote Island for my graduation trip. Since I was there, I wanted to have an experience that I couldn't easily have elsewhere, so I chose this activity. On the day of the trip, we couldn't go snorkeling due to the waves, but we were able to switch to cave exploration, which left me very satisfied. The guide was also very kind, and I got along well with the other participants, which I think is one of the attractions of the experience. I forgot to post this, but it's been a while... We canoed close to the waterfall and then trekked to the waterfall! We played in the water at the waterfall and had rice balls nearby. In the afternoon, we explored three caves! The trekking path was harder than I expected, but the excitement when we reached the waterfall was immense. The caves were natural, each with a different character, and there were some very large stalactites, as well as countless icicle-like formations on the ceiling that sparkled when light was shone on them. It was also fun to hear the guide talk about the mangroves and the flora and fauna of the island. I was very satisfied with the full day of activities. It was a tour that made me want to participate again. (I have the images saved on my computer, but I couldn't upload them successfully.)

投稿を忘れておりだいぶたっておりますが・・・滝の近くまでカヌーで進み、その後、滝までトレッキング！滝で水遊び、周辺でおにぎりを食べました。午後から３つの洞窟を探検しました！トレッキングの道は思っていたよりハードめでしたが、その分、滝に到達したときは感激が大きかったです。洞窟は自然のままの洞窟で、それぞれ表情が違い、鍾乳石は、とても大きいものがあったり、天井に無数のつららがあったり、光を当てると粒子がきらきらしていました。ガイドさんがマングローブなど動植物や島のお話をしてくれたのも楽しかったです。１日盛りだくさんの内容で満足できました。また、参加したいと思えるツアーでした。（画像をパソコンに取り込んでありますがうまくアップロードできなかったです。）
