It was my first snorkeling experience at Barasu Island!!
Barasu Island, formed by rising coral, was mystical. The water was crystal clear and shiny without any waves, which was amazing! I was lucky enough to see a sea turtle, which was said to have a 30% chance of being spotted, and it made me feel fantastic. Our guide, Uk-kun, was very kind, and thanks to him and the sea, I was able to enjoy my last day in Ishigaki Island, which made me very happy! Next, I definitely want to participate in the canyoning and mangrove tour with PIPI! Thank you again!

珊瑚が盛り上がってできてるバラス島は神秘的でした。
波もなく海の中がすけすけでツルツル光って最高でした！30%の確率で観れるかもと言われてたウミガメも運良くみれて最高の気分でした。ガイドさんのうっくんもとっても優しい方で海とうっくんのおかげで石垣島ラストDAY迎えられてとても嬉しく思います！次はキャニオング・マングローブツアーもPIPIさんで是非ツアー参加したいと思いました！また宜しくお願いします！

The meeting place was in front of the vending machine at Uehara Port, and I confirmed this by phone the day before, which made it easy to find on the day of the tour. I was accompanied by Yume-san, who was friendly and very cute!
Unfortunately, we couldn't land on Barasu Island due to the sea conditions, but I hope to have a chance to try again someday. The snorkeling was incredibly beautiful! I heard that after a typhoon, the visibility is even clearer, and I was lucky to experience that!
The waves were higher than usual, making it a bit challenging to swim, but Yume-san was keeping a close eye on us, which made me feel safe while swimming. It was fun to touch a large sea cucumber and see a sea snake!
After a lunch break, we went for a mangrove canoeing experience. Yume-san taught us various interesting facts, which was educational! The canoe was for two people. I was worried about whether I could paddle properly, but surprisingly, I picked it up quickly!
The scenery was fantastically beautiful, and I encountered a hermit crab of a size I had never seen before. Overall, it was a lot of fun. At the end, there was a place to take a shower as well. I had the best experience on this tour with Yume-san. Her photography skills were also outstanding, which was impressive! Thank you very much!

バラス島は海の状況で足をついての上陸は出来ず残念でしたがまたいつかリベンジ出来たらと思います。

色々な知識を教えてくれて、勉強になりました‼︎
カヌーは2人乗り。ちゃんと漕げるか不安でしたが、意外と早く習得出来ました！
幻想的な綺麗な景色で、見た事ない大きさのヤドカリに出会えたり、とにかく楽しかったです。
終わりにシャワーも浴びれる所もありました。夢さんと一緒に同行させてもらえて最高のツアーを体験させて頂きました。

Due to the cancellation at Uehara Port, I entered Iriomote Island from Ohara Port, and they explained the transportation methods over the phone in advance. Kayaking while explaining about the plants and creatures, as well as trekking through the jungle, was enjoyable.
After the tour, there was a place to change and take a shower. I was also happy that they took several photos during the tour and sent them to me right away. On the way back, instead of being dropped off at the hotel, I was taken to Hoshizuna Beach, which I was able to enjoy as well.
The guide was very kind and interacted well with my children, making my 7 and 9-year-olds feel safe and have fun. When I mentioned that our plans for the next day were canceled due to the approaching typhoon, they recommended ways to spend our time. The wild boar yukhoe I had at the restaurant they suggested for the next evening was very delicious!
Thanks to them, it was a very enjoyable trip. If I have the opportunity to come back to Iriomote Island, I would like to ask for their services again. Thank you!
上原港欠航のために大原港から西表島に入りましたが、移動方法についても事前に電話で説明してくださいました。植物や生き物についての説明をしていただきながらのカヤック、ジャングルのトレッキングも楽しかったです。
ツアー後は着替えやシャワーができる場所がありました。
ツアー中に何度か写真を撮ってくださって、すぐに送っていただけたことも嬉しかったです。
帰りはホテルではなく星砂の浜に送っていただけたので、そちらも楽しむことができました。
ガイドさんはとても優しい方で、子供にも上手に声をかけていただき、7歳と9歳の子供も安心して楽しく過ごせました。台風接近の影響で翌日の予定がなくなり困っていることを伝えると、おすすめの過ごし方を教えてくださいました。翌日の夜に教えていただいたお店で食べたイノシシのユッケはとても美味しかったです！
おかげさまでとても楽しい旅行となりました。
また西表島に来る機会があればお願いしたいと思います。ありがとうございました！

It was the best experience to fully enjoy the great nature of Iriomote Island! Canoeing through the mangroves was very mystical and moving! The guide was entertaining, making the journey enjoyable. I also made wonderful memories riding a water buffalo cart across the sea on Yubu Island. I was very satisfied with all the photos taken.

A clear and calm night before the typhoon approached.
We were picked up by the hotel, and there were two other groups, making a total of six people including our guide, Naoto.
As soon as we entered the jungle after getting out of the car, we saw a coconut crab! This was a fantastic start. We saw so many coconut crabs, and I was very satisfied to see various creatures like the habu snake, crabs, and scorpions.
When we reached the coast, the starry sky was breathtaking! This was truly moving!
Naoto's guidance was enjoyable, and we had a wonderful experience.

The weather was great, and I thoroughly enjoyed canoeing and trekking. While canoeing through the mangroves of Iriomote Island, I was able to enjoy the experience while listening to the guide's detailed explanations. The trekking was quite steep, with rocks and tree roots making it slippery, but with the guide's help, I was able to safely make it to the waterfall. The waterfall was also magnificent. During both the canoeing and trekking, we spotted some rare creatures, and the explanations made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. I believe the guide was very reliable. It's not a problem if you've never been canoeing before. The guide mentioned that towards the end, their arms get tired and feel swollen, but I personally didn't feel that way. You can see the mangrove forest up close and even touch it.

We participated as a family of four with elementary school children and toddlers. Our tour guide, Macchan, was very kind, and the children really warmed up to him. I was worried about whether the kids would be able to swim, but Macchan helped them, allowing us to enjoy snorkeling with peace of mind. On Yufu Island, we were able to interact with the water buffalo, which was a delightful experience. I had experienced the sunset before, so this time I chose the sunrise canoe. They picked me up at the hotel, and during the 20-minute drive to the port, I encountered what seemed to be wild boars and Ryukyu scops owls, and on the way back, I saw a white-browed crake.
When we arrived at the port in the still dim light, there were many clouds and thunder could be heard in the distance, but by the time we received the briefing and set off, the clouds began to turn red, and gradually the morning glow became visible.

I participated in a mangrove kayak tour and a visit to Yubu Island!
The mangroves were surrounded by trees on both sides, making the waterways narrow, which gave a thrilling sense of adventure and was really enjoyable.
I got stuck in the mangroves a few times, but our guide, Rui, kindly helped me out and provided just the right amount of advice.

The first thing that caught my eye was the strong mangrove forest with its deeply rooted trees. The countless roots stretching out from the mud looked like living sculptures, and I felt the resilience of nature. As I paddled along the water's surface, branches and leaves spread out on both sides, making it feel like I was rowing through a green tunnel. The breeze was gentle, and every time I looked up at the sky, the bright blue and white clouds were stunning.
The guide was really kind, and their explanations were clear and interesting! They talked about the nature and wildlife of Iriomote Island in a fun way, providing not just beautiful scenery but also plenty of learning opportunities. I felt a sense of security, which allowed me to relax and enjoy canoeing even as a first-timer.
As I glided over the calm water, I was enveloped in a feeling of "time flowing slowly," something I can't experience in my daily life, and I felt truly refreshed. Being healed by the energy of nature and encountering views that can only be seen here was a truly special experience.
The great nature of Iriomote Island was amazing! I want to go again! ^_^
最初に目に飛び込んできたのは、力強く根を張ったマングローブの森。泥の中から無数に伸びる根っこはまるで生きている彫刻みたいで、自然のたくましさを感じました。水面を進んでいくと、両脇から覆いかぶさるように枝葉が広がって、まるで緑のトンネルの中を漕いでいるみたい。風も穏やかで、時々空を見上げると真っ青な空と白い雲が映えて最高でした。
ガイドさんも本当に親切で、説明が分かりやすくておもしろい！西表島の自然や生き物のことを楽しく話してくれて、景色だけじゃなく学びもいっぱいありました。安心感もあって、初めてでもリラックスしてカヌーを楽しめました。
静かな水面をすべるように進んでいくと、普段の生活では味わえない“時間がゆっくり流れる感覚”に包まれて、心からリフレッシュできました。自然のエネルギーに癒されながら、ここでしか見られない景色に出会えたのは本当に特別な体験。
西表島の大自然、最高でした！また行きたいです^_^

In the morning, I went snorkeling, and in the afternoon, I did mangrove kayaking. The snorkeling was guided kindly by Yume, and I was very satisfied to land on Barasu Island! She was a very beautiful guide! In the afternoon, we went mangrove kayaking! I learned a lot about the nature of Iriomote Island and was able to see the mangroves up close! It was amazing!
午前中はシュノーケル、午後はマングローブカヤックをしました。シュノーケルはユメさんに優しくガイドいただきバラス島にも上陸でき大満足でした！とっても美人なガイドさんでした！
午後はマングローブカヤックでした！西表島の自然のことをたくさん教えていただき、マングローブを間近で見ることができました!最高でした！
