The cloudy sky had some gaps where stars were finally visible here and there. I had planned to see the Milky Way clearly, but it ended up being just a glimpse in my mind's eye. Also, it might be difficult due to the operation of the boat, but since we were offshore within the range of city lights, it seems that seeing the stars beautifully is quite challenging.

曇り空でところどころの雲の切れ間からようやく星がちらほら。
がっつり天の川を見るつもりだったので、心の目で見る程度になってしまいました。
と、船の運行上難しいのかもしれませんが、街の明かりが届く範囲の沖なので、やはりきれいに星を見るのは難しいのかなぁ。

Since it was after the typhoon, I was unsure whether to cancel, but I decided to participate since I had the chance. I was able to see some things, but it was a bit disappointing.

It was disappointing that there was no consideration for my family, who have difficulty walking and move slowly. There were no available seats, so we couldn't sit together.

家族が足が悪く、歩くのが遅かったのだが、そこに配慮がなく残念だった。
座席が余ってなくて、連れ同士で並んで座ることができなかった。

I could see the Milky Way and some stars, but I wish I could have gone further out to a place where the light from the land wouldn't reach, or at least to a spot with less light pollution.

天の川も見えて、それなりに星は見えたのですが、もっと沖に出て陸地の光が届かないところまでとはいかなくても、もっと影響が少ないところまで出て欲しかったな、という感じです。

I couldn't forget the starry sky I saw during my last visit to Ishigaki Island, so for my second trip, I searched online to see that beautiful starry sky again and booked this starry sky cruise. I was really looking forward to the stars, but unfortunately, a typhoon was approaching, which made me anxious.

The day before, a female staff member called to confirm the meeting time, and I asked if it was still okay with the typhoon approaching. She reassured me, saying, "Even though a typhoon is approaching, it's in Naha, so Ishigaki is fine." I felt relieved as the day arrived.

As the evening approached, the wind started to pick up, and although it wasn't raining, there were some clouds, making me worry about whether we would be able to see the stars. When it was time to gather, I went to the store, and everything went smoothly for departure. As amateurs, we couldn't see anything at the port, but I hoped we would be able to see the stars once we set sail.

However, after moving for a while, we found that there were many Japan Coast Guard boats due to the approaching typhoon, and since we hadn't gone far from the port, the island's lights were still visible, and we could only see about three stars. The sky looked no different from what we could see from the island, and anyone with experience would know that you wouldn't be able to see stars just by going out to sea.

Since we couldn't see any stars at all, the guide seemed to be stalling with trivial chatter. I felt that 7,000 yen was way too expensive for this, and it was just frustrating. I heard that if it wasn't raining, the cruise wouldn't be canceled. If the weather looks bad, I recommend canceling early without hesitation.

The boat was impressive, so it might be worth it if the weather is good. Unfortunately, my last night in Ishigaki Island was ruined.

前回石垣島に来た時に見た星空が忘れられず、今回2回目の石垣島旅行でもう一度あの満点の星空が見たくてネットで探し、こちらの星空クルーズを予約しました。
1番楽しみにしていた星空でしたがあいにく台風が近づいており不安に思っていました。
前日スタッフの女性から集合時間等の確認の電話が入ったので、台風が近づいていますが大丈夫ですか？と伺った所、 「台風が近づいているといっても那覇の方なので石垣は大丈夫ですよ」との事。安心して当日を迎えました。
夕方につれて風が強くなってきており、雨は降ってなかったものの少々雲があり、星が見えるのか心配していました。
集合時間になり店舗へ伺うと何事もなく出発になりました。こちらも素人の為港では全く見えないけれど出航すれば見えるのかと思い期待して船に乗り込みました。
しかし、しばらく動いたものの台風前で海上保安庁の船も多く海上に出ており、港からもさほど離れていない為島の光もあり、3つ程しか星は見えませんでした。
島から見る空と全然変わらず、経験者であれば海に出た所で星が見えない事など分かりきっているはずです。
全く星が見えないのでガイドの方は時間稼ぎなのかどうでもいい雑談ばかり。これで7000円は高すぎてただただ腹立たしかったです。
聞くと雨が降らないと中止にならないとの事。天気が悪そうであれば迷わず早めのキャンセルをオススメします。
船は立派だったので天気が良ければ良いのかもしれません。

The night sky in Ishigaki Island was as beautiful as I had imagined. However, there were many moments when the strong night wind made it difficult to hear the guide's voice. Additionally, we were encouraged to hold up our mobile apps, but since everyone around was holding up their screens, the brightness of the screens created an atmosphere that was hard to describe.

石垣島の夜空は思っていた通りキレイでした。ただ、夜風が強くガイドさんの声が聞こえにくシーンが多かったです。
また、携帯アプリを掲げてみるよう促されましたが、

I was able to see many stars that are not visible in the city, making it feel like I was in a planetarium. The guide had a wealth of knowledge about the stars, which was fascinating. They also shared stories about constellations related to Greek mythology, which could spark an interest in constellations. The weather can be unpredictable, but it was clear, so it was a lot of fun! The boat doesn't sway much, so I don't think there's a worry about seasickness. The meeting point is a bit hard to find, so I recommend arriving early. If you come to Ishigaki Island, definitely try this experience at least once!

都会では見られない星がたくさん見えてプラネタリウムにいるようでした。ガイドしてくれた方が星の知識が豊富で面白かったです。ギリシャ神話に絡めた星座の話なども聞けるので、星座に興味を持つキッカケになりそうです。天候に左右されやすいですが、晴れたのでとても楽しいかったです！船はあまり揺れないので、船酔いする心配もないと思います。集合場所が若干わかりづらいので早めに着いておくといいと思いました。石垣島に来たら是非1度体験して見てください。

I was looking forward to seeing how many stars would be visible in the perfect night sky, and the day finally arrived. The weather was good with very few clouds, but the full moon was so bright that I couldn't see as many stars as I had imagined. However, it was definitely more beautiful than what I usually see at home, and the staff member explained everything very thoroughly, which was great. They used something like a pointer to indicate the stars, but it was a bit hard to see. Even so, it was a satisfying experience overall! Thank you for a wonderful time!

どれだけ満点の星空が見えるのだろうと楽しみに思って当日を迎えました。天気は良く雲もすごく少ない日だったのですが、満月がとても明るく想像してたほどは星は見えませんでした。でも地元で見るよりもやっぱりきれいで、お姉さんも丁寧に説明してくれたのでとても良かったです。ポインターのようなもの？で星を指して教えてくれたのですがそれが少し見づらかったですが、それを差し引いても満足できる内容でした！楽しい時間をありがとうございました！

We participated on a weekday before Golden Week, just the two of us, mother and daughter. We were able to see coral reefs and fish, and we even encountered a sea turtle, which made my mother very happy and created wonderful memories.

ゴールデンウィーク前の平日に、母娘で参加しました。サンゴ礁や魚を見つけることができましたし、ウミガメにも遭遇し、母も喜んでいていい思い出になりました。

The weather was clear, and I thought it would be a perfect night for stargazing, but the bright full moon made it difficult to see the stars...!

The boat was not too big, and since there were seats on the first and second floors, I chose a seat on the second floor. After departing, we stopped offshore, and the guide began his narration. I was able to hear many interesting stories about constellations, the islands, and some fun trivia. In the second half of the cruise, there was a live performance of the sanshin, and I enjoyed a romantic and peaceful time with the sound of the waves and the starry sky.

Although it was a short time, it was a satisfying cruise without any boredom. The second-floor seats felt a bit chilly, so I recommend bringing a light jacket even in summer.

Also, since the boat was moving, it might be difficult to take photos with a slow shutter speed. Of course, nothing came out well on my smartphone... haha.

The price felt a bit high for the duration, but the night cruise with hotel pickup from the city center is recommended since it's hard to do on your own! By the way, my hotel was in Kawahira, so there was no pickup for me. Tears.

天気は晴れて、絶好の星空日和と思いきや、満月の輝きに恵まれてしまい、満点の星空とはいきませんでした…！

船は大きすぎず、一階と二階があったので二階の席を選びました。出発してしばらくして、沖の方で停船してお兄さんの案内が始まります。
星座のお話、島のお話、ちょっとした豆知識など、面白い話をたくさん聞くことができました。クルーズの後半は三線の生演奏があり、波の音と星空とロマンチックで穏やかな時間を過ごすことができました。

短い時間でしたが、退屈することもなく満足なクルーズでした。二階席は風が少し冷たく感じるので、夏でも薄手の上着を持っていくことをお勧めします。

また、船が動くのでシャッタースピードを落とした撮影は難しいかも。もちろんスマホにも何も映りませんでした…笑

時間の割にお値段は高く感じますが、市街地ホテル送迎ありのナイトクルーズは自力では難しいのでおススメです！
ちなみに、私のホテルは川平の方でしたので送迎はありませんでした。涙

The friendly and cheerful staff guided us, and once we boarded the cruise, we were offered a complimentary drink (alcohol or juice). It was a clear night with few clouds, perfect for a cruise, but sadly, the bright moon made it impossible to see the Milky Way or small stars. However, the staff explained the constellations we could observe, including first-magnitude stars, and shared Greek myths related to them, which was very satisfying. The Orion beer enjoyed on board was fantastic. I would love to try this again! I recommend checking the weather and moon information before you go.

明るく気さくなスタッフさんが引率してくださり、クルーズに乗り込むとワンドリンク(アルコールやジュース)いただけました。晴れていて、雲も少なく、クルーズには最適な夜でしたが、悲しいことに月が明るくて天の川など小さな星は見えませんでした。ですが、スタッフの方から、一等星など観察できる星座や、星座にまつわるギリシャ神話など説明していただき、満足いく内容でした。船上で飲むオリオンビールは最高でした。また再チャレンジしたいと思います！行かれる方は、天気はもちろん、月の情報を確認していくことをお勧めします。

I was expecting to see very clear and beautiful coral reefs and fish, so... I guess this is about what I expected. Kabira Bay was very beautiful, so just looking at it was fine. But the kids were happy.

とてもクリアで綺麗なさんご礁や魚を見れることを期待していたので、、、まあこんなもんかなという感じです。川平湾はとても綺麗でしたので、普通にみるだけでいいかな。でも子どもは喜んでました。

At first, I was anxious about what it would be like, but my wife and I were moved and glad we came. The timing was just right, about an hour long.

I'm glad I could join even in the rain, but it was a harsh reality to see so much garbage floating in the sea while looking at the beautiful coral...

極寒、雨の中参加しました

雨の中でも参加出来て良かったですが、海にゴミが沢山浮いていて綺麗な珊瑚を見ながら凄く現実でした、、、

On a cold day, it would be good for people who can't swim or the elderly. Please be careful as the way the sea looks and its colors change on bad weather days. The scenery from the sea changes, and it's quite charming.

This was our first time visiting Ishigaki Island as a couple, and we were able to enjoy the beautiful sea and observe the fish. The captain's stories about Ishigaki Island were very unique and fantastic.

初めて夫婦で石垣島にきましたが、綺麗な海と魚の観賞が出来るとともに、船長さんの石垣島にまつわるお話がとてもユニークで最高でした。

I used this service alone. It was January, a cold season, and a weekday, but there were still tourists from the mainland and China. The beautiful view of the sea is thanks to the coral, and I was able to see the bright blue coral as shown in the photos. It's enjoyable to see the white coral remains covering the beach, but seeing live coral is also a delight. There are many unique fish that can be easily spotted in Ishigaki Island, which adds to the fun. The captain (there is only one crew member) takes you to points where you can see the coral based on the day's conditions, which is reassuring. I recommend this for those interested in the blue sea.

一人で利用しました。1月で寒い時期・かつ平日でしたが、それでも本土や中国からの観光客が利用していました。海がきれいに見えるのはやはりサンゴのおかげで、写真の様な真っ青なサンゴを見ることができました。海岸を埋め尽くす白いサンゴの死骸（？）を見るのも楽しいのですが、生きてるサンゴを見るのもまた楽しいですね。石垣島ならではのお魚がたくさん、かつ簡単に見えるのも楽しいです。船長さん（乗組員は1人ですが）がその日の状況に応じてサンゴの見えるポイントに連れて行ってくれるのも頼もしいです。青い海、に興味を持った方にお勧めです。

I arrived alone in Ishigaki Island during some free time, and since I often see pictures of Kabira Bay in guidebooks, I decided to check it out right away. The staff at the reception were friendly, and the boats depart every 15 minutes. The explanations from the captain, who served as the guide, were easy to understand. Of course, the underwater scenery was a treasure trove of coral reefs and tropical fish. After about a 30-minute cruise, I want to come back next time with family or friends.

たまたま空いた時間を利用して石垣島に1人で到着、ガイドブックでよく見る写真が川平湾でしたので、早速行ってみることにしました。
受付の方達は親切、船は15分おきに出港、ガイド役の船長さんの説明も解りやすい。
もちろん海の中は、サンゴ礁や熱帯魚の宝庫でした。
約30分の遊覧、今度は家族や仲間同伴で来たいと思います。

Ishigaki Island has a beautiful starry sky that can be enjoyed without taking a boat, and the explanations of the many stars were very easy to understand and enjoyable.

石垣島は船に乗らなくても、十分綺麗な星空が見られるが、たくさんの星の解説がとても分かりやすく楽しかった。

We visited three points:
- Anemone roots: Clownfish and colorful fish
- Branch coral: Bleached coral and living coral (beautifully glowing blue)
- Rocky areas: Sleeping turtles and swimming turtles

At each point, the boat's direction was changed frequently so that everyone could see easily while explanations were given. It was hard to hear the voice over the engine noise, but the underwater scenery was beautiful.

3つのポイントを回ってもらえました。
・イソギンチャクの根： カクレクマノミや色鮮やかな魚たち
・枝サンゴ：白化してしまったサンゴ、生きているサンゴ(青色に光ってきれい)
・岩場：寝るカメ、泳ぐカメ
それぞれのポイントでどの席でも見えやすいよう船の向きをぐるぐる変えながら、説明してもらえます。エンジン音で声は聞きづらかったですが、海中はきれいでした。

You can observe various fish and corals from the bottom of the boat. We had a one-year-old child with us, and they were peering in with great interest. Unlike snorkeling, it's great that people of all ages, from children to the elderly, can easily participate!

船底から様々な魚と珊瑚を観察出来ます。1歳の子供も一緒でしたが興味深く覗き込んでいました。シュノーケリングと違い子供からお年寄りまで気軽に参加出来るのもgood!

I was lucky to participate on a clear night. We went about 10 minutes offshore from the port, stopped the boat, and observed the stars. We could see stars just above the horizon, including the Southern Cross. The staff explained the constellations, which was very informative. The boarding location is close to the 730 intersection, making access smooth. The boat is new and very comfortable. Sitting on the front bench and feeling the breeze while cruising is very pleasant. It became an unforgettable experience in Ishigaki Island.

晴れた日の夜に参加することができラッキーでした。港から10分程度沖に出て、船を止め、そこで星を観察しました。水平線すれすれの星まで見れ、南十字星も見れました。スタッフの方が星座について説明してくださり、とてもよくわかりました。乗船場所も730交差点から近く、スムースにアクセスできます。船は新しくとても快適。先端のベンチに座って風を受けながらクルーズするととても気持ち良いです。石垣島での忘れられない体験になりました。

Even though I can't swim, I was able to snorkel thanks to the support I received. I'm grateful to the staff. The phantom island and the beautiful underwater scenery provided such a wonderful experience at my age. It was truly moving.

That said, the situation was fantastic, and on a clear day, there should be a stunning starry sky! If the weather forecast predicts clear skies, I would definitely recommend it!!

Overall, it was just a tour that made me feel sleepy and cold.

スタッフさんが質問を促してたのですが、もっと面白い話や石垣ならではのうんちくや、星にまつわる話などを聞きたかったです。。ただただ時間稼ぎをしているようでした。
話がつまらなかった。。
星が見えないなら見えないならではの、
沖縄や離島の昔話や、星の面白い話などを自ら準備して欲しかっです。
5000円もかかってるので。。

とにかく眠く寒いだけのツアーだった。。
