■In the kintsugi chopstick rest experience, two ceramic pieces are joined together using the kintsugi technique and finished into a unique chopstick rest.
■In the kintsugi strap-making experience, broken ceramic fragments are repaired with the kintsugi method and crafted into an original strap.
Choose your favorite design and shape from a selection of ceramic fragments. You can also freely choose a gold or silver finish, making it easy to create a piece that reflects your personal style.
This step involves applying adhesive to the cracks of your selected piece and aligning the shape.
Decorate the cracks using gold (brass) or silver (tin) powder, breathing new life into the broken pieces. It's a moment to let your personal artistic expression shine.
In the final stage, you will refine and polish your piece, enhancing the details.
With guidance from the instructor, you’ll bring out the full beauty of your work.
Create a one-of-a-kind handcrafted item that beautifully blends traditional and modern design.
