Okinawa World is a popular attraction showcasing Okinawa’s nature and culture. Highlights include Gyokusendo Cave, the Ryukyu Kingdom Castle Town, craft experiences, the Habu Museum Park, and the lively Super Eisa performance held daily.
◆ Okinawa Peace Memorial Park & Cornerstone of Peace (Stay: approx.60 min)
The Cornerstone of Peace, built in 1995 on Mabuni Hill, lists the names of all who died in the Battle of Okinawa regardless of nationality or status. It stands as a symbol of Okinawa’s message of peace.
Admission to the Peace Memorial Museum and Memorial Hall requires an additional fee.
◆Himeyuri Monument & Yubido (Lunch) (Stay: approx. 80 min)
Himeyuri Monument honors 211 female students and 16 staff members who lost their lives during the Battle of Okinawa. After visiting, enjoy lunch at Restaurant Yubido, known for its delicious sata andagi (Okinawan doughnuts). The Himeyuri Peace Museum is also available to visit (additional fee).
◆ iias Okinawa Toyosaki (Stay: approx. 80 min)
iias Okinawa Toyosaki is Japan’s southernmost shopping center with over 130 shops. Enjoy attractions, shopping, or a relaxing stroll with ocean views.
Admission to some attractions requires an additional fee.
