This time, my parents were traveling to Osaka, so I searched for a bus tour and signed up for this lunch plan. When I heard the story, they went to Kiyomizu Temple to make it in time for the departure, but there was no bus. They hurriedly called the office and were told that the bus was heading to Kinkaku-ji, so they had to take a taxi. When I asked other guests, they said that the bus left without confirming attendance 10 or 15 minutes before the meeting time.

I was really disappointed to hear that, especially since we were looking forward to it.

For future reference, it would be better to confirm attendance. This was the first time something like this happened, and it was especially frustrating since they weren't late. I can imagine they felt anxious without the bus.

今回、両親が大阪旅行するということで、バスツアーを捜してこちらの昼食つきプランを申し込みました。話を聞いたところ、清水寺で出発時間に間に合うように行ったのにバスがなかった、とあわてて事務所に電話すると金閣寺に向かってるから追いかけてくれ、と両親はタクシーを拾い向かったと云いました。ほかの客に聞いたところ、集合時間の１０分か１５分前に点呼確認もしないで出発したといいました。
せっかく楽しみにしてこちらもそんなことになったのかと思ったら大変だったし私も残念でした。

今後のためにも点呼はした方がいいです。そんなこと初めてです。それも時間に遅れていったわけではないのに。バスがなくて不安だったと思います。

I used the service on September 8. I was the only woman… the rest were mostly families or friends, and almost all were from overseas. I felt really lonely, but the tour guide talked to me, so I didn’t feel too lonely. I was very satisfied because we could visit all the must-see spots in Kyoto in one go. The tour itself involves taking a bus to the destination, and then everyone can explore freely, as long as they return by the bus departure time, so I think it's perfect for those who don’t want to travel in large groups. It was hot, and I got a bit exhausted, but I had a very fulfilling time. The tour guide also gave helpful advice on how to visit efficiently and see great places. If I go to Kyoto again, I would like to use this service. Next time, I’ll bring someone with me!

9月8日に利用しました。女1人は私だけ…あとは家族連れか友達とかほぼ海外の方で占めていました。すっごく心細かったのですが添乗員さんが話しかけて下さってあまり寂しい思いはしませんでした。京都と言えば！の所を一気に周れるので大満足でした。ツアー自体は目的地までバスで行って、あとは各々好きに行動してバスの出発時刻までには戻ってきて下さいというシステムなので大人数で行動するのが嫌だという方にもぴったりだと思います。暑さもあり、バテてしまいましたがとても充実した時間を過ごす事ができました。添乗員さんもこういう風に行くと効率がよくいい場所見れますよとアドバイス下さったので助かりました。また京都行くことあれば利用したいです。今度は誰かを連れて行きます笑

I was able to sightsee efficiently in a short amount of time, and I'm glad I participated. I thought it would have been nice to have more stops, but the convenience of not having to get off the bus was also a plus, so I recommend it.

短時間で効率的に観光出来、参加して良かったです。立ち寄り場所があればとも思いましたが、バスから降りない楽さもあり、おススメです。

It was enjoyable to view the condensed streets of the brand district and temple town from the second floor. The weather was favorable, and the easy-to-understand guide was also appreciated. Riding the elevated bus on the highway was a first-time experience for me. Next time, I would like to explore on foot.

ブランド街、寺町、凝縮された街並みが二階から眺められ楽しかったです、天候に恵まれ、解りやすいガイドも好感、高速道路二階バスははじめての経験、この次は歩いて周りたいです。

I used the service on August 2nd. Despite the scorching heat of 38 degrees in Kyoto, thanks to the staff, Takki (the handsome Takigawa) and the beautiful and kind Sakaguchi, I had a very comfortable time.

We were able to visit multiple places in a short time, and during the bus rides, we received enjoyable and informative explanations. When walking, they carefully checked on the delayed tour participants, and both Takki and Sakaguchi went back and forth several times, kindly checking in on everyone. I was truly moved by this genuine "omotenashi" (hospitality)!

I definitely want to use this service again. I am sincerely grateful to the wonderful staff.

８月２日に利用。京都は３８度の猛暑の中、スタッフのタッキーことイケメン滝川さんと、美人で優しい坂口さんのおかげで、とても快適な時間を過ごせました。
短時間で何箇所も回れ、バス移動の間には楽しく参考になる解説をしてもらえます。徒歩移動の際は、遅れたツアー客の様子をきちんと確認し、タッキーさんも坂口さんも何回も前後を行き来して優しく声をかけてくださいました。これこそ本物の「おもてなし」だと感激しました！
是非、また利用したいと思います。
本当にお世話になりました。素晴らしいスタッフさん方に、心より感謝しております。

When traveling individually, I was able to tour the area according to the planned schedule, which would be difficult to do in just one day. I chose a meal plan at Kiyomizu-dera, but I wished I had a bit more time to eat leisurely. The meal was tofu cuisine and very delicious, but it was "chilled tofu" due to the season. Personally, I would have preferred hot tofu, so that was a bit disappointing. Overall, I was very satisfied and glad to have participated.

個人で移動すると、一日では周りきれない工程を予定どおりのスケジュールで観光できました。
清水寺で食事付きのプランにしたのですが、もう少しゆっくり食べる時間が欲しかったです。食事は、豆腐料理でとても美味しかったのですが、季節柄『冷やし豆腐』でした。個人的には湯豆腐が良かったので、それだけが少し残念でした。
全体的には非常に満足で、参加して良かったです。

I'm really glad I reserved this bus for my summer vacation trip from Hokkaido on a very hot day in August. If we had traveled on our own, it would have taken a long time to reach our destinations, and I don't think we could have visited all the places we wanted to in one day. Also, it was helpful to be able to sit on an air-conditioned bus during the hot weather. If we had used the subway or city buses, not being able to sit would have made us even more tired. The guide was also very kind, and we had a great time. Thanks to this, my child and I were able to enjoy a wonderful time together. Thank you!

北海道から夏休みの旅行にと、8月の大変暑い日に行ったので、こちらのバスを予約しておいて本当に良かったです。
自分たちで回っても目的地に着くまで時間がかかって、見たいところを一日で回ることはできなかったと思います。
また、暑かったので移動中にエアコンが効いているバスに必ず座れる、というのも助かりました。
地下鉄や市営のバスで移動していたら、座れなかったら疲れが倍増していたと思います。
ガイドさんもとても親切で、楽しかったです。
おかげで親子で楽しい時間を過ごせました。

It is too harsh to research transportation and move around in the hot summer of Kyoto. However, with a bus tour, you can take a break and cool off in the air conditioning in between. It was a great help for someone like me who lives in the northern region.

自ら交通手段を調べて動くには、暑い夏の京都は過酷過ぎます。
しかし、バスツアーなら合間に冷房で涼みながら座って休む事ができます。
北の地域に住む私にとって、助かりました。

I wanted to tour Kyoto during Obon, but I thought there would be traffic and full parking lots with my car, so I signed up for this tour. We traveled as a family of five, and it was fantastic to smoothly visit Kyoto's iconic spots like Fushimi Inari, Kiyomizu Temple, Kinkaku-ji, and Arashiyama. I don't think we could have covered all that in one day with our car.

With the bus tour, I was a bit concerned about the departure time, but I think the schedule allowed us to visit the sites almost optimally. The tour guide and the driver were friendly, making it a fun trip.

お盆に京都巡りをしたかったのですが、マイカーでは、駐車場と道路が渋滞と満車であると思い、このツアーを申し込みました。
家族5人で巡りましたが、京都の代表的な伏見稲荷、清水寺、金閣寺、嵐山をスムーズに巡る事が出来て最高でした。マイカーでは、まず1日で巡れてないと思います。
バスツアーでは、出発時間が少し気にはなる所ですが、タイムスケジュールもほぼ最適に参拝出来たと思います。

The time for the tour was well allocated, so I was able to relax. There were many foreign visitors, which also helped me practice my English.

It had been about 30 years since my middle school graduation trip, and I came to Kyoto again to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We had a full itinerary of places we wanted to visit, and we enjoyed a leisurely sightseeing experience together as a couple, creating wonderful memories of our trip to Kyoto. The guides were very friendly, checking in on everyone in the tour and engaging in conversation, which was great. The driver also kindly said, "Have a good time" and "Welcome back," making our sightseeing experience very pleasant.

中学の卒業旅行以来約30年ぶりの京都で、また結婚30年記念で京都に来ました。
行きたかった所満載で、夫婦でのんびりと観光させていただき、とても良い京都旅行の思い出になりました。
ガイドさん達もツアーの皆さんに所々で気にかけ、話しかけたりと、とても気さくな感じで良かったです。運転手さんも『いってらっしゃいか。お帰りなさい。』と声かけしてくれて心地よく観光出来ました。

I was foolish to sign up for the open-deck bus during an incredibly hot summer. They provided us with cooling patches, but that wasn't nearly enough to cope with the heat, and I couldn't hear any of the sightseeing information. As a result, the bus was nearly empty. I think spring or autumn would be a better time to participate.

とんでもなく暑い夏に、オープンデッキバスに申し込んだ私がバカでした。冷えピタを支給されましたが、そんなもんじゃ足りない位暑くて観光の案内なんて全く耳には入ってきませんでしたね。だからバスもガラガラでした。参加するなら春か秋が良いかと思います。

This bus didn't mention anywhere that there was no first-floor seating! On a day when the maximum temperature was forecasted to be 37 degrees, riding on the second-floor open deck bus was tough! I won't ride again on such a hot day.

However, despite that, the guide kept talking for an hour, incorporating recent topics and doing their best. The driver also helped by stopping in the shade of trees or buildings while waiting at traffic signals, which was a relief.

I thought I wouldn't be able to last if it didn't end in an hour.

I participated in the course starting at 18:20 on August 3rd. I was worried about the heat since it had been extremely hot during the day, but it was comfortable. I apologize for having the whole place to ourselves as a family of four, but we were able to sit comfortably and listen to the guide's stories well, which was great. My family was also satisfied.

昼間は猛暑続きだったので暑さが心配でしたが快適でした。
私達家族4人の貸し切りで申し訳なかったですが、席もゆったり座れて、ガイドさんのお話もしっかり聞けて良かったです。

The double-decker bus with mist spraying and no roof allowed for great views from both sides, and the attentive guide made it the best experience. This time, the weather was so nice that I even got sunburned, but I think riding in the rain would also make for good memories. If you take this before sightseeing in Osaka, it might help you avoid getting lost in various ways.

二階建てバスで、ミスト噴射で、屋根が無いから反対側もよく見えて、丁寧なガイドさんが付いて、最高でした。今回は良い天気過ぎて日焼けする程でしたが、雨に濡れなが廻るのも良い思い出になると思います。
大阪観光の前にコレに乗れば、色々な意味で迷わなくていいかも、です。

I was looking forward to it, but unfortunately, due to the rain, I couldn't experience the open deck, which was disappointing. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my time in Osaka in a short period. Next time, I would like to ride again on a sunny day.

This tour was very good. It's a full day of Kyoto sightseeing so you don't spend alot of time at each site but we highly recommend. It's a great chance to see/learn about some Kyoto highlights in less time than if you tried to do it on your own. Our tour guide Lanny was great.

I participated in a course with lunch included from Osaka, visiting Fushimi Inari Taisha, Kiyomizu-dera, Kinkaku-ji, and Arashiyama. The outside temperature that day was 32°C. Since I was traveling with my elderly mother, I thought it was a good plan to efficiently tour the sights while comfortably riding on the bus.

I was surprised that at first, we were the only Japanese people on the bus... The tour guide initially explained in English and later in Japanese. Once we arrived in Kyoto, it was quite challenging to find other Japanese people; almost everyone around us was a foreign tourist. I wondered what country we had come to! There were conversations in Chinese, Korean, English, and Spanish?!

I had heard in recent news that Kyoto was becoming quite crowded, but I didn't expect it to be to this extent. It was a bit too much, and I felt it detracted from enjoying the atmosphere of Kyoto. However, I was impressed by how the bus guides were proficient in English and provided additional guides for those who didn't understand English, ensuring everyone was well taken care of. Overall, it was a fairly enjoyable trip.

伏見稲荷大社　清水寺　金閣寺　嵐山　お昼ごはん付コースで大阪から参加しました。
その日は外気温が32℃。
高齢の母と二人旅でしたので、効率よく　バスの中では快適に　観光地を巡るには良い企画だと思いました。　
びっくりしたのが、最初　日本人は私達二人だけ…バスの添乗員さんも最初は英語で後から日本語で説明をされていました。
京都へ着いたら、日本人を探すのが大変なくらい周りは　ほとんど海外の観光客。私達はいったい何処の国に来たのかしら？!と思うくらい。
中国語　韓国語　英語　スペイン語？！が飛び交っている
最近のNEWSでは京都が大変なことになっていることは知っておりましたが、ここまでとは…
ちょっと多すぎて　京都の風情を堪能する感じではなかったのが残念でした
しかしながら　バスの添乗員さんたちは　英語も堪能で英語がわからない国の方達には、別の添乗員さんをつけたりと　しっかりと対応していらっしゃるなぁと感心しておりました。
まずまず　楽しい旅行でした

It was very hot during this time, but I enjoyed it enough. The guide's explanations were easy to understand, and there was a bit of thrill when we were driving on the highway. A hat and long sleeves are essential for visiting during this season.

時期的にとても暑かったのですが、十分楽しめました。ガイドさんの話もよくわかり、高速を走るときはちょっとスリルがありました。この時期行くには、ぼうしと長袖が必須です。

Our family stayed in Osaka for 4 days and we thought that this time being the end spring/start of summer season, we are definitely going to include Kyoto as part of our Japanese adventure.

We booked the Kyoto full day tour with Veltra and was able to meet with Jun at the designated meeting point. The meeting point was conveniently situated a 10 minutes walk from where we stayed at Hilton Osaka.

Jun was very well versed in the English language and explained our itinerary and places of interest clearly. We were given sufficient time at each places of interest to explore the place and took pictures.

However, because summer was upon us, there were a lot of people at the tourist attractions. Be prepared to jostle your way at the Fushimi Inari Taisha Shinto Shrin and the Bamboo Forest.

A lot of walking and guests with mobility difficulty may find this tour a bit demanding. Also not advisable for families with young children. We were a family of 4 with 2 teenage kids and even then, all four of us were tired out by the end of the day.

But hey, it was a worth day spent in Kyoto going to all the touristy places. We even thought perhaps next time we might explore Kyoto on our own at a slower pace.

For lunch, I initially booked a vegetarian option for our family as we are muslims and was pleasantly surprised that a halal lunch option was available. The place we went for lunch had a muslim friendly restaurant and the souvenir shop even had a corner selling halal certified souveniers.

At the end of the day, our family thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to Kyoto and would definitely try out other tours with Veltra should we go to Japan again.

We had a wonderful time and Ms. Hiro was a fantastic guide. She was full of good comments about each attraction and was a warm and friendly host. We walked almost 20,000 steps that day and enjoyed the sights. Having some built in free time let my colleague shop and experience more of the attractions.

My siblings came from Tokyo and Chiba for my niece's wedding, and they wanted to do some sightseeing in Osaka. After considering various options, we decided on a two-story open-deck bus!

The weather was great, and riding the bus while enjoying the mist shower was very pleasant. We quickly passed by Midosuji, Shitennoji, Tsutenkaku, and Abeno Harukas in just an hour.

My siblings expressed their gratitude, saying they created wonderful memories. I've lived in Osaka for over 30 years, but this was my first time doing city sightseeing. The views from the deck of the double-decker bus felt very fresh everywhere we looked.

I heard that the scenery changes with the four seasons—spring, summer, autumn, and winter—so I thought it would be nice to see Osaka in the autumn!

天気も良く、ミストシャワーを浴びながら走るバスは心地良く、御堂筋や四天王寺、通天閣、アベノハルカスなど、あっという間の1時間でした^_^

兄弟からは、とてもいい思い出ができたと感謝の言葉を頂きました。
私自身も大阪に30年余り住んでいますが、市内観光は初めてでした^_^
２階建バスのデッキからの市内の景色は、どこもとても新鮮に感じました^_^

春、夏、秋、冬の四季によっても違う景色か見れるとの事なので、秋の大阪を見てみたいなと思いました^_^

About 80% of the users were older adults. There were more users than I expected. The weather was also nice, and my husband was happy. If it's your first time sightseeing in Osaka, the prices are reasonable, so I think it's a good option.

年配8割でした。思っていたより利用者多かったです。お天気にも恵まれ、旦那も喜んでいました。大阪観光はじめてでしたら値段も安いので良いのではないでしょうか。

I used this service for a two-night stay in Kyoto for sightseeing. I had read that there are many foreign visitors, and indeed, everyone was punctual and kind. The staff's guidance and explanations were quick, and they remembered my face. Even though I was coughing due to a cold, they helped me by explaining the sightseeing spots in the city while I was moving after getting off the bus.

One concern I had was the lack of clear markers and explanations for the pickup at Kyoto Station. Since it was my first time, there were many tourists around the station, and although I had asked about the meeting point in advance through the Shinki Bus Tour, I struggled to find the marker. I expected a yellow happi coat, but it seems they switched to polo shirts this summer, and I was flustered, not noticing the staff who passed by me multiple times. I would have liked them to use flags when gathering at Kyoto Station as well. Additionally, it would be helpful if there was some explanation about participants from Kyoto Station boarding the bus after taking the train to Fushimi Station and touring the grounds.

A couple with large luggage seemed distressed and complained to the staff, which was unfortunate for both parties.

I wish we had about 20 more minutes at each sightseeing spot, but given the time constraints, I am very satisfied that we were able to visit so many places in one day. I was able to take many photos while running around and create wonderful memories. I will definitely use this service again.

遠方から２泊で京都観光の中日に利用です。
外国の方が多いとは体験で読んでましたが、皆さん時間厳守で、親切でした。
スタッフの方の誘導も説明も迅速で顔をちゃんと覚えて下さり、風邪を引いて咳き込まれてるのにバス降りて移動中に、市内の観光スポット説明をしてくれてとても助かりました。

ひとつ気掛かりなのは、京都駅からﾋﾟｯｸｱｯﾌﾟの際の目印と説明の不備です。初めて行くと駅周辺では観光客が大勢で、事前に神姫バスツアーで集合場所を聞きましたが目印を見つけるのに戸惑いました。
黄色い法被のはずが、今夏からﾎﾟﾛｼｬﾂになったらしく目の前にを何度も往来するスタッフさんに気づかず焦りの右往左往。京都駅集合の時も旗を利用して欲しかったです。
また京都駅からの参加者がバスへ乗車するのは伏見駅まで電車移動の上境内観光後と、どこかに説明が書いてあると良いと思います。
大荷物でツアー参加したご夫婦が知らずに動揺され、スタッフさんへクレームを入れていて、どちらも気の毒でした。

各名所の観光時間はもう20分欲しいところですが、時間配分的に困難なので、これだけ沢山を1日で回れたことにとても満足してます。
走り回りながら沢山の写真を撮り、思い出を残すことが出来ました。
是非また利用させて頂きます。

It was very crowded due to Golden Week, but I thought I wouldn't be able to navigate as efficiently without the tour, so I decided to participate. When we entered the parking lot at Fushimi Inari, we were a bit behind schedule, but as expected from the professionals, they adjusted things so that we hardly lost any sightseeing time.

We also included a meal, and it was definitely the right choice! We were able to enjoy our meal in a relaxed manner, separate from the huge crowds outside.

There were so many highlights, and by the end of the day, my feet were sore. Thank you for taking our family photos and for your thoughtful considerations.

GWのため大変な混雑でしたが、ツアーでなければここまで効率良く回れないと思い参加させて頂きました。
伏見稲荷の駐車場に入る時、少し時間は押しぎみでしたが、さすがプロ❗修正してほとんど観光時間を短縮することはなかったと思います。
食事も付けていたのですが、頼んでいて大正解！外の大混雑とは別にゆったりと食べられる事が出来ました。
沢山の見所満載で、１日の終わりには足はパンパンでした。

I have been to Osaka a few times for work, but I hadn't properly done any sightseeing, so I was able to visit various famous spots and enjoyed the guide's easy-to-understand explanations. The day I took the ride was hot with strong sunlight, but there was mist, so it felt nice when the wind blew.

大阪には仕事で何回か来たことがありましたが、ちゃんと観光はしてかったので色々と名所を回れたしガイドさんの説明も分かりやすく楽しめました。
乗車した日は日差しが強く暑い日でしたがミストが出ていたので風が吹くと気持ち良かったです。

I participated with my family during Golden Week. We were able to tour the famous spots in Osaka, and since it was an open-top bus, the scenery was amazing. The tour guide slowed down at times to make it easier to see, which made for a wonderful experience.

I would love to join this tour again in a different season to experience the changing seasons!
