On August 6th, I took a sightseeing tour in Osaka City on a double-decker bus at 9:30 AM. Despite the temperature being close to 35°C from the morning, it was just a one-hour tour. I appreciated the bus guide's clear and considerate explanations, as well as the driver's safety measures and efforts to slow down at landmarks for better viewing. I wanted to take a day trip to Kyoto during my stay in Osaka, so I joined the tour with my partner, who doesn't understand Japanese. The tour itself was very satisfying as it efficiently covered the sightseeing spots! My partner seemed to enjoy it a lot, and I was glad we participated.
If I had to mention some dissatisfaction, it would be that Kinkaku-ji was too crowded with tourists, and because of the rain, everyone had umbrellas, making it very difficult to move around. We also didn't have much time, so we couldn't take our time to appreciate it. Additionally, someone on the same bus was always late for the meeting time, which meant we lost the time we were looking forward to at Todai-ji, and that was disappointing.
大阪滞在中に日帰りで京都に行きたくて、日本語が分からないパートナーといっしょに参加しました。
ツアー自体は効率よく観光地を回れて非常に満足いくものでした！パートナーも非常に楽しそうにしていて、参加してよかったと思いました。
不満な点を挙げるとすれば、金閣寺は観光客が多すぎ＆雨でみんな傘をさしていて非常に動きづらさがあった＆時間もあまり無くて落ち着いて見られませんでした。
また、同じバスに乗っていた方が常に集合時間に遅れたため、楽しみにしていた東大寺へ行く時間が無くなり残念でした。

I took the bus on the northern route.
The bus stop is at Osaka Station JR Highway Bus, so it's easy to find. It's in front of the first floor of Lucua.
Since it was hot, I appreciated that they handed out cold cooling sheets.
We traveled for just under an hour while listening to the guide's talk.
It's best not to expect them to stop for a better view, as that doesn't happen.
I wouldn't recommend this for those who have traveled by car in the city or are moving around. After all, you will pass through anyway.
However, it might be good for those visiting the city for the first time or those using the subway or JR for transportation.

I joined the tour after 4 PM. I was worried about the heat, but the bus provided mist and distributed cooling sheets, making it a comfortable hour. Since I arrived in Osaka right before the tour, I was able to get a good sense of locations like Midosuji, Tsutenkaku, and Abeno Harukas, which helped with my sightseeing the next day. The bus slowed down at key points, so I didn't miss anything, and the guide was very attentive and provided excellent explanations. It was a lot of fun.

The guide seemed to be in decent health, though they occasionally coughed, but they didn't let any of that come through the microphone, which sounded healthy. This shows a high level of professionalism. I was impressed. After the tour, there was a spontaneous round of applause from all the participants, which I believe expressed our satisfaction. Additionally, when we left the bus, they sent us off with smiles and made us feel well taken care of. I participated with my daughter and son-in-law who live in America. On the day of the tour, a guide explained various things in English and Chinese. (The explanations were only during the drive; at the sightseeing spots, we had complete freedom to explore.)
We had plenty of time at each sightseeing location, so we could enjoy the sights at a leisurely pace. We arrived a bit late at the last sightseeing spot, Nara, and almost missed the visiting hours for Todai-ji, but the guide kindly led us partway in the rain to ensure we wouldn't get lost, and we made it just in time. I truly appreciate the help. My daughter and son-in-law were also very happy.

The open-top double-decker bus tour was my first experience. The weather was nice and warm, so it wasn't cold at all even in late March. It was my first time in Osaka, and the ability to efficiently sightsee in the city in a short amount of time on the last day was appealing. The guide's explanations were also very enjoyable. My middle school and elementary school children had a great time as well, and they mentioned wanting to try bus tours in various places. I thought it would have been nice to have a bit more time. It was great to take photos while leisurely exploring. The cherry blossoms were just blooming, but it was a shame about the rain. I made the reservation the day before knowing there was a 100% chance of rain, and I was happy to see the main attractions with my overseas friends.

I honestly didn't have high expectations for the one-hour city tour. I rode with my two younger sisters. The weather, which wasn't very promising, cleared up enough to see blue skies, and the temperature became warm enough that the open bus was quite comfortable. Above all, the guide's thorough explanations during the tour were excellent. Even though I thought it would be a short time, I learned about the history of Osaka, its origins, the medicine wholesale district, and place names related to sumo. If we had tried to navigate that course on our own, we would have definitely gotten lost. If I get the chance to go to Osaka again, I would love to ride this tour once more. This time, I'll bring a map! Thank you very much.
1時間程度の市内観光なので、正直あまり期待していませんでした。妹二人と乗車しました。 あまり芳しくないお天気が青空見えるくらいになり、気温も暑いくらいになってオープンバスが快適さがグーでした。そして何よりもガイドさんの丁寧な観光案内が良かったです。短い時間と思っていたのに、大阪の街の成り立ちや言われや薬問屋街とか相撲と関わりのある地名などもわかりました。

It seemed impossible to use the open deck since it had been raining right up until the last moment, but once we got on, it was hardly raining at all. It would have been more enjoyable if we could have opened it up along the way; what a shame.

I traveled with two elementary school boys. The weather was great and the scenery was amazing! The guide's stories were very interesting, and I’m really glad I took this ride. It was a lot of fun to see the famous spots in Osaka in a short amount of time, especially as a fan of morning dramas.
The fourth grader really enjoyed the thrill of riding on the expressway in the open bus. The third grader was happy to see the tall buildings clearly since there was no roof.
However, it was a cold day, and it was really chilly! I didn’t prepare enough for the cold. I wish I had brought adhesive heat packs, warm lap blankets, and a shawl. I was really grateful that the guide gave us heat packs. It would be nice to have a thicker lap blanket in the middle of winter...
Since it was the first bus of the day, we were in Osaka during the morning rush hour. It was interesting that department stores were closed, but I also wished to see Osaka during a livelier time. I would love to ride again with a different route and time!

ガイドさんがホッカイロをくださって、本当にありがたかったです。真冬はもう少し厚いひざ掛けがあるといいな…
朝1番の便でしたので、出勤時刻の大阪でした。
デパートなどは開店前でそれはそれでおもしろかったですが、賑やかな時間の大阪も見たかったなと思います。ルートや時間帯を変えてまた乗りたいです！
