Tokyo
I went on this tour just before the sakura bloomed. Beforehand we covered everything from the lecture to getting gloves and helmets! The weather was so good that we felt it was the best weather for cycling as we started.
At first, I thought I would be afraid of riding on the road, but with the help of our guide we rode on streets with few cars, so I felt safe while I was cycling.
There were also back streets, old shops, famous stores, temples, and shrines...
While we road around, the guide explained everything to us and I learned more about Tokyo than I already knew. (There was a lot of historical scenery that is difficult to look up by yourself and ride around on a bike, so I'm very thankful to the guide)
The guide was kind to take pictures in various places, and make tea for us in the afternoon! I made some great memories.
Finally, since the tour was long, I ended up slowing down toward the end since I had very little strength left. For those of you who have great endurance, I think you will definitely love this tour and its various details!

We are sincerely grateful received a lot of comments. We will strive to enjoy the Tokyo to customers who come from now also in Japan. In addition I will do my best to look forward to the day that you can see you.
I wanted to do something different in terms of Tokyo sightseeing so I found this tour and went with my children.
Even though it was the peak of summer heat, the bike ride was much more pleasant and cool than I thought it would be. I worried a little bit about riding on the road, but the instructor chose a safe route and told us all of the things we should be careful of. There was nothing that I thought was dangerous. We visited several great, little-known places and got the feeling of living in Tokyo. We chose this tour so that we could ride the water bus. When we arrived in Odaiba, the sun was setting and it was beautiful. The scenery from the water bus was fantastic.
Before then we went around so many places and when we were starting to feel tired, we could eat some "Shirokuma" ice cream, which tasted great and helped us to enjoy more cycling.
It actually feels nice to peddle with your own legs!
Thank you for taking pictures at all of the important spots! My kids really seemed to like Zojo-ji, Tokyo Tower and the scenery from the Rainbow Bridge.
It was great to be able to see parts of modern and historic Tokyo. We took the half day course but it passed by so quickly and if we get the chance, I'd like to try the full day course!

The Experience was fabulous, I really enjoyed this food tour and the guide was very friendly and informative. I think is a good way to get to know local food if it is a first time travel to Tokyo and I learned a lot about local delicious food from our guide. I loved it
Kiri was an amazing tour guide! He was friendly, caring and very organised. At the end of the tour he made sure all participants knew how to get back to their hotels - this was a nice touch as it was our first night in Tokyo and we were still getting our bearings :)
Meg was an excellent guide/host and was the perfect introduction to our time in Japan - after a few hours we felt well equipped to travel around the city and beyond
Miss Silky was a great guide. The whole family really enjoyed it.
Enjoyed our time on the hop on, hop off bus. The first loop we did was Asakusa course and got off and on the busses at different stops. We were able to see some major sights and the time in between the bus returns was reasonable with about an hour time frame. We then did the Odaiba Course and only got off at a one stop since the time frame was over an hour for the next bus and it was getting late. We enjoyed having the transportation around Tokyo since it was our first time there and it helped us determine what sites we would like to return to the next few days using the subways. I would highly recommend this tour for first time guests in Tokyo.
Hop on Hop off is the best way to Tour Tokyo when on a limited time. It gives you enough information of the sites as you go around the city. They also have 3 selections for Tour routes which you can access. Also allows you to go around without having to use the subways.
The tour was well organised, the direction to meet them are clear and the meeting is easy to find also located near a underground and train station. Yumi our guide was very informative and fun. She gave us the right amount of information and also gave us the right amount of time for ourselves. I really enjoyed it, to be the first time in Tokyo it was the right half day tour to see the main important attraction in town. I recommend it!
an awesome experience for our kids and we really enjoy it :-)
I felt the wind like I was on a roller coaster, and it was more enjoyable than I imagined. I think the good weather contributed to that as well.
ジェットコースターに乗っているように風を感じられて想像以上に楽しく満喫出来ました。お天気が良かったのでそれも良かったことの一因だと思います。
Meg is a fantastic guide!
we enjoyed our sightseeing, cllimate was just right as we cross the rainbow bridge. we discovered so many things about Japan's diff locations, very informative and helpful to in selecting places we want to explore on our limited time in Tokyo. we were glad that we book hop on hop off.
Megan was wonderful! Highly recommend this food tour!
It was a good well organized tour with a very well experienced and friendly guide
The trip was very well organised and gave a wonderfully rich and varied view of the city. The guide was helpful, clear and made the venues interesting.. Lunch was excellent, as was the Tea ceremony (if not the tea!!!) Most of the trip was a five star experience but in the afternoon far too much time was allocated to free time for shopping, which was of no interest whatsoever to the majority of our tour group. As a result the subsequent visit to the temple was rushed and came very late in a long day, when we were all extremely tired.
Interesting tour, experience guide, nice lunch, almost get to see Tokyo in one day.
Silvia was a great guide. We really enjoyed the restaurants and seeing Tokyo at night.
Wonderful experience went to places we would never have found on our own
Wonderful tour. Very well organized. Took us to all the important sights of the city. Enjoyed a delicious lunch. A great overview of the city.

I took the water bus from in front of the Tokyo Skytree during a weekday in Golden Week. The ride on the river was only about 15 minutes, and I think it would have been better if it had been closer to 30 minutes. I also think there should be course options like a downstream ride on the Sumida River.
ゴールデンウィーク中の平日 スカイツリー前より乗車して中川 水陸両用バスに乗って来ました。 川の中には 約15分しかないので、倍近くの30分以上がよかったと思います。
また、隅田川川下り等のコース設定もありと思います。
Hop on the Saddle tour was a wonderful experience! Upon arrival we were impressed by the immaculate bike garage. The bikes were well maintained and light. Helmets and gloves were provided.
Seeing Tokyo by bike provided a more intimate view of the local culture, beauty of its parks and architecture. Our tour guide was very concerned about our safety and comfort. He even brought rain ponchos for our group since our day started out with a light misty rain.
The personal touches will endear you. We had a small group of six so we stopped for a picnic in a local park while Hero, our guide, brewed various teas for us to try along with homemade banana nut bread baked by his wife.
The ride was very enjoyable. The terrain was mostly flat and easily managed. We leisurely meandered through the various neighborhoods stopping frequently to allow photos. Our guide took photos for us throughout the entire tour and will provide via email.
When we were in high traffic areas our guide would patiently wait for those who may have been separated by a red light. As long as you ride single file and to the left the busy street traffic you encounter will not be a problem. We had novice riders and they did fine. I would highly recommend this experience as an unique and fun way to see the city!
Thank you for your participation.
We were able to spend a very pleasant day with your thanks. Also thank you for compliments wife of banana cake.
I always think of a way that can do more fun to the foreign guests.
I am very grateful to comment.
The tour guide is pleasant, profession, knowledgable
When coming in to any new place to visit, we look for bus tours such as this. The tour was informative and gave us an idea of places we would want to return to and explore fully. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was worried about using a service such as Veltra but I had no problems whatsoever. We plan on doing the bus tour again when friends visit and using Veltra. Highly recommend!
Driving on the Shuto Expressway felt like riding a roller coaster, and it was so much fun!! The prices are reasonable, and since it departs near Tokyo Station, I think the access is very good too.^^
特に首都高を走ったのがジェットコースターに乗っているかのような感覚で楽しかったです!!お値段もお手頃ですし、東京駅近くから出発なのでアクセスもとても良いと思います^^
We participated in this tour as part of our singles in paradise Japan vacation. This was a perfect way to see the city and get some fresh air and excersize. The man who runs it is very nice and even brought his two lovely daughters along to help out and watch over us. The bikes seemed new and functioned very well. The route too us along some nice paths and some of the interesting sites. We stopped aking the way so he could point out different things and take pictures. Then we stopped at a place that offered sushi to go. We selected what we wanted which was part of the cost then we headed to a nice park where he spread out a tarp and we had a nice picnic. He even warned up a couple different types of tea for us. Then the final treat was fresh made banana bread that he said his wife had just made. We were well taken care of.
The route is all flat. The full day tour is 25 kilometers. We are not the youngest of fittest group but we all did fine.
I would highly recommend this tour as a great way to see the city and enjoy some exercise. I would also recommend taking a taxi there. This is located in a high rise building not real close to any trams. It threw me off since in my mind I was expecting to be meeting in a park. But Hiro runs this from that bundling where he stores the bikes.
Again, a wonderful tour. Thank you Hiro!
Thank you for your participation.
Little rain was nice ceased.
It was good weather up rain soon.
And It is fun cycling for your cooperation.
Did you enjoy the Tokyo?
Beer since the goal was very delicious.
I think back happily with daughters.
Please enjoy the Japan.
It was good and on time. Although it rained in the morning when we rode the open air bus.
It was raining a lot the entire time we were on the tour. At the Imperial Palace, there was no time to roam around because we were following the guide and the group took many pictures under the rain. At Asakusa, we were allowed to roam around on our own and strolled along the shops at our own pace. However, we had to wait for everyone at the tour to get back on the bus. Some people choose this to be their last stop and we lost time due to miscommunication. We ended up with less than 10 minutes to spend at the outer fish market.
The main highlights of this tour is the bus ride with the audio commentary and the buffet lunch. The lunch location overlooks the bridge and statue of liberty - spectacular view. There is not enough time to explore the stops provided in the tour. It is best to choose an area to explore and have the bus drop you off as your last stop. We chose Shibuya as our last stop and walked back to Shinjuku.
Other Tips:
1. This tour is good for people arriving on the first day and dont want to explore too much.
2. If you want to eat Japanese food, i would suggest not selecting the lunch. We were full from the American lunch and did not have room to eat dinner!
3. If you like to explore and walk at your own pace (whether fast or slow), then you should not select this tour.
Dear Newbie Travelers
Thank you for joining our tour and review.
We apologize that you didn't have time to go around in the tour.
We will improve our tour, expressly time management.
thank you again.

The time between the buses is too long, 70 min. You can't make even two full routes in one day. If the time was 30 min, then it'll be possible.
