The virtual guide walks you through the history in such an engaging way that by the time you step out in Asakusa, you see the whole area with completely different eyes. The temple, the streets, the atmosphere — everything hits differently when you actually know the story behind it. The transition between the AR visuals and the real city is seamless and so well done. Honestly one of the most unique and memorable experiences I’ve had in Japan.

We took this time travel taxi from Tokyo station to Ueno station and it was so much fun, very informative and allowed us to learn about the Edo period in Japan and the taxi itself was very comfortable and smooth.

All in all, it was a great experience :) What I especially loved was that you were "accompanied" by several characters during the ride.

In addition, the taxi was extremely comfortable, the music was very entertaining, a... morend even though I’ve been living in Tokyo for a few years now, I learned something new.
