I participated in the half-day course at Yakusugi Land in the afternoon. Since it was possible to join as a solo traveler, I attended alone this time. By late August, it seemed that the summer vacation peak had passed, so instead of a bus, we took a taxi. The driver shared a lot of detailed information about Yakushima. We visited Yakusugi Land and the Jomon Sugi, and along the way, he also pointed out some delicious spots for water. On the way back, he kindly stopped at various places to explain things, which made for wonderful memories. He even took me to a shop I wanted to visit on the way back. It was very kind of him. I would like to use this service again.

午後からのヤクスギランド半日コースを利用しました。
お一人様の参加可能ということで、
今回ひとり参加致しました。
8月下旬で夏休みピークを過ぎたのか
参加が数名だったためバスでなく、
タクシーだったのですが運転手さんから色々と屋久島の詳しいお話しも聞けました。
ヤクスギランドと紀元杉に行きましたが、
途中の美味しい脇水の場所とかも教えてもらったり、帰りみちは所々で下車して丁寧に説明して下さったのでとても思い出になりました。
帰りは寄りたいお店まで送っていただきました。
とても親切でした。
また利用したいです。

My mother participated alone with a walker, and although it caused some trouble, it seems that the driver and the guide were very considerate, allowing us to complete the tour safely. Since Yakushima sightseeing mainly involves trekking and climbing, I consulted with VELTRA about whether my mother could participate, as she is unable to walk around. Thanks to their communication with the local team and the arrangements made in advance, we were able to join without any worries. Thank you very much.

母が一人でシルバーカーを押しての参加で、色々お手数を掛けましたが、
運転手さんはじめガイドさんが気遣って下さったようで、無事観光を終えることができました。
屋久島観光はトレッキングや登山等が主になってしまうので、

Due to time constraints, I only participated in the morning course. We visited places like Ohkawa Falls, Gajumaru, the Western Forest Road, and Inakahama. The guide was very skilled at sharing stories and taught me a lot about Yakushima that I wouldn't have known on my own.

First of all, I think it would be great to take this tour to get an overview of Yakushima and then explore your favorite spots individually! I recommend it for those who have limited travel schedules or for families with small children.

時間の関係で、午前中のコースのみに参加しました。大川の滝〜ガジュマル〜西部林道〜いなか浜などを回りました。ガイドさんのお話も上手で、1人たびでは知れない、屋久島のことをたくさん教えて頂きました。

まず、このツアーで屋久島を1周されてから好きな場所を個人で散策されるといいかなと思いました！ 旅の日程があまり取れない方、小さなお子さんがいる方にもオススメです。

The guide was from Yakushima and shared various stories about the island while explaining the famous spots. It was interesting to hear that despite having such beautiful seas, the locals prefer playing in the rivers rather than swimming in the ocean. The stories were engaging throughout. The lunch was substantial and offered great value for money.

ガイドさんが、屋久島出身のかたで屋久島のいろいろな話を交えて、名所名所では解説してくれます。あんなにきれいな海なのに地元の人は海水浴ではなく川遊びしかしないとか、いろいろなところでお話が面白かった。昼食もしっかりしておりコスパも最高です。

The taxi guide was a fun person, and despite the heavy rain, the sightseeing was enjoyable. Thank you for the playful and informative guidance.

This time, since the hotel was Sankara, I wanted to prioritize my hotel stay, so I chose the half-day course. It was a casual tour where I could participate in casual clothes. The guide's explanations were precise and made me feel good.

今回場所ホテルがサンカラだったので、ホテル滞在を重視したかったから、半日コースにしました。
平服で参加できて、気軽なツアーでした。
ガイドさんの説明が的確で気持ちがよかった。

The guide was very nice, and we had a fun day. Since there were four participants this time, we traveled by taxi. I honestly thought it would be tough for three people to sit in the back seat all day, so I gave it four stars, but I was satisfied with the content of the tour. I think it would be difficult to visit everything on our own in one day, and the price was reasonable, so it was helpful to have someone take us around to various places.

ガイドさんはとても良い方で、一日楽しく過ごせました。今回は参加人数が４人ということでタクシーでの移動でした。一日中、車での移動なので、後ろの席に３人座るのは正直、厳しいかなと思ったので星４つにしましたが、ツアーの中身については満足しています。自分たちで全部回ろうとしたら一日ではきついと思うくらい、料金もお手頃で色々連れて行ってもらえて助かりました。

I participated the day before climbing Jomon Sugi. I learned about the history of Yakushima and Yakusugi from the guide. Having knowledge made the experience of trying to reach Jomon Sugi even more enjoyable.

縄文杉の登山前日に参加しました。屋久島の歴史、屋久杉についてなどガイドさんから教えてもらいました。ちしきをもって縄文杉へトライするとより楽しさが深くなりました。

The bus guide was very entertaining, sharing the charm of Yakushima in a fun and engaging way throughout the day. Even while driving on regular roads, I was able to hear stories about the island that matched the scenery, making the experience more fulfilling than I expected.

During our trip on the World Heritage-listed Nishiibu Road, we encountered someone who had dropped their rental car into a ditch... It seems there are difficult spots that are hard to navigate unless you're a local, so I think it's safer and more recommended than driving around in a rental car.

To circle the island and have lunch included at this price is an incredible deal!!

Since you're just riding on the bus, it doesn't require much physical effort, and I believe people of all ages, from children to the elderly, can enjoy it widely.

If I had to mention one thing... since we often drive on winding roads, it might be reassuring for those who get motion sickness to have some motion sickness medication.

You can experience the charm of the island and enjoy all the highlights in just one day! I highly recommend it for those who want to indulge!

バスガイドさんがとても面白い方で、屋久島の魅力を1日かけて面白可笑しく教えてくださいます。
普通の道を走行中でも、景色に合わせて島のお話が聞けるので予想以上に充実しました。

世界遺産である西部林道の途中、溝にレンタカーを落としてしまった人と遭遇。。。
地元の慣れた人でないと通るのが難しい難所などもあるようで、レンタカーで回るよりも安全でおススメだと思います。

島を一周して、昼食までついてこのお値段は破格です‼

バスに乗っているだけなので体力もほとんど使いませんし、お子様からご高齢の方まで幅広く楽しめると思います。

強いて言えば…入り組んだ道を走ることが多いので、乗り物酔いをされる方は酔い止めがあれば安心かもしれません。

島の魅力をたった1日で美味しいところ取りができます！
欲張りたい方には是非おススメです！！
