I thought that having an extra 10 minutes at Yakusugi Land would make a significant difference. With the 50-minute course, it was a bit tough to enjoy the walk leisurely, and I ended up walking quickly.

Everything else was perfect. The lunch included in the tour price was incredibly delicious, it covered almost all the spots in Yakushima, I could be picked up and dropped off at my preferred locations, and the guide was really entertaining. However, there was so much information that it was a bit overwhelming to digest, haha.

I can understand why this tour is loved by everyone. If I have the chance to come again, I will definitely use this service.

ヤクスギランドの時間だけはもう10分余裕があると全然違うと思いました。50分コースだとゆっくりと堪能しながら歩くのは少し厳しく、早足になってしまうため。
他は全てにおいて完璧でした。このツアー代金でお昼ごはんもめちゃくちゃ美味しいし、屋久島のスポットをほぼ網羅しているし、好きなところに送迎してもらえるし、ガイドさんむちゃくちゃおもろいし、ただ、情報量多すぎて若干消化不良ではあります笑
みんなに愛されるツアーであること納得です。また来ることがあれば必ず利用すると思いました。

The guide provided clear explanations, and I was able to learn about the history of Yakushima. I think participating in this tour before going trekking will enhance the experience even more.

We departed at 8 AM and took a tour around Yakushima, which included lunch and felt like a great deal. The guide was kind and explained everything thoroughly, and I was able to buy a bag of tankan for just 100 yen. It's a place you wouldn't know about unless you're a local. We were also blessed with good weather, making it an enjoyable tour until 5 PM.

朝8時に出発し屋久島を一回りしランチも付き、お得感はありました。
ガイドの方も親切丁寧に説明していただき、タンカンも一袋100円で購入できました。現地の方でなければこのような場所知りえませんね。
天気にも恵まれ5時までの楽しいツアーでした。

I participated from the afternoon of the day I arrived, and there was a shuttle service to the airport, so I was able to make effective use of my time. The guide's explanations were very good, and the driver was experienced with the steep roads, so I felt safe during the ride.

到着した日の午後からの参加で、空港までの送迎もあり、時間を有効に使えました。ガイドさんの説明も大変良かったですし、険しい道も運転手の方は慣れておられたので、安心して乗車できました。

It's convenient that they provide transportation to the hotel. At each sightseeing spot, we definitely walk. There are many slopes and mountain paths, so those with mobility issues or lacking physical confidence should be cautious. Since it was a weekday, the number of participants was small, so everyone on the bus had two seats to themselves, whether alone or in a group. There was no explanation or notice from the tour guide, and before we knew it, everyone had two seats. The price differs between individuals and groups, so if that bothers you, it's better to refrain from joining. The tour itself was enjoyable, and the flying fish dish was very delicious.

宿泊ホテルまで送迎してもらえるので便利。
それぞれ案内される名所では必ず歩く。
坂道や山道も多いので足の悪い方や体力に自信のない方は要注意。
平日だったので参加人数が少数の為、お一人でもグループでも
バス内は全員が1人2席づつ座っていた。
添乗員からの説明や断りも一切無く、いつのまにか全員が1人2席。
お一人とグループでは金額が違うので、それが気にいらないという方は
やめたほうが良い。
ツアー自体は楽しかったし、トビウオ料理もとても美味しかった。

I participated in a one-day course on Yakushima solo trip. Both the guide and the driver were friendly. The guide shared insights about life on the island from a local's perspective, which made me feel more knowledgeable about Yakushima. They also provided pick-up and drop-off service to the hotel, making it very convenient, and it turned out to be a fun and fulfilling day. I highly recommend it over driving around by yourself!

屋久島ひとり旅で1日コースに参加しました。ガイドさんも運転手さんも気さくな方でした。ガイドさんは島民目線で屋久島での暮らしについてもお話をしてくださり屋久島について詳しくなれた気がします。ホテルまで送り迎えをしていただけるので楽ちんですし、とても楽しい充実した1日になりました。自分でレンタカーで回るよりおすすめです！

We started at 8:30 and were picked up at the hotel at 17:30. The 8 hours included the guide's own driving, continuous commentary during the drive, a wonderful escort and guidance at Yakusugi Land, and enjoyable conversations with us. Including the meal, the participation fee was very reasonable, and the cost performance was excellent. It was a fulfilling day that was much more satisfying than renting a car and exploring on our own. It felt like a live-action version of a movie.

8:30にスタートして17:30にホテルに送迎していただいた8時間、ガイド様ご自身のドライブとドライブ中の切れ目のないガイド、ヤクスギランドでの見事なエスコートとガイド、そして私達との楽しい会話　お食事の内容も含めて今回の参加料はとてもお値打ちがありコストパフォーマンスも充分で、車をレンタルして廻りるより内容が非常に充実して満足できた1日でした。ブラ○○○の実写版でした。

A sightseeing course that takes you around Yakushima in one day. It was very efficient, and I was able to enjoy touring the island with explanations from the guide. I had rented a car, but there are many narrow roads on the island, so I was really glad I participated in this tour and had a veteran driver take me around.

一日で屋久島をぐるっと１周する観光コース。
とても効率よく、しかもガイドさんの説明付きで　楽しく島内を観光することができました。
レンタカーも借りていましたが、島内は道が狭い箇所が多く、自分で行かずにこのツアーに参加して、ベテランの運転手さんに連れて行ってもらって本当に良かったです。

Since Jomon Sugi requires a 20km walk, we chose a one-day bus tour due to our limited stamina and time. From before 9 AM until around 5 PM, including lunch (which was included in the price), we covered almost all the sightseeing points in Yakushima and had a fantastic day thanks to our guide (who was actually the taxi driver we had the night before).

- Although we couldn't see Jomon Sugi, we enjoyed mini-hiking around Yakusugi Land and Kigen Sugi, fully experiencing the atmosphere of Yakushima.
- In the western area, we had the rare experience of getting off the bus and walking alongside a group of Yakuzaru (many baby monkeys) for about 10 minutes.

I highly recommend this tour.

縄文杉は20kmくらい歩かなくてはいけないので、体力・時間のない我々は１日バスツアーを選択しました。
朝の9時前から夕方5時頃まで、昼食（料金こみ）をはさみ、屋久島の観光ポイントをほぼ網羅し、ガイドさん（実は前の晩乗ったタクシーの運転手さんだった）の楽しい案内で最高の１日を過ごせました。
・縄文杉は見れないが、ヤクスギランドや紀元杉の周りでミニハイキングが
　あり、屋久島の雰囲気は十分満喫できます。
・西部では、バスを降りて、10分くらいやくざるの群れ（子ザルの多数）を
　一緒に歩くとういう貴重な体験も出来ました。
おすすめのツアーです。

The hotel had a pick-up service, which was very convenient. Since I was participating alone, I decided on the "Yakuzaru-go." It was a great plan as it allowed me to circle around Yakushima and visit various tourist spots.

ホテルに迎えがありとても便利にはです。一人での参加でしたから『やくざる号』に決めました。屋久島一周ができ観光スポットを回れとても良いプランです。

It was a tour that took us around the island for a whole day. The female guide was cheerful and made the explanations interesting, keeping the atmosphere lively throughout. The male driver was also kind, always saying "Have a good time" as we set off. Yakushima is larger than I expected, and it takes time to get around. The roads to the West Coast Forest Road and Yakusugi Land are narrow and long, so if you're not very experienced at driving, it might be a hassle for others. I think everyone would be happier participating in the tour.

島を一周して、一日まるごと案内していただけるツアーでした。
ガイドの女性は明るく、説明も面白く終始盛り上げてくださいます。運転手の男性も、いつも行ってらっしゃいと言ってくださって優しかったです。
思っていたより屋久島は大きく移動に時間がかかりますし、西部林道やヤクスギランドへは道も細く長く、運転に相当慣れていないとまわりに迷惑になりそうなので、ツアーに参加したほうが全員幸せだと思います。

This is a tour that allows you to circle Yakushima. It includes plenty of activities such as passing through the World Heritage area, seeing Yakusugi trees, and visiting waterfalls. The only disappointment was that I couldn't see the Jomon Sugi due to road closures from snow. I hope to see it next time.

屋久島を一周まわることができるツアーです。世界遺産エリアを通ったり、屋久杉を見たり、滝を見たりと盛りだくさんです。一つだけ残念だったのは雪による通行止めで紀元杉が見られなかったこと。また次の機会に見たいです。

Since there was only one group of participants, we ended up touring with a sightseeing taxi. Therefore, I don't think this will be very helpful, but the driver and guide provided very detailed explanations, so I learned a lot about Yakushima. Knowing the overall picture of the island and even some ethnological aspects on the first day of the trip made this journey much richer.

たまたま、参加者が一組だったので観光タクシーでの周遊となりました。
ですので、参考にはならないとは思いますが・・
運転手兼ガイドの方が、大変詳細に説明してくださったので、屋久島のことがよくわかりました。
旅の初日に、島の全体像や民俗学的なことまで知りえたことは、この旅を豊かなものにしてくれました。

The explanation from the mom guide was excellent.
It was truly world heritage level.
I didn't expect much from the lunch, but the local flying fish dish was amazing!
I would love to go on a bus tour again.

I was satisfied with the many things I experienced, including the Yakuzaru monkeys, Yakushima deer, waterfalls, beaches, Yakusugi trees, the vertical distribution of Yakushima's plants, and the passionate love for Yakushima from our guide. It was great! I had a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying the whole day. The lunch was delicious too. I was able to buy a lot of souvenirs. The guide, who had a pleasant voice and was both cute and reliable, along with the cheerful driver, were fantastic.

Two flustered older ladies caused a bit of trouble. When I go again with my daughter, I would love to take the bus tour again.

I participated in the morning tour. Even so, it was a course that went around Yakushima, so I was satisfied! The guide's explanations were detailed, and there were narrow roads in some places, making it easier to sightsee compared to renting a car. It was great that they picked me up at the hotel, and I just had to get on the bus, which made it a comfortable tour for my tired body after trekking the day before. By the way, the morning tour does not include lunch.

それでも屋久島を一週するようなコースでしたので満足しました！ガイドさんの説明も詳しくありまた場所によっては狭い道もありレンタカーより
気楽に観光でき良かったです。

It was my first solo trip to Yakushima, and I was able to enjoy exploring the island. I heard various stories and learned a lot about the names of plants, as well as the fact that there are many native species, which was educational. I also learned that there are different ways to enjoy the island depending on the season, and I would like to invite my friends to come back next time.

初めての屋久島一人旅でしたが、楽しく巡ることができました。
いろいろな話も聞け、植物の名前も本当にたくさん教えていただき、原種もたくさんあることを聞くことができ、勉強になりました。
季節によって色々な楽しみ方があるということも知り、今度は友人を誘ってまた来たいと思いました。

I couldn't rent a car, so I reluctantly joined a bus tour, but there were many interesting episodes, and I was able to enjoy valuable time and experiences that I wouldn't have had with a rental car. Thank you!

I went on a solo trip to Yakushima. I gathered information from the tourism association and researched online to create a 2-night, 3-day schedule. Although I was told that the two sightseeing buses on the island were either fully booked or had no seats available, I was able to sign up for a tour online. The tour covered almost all the main spots, and the guide provided detailed explanations. Above all, the weather was great, and there were no accidents. I was able to walk the 50-minute course at Yakusugi Land, and although it was just a little, I got to walk on the forest road as well. It’s a very good tour for quickly exploring the island. It would be nice to combine it with a half-day tour. By the way, the island's local buses finish running quite early.

屋久島ひとり旅に行って来ました。観光協会等できいたり、ネットで調べたり、2泊3日のスケジュールを組みました。島に２つある観光バスは満席かゼロと言われましたが、ネットで今回の周遊ツアーに申し込む事ができました。ほぼ、主な所は網羅され、ガイドさんも詳しく説明をしてくれました。何より、お天気も良く、アクシデントもありませんでした。屋久杉ランドも50分コースを歩く事ができ、林道も少しでしたが、歩かせてくれました。手っ取り早く島を回るには大変良いツアーです。半日ツアーと兼ねると良いですね。
それにしても、島の路線バスは早くに終わるのですね。

There were many narrow mountain roads that made it difficult to pass each other, so I think it was a good decision to go on a tour. Each spot was great, but I also really enjoyed listening to the guide's stories along the way. It's a shame I dozed off partway through due to the fatigue from the Jomon Sugi hike the day before. The lunch was delicious too.

すれ違うのが大変な狭い山道も多く、自力で運転は難しかったと思う、ツアーにして良かったです。
各スポットもよかったですが、道中もガイドさんのお話しとても楽しく聞かせていただきました。前日の縄文杉の疲れで途中居眠りしてしまったのが残念。

We had planned to rent a car for sightseeing, but we were able to fully enjoy the charm of Yakushima with the Yakuzaru bus. There were many narrow roads, and I thought it would be difficult to navigate on our own. We could relax and take in the scenery, and we even saw groups of wild monkeys along the way. The trekking at Yakusugi Land was easy enough for beginners to walk comfortably.

自分たちでレンタカー借りて観光予定でしたが、やくざる号で屋久島の魅力を満喫できました。狭い道も多く自分たちで回るのは大変だなと思いました。安心して景色を見たり道には野生の猿などの群れがいたり、屋久杉ランドでのトレッキングは初心者でも楽に歩けました。

It was my first time in Yakushima, and both the scenery and the weather were great. Especially, our guide, Mr. Hidaka, was very knowledgeable and his explanations were easy to understand.

On the last day in Yakushima, I participated in a half-day tour around the island before my return time. We explored the UNESCO World Heritage forest, and each part was explained to us in detail. It was a very fulfilling tour.

I participated alone.
To explore Yakushima thoroughly, a rental car is necessary, but if you're not confident in driving, I highly recommend this tour.
- There were about 20 participants on the day, and I got the impression that there were many middle-aged and older individuals.
- The tour guide provided smooth and polite explanations and conducted the tour well.
- I saw monkeys and deer. There were really a lot of them, which was exciting.
- I only participated in the morning since I had a flight in the afternoon, but I think it's a flexible tour that allows for morning-only participation. Additionally, after the morning tour, the guide kindly showed me the bus stop for the airport bus I would take in the afternoon and even asked if I needed a ride partway.
- Actually, on the morning of the tour, I took the first bus from my accommodation near Nagata Beach to the meeting place. I had communicated this when making the reservation, and they changed the meeting point to a location near the port for my convenience. The bus guide was also waiting in an easy-to-find spot. I think this company has many kind people.

On days other than the tour, I visited Jomon Sugi and Shiratani Unsuikyo. I recommend fitting this tour in between visits to Jomon Sugi and Shiratani Unsuikyo or taking it on the last day for a leisurely exploration. You can experience the charm of Yakushima beyond just the mountains.

一人で参加いたしました。
屋久島をぐるっと回るためにはレンタカーが必要となりますが、運転に自信がない場合はこのツアーが大変おすすめです。
・当日は20名くらいの参加者で、全体的に中高年の方が多い印象でした。
・ツアーガイドさんはスムーズかつ丁寧な説明とツアー運行でした。
・サルや鹿も見られました。本当にたくさんいるので興奮しました。
・私は当日午後の飛行機で帰るため午前だけの参加でしたが、午前のみ参加もできる点が融通が利くツアーだなと思います。また、午前のツアーが終わった後も、ガイドさんが午後に乗る空港行きのバス停を教えてくれたり、途中まで乗せていくか聞いてくださったり親切でした。
・実は当日の朝、私は永田浜(いなか浜)近くの宿から始発のバスで集合場所に向かったのですが、そのことを予約の時から伝えていたところ、私が分かりやすいように港近くの集合に変更してくださったり、バスガイドさんも分かりやすい所で待っていたりしてくださっていました。皆さん親切な方が多い会社なのだと思います。

私はこのツアーの日以外は縄文杉、白谷雲水峡に行っていました。縄文杉と白谷雲水峡の合間の日にこのツアーを入れたり、最終日にのんびり回るというのもおすすめです。山の中だけでない屋久島の魅力を感じることができます。

Typhoon No. 12 and No. 13 approached the Japanese archipelago one after another, and despite concerns from those around me, I made my third trip to Yakushima.

Somehow, Typhoon No. 13 veered off, and the plane flew, allowing us to land in Yakushima! On September 16, I was able to join a tour on the Yakuzaru. We departed from the Iwasaki Hotel.

My companion, the gajumaru tree, was the largest I had ever seen in Japan. And the Ohkawa Waterfall—seeing such a powerful waterfall up close is truly unmatched. It was overwhelming!

On the Seibu Forest Road, I was able to see wild Yakuzaru and deer up close, and they were so cute.

However, from here, the rain intensified due to the effects of Typhoon No. 14, and we had to move quickly. Nevertheless, the bento was substantial and satisfying. The fried flying fish was also delicious.

Unfortunately, participants in the afternoon tour could not make it to Yakushima due to worsening weather, so, regrettably, Yakusugi Land was cut from the itinerary.

We did visit the ancient cedar, which was also impressive, and I was able to touch it and receive the power of nature! Being able to see so much in one day was definitely worth it!

台風12号、13号と続けざまに日本列島に近づき、周囲から心配されつつ三度目の屋久島へ
なんとか台風13号が反れ飛行機が飛び屋久島へ上陸！
9/16にやくざる号で周遊ツアーに参加出来ました！
いわさきホテルから出発でした。
仲間のがじゅまるは、国内で見た中で一番大きかったです。そして、大川の滝、あれだけ迫力のある滝を間近で見られるのは、他に無いのでは？思いました。圧倒されます！
西武林道では、野生のやくざるや鹿などが間近で見られ、とても可愛かったです。
ここから台風14号の影響で雨足が強くなりサクサクとこなさなければならなくなってきました～
しかし、お弁当は、しっかりボリュームがあり食べこたえありました。飛び魚の唐揚げも美味しかったです。
午後からのツアー参加者が屋久島に来れず。天候も更に悪化してきた為、残念ながらやくすぎランドは、カットとなりました
そして、紀元杉へこれまた迫力のある大杉しっかり触って自然のパワーを頂きました！
1日でこれだけ回れたら値打ちがありますね！

This is a bus tour around Yakushima guided by a local driver who loves the island.

The explanations were clear and thorough, and I could really feel the spirit of Yakushima. At Seibu Forest Road, I was able to see the Yakuzaru and Yakushima deer.

I participated in the morning tour only, but it was just right to end with the beautiful sea and beach after trekking through Shiratani Unsuikyo and Jomon Sugi.
